Love the choice of frames but unfortunately my first prescription was in correct and when it was corrected I’d lost one of the first frames chosen and had to quickly choose another. I didn’t really like this so have since bought another at my own expense. Next time I have a problem with glasses bought anywhere, I’ll make sure that my astigmatism has been taken into account

Lost a star only because they seem to over book and have you wait an age rather than taking on a realistic amount of appointments. However staff are friendly and thorough as a carer I take many children here throughout the year and they always treat them and myself with compassion and courtesy

wanted to write a review as I was really impressed with the customer service. called up last week asking for my prescription as I had broken my glasses and needed a replacement. they weren't able to give me the prescription over the phone but sent it out first class with a hand written note! thank you so much! just made an order with you online for 2 new pairs. also lead me back to 2019 when I had my eyes tested and they were super helpful, quick and efficient!

Staff is unhelpful. Late in a traffic for 10 minutes. The staff is not willing to carry on the appointment. This has been revolved by a store manager and be able to have an eye test done as scheduled.

I have been going to the Specsavers store on Woking for years but this was my first visit in their new location inside the Wolsey Place. The store is well placed for access from the Peacocks Car Park (yellow zone, I believe) and has so much space inside. Everything is modern and the atmosphere is relaxed. All of the staff, from the opticians through to the front-house staff were friendly, helpful and approachable. I felt safe with all of the covid steps they had in place. I also felt informed and cared for with my eye test and contact lense appointment. I would have recommended Specsavers prior to this visit and this store has improved even more since my last visit.

abseloutely incredible staff and extremely efficient, I booked my appointment in the morning and when I went the same day i was in and out within 30 minutes after having multiple eye scans, choosing glasses and discussing contact lenses ect. as a biology student I was asking lots of questions about the equipment and how they worked and the staff were very knowledgeable and happy to answer any questions i had. usually with these things I expect to have to wait around for ages but there was none of that here. very impressed

3 stars, for pricing and uncertainty, not highly recommended for employment, especially if you go here as a customer. No 4th star due to the amount of catching up I had to do within the recruitment process, they were poor at getting back to me when I know the store and their colleagues know and do call to check up on customers to confirm attendance for appointments. I had a rather fun, chilled out, educational and good experience with interview and trial run but didn't make the cut and i'm very unsure why as i'm not sure what they're looking for and its a rather small chance to get a trial and be turned away without anything to go off. I feel awkward going to use specsavers anymore as I have previously applied multiple times but this confusing failed job trial run has me not believing the best of there customer service or at least not being open and honest. It hurts to be left in the dark with something that I could put my heart and soul into and I'm not afraid to let them know that.

Lovely friendly team. Went in a couple of weeks ago, didn't have an appointment but just needed some advice, the lady was very helpful, gave me plenty of time so was able to discuss issue fully. Also went in today for my daughter for contact lenses and glasses appointment, contact lens specialist was great, answered all my questions. Had to wait for glasses check but the assistant kept checking on us and apologised as they were running a little late. And then the assistant Patrick was amazing today, helping with choosing the new frames. Super friendly and helpful staff.

Specsavers was clean, tidy and easily accessible. The staff were kind and diligent. They worked fast to achieve the best results. This is not a cheap store. We went for my husband who bought a pair of glasses and a pair of sunglasses. It cost him in excess of £300! Also, we were told that they glasses would be ready the weekend after. They were not. In fact at 10+ days we were still waiting. I was so impressed by the safety measures that have been put in place around town. Every part was clearly marked. It adhered to the 2m social distancing as well as having a one way system and clear markings and signs everywhere. We have always found the area very accessible and a lovely place to visit. I have two young children who I take with me and I have never had a problem getting them out and about in this area. There are nice, safe spaces for them to walk and parking suitable to our needs. There are toilet facilities located nearby and it is always nice and clean. We have never had an issue with the cleanliness of the facilities. There are benches all around so you can relax and admire the view. Several of the benches in town are ornate in themselves, so they are lovely to sit on. There is a public car park in the main shopping center, which makes it much easier to visit. There are not many shops open at the moment and those that are open are opening later than usual. But all shops appear to be following the government guidelines very nicely too.

Fantastic experience I had today at spec savers. I recently failed the registration plate on my first driving lesson and I was referred to here I was very impressed with the free eye test and the excellent salesman helped me out with finding the right pair of glasses for me. Very happy and will certainly come again five stars 🌟 Not to mention the prices are amazing!

Booked especially as they offer the OCT health scan at this store which is only £10, and I got both of my check ups and my new glasses all for FREE on their contact lens scheme!! Went to Specsavers for my eye test and was greeted by a very welcoming team, I was offered the OCT service which I took up at a charge of £10, very detailed 3D health scan that I had shown to me and professionally explained by my optician. This really enhanced my experience and would highly recommend the additional service. Got 2 pairs of designer glasses on 2 for 1. Hi I posted on here the other day but it hasn’t appeared. I will post it again. It isn’t all bad It started out fine. Appointment was reasonable time. The test was excellent. A few questions I had were answered quickly and completely. Picking frames, measuring the varifocals etc was fine as well. Only when I came to my collection appointment was there a problem. I phoned to change the appointment from Friday. A lovely lady said I could have Thursday instead. Great. When I got there the woman who served me would obviously rather have been doing something else. Pointed out that I should have been there Friday. “Try this pair on and I will look behind your ears. Try the other pair and I will look behind your ears. That’s fine , thank you goodbye. “ But I don’t like them, they don’t look the right colour. “Oh they will be fine when you get outside. Thank you goodbye “ Ruined the whole experience and I must bring them back in. Hope someone else is there. And I had to come back and get a different case that fitted the glasses. Just been back to have them checked and refitted by a lovely gentleman who couldn’t have been more helpful. Saw the other lady who wasn’t wearing a badge so don’t know who she is, or care. Maybe you should get her to go and work in Vision Express 😉😉

The team at the Woking branch are absolutely amazing. The whole process went so smoothly, from getting my eyes tested on Monday night, then going back yesterday morning to pick out glasses (even though it took two team members and three hours to help with my pickiness and indecisiveness haha) Iqbal was especially amazing, super chatty, up for a laugh and helpful, guiding myself and sister through the whole experience and ensuring that we were comfortable and 100% happy from when we entered and left the building and I'm so happy and grateful to have been served by him. Visited Specsavers Opticians Woking at the end of lockdown for a routine eye test. All the social distancing procedures were in place. The woman who did my eye test was fantastic. Quick and efficient and answered all my questions. Afterwards i selected my glasses, and felt a bit under pressure from an assistant, wanting me to spend more than i could afford, despite me saying three times i couldn't afford the prices she was quoting. So i left feeling annoyed.

This optician has the largest share of the optician’s business in Woking. This is based on my observations. It is always filled with customers no matter what time it is. The other Woking opticians are not always busy. The amazing thing is that the service is excellent. The staff are very professional, attentive and thorough. This location has very good feng shui.

Been again and the customer service is much better and informative. However, my prescription order has been delayed for some reason.. And i would have thought it would be prioritised since the prescription changed quite a lot... Disappointing

I've been going to Specsavers for ...possibly 10 years, and nothing is too much trouble. Staff are knowledgeable, thorough, reassuring, accomodating (where they can be) professional and kindly. I have always felt looked after and their testing is rigorous and of the highest standards. I have reading glasses...and driving glasses (which I choose to be tinted) Woking Specsavers is not the nearest branch to my home, by far, but the reviews re the two closest branches do not fill me with confidence (and I have been inside and seen how disorganised they really are). May I make clear that I do not know anyone personally at Woking Specsavers...they just make you feel as if you alone matter no matter how busy they are and nothing is too much trouble re aftercare...adjustments, re-alignment (after I sat on them) I'm pleased to highly recommend this branch. Highly recommended.
