We have had Gus do our yearly service for a few years now. He is always very polite, professional and efficient. What I like the most is that he doesn't patronise me as a woman but shows me as he is explaining what to do. He explained everything to me in detail and even showed me how to turn the gas off from the mains if I was ever worried about a leak. Have been using these guys for several years now and have been very reliable. They keep to the appointment time and the engineer always seems to be very knowledgable and able to diagnose the problem promptly and fix it at a reasonable price. My old boiler broke down last month. Contacted Rene and because the parts are obsolete so I was recommended new boiler. Got a quote quickly and the engineer came next day to fit it. Very happy I chose this company.

I had a visit from their engineer gus rescently. We had a leaking seal which left us with no heating and concerns relating to leaking gas.They immediately ordered the part and 3 days later I have received full service and I'm happy to have a non leaking boiler in a warm house. I recently had an issue with my boiler, there was no hot water heating or heating around the house. The old boiler needed to be replaced with a newer one and I was informed of the process and the steps to be taken which really helped as I don't have much knowledge on boilers. Thanks to a quick response and what looked like a lot of hard work I now have hot water and a warm home. I was even contacted some days later just to check that everything was working fine. Great customer service and a terrific job 5 stars would definitely recommend.

Boiler stopped working no heating or hot water, needed and emergency plumber late in the evening asap because my elderly mother is staying with us at the moment. Very impressed the the swift response from this company and engineer, arrived promptly and within a couple of hours our heating and hot water was back on. We will be now using this company for our annual boiler service and household maintenance.

Toilet was not flushing and system was over filling. Rene plumbing came out very quickly and ordered the new parts promptly to fix the problem. I was so impressed I used them a second time to install a heating thermostat, again this was done very quickly and they took all the time needed to walk me through using the device and answered all my questions. Professional, prompt and polite. Our water tank in the roof was overflowing and leaking through the ceiling. I phoned Rene Plumbing out-of-hours and the engineer, Gus, arrived within 20 minutes. Gus diagnosed and fixed the problem quickly. But what really impressed me was that he then spent considerable time carrying out work to prevent the problem, and similar problems happening again. I’d paid a call-out charge and honestly expected that once he’d stopped the leak he’d finish (as a lot of companies would). Further more he reused parts from a tank we no longer use so we didn’t have to pay extra for parts. I cannot fault this company – excellent service.

I had cause to ring Corgi to ask them for an engineer to see to our boiler thermostat. Within 5 minutes I had a call to say it was logged and an engineer would be out by the late afternoon. Engineer rang to say he was on his way a few hours later. He was a very pleasant guy and polite. Took him a while to figure out and replace thermostat but was always good humoured. Our company's commercial boiler broke down a month ago after calling several Gas safe company's René plumbing and heating came out promptly to assessed the situation after giving us a full report and repair cost we decided since the age of the boiler and previous problems with the boiler we would go for a new commercial boiler.
