Weston Opticians is, without a doubt, the best optician I have been to. They offer excellent service and the staff are professional, extremely kind and welcoming. The eye examination was conducted with precision, professionalism and utmost care. The optometrist was thorough, attentive and went above and beyond, when she explained to me, step by step, what she was doing, why she was doing it and what it meant for me. I appreciated this immensely and, in fact, enjoyed the eye test. In addition to this, I had a contact lens consultation and, as this was my first experience with contact lenses, it took time for me to get a hang of them, nonetheless, I was only faced with patience, care and kindness. I was offered valuable advice, guidance and received first class service. I would also like to point out that they have a wide selection of excellent quality glasses, all at a great value, and delivery times are kept, never delayed. Having had a less than satisfactory service at Specsavers, going to Weston Opticians would be one of the best choices I have made. I would like to thank the team for their great work and efforts, I could not say how much I appreciate it. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS OPTICIAN!!!

I had a great experience at Weston Opticians. From the first visit they listened to my concerns and were very thorough with the eye tests. Also they were happy to reglaze my frames, which were just 1 year old (prior, mainstream optician did not do a great job with the lenses I'm afraid) without pushing me to choose new frames. I recently had the misfortune to break my only pair of driving glasses, and was struggling to find an Optician to make me up a pair, to prescription spec. All the usual leading high street stores were quoting 10-14 days!! Then I found Weston😎. An independent, family run business in Watford, and on the High Street. I called in and the Service was incredible, They actually made me up a pair of glasses, In a lovely new frame, in less than 2 hours👍. And at a very affordable price. I've since been back and had another pair of sunglasses made. Don't bother with these over priced High Street chains, go to Weston where nothing is too much trouble. You won't be disappointed 👌

I was most impressed by the service I received from Weston Opticians. At my appt a few months ago for new varifocals I was given an extensive eye test, and there was a large range of frames to choose from. When my new glasses arrived great care and attention was given to ensure the vision was correct and that the frames fitted properly both with my main and spare pairs. I recently visited Weston again as I had developed an uncomfortable eye condition. I was given a comprehensive eye examination and a diagnosis. The Optician gave me some excellent eye care advice and recommened a course of drops ointment, which are proving to be very effectiive. Top marks to Weston for the professional and friendly service, all-round splendid customer care!

Honestly one of the friendliest and flexible opticians I've ever had a pleasure to meet. They ordered me perfect frames all the way from Italy. 👍 Definitely recommend!

I had an eye test and bought two new frames from Weston earlier this year. I had been looking for a new independent optician for some time. The eye examination was very thorough and the optometrist was excellent. I selected the frames with the help of their dispensing optician who was also excellent. Very happy with my frames 8 months on. Need to visit them again to get some contact lenses and I will continue to visit for future eye check ups and frames. Definitely 5 star service.

I had very good experience with this optician. They will go above and beyond to fulfil your query. Obviously, what Specsavers next door refuse Weston Opticians will do, for them no problem at all. They haven't refused any of my queries and some of them were bespoke. Can only recommend this optician. They always have an appointment for you. They keep the delivery time. You will get an email or a phone call once your order is ready.

Weston Opticians in Watford are very friendly and helpful. The eye examinations that I have had over the past few months have been very thorough and in depth. They recommended that I have my cataracts done and referred me to the NHS and I have now had both eyes done. The follow up examinations also tested for glaucoma which showed that I did not have it. I went into Weston Opticians last week with my Tiffany sunglasses that needed the temple repaired as my toddler had pulled them outwards while trying to wear them. I had never been to Weston before but thought I would try them before going to Tiffany in Bond Street due to the proximity. I have also only ever heard good things about Weston from colleagues. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, helpful and, most importantly, they did the job perfectly and swiftly. I have found my local optician!

I was having issues with my reading specs and was recommended to go to Weston who looked after me very professionally and sorted out my issues to the extent that even when my new verifocals were not comfortable (due to no fault of theirs!...I just could not get used to them) they redid the lens. I have recently bought a pair of glasses from Weston opticians and my experience has been nothing short of amazing. I have historically gone with the mainstream providers and was weary about using an independent firm as I get very anxious about my eyes and am irritatingly fussy. The customer service is outstanding and the staff can never do enough to help - I have never felt in better hands! The staff are very attentive to your needs, and the service is refreshingly personal which is so difficult to find in a world where a quick sale is everything. Wow, what a treat! From the minute I walked in, everyone was very friendly and helpful. They told me how long my prescription would take to fill and explained all the lens options available to me. The choice of frames is varied in both style and price and I was encouraged to try as many pairs as I liked until I found the right ones for me. Lo and behold, my glasses were ready when they told me they would be and they were instantly perfect; no alterations necessary. After disappointing experiences with all the major high street chain opticians over the last twenty odd years, I'm so grateful to have found a good old fashioned opticians who knows what they are doing.

More than an excellent service! This shop was recommended by a Watford friend who used them before. You can hardly find a shop with helpful and caring staff anymore, but you can be assured that this is the one for you. We used to go to the chain stores, like Boots and Vision Express, but their service is nowhere near this one. More importantly the optician provides excellent advice and precise eye test results! I can honestly say what a brilliant and professional service I received from Weston Opticians. I went to Westons having had a less than satisfactory service from Specsavers where I had an eye test and was cattle herded through the showroom to choose frames. I came away with none, feeling completely underwhelmed with the whole process. I took Specsavers prescription into Westons and what a completely different level of service. I was allowed to browse frames at my leisure and when I need advice, was considerately guided through the process. In the end I had to have my eyes re-tested as the prescription from Specsavers was not right. Westons re made my glasses without any fuss or hesitation. I am not generally one for writing recommendations but was so delighted by the way I had been treated and the first class service received that I felt compelled to write one.

During lockdown and observing social distancing, Piush came and collected my broken-prescription sun glasses, put my lenses into a new frame and returned back to me within 1.5 hours all at a very reasonable cost. Came back after a few years and am so glad that I came back. Unlike a lot of the mainstream Opticians I never felt rushed here and this place takes the time to check and look after your eyes. I was able to have an eye test and contact lens appointment on the same day as well. Weston Opticians were the first Opticians to tell me that I had dry eyes and gave me good advice about how to care for my dry eyes. Will definitely go back.

After a phone consultation with our GP, we went in to have a corneal abrasion checked. Most opticians were fully booked for a week in advance, but Piyush managed to fit us in as it was urgent. When we arrived, they were quite warm and highly professional. Followed the COVID restrictions and made us feel safe with sanitisers and masks too. We are attended to promptly, and during the consultation, they patiently provided us with plenty of advice. To top it all, they waived their fee as they felt the GP had already provided the necessary eye drops.

I have just used them for the first time after my mum recommended them to me and i would recommend them to anyone. They do such a thorough job, she even noticed a birthmark on my retina that no other optician had noticed. I even had the option to have a scan done of my eyes (for extra) to make sure this birthmark is nothing suspicious. They are not pushy like the other high street opticians i have used and don't try to force you to renew your frames after only 18 months after spending £800 on a full set. The optician here said "Your eyes have changed but i don't think you need to change your glasses just yet." I cannot speak more highly of them, easily the best in Watford. I wish I had more experience of opticians outside of Watford to say that they are the best further afield but I don't.

Having recently visited Weston Opticians for an eye test for my daughter and myself, I found them to be extremely professional and helpful. The detailed , comprehensive eye examinations were carried out very proficiently and with patience by Harsha. Harsha engaged and communicated with my 4 year old daughter at her level and achieved the compliance needed to carry out an in-depth eye examination. This very positive experience also complemented the importance of looking after our eyes to my young daughter. A wealth of knowledge and experience in Optometry was evident when an equally detailed and Complete examination of my eyes was carried out and my questions regarding the health of my eyes were answered in depth. There was no hard sales speech - in fact I was told that long distance eyesight had improved and there was absolutely no pressure to purchase new frames. This honesty coupled with the information given to make a well informed decision is what I truly value. Piush and Tom are wonderful members of the Team. Right from booking the appointment, to changing the lenses in my glasses( which one pair was done there and then) and to receiving them, the service received was impeccable and faultless. Weston Opticians has an amazing selection of frames in the various types of glasses available and the staff are always at hand to help you make the correct selection. They have a good range in children’s glasses which made my little girl very happy as she got her favorite Disney Sunglasses and I treated myself to a new pair of Maui Jim’s. I would recommend this practice to all especially if you are looking for a detailed, comprehensive , professional service which is not target driven and has the interests of its customers at its heart. Rearly good, have varifocal glasses from them, mid spec. I have used varifocals for 25 years from 5 different optitions. Always with problems, and never perfect, until now. Westons do it differently, performing all adjustments before, rather than after the glasses are fitted with your lenses, and measure all the new angles that have been created during fitting, and adding this into the specification. More work for them as further adjustment could be required, but was not, for me. So much better than Specsavers, which have given me years of unsatisfactory glasses, i have a draw full of there fails. I also ended up with a significantly smaller bill.

The personal service I have received at Weston’s has been second to none. The eye problem I have has been complex to deal with, and has required many appointments over the last 9 months to refine my prescriptions. Throughout this I’ve felt that the entire team at Weston’s have truly been on the journey with me, and have seemed genuinely committed to helping me achieve the best possible outcome. Even outside of the scheduled appointments, Harsha has been there to provide support and advice by phone or email – sometimes well outside of normal working hours. I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have had same experience had I gone to Specsavers or one of the other high street chains!

I have discovered this store today and decided to have a look around. After an unsuccessful trip around other optician retailers who wanted to overcharge me, at this shop i walked in and immediately found multiple pairs of budget glasses that look and feel great. I had a quick look around and walked out with a pair that very day. Very friendly workers that gave me plenty of time to pick my favourite pair and provided me with needed information. This is a truly one of a kind opticians shop!

Weston is a rare gem: an independent practice that offers keen prices and wide choice, as well as the individual attention that is the hallmark of the best independents. They offer the best clinical care I’ve seen in 35 years, and eschew the “hard sell” so common these days, so I can make an informed choice on all my optical needs. You don’t know what you’re missing until you try them!

All of the staff are professional, courteous and take the time to ensure you get exactly what you need. They are also excellent with young children, which is a blessing, as they picked up a problem with one of my children that a well known chain did not. Highly recommended.

Harsha and Piush are really wonderful and professional. Harsha has gone above and beyond looking after my Mums eyecare needs. Calling to see how she was doing after her cataract procedure. Highly skilled staff lead with passion and experience, after my visit my eye health was investigated by the most up to date and state of art equipment handled by a professional. The results were communicated to me in a way I could understand. The attention to detail was appreciated. Advice on the huge selection of frames, lenses and coatings were given to me without any form of "hard sell" the pro's and con's were described and it was my choice what to go for. Those of you out there that want a no rush high quality service need to come here. My eye health is a big deal to me and I would trust Weston to look after my asset. I visited Westons recently in with a view to buying some new spectacles as I couldn't find any where I usually shopped. I was extremely impressed by the quick, friendly service which made me feel really at ease. I immediately found two pairs of spectacle frames I liked and quoted a price for both pairs - which was less than one pair elsewhere! This price included anti reflective lenses. There was no pressure to decide there and then and I was able to go away and think on the price. When I returned a few days later one frame had been sold but I soon found another which I liked. I was advised one pair would be available in an hr and the second in a few days as they needed to order a second set of lenses. When I collected my first pair I was amazed how crystal clear the vision was. I collected the second set a few days later after work and again was met with welcoming, friendly customer service. Unfortunately when the lady helping me was adjusting my frames the lens chipped at the edge. The chip was so small I didn't notice it however she insisted she would order a new lens in and replace it. In the meantime I was able to wear the spectacles with no problems and didn't notice the chip. When the replacement lens came she phoned me up and I took my frames in. I was advised it would take about 1hr to replace the lens, however about 20mins later just as I was sitting down with a coffee I received a phone call to say they were ready. Again when I collected them the service was friendly and welcoming. I will definitely be visiting them more. I cannot recommend Westons highly enough.
