Handy civic amenity site on the outskirts of Aberystwyth. Currently they are running a system of even registered number plates vehicle on even (I.e. 60 plate) dates of the month & odd number plates of odd (i.e. 61 plate) dates of the month.

Well organised and clear directions to plan your visit and avoid lugging heavy stuff too far.

Well managed, queues can be a bit annoying but the 2 car limit because of covid is to blame there. Remember you can only visit if the date matches the even/odd of your number plate. So if you have a 17 plate car, you can only use the tip on 1,3,5th of the month etc. No twin axle trailers or vans more than 2t GWT either.

Staff are great, but it's often very busy and opening times aren't really useful for folk working office hours. Even one late night per week would help. Edit: In response to response from owner. 10:00-15:00 at weekends isn't much help. There's often huge queues and long waits. I'd guess because folk who work 9-5 can only come at the weekend.

30 minutes wait to enter at 9 in the morning when it opens. Only 3 vehicles allowed in at a time, I think that could be I increased now as it is all outside.

I like these guys. But if you don't have a car and need to hire, hire a car, not a van! D'oh! If you have a small amount, you'll get away with parking round the corner and walking the stuff in.
