First time with Specsavers after not being happy with my previous opticians. The staff that dealt with me were helpful and informative. Got some new glasses & contacts and all the tests were thorough and done well. Happy with my new glasses so will definitely keep coming to this store.

Seen quickly for an eye test. Friendly and informative lady taking time to explain the health side of my eye test as well as my vision. Jack was really helpful and efficient in sorting my glasses, getting them sorted before my holidays and making sure they fitted perfectly - even shortening the sides of my glasses! Great service.

All I can say is that this Specsavers is the best. Went in there to get eyetest and to replace my old glasses with new. I did have a problem with my lenses when I first picked them up so returned to the store they could not have been any more helpful all the way to the front staff to the opticians superb service. they promptly sorted out the issue. I would just like to mention one person that I feel deserves a special mention and that is Jack the service he gave me was the best he could not of done anything more. He went well beyond my expectations. He checked double checked so thanks Jack. Also to all the staff that helped me thank you as well. Oh and my glasses are now perfect.

I have just picked my new glasses. Brie helped and advised me picking out my new frames and what suited me the best. We chose which pair was best and also went for a pair of sunglasses. Absolutely amazing service given by Henna and Jack. They were extremely helpful, and informative with a complex prescription for my son who has severe learning disabilities, autism and is non verbal. Nothing was too much trouble and made the whole experience stress free for my son. They are both valuable members of your team and am so grateful for their service.

My eye check was conducted to a high standard as was the selection of lenses. Unfortunately when I collected the glasses there was no fitting undertaken to ensure the glasses fitted correctly. I had to return with the glasses, I comlpained the frames were twisted. A shop assistant attempted to reshape the frames to fit correctly. I visited the store yet again today with the same issue! The Supervisor Beverly straight away acknowledged that the frames were twisted! I was eventually given new frames and the lenses were quickly swapped! I would like to thank Beverly for her attention in this matter but sadly my overall score of 3 stars still stands!

Having recently had some issues with my vision, I booked an appointment with Specsavers in Telford via the website which was easy. I was tested by Mahdiya who was through and extremely knowledgeable and later served by Chloe who provided excellent advice and guidance on frames and lenses. Very happy with the testing and the service.

When I arrived I had a brief wait before the lady managing reception came from showing another customer where they needed to go. She(Julie) took my information and advised me where I needed to go and what I was doing. I was then seen by another member of staff who did a couple of tested before my appointment. I was then seen by Sonia the optician after a short wait in the waiting room. Sonia explained all the test she would do and asked if I had any questions. She the showed me the results of my previous tests and explained them. Once I was done I went back to the main store and was advised what to do regarding trying on the glasses. I was then shown to a seat and had a short wait until Henna came to see me, she apologised for the wait then to discussed the different aspects available to me with my choices and what the costs would be. She then processed my sale and advised how long the glasses would be and booked me an appointment to collect. Overall everyone was friendly and polite.

The gentleman from Audiology is friendly thorough and knows his business. It is great to know now GP surgeries don't do ear wax removal people can get such a professional service at your local Specsavers store. You can book on line or phone the store.

My glasses snapped and could not be repaired. I was spoken to very professionally and friendly by Raman who then consulted with her supervisor, Hansa. They put my old lenses in a new frame without any charge and cleaned my lenses for me. I was extremely happy with the service I received.

I would like to tell my experiences in this particular store. What an amazing customer service i had there, the welcoming was really nice the atmosphere was great as well.The opticians Jazz was really professional and friendly he explained everything . The most mentionable person name was Russel. When i got to the part to choose my glasses i was really anxious unfortunately since 2020 I suffer with mental health conditions and on that moment there i was nearly on the point to walk out of the shop because of my anxiety level but the member of the staff Russel recognised my behaviour and he started talking to me he was friendly and helpful I felt i can do this now with his help. I happily choose my new pair of glasses. I went back to the store collect my glasses on Friday take my new glasses home unfortunately the fitting of the glasses was not right so I headed back to the store on Saturday evening. I’m sorry if is to long but I have to tell how amazing this person is , so i was front of the shop door it was nearly closing time but the member the staff Russel opened the door for me let me in with the smile on his face before closing he asked me how can he help he fixed my glasses which fits now very nicely. I would like to say a big thank you to Russel to be a highly professional and work from his heart and delivers a high level of customer service. Thank you so much. I highly recommend your store .

Very thorough examination of my eyes and afterwards I picked the frames for my vari-focals. Masks still need to be worn and your temperature is taken upon arrival (1-8-2021). Staff were sanitising equipment / chairs / tills after every use and they also were wearing ppe equipment also as they take your health ( and theirs ) seriously. Very professional and thorough.

Big Thanks to Yas & Russell for their patience and time today, resulting in a perfect outcome. I contacted Specsavers this morning explaining that my glasses had broken and was looking for guidance about possible repairs they could offer as they were quite expensive and not that old? They gave me an appointment later that day. When I arrived I was greeted by the charming Yas who sat me down and listened to my tail of woe, and then tried to find a replacement part on line with no joy? She then asked Russell if there was anything he could do to help? Several draws were opened and rummaged through, then he spent a few minutes adjusting the new arms he'd fitted, along with new nose pads. My glasses were handed back to me in pristine condition, and the best part was when I asked how much I owed, I was told no charge as it was part of their free service and repair. Thanks again Yas and Russell, a credit to Specsavers Telford

Fantastic service. Calender messed up and I turned up a day earlier, it's been one of them years! I am personally far happier with the experience at Specsavers currently than I was pre-covid 19. Hygiene is excellent. There is no pressure to buy and no-one is allowed in to browse without an appointment. This means waiting times have been reduced, something I previously disliked. The new test is excellent and very detailed, so you can feel very confident that problems are prevented or detected quickly. I used to find I overheated in the store, but this is no longer a problem as it isn't crowded anymore. I will definitely be returning for regular tests and purchases.

I came in today on the off chance as I was getting problems with my glasses purchased elsewhere and getting an appointment to get them looked at was impossible. I met Andy who was working on his own in the second shop and asked. Without hesitation he sat me down and started working out the issue. He had my problems solved in under 10 minutes and he'd also given me a physics lesson on what the problem was, combined with a good laugh. My experience at Telford Specsavers recently was exceptional. I believe they have every measure in place with regards to COVID-19 being the local hygiene manager for Telford I am inspecting places daily for these measures and Telford specsavers ticks every box. The staff are fully aware and up to speed of how to manage the store in these times & my experience getting a test, choosing glasses & having glasses my fitted were perfect. I was first of all let into the store asked if I had any covid symptoms my temperature was taken & was asked to use the Sanitizer a lovely lady showed me to an area with seating the seats were socially distanced & everyone was wearing masks & aprons. All visitors were in masks too for maximum protection! I was shown to the test room I was worried about random headaches & my optician was extremely thorough showing me a scan of my my eyes & explaining anything I wanted to know! Then I chose my glasses every pair I picked up was then sanitised! Lots of choice a vast selection of glasses and sunglasses to suit any budget! I was then placed with Dan who was a lovely guy great sense of humour & calm & friendly we had a laugh a chat and chatted about glasses. I was then told the wait time & showed where to go for collection in a few weeks. I was phoned promptly to say they were ready then I went and collected nothing was too much trouble! Hands, space & face adhered to. Jack was professional throughout the test explaining everything he was doing and why. We left specsavers feeling confident that Jack had done a great job. Today I arrived for an eye test as I had spoken with Jack regarding my eyes in December he then booked me in for my test today was seen by the lovely Dina who went through everything and I again left feeling confident, Jack did my field vision test after I feel he is an asset to specsavers always professional and happy to answer anything you ask him.

My mission was to get a pair of reading glasses repaired and new lenses for another pair. The main issues for the day were the weather, how busy the Telford branch would be re-Covid, and lastly the cost. Nothing I can do about the weather but wrap up and dodge the torrential periods, and park as close to the entrance as possible. I approached the Telford branch at just after nine o’clock in the morning and it was surprisingly quiet, which was very welcome, the entrance to the store is locked but as soon as I stood in front of the store the door was opened and I was greeted by Henna, asked to use hand sanitizer and have my temperature checked, the store was quiet as well and felt very safe. The glasses requiring repair were given to Sam and whisked away to be repaired, Henna then dealt with my request for new reactive lenses for an existing pair of glasses, this was done with no drama, very efficiently and all my queries were answered, by the time these were ordered, which would take a week, my repaired glasses were dropped off by Sam. How much would all this cost, well I was pleasantly surprised, the lenses were below what I had expected and the repair was free. Enough waffling, the end line: Henna was very pleasant and polite, and extremely knowledgeable, Sam did a great job on the repair but we did not speak. The store was very clean, all the COVID related measures were in place which was very re-assuring, even down to marking which seats could be used and had been sanitised. As stated earlier, I paid much less than was expected, and the cost of each element had been broken down. Great job Specsavers Telford, and in particular Henna who dealt with me.

Excellent service from all staff, the names I have from my visit on Thursday 25.02.21 are Calum (only his 3rd week, did a great job), Henna & Josh. Well organised and executed covid procedures, I felt safe and well informed. All my questions were answered professionally without it feeling like I was talking to robots, it was nice to be in human company during lockdown. Also took the 1 hour wait option (1 set of my lenses were available) and came home a new pair of glasses! Appreciated the opportunity to try on the glasses during the lockdown restrictions as I wasn't sure that would be possible.

Anisa helped me pick them out last week, advising me on the best frame types for sunglasses tints, she was also very honest when trying them on which I appreciated! Today has been a really pleasant experience. Covid measurements are in place through the store, allowing you personal space when ever possible. You are met at the store door where your temperature is taken along with being asked if you had any Covid symptoms. You are then taken to the correct area of the store to wait to be met by your optician. Mine on the day was Osman who was very professional and made you feel welcome. Once the test was concluded I have been met by Henna who has talked me through picking a pair of glasses. This was made really easy and Henna gave me some valuable feedback on what glasses suited me. Specsavers has got the customer in mind and there staff at Telford are a credit to the company.

Changed my specsavers to one in telford and glad I did. If it wasnt for them I wouldn't have known I had glaucoma. Staff there are always pleasant. Before covid you could easily get an appointment within a few days but because of the situation you have to wait longer which is understandable. There is now two separate areas, one for eye test and trying on glasses etc...then there is a unit next door is where you pick up the glasses. Been using these guys for last 4 years and will carry on with my 12 month check up with them.

Before you get to your appt, you have a questionnaire to complete, an email confirmation and a phone call all confirming health check and Covid procedures. I arrived and was impressed at the Covid precautions by and large, however staff downstairs were using one wipe to clean three chairs. Check on your processes just in case. Staff were very kind, polite and courteous. Especially Callum and Yasmin. Both very happy and very helpful. My only comment is during pre visit checks, you could mention that clients may have to descend stairs, I have arthritis so that would have been useful to know before I got there.

One of the flexible arms snapped off my glasses, while I was out for a run. I needed the glasses for an event a few days later. I went to Specsavers, Telford to ask if they could be repaired. I spoke to Isabel, who together with Sim, managed to find a solution. By using the flexible arms from some children’s glasses, my glasses were fixed very quickly. A much better outcome than I expected. A brilliant service!!

Was seen by Vinny as an ad-hoc appointment, due to 30% reduction in vision in right eye, with some clouding. Vinny diagnosed a partially detached retina, and booked me in as an emergency at SRH Eye clinic. Was seen by an eye specialist who confirmed the diagnosis and booked me in for emergency eye surgery 2 days later. If it wasn't for Vinny's experience and diagnosis I dread to think what may have happened with my sight. Thanks Vinny.

Went in last week to have eye and contact test and it was running late, however Bav was very apologetic and gave such a great service that I didnt mind ( we all have days where we are short staffed or things are out of our control, its important not to penalise those who are doing their best to rectify it! ) Went in today to collect my new glasses and was graced with the lovely Heather. Not only was Heather professional in her service she was incredibly personable and made me feel like we had been friends forever! I swung by specsavers today (With perfect timing, as they were doing a 2 for 1 offer), as I needed a new pair of glasses. After I ran over my others, with my car! and they offered me a one hour service, where they can replace your glasses within the hour! my glasses where done before the hour was up and the service was amazing. I had my a free eye test here and received excellent service from all staff testing me and fitting glasses. Important to book an appointment as a busy store but well organized. They will do their best to fit you in and give an accurate waiting time. As store is in shopping centre lots of people calling in for enquiries and to browse. Provide a free hearing test service. I was very impressed. The only query I had was regarding whether I would be entitled to a home visit. I suspect I did qualify for a home visit but the lady on the telephone wasn't sure. Also my previous glasses were varifocals. My new glasses are just plain. I thought they had an offer on at the time but wasn't offered that.

I had an eye test that was Very thorough and staff were friendly. However I rated as 3 star cause service was good, nothing less than I would of expected, but then again nothing amazing. However to be phoned by specsavers to increase my rating to a 4 and be offered a bribed to increse(glass cleaning kit) . No I have my principles.... I will not be bought. Staff always very friendly and professional giving great customer service. On this occasion however, I had to wait over half hour for my glasses whilst other customers bypassed me to be served. When I did get my glasses, parts were missing despite being promised on ordering they would be there when I collected. A member of staff dropped the missing parts off direct to my home, so I didn't have to go back to collect which I appreciated.

Went to the Telford Town centre branch today and I must say there approach to covid was exceptional! The staff were checking people in making sure mask were 😷 worn where possible. The seats desks and equipment where being constantly cleaned as I sat waiting. Not only did I have Josh doing a very thorough examination but i also had an excellent explanation of what he found, which was very helpful considering my eyes seemed to need a lesser prescription. After experiencing flashing lights my doctor advised me to book an optician appointment ASAP, after leaving a message with Specsavers at around 11, they advised I would get a call back with an appointment, by 2 I was sitting in the chair being seen to by a very helpful gentleman called Vinay. Vinay found an abnormality in my left eye and immediately referred me to an Ophthalmologist, by 4:30 I was at Shrewsbury Hospital being seen to, I was subsequently diagnosed with a retinal skesis of the left eye. I'm very thankful to Vinay and the team, I called about 7 different opticians before fortunately getting this appointment which Vinay agreed to urgently book me in as a walk in appointment, regardless of the fact I haven't used Specsavers in many years. My right eye has very poor vision even with glasses and so heavily rely on my left eye, to say I'm grateful is an understatement. I'd recommend Specsavers to anyone and again want to thank the team for all their help, I'm forever in their debt.

I recently went to this opticians as recommended by a friend and was extremely pleased with the level of patient care and customer service. My last eyetest was at Boots 4 years ago which didn't turn out so well. I was impressed with the thoroughness of the eyetest this time including the retinal photograph which the optometrist discussed in a lot of depth as i had a birth mark at the back of my eye! this had never been discussed or picked up on previously! extremely satisfied with this store, definitely recommended, keep up the great standards!

Rang up Telford store for advice about eye condition. Staff couldn't have been more helpful. After taking some details over the phone - the friendly staff member asked me to send photos of my eyes (I used phone) - and then later the Senior Optometrist (Vinay Najran) rang me back to go through my history, symptoms and then gave a provisional diagnosis and suggested some eye drops. He was very thorough and gave good advice and helped reassure that the condition was not as serious as I thought. So a big thank you to the Telford team for excellent urgent care! Thanks to you all!
