Such a great experience - safe, quick and effective... They are still taking care re Covid (it has not gone!) I was seen exactly one time and there was no faffing.. Having both parents with eye issues I normally dread spending ages being seen. Not this time, he was more than competent.

Great service when I wanted to get sunglasses made to my existing varifocal prescription - I was offered plenty of options, but no-one tried to ‘up-sell’ when I went for the basic package. The range of frames was good, the turnaround on getting the glasses made, and the optometrist altered the frames on my clear glasses for a better fit.

I went in two weeks ago to have the arm of my daughter's glasses fixed; it took one of the employees 15 minutes and still no success, so they called a very helpful employee named Mehdi; it took him two minutes. He's extremely helpful and professional. I went in today to have the frame of my glasses repaired; it took him 3 minutes, and he made sure they were perfectly adjusted to my size. An excellent example of a perfect employee.

I dropped my reading glasses 2 weeks ago and accidentally stepped on it, the lenses are fine but the frame was bent. Popped in this morning to get it fixed. I've been using Specsavers for over 20 years now. They were in Charter Place then, in a much smaller premises. As is usual I can only praise the prices, quality and great staff. Tracey deserves a special mention as she goes above and beyond in her help and caring for the customers

Booking appointment online was easy and efficient. When arrived temperature taken and plenty of hand sanitizer available. Staff were helpful, especially when choosing new glasses frame and with advice. All in all a good experience. Only reason not given 5 stars is, that while waiting to enter the shop when picking glasses up, I was asked to stand to the side of the door which was organised for people leaving the store and keeping apart from people leaving was a little bit awkward during this pandemic and only blot.

I am so pleased to have tried specsavers after years I've been with visionexpress which they are more expensive and staff less enthusiast. I've been welcome by a lovely lady short hair wearing glasses and had eye test from 2 young girls 1 brunette and 1 blonde , I was very surprised by their professionalism and friendly way . At the end I've been assisted by Sujata who was brilliant, very patient and wonderful , she helped me finding the right frame for my new glasses and got me the best deal !. Busy, you are supposed to go yo reception first which doesn't appear to be well supported. Otherwise service great friendly knowledgeable staff without being too techy. Explained options clearly. Easy to book a slot but not if you need a double slot for children. Central location, parking available in nearby multi-storey car parks.

I went there with one of my friends as he is a chauffeur and recently was having problems seeing from distance and very often was dizzy etc We arrange an appointment and as soon we got there we’ve been treated so professional the Dr done the check as we had the results went in the shop choose the glasses and within 3 working days they called us to pick it up. I only visit Watford town centre occasionally but while there a nose bridge support came loose on my Specsavers glasses so I visited the shop in the High Street. Initial impressions were good but I was told at reception there was about a 20 minute wait and I could see they were busy. I waited patiently in the waiting area, no members of staff spoke to me for about 25 mins until my name was called. The assistant fixed my glasses in about 1 minute and returned them to me. The service would have been better if someone had spoken to me during my 25 minute wait in the waiting area. Date of visit 23/08/19.

A decent Specsavers, with effective customer service. Their contact lens service is less friendly, but still does the job. Great specials as all Specsavers have, but deviating from them can become a bit pricy. If you go on the weekend, be mindful there might be a bit of a wait but I've never been turned away without an appointment.

Had a weirdly blood shot eye. Called Specsavers Watford and they arranged for me to have an appointment with an optician within an hour. The service was excellent. Polite, professional and sympathetic and although they offered new glasses to me, they didn't push one bit. As good a service as any clinical provider I have experienced.

Visited here to view potential frames for new spectacles. Unfortunately there wasn't much in the style I like and in my price range. However there is a wide selection and staff are happy to give help/opinions when asked. Not all offers are well advertised so always ask. Quotes are available too. The only negative is that it will take at least a week to get your specs.

Bass's knowledge and experience really shone through; he was so down to earth made her feel comfortable yet he was like this with all customers! Thank you also to Manpreet the optometrist for her time and care in ensuring my aunt was looked after, including all tests performed...My aunt left Specsavers delighted with the service. Excellent! I have been going here for eye tests and my prescription eyeglasses for 10 years. MD Mr Sham is very competent, patient, professional and provides outstanding leadership to his staff. My eyeglasses prescription was done by Tomasila, a competent optometrist who is very thorough, polite, professional. In a world where service is mediocre to abysmally bad, this Optitians has been consistent in giving their customers excellent service with a smile and the most caring attention. Staff are helpful in getting the right frames for my face shape.

RE: VERY HAPPY CUSTOMER AT SPECSAVERS WATFORD BRANCH To Whom it may concern, I have been a customer of Specsavers at Watford for many years since I was first told I would need to wear glasses in order to read properly. Due to the fact that I am also a Diabetic it was important for me to initially attend on an annual basis and eventually now days only once every two years. Over the years I have always been highly impressed by the excellent service which has in turn commanded my loyalty as a happy customer. However, earlier today Monday 24th of April 2017 I was in urgent need of some new glasses so attended an appointment that I was easily able to arrange by telephone and experienced something rather special which I feel I must write to commend all those involved for a truly exceptional experience details of which are as follows: On arrival at the store I was greeted in a very friendly and courteous way by a lady at reception who kindly directed me to where I needed to go for my appointment. In a matter of minutes I was approached by an equally friendly and professional lady who took my details and went onto make me feel welcome. A very short time after that a quite excellent and extremely sympathetic lady invited me for my initial test for pressures on my eyes (Such an experience that I have had on numerous occasions in the past always fills me with dread) but despite this was made to feel both comfortable and stress free during the testing. With only a two minute wait I was then introduced to my optician for the day by the name of “Mr. Ali Hashim” who was without doubt the best optician I have ever met, his knowledge, empathy, ability to provide an informative consultation by providing information in a concise and accurate way whilst also translating what I am sure is both medically technical and demanding to learn about to say the very least into plain speaking layman’s terms/ language was quite outstanding. His friendly demeanour and superb customer service skills overall are of a standard I have never experienced in my life until today and for that reason in particular I had to write this commendation for the big wide world to see. Later I was escorted to the next stage to be introduced to “Sujata” to decide which new glasses frames to select. I have had numerous dealings with “Sujata” over past years and she has always been friendly, professional, knowledgeable and extremely helpful and of course today was no different. In a modern world that pays lip service only to how much we care it was truly excellent to be reminded that in some cases some organisations and some people really do care and are quite excellent in every respect you could ever hope for as a customer. I hope this information is useful to the many hard working people employed at Specsavers and equally to anybody trying to decide about who they should consider as a premium provider of a fantastic service and product and become a valued and lucky customer in the future.
