Spec Savers are a great outfit that provides Great world class services for eye care. The staff are welcoming, friendly and very helpful. I love their range of glasses and the various promos they provide from time to time. The consultations and scheduled tests are all covered by the NHS if you're registered with the NHS. But you have to pay for medications and glasses. Still value for money in all honesty.

I felt i had to leave a review/rating as it was my first time visiting the opticians for an eye test & i must say what absolutely fantastic staff they have here. From the initial eye examination to spectacle choice & fitting i felt like a priority & nothing was too much trouble. Probably the best service i have experienced in many years. I had to go to Truro instead of my local branch at St Austell because of lack of appointments. I was treated extremely well. the eye test was excellent and the gentleman who dealt with me was lovely. The lady who helped me with new frames and sizing for varifocals etc. was just lovely. really friendly and funny and when I went back to collect them I got the same treatment. Highly recommended

Just been today for an eye test and everyone there was gorgeous and so helpful! I’ve never received such amazing customer service before EVER. They were completely safe, social distancing and making antibacterial hand gel available literally everywhere. The optician was lovely and was even mindful of not messing up my makeup 😂 lovely ladies and I’ll be coming back to this store again for sure, even if it’s not my closest. Thank you so much 😊

Upon visiting Cornwall for a week from Kent I arrived only to discover I’d left my contact lenses and glasses at home. In a panic I googled the nearest Specsavers and went into the store. It was a Sunday so I was happy to find the branch open and times of opening were listed correctly on their website. When I arrived a helpful assistant immediately greeted me, she passed my query over to Mike and I have to say he was amazing! I think he could sense I was anxious to sort the problem, he was very relaxed and reliably went about looking up my details on the database and ultimately resolved my problem by sourcing the correct lenses for me. I would like to say a big thank you to Mike and his colleague who were brilliant that day!! Fantastic customer service skills and knowledge.

Even though there is a Specsavers branch in Bodmin I've always used the Truro one. Been going over past 15 years at least. Always found the eye test easy to book. Staff really friendly and helpful. Just been in yesterday. Saturday 2nd October for eye test. Needed new lenses as left eye is slightly worse. Bought new glasses on the BOGOF deal. Did struggle to find frames I liked this time. The styles and colours never seen to be varried enough. Overall pleased with the ones I went for. Very busy in store but staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend to everyone.

Bit of a wait, which, although the seats were spaces apart, made me feel uncomfortable and a bit jittery, especially when the bloke opposite me pulled his mask down to cough, and pulled it under his chin when someone spoke to him! Felt quite claustrophobic until i got into the rooms for required tests. Everything was well sanitised, and every care taken to ensure glasses tried were taken for cleaning too. The staff are absolutely brilliant, nothing was too much trouble. Truro are the best specsavers without a doubt.

My 6 year old daughter had an appointment today and a woman named Kit did her pre assessment and she was absolutely wonderful. She interacted with my daughter beautiful and really put her at ease. It was such fantastic customer service that I felt the need to a review. Friendly staff are quick to serve you and happy to help. Waiting times are absolutely minimal and the service is incredible from all members of staff. The range of glasses is varied and has something for every face shape at every price point. I would happily and confidently recommend SpecSavers in Truro.

They are always busy and that means you could be waiting a few minutes to be seen. Most of the testing is done upstairs so if you can't do stairs--let them know. I have seen two different opticians and both were lovely, did very thorough tests and explained everything clearly. I am happy to recommend them.

The waiting for my eye test was a tad excessive, but the lovley lady helping me with my glasses at the end was incredibly helpful, she was the one with the really nice cathkidson glasses, she made the store.

You can still book an eye test appointment online or call the local branch. They have a safe covid practice in place where everything is wiped clean beforehand and afterwards between appointments. Staff in Truro are very friendly and helpful and very polite.

My partner went in for an eye test, he'd been suffering terrible migraines and thought his eye sight was linked. The staff at Specsavers were amazing. On our way he had come down with a migraine and they held his slot to allow him time to recover, offered him water and to sit in a dark room. They were so kind and friendly! As well being really helpful and getting his new glasses sorted.

Excellent service provided by this branch. Went in for a hearing test and Audiologist Nichola was thoroughly helpful, considerate and knowledgeable. She gave me the information that I needed and the video Otoscopy was an extremely helpful test/service which puts you above other competitors. Would recommend this branch to anyone who needs to have a basic hearing test.

A Specsavers franchise located in the city of Truro in Cornwall, like most Specsavers branches, they offer all sorts of eyecare and hearcare services but this branch in particular is complimented with a group of friendly, approachable and professional staff.
