Great customer service from Katie. Even though it said on her name badge she was training it felt like she had been there years. Really made me and my daughter feel welcome and katie was really interactive with my daughter about her glasses. 10 out of 10 for customer service 10 out of 10 for conversation 10 out of 10 for honest Definitely recommend Katie to everyone who visits this store.

Very thorough eye test and always willing to help with any difficulties that may crop up. Costs can ratchet up with all the extras though. Consider if they are necessary. You can take your prescription else where for other quotes.

Post my left eye Cataract Surgery in May 2022 managed brilliantly by Specsavers Wellington, today's appointment was to check how things were now with my eyes. Especially as I had some concerns about my near sight vision. All the staff at Specsavers Wellington are just marvellous, and they always greet you with a warm smile. All my testing today was conducted professionally by their highly motivated staff. But I would like to single out especially the Optometrist who took care of me today - Anchal - She is a lovely warm lady, highly professional with tons of enthusiasm. She was just Fantastic today, and assured me all was fine with my new left eye lens, and my total vision. My near sight was fine, and Anchal recommended I just get some quality Reading Glasses as i didn't need Verifocals as my distance vision was spot on So no more tests now until next year. It's now just over 4 months since my Cataract surgery, and with Specsavers taking very good care of me from Start to Finish, I have no issues at all. In fact my eyesight for distance is now better than perfect :) Specsavers Wellington, Telford for me and my wife Karen are the very best Opticians in the UK. They are often a busy practice/shop, but they do not keep you waiting very long. Thank you once again Anchal and all the staff at Specsavers Wellington. All the very best to you all. All the staff at Specsavers Wellington were just marvellous, and I was always greeted with a warm smile. All my testing was conducted professionally by the highly trained staff. But I would like to single out especially the Optometrists - These two warm natured gentlemen, professionally and with enthusiasm, managed with transparency my pre to post Cateract process, surgery and testing. They were simply Fantastic. A sincere thank you for making it happen in just 3 months Feb2022 - May2022. It's now 6 weeks since my Cataract surgery, and I have no issues at all. In fact my eyesight for distance is now better than perfect :) Specsavers Wellington, Telford are for me the very best Opticians in the UK. Thank you once again. Don’t normally do reviews but they were great. Got a pair of glasses in under 1 hour as broke my only pair. Rachel helped me pick out some Lovely new pairs. All staff very friendly . Would defiantly us this branch again . Brilliant service from all at wellington branch 🤩

I was having problems with my eyes big problems (floaters) went in to ask for some info on it. Lady at the front (sorry forgot your name) booked me in there and then had a test done and the optician spent about 20 min looking at my eye and she found a small hole in my eye she got on the phone to the hospital rushed it though got me in at Shrewsbury and had lazer eye surgery to fix the hole with in 2 hrs of going in to specsavers - Can not thank you enough for that you did not give up looking for that hole in my eye top store top staff

I've always received a high level of service from the staff. I also recently required their services when I made my glasses available for my dog to step on, I visited spec savers where they sorted my broken glasses within 10 mins, and even though I had explained that I had broken my glasses, all my fault, I was not charged a penny. Can't moan at all, thank you guys :)

Fantastic experience, couldn't have asked for more. Called Monday morning for an appointment for my daughter as she was getting headaches, was able to get a cancellation for 2pm that same day. Laurie, Mawdud and Lisa all put Mollie at ease , as this was her first time.she was a little nervous. The glasses were rushed through and by Tuesday evening they were on Mollies nose. 5* service

Everyone was nice, polite and then I was introduced to my optician Mawdud Hussain (Mo), What a wonderful, well informed and courteous young man. He answered all my questions with precise detail and advised me neutrally on my eye requirements. I've become quite cynical as i have got older and found too many so called professionals...Unprofessional. He was a breathe of fresh air and renewed my views on people. I will be swapping my children to Specsavers from their current supplier from the next visit. Well done Mo and team, keep it up.

Absolutely brilliant service! We had some issues with my mum glasses,first time just wasnt quite right. We went back ... they did all the tests again. Speacial thank you for dr. M. Hussain,he is a real asset to your company. Extremely helpful, took his time to check and explain every option and possibility to my mum. He was super pation and very professional. Can't thank him enough. We just got the new glasses again and my mum is super happy with the result. Thank you

Needed repair to both pairs of my glasses .Contacted the store and explained, they made the process very easy...asked for emailed photos so they could check they could repair and both pairs fixed next day within 10 minutes. All this during lockdown so I am extremely grateful. The staff that dealt with me on phone and in the store were very helpful and friendly

Very good my glasses didn't work very well they were varyfocals but they kept slipping off my nose which rendered them useless I had to completely change my glasses at no cost to myself very helpful staff too and their safety measures are extremely good I felt very safe inside the shop

Such a great Opticians. My Husband couldn't get used to his new varifocal glasses, so Specsavers put ordinary single vision lenses in for free & then gave him a huge refund for the difference in the cost. Thank you Jack

The eye examinations are carried out by extremely competent staff using up-to-date equipment. However, all this comes at a price, and that is paid for by the cost of spectacles and any lens or treatment that is not the very basic. There are far cheaper alternatives for the supply of lens and frames than Specsavers despite what they say in their advertising blurb.
