Reviews of Odyssey Cinemas
S. J.
Been coming to the odyssey cinema regularly for years now and ill be going even more after the Dublin road cinema is gone. They do cool stuff for premiers and specials. Vip is good too.
Z. T.
Decent cinema, morning spots on weekdays are predictably empty. Good seats and ample leg room.
L. C.
This is also a venue with a bowling alley, restaurants, concerts and an kids interactive area.
The cinema is great
Especially if you go vip which provides great recliner seats
R.
An older cinema that still has some great features.
The VIP seats are still some of the nicest seats you can get in a cinema. The portions for popcorn and drink are very large and the staff very helpful.
The only thing about the odyssey cinema is that its condition is indicative of the odyssey as a whole. It can in places feel a bit shabby and kind of empty. But none of these things detract from the general movie going experience in my time there.

Very reasonably priced. I attended the VIP screen and it is so luxurious. Comfortable leather recliners mean you can pretty much lie down while watching the movie, and the seats are boxed off from each other in groups of 2 or 3, offering privacy to relax and enjoy the show
S. M.
Good spot for a cinema, the VIP screens are great and extremely comfortable. The concessions stand is big with lots of choice and mo more expensive than your average cinema, bit they do offer bundles for a bit of value. Quite quiet on weekdays which is great if you can get here then.
L. M.
Really great prices, never too busy, and they do great offers if you're a member of their loyalty programme. I love the fact that the seats don't need to be pushed down to sit on them (like the traditional cinema style)!
J. P.
The lobby area and corridors were freezing and the facilities are dated. The screen itself was heated quite well. I thoroughly enjoyed the movie I went to see (The Irishman) and I paid extra for the VIP, whilst I found the seats to be comfortable for the 3 hour 30 mins film, the whole VIP experience was a far cry from some of the bigger competitors.
A. G.
Generally prefer Odyssey due to their loyalty card and decent offers. The staff generally are very friendly and know what they are doing but have had some bad experiences which were quickly rectified and keeps me coming back. Love the VIP screens which are worth the money if you take advantages of the free parking and drink and popcorn upgrades!
D. B.
VIP for Avengers Endgame. Seats were so comfortable and relaxing. Nachos were great, plenty of Jalapenos helped. Staff were friendly and welcoming which was nice to see given how busy things must have been since Avengers released. Been coming here for many years and I don't have a bad experience to speak of. Highly recommend.
S. M.
The tills are a bit slow, they do have an online service for printing you tickets, if your not getting extras I would highly recommend doing it this way. Seats are comfortable and the pricing with the membership+right day it really is affordable. I got free parking aswell which was very handy indeed
M. D.
This is my favourite cinema in Belfast. The screens are excellent, plenty of selection and there is usually an offer on for the tickets. Loyalty points can be built up and used as cash for snack and drinks (1 point = a penny, so 100 points = £1.00). The VIP deal is brilliant, £15 for a reserved leather recliner with fewer people in the screen, small drink, small popcorn, and free parking. Not an everyday option, but great for a movie you have been looking forward to.
l. t.
The seats are extremely comfortable and soft in the cinema. The movie screen is massive and visible from any seat (Personally I think that the middle seats are the best !!😃😆) You have to come here ! They have delicious restaurants and cafes. They also have W5 which is a wonderful world to let your kids explore! Enjoy!!!!
C. L.
Love the VIP area I do enjoy that and 15 quid a ticket may seem expensive but for free parking, popcorn and a drink balances out. However the main screens the seats are tired or heavily stained and well used and so are the carpets could do with money invested into it and it could be an amazing cinema once again.
A.
Love Odyssey Cinema, my go to cinema. You get more with your snacks and drinks that you get in any other cinema and they offer free refills with the Large Combos. The cinema is clean and they offer different tiers such as VIP Showings with recliners and premium seating in some of their screens. The cinema is clean and the staff are friendly, they also hold family fun events for certain showings. There is plenty of parking and if you get the VIP ticket, you get your parking free
K. P.
Best Cinema in Belfast.
The seats are the most comfortable seats around, the drink sizes are like American sizes and great value.
The VIP experience is simply the best! A big comfy leather lazy boy recliner with a drink, popcorn & parking included? Why wouldn't you 😁.
A. M.
Been a couple of times recently. We're usually quite late at getting round to seeing movies, in fact most other cinemas have usually stopped playing them by the time we do. This has meant that we've usually had the screening to ourselves which I prefer, especially when bringing children. We've always had a great time. Decent selection of snacks and fairly reasonable prices with a few offers available for food and parking.
S. K.
VIP yes expensive but the best way to watch a movie. Recliner sofa sits with wall behind every sofa for privacy n comfort. They have 2 holders in between for drinks n popcorn. Unlimited refills on popcorn n drinks inc coffee n tea in the price. Kick the shoes off n enjoy no screaming kids lol just peace n quiet. Approx for Large popcorn n 2 large drinks n 2 adult tickets £35 r so.
S.
I went for the Vip experience. Other than being so far away from your partner it really is lovely. I didn't see the place with the lights on mind you so have no idea how clean and lively it was or wasn't. The offers on the popcorn etc are very good as is the drink reception are. Provided you arrive in enough time
A.
Have always enjoyed my experiences in the odyssey cinema, been going there since I was a kid, going and seeing movies with my parents. There is always a nice, calming and comfortable atmosphere, the staff are lovely and they always have a great choice of movies on. My friends and I always go here to see our favourite movies, and long awaited new ones, so I would recommend going here if you haven't been yet, I definitely visit regularly.
B. K.
VIP is a bit pricey but worth it for comfort. Plus you get free popcorn, drink and get to wait in the VIP lounge which I didn't even know existed until I went last. You even get a free coffee/ tea while you wait. Treated myself to a mocha ☕🤤
S. B.
Hard to beat cinema. Competitive prices and loyalty card. The decor may be dated and the Odyssey itself very quiet, but we like the staff and experience. They remain unique and have more personality that the big chain cinemas, with themed movie nights and often have their own decor/displays.
K. “. C.
Odyssey or SSE has really gone down hill in recent times. The place is grim to walk through as nearly every unit is closed. The cinema is keeping the place going. Only use the VIP which is comfortable and a pleasure to use. Staff are friendly and welcoming just a shame about refills are not included with a VIP ticket anymore.
A. C.
Nice place. Accessible, reasonably priced parking. Clean facilities. Comfortable seating.
Their Xtra Membership is free to join as well and offers some great benefits including discounts.
The wording on some of their offers need clarified, but it's nothing serious enough to put me off.
t.
Not a bad cinema but the whole complex needs more. Sorry sight on nights with no concerts or ice hockey. Cinema always been fine, can't complain about any movie experience but paying for parking on top of film, all adds up.
A. L.
VIP tickets are great, so comfortable, lots of space plus a small drink and popcorn included in price. Worth the money for a little bit of luxury. Especially for a 3 hour film
J. M.
A great place to view any film! With their memberships you can see films for cheap on Thursdays. If theirs a big movie out that you're dying to see but want great comfort, they also offer the VIP screens in which you get added goodies such as free parking, a small popcorn and drink and a coffee in their VIP lounge.
B. M. C.
Hands down my favourite cinema in Belfast - have started going here more often because the programming seems so much better than other cinema's (Bangor/Dundonald etc.) - there's often multiple daily screenings of new releases which is very convenient.
I love the aesthetic, it's always clean and the staff are very friendly. Worth going VIP for the free parking - but you can still collect points on their loyalty card even if the screening isn't a premium one.
C. D.
We went on a bank holiday which might explain the cold stale pop corn. But the screen we were in was quite cold which wasn't great. Other than that it's a good cinema the concession stand is reasonably priced for a cinema esp in city centre and the staff were really good.
N. G.
The cinemas is a bit distinct place but they've very good ticket price deals on Mondays and Thursdays if you have an Xtra card, bowling alley and a pizza Hutt in the complex and ice hockey arena beside it.
It doesn't cost me anything and gets me the tickets for £3 on these 2 days plus you get a free refill on a large drink if you buy a large combo which no other cinemas in the city centre offer.
It has got its own perks and albeit a bit far from city centre it's a great walk by the river.
Definitely recommended.
R. M.
The VIP experience is awesome and so worth £17 as your car parking is included in the price and the fact that the cinema now has 3D capability for the VIP area is awesome!
I would highly recommend anyone to go and check out the VIP experience if you want a nice treat.
V. S.
Comfortable cinema, membership cards and VIP with car parking make it a cheap place to watch a movie. Plenty of screen times throughout the day from mid morning means you can often enjoy a quiet viewing
B. P.
Ample Easy close parking. Great multi screen cinema with VIP area which is well worth paying the little extra for. Worth knowing if you buy VIP, the price includes your car park ticket so remember to take it with you.
P. L.
The cinema is starting to feel tired. The seat arms are becoming saggy and have big indents in them. It's not awful yet, but unless the place is shown some love it soon will be. Not put off coming back yet, but it's certainly something that's on my mind. There's newer cinemas that, although not as convenient for parking, they are in better condition. The VIP option is still pretty good. Why does this country not have cinemas with in-seat ordering yet... Even via an app would be a cheap way in to that market... You're missing a trick here!
D. L.
To be clear, we use the VIP theater regularly here, but do not attend other showings as we prefer having more space.
The VIP showings are worth the money, if you're a couple of adults going at any rate as you receive free popcorn and drink, as well as comfortable and clean seating. The screens are pretty large and clear, the only issue being some of the seats are poorly placed for the view.
I would not recommend buying food or snacks here as they are very expensive in comparison to the normal prices, though that's pretty normal for a cinema.
G. K.
The VIP screens are the only way to watch a movie in my opinion! Smaller screens but also a smaller audience, meaning less noise. You get access to the coffee bar if you're there early and the drinks are free. As is parking at the Odyssey if you go VIP. Leather recliners, free drinks and parking, in a screening not filled with chavs and kids. Hard to beat.
R. O. d.
Cinemas selection is great 10+ screens I think.
Seats are a bit dated but provide ample space.
Sweets, popcorn and drinks are expensive as usual.
Medium coke and popcorn. 2 kids popcorn/drink/haribo tiny packet. Malteasers and wine gums (£5 for 2 packets of sweets is a deal). Anyways that came to £17.80 I think, Definitely over £17.
M. I.
The Cinema is probably one of the best in Belfast. The seats are very comfortable, the prices are reasonable, the food is good and the walking distance to each screen is not much. Only one problem, the movies I want to see sometimes are always on at terrible times, for example I wanted to see black panther and it was on at 10 in the morning and 8 at night.
L. F.
Don't go for any less than VIP. It's initially expensive but honestly the best value for money. You get a free popcorn, free drink, entry to the directors lounge for free coffee and free parking! Plus much better seats.
G. D.
Some staff have a poor attitude, others are great. Depends on what shift you visit on I guess. I have had great times here and horrible times.
Unruly cinema patrons taking phone calls, talking, throwing popcorn and being rude are things you can expect. Staff told me "There isn't much we can do, why not change seats?" when reported.
They would rather that YOU sort it out by ignoring the situation than risk upsetting the people who have no regard for anyone else's experience. The manager though is a guy called Conor who goes above and beyond to attempt to resolve any issues you may have. If you visit and are unsatisfied, ask for Conor in person or email him when you get home.
B. H.
Watched Star Wars Rogue One in the VIP screen, very comfortable chairs. The small walls in front of the screen are a bit annoying and obstruct you view. Cinema screen was nice and warm but the Odyssey itself was freezing and all the restaurants were closed. The place feels like a bit of a ghost town.
M. J. M.
Only been here twice I believe. It was ok the times I went, cannot really remember to be honest. The VIP seats are meant to be good. Like any cinema, their.price of confectionary is crazy prices.
A. L.
Place needs gutting and some heating installed. Weird entrance. Parking cost me slightly less than the movie did. Auditorium was fine. Won't be back anytime soon 😐
A. H.
I love in here. They have so many great events on during the holidays! I have an xtra card and it accumulates points/money quickly which is great. They're kids boxes and other deals are great value for money
D. S.
First time taking a 2year old. Staff really friendly and helpful. Went just before Christmas day, and the kids had a bouncy castle, able to meet Santa and collect free reindeer food.
R. D.
Saw the last jedi the day it came out. Affordable prices and excellent seating, very comfortable. Toilets aren't convenient to the screens or the entrance. Not too far from the city centre but not the most convenient for travelling to. Parking is paid and quite expensive.
M. H.
Where do I start, we booked vip tickets to see avengers, they let us take our burgers in with us, we were offered free hot drinks (opted for proper batista cappuccinos), popcorn and drinks. The nice lady behind the till told me coffee was unlimited and suggested we grab another cuppa after the movie. All on a friendly unpretentious atmosphere. Seats were comfy, couldn't fault cleanliness, screen, audio etc. Our new go to from now on. Definately recommend the vip package.
C. F.
The Odyssey building is quite run down and empty apart from a few units one being the cinema. The cinema itself is ok but could do with some updating and refurbishment. Overall the kids enjoyed the trip to the cinema
L. H.
A fantastic cinema. My go-to cinema in Belfast due to the good range of films and screening times, reasonable ticket and confectionery prices, comfortable seating and great quality sound and visuals. Parking is only £3 if you are just in for a film. The VIP experience is great too, with leather reclining sofas and free popcorn and drinks as well as free parking.
M. L. T.
The Odyssey is always my first choice of cinema. It isn't my closest but I've always liked the screens best. The VIP package is great for a treat. Included in your luxury cinema screen experience, with limited seating (where you have your choice of seat when purchasing your ticket) you also get free pre or post show tea/coffee, free parking, free popcorn/nachos and a free drink. It's a great gift idea too for any film buff. See your movie in style at the Odyssey ...
J. P.
One of the few cinemas I am willing to pay for VIP seating. Tickets are reasonable when you get free parking, pop corn, coffee and sofa chairs all in the price. Love it!
A. D.
First class cinema with comfortable seating, plenty of offers and deals, become a member with a card and get points which can be used as money of tickets etc
Free parking for family or vip tickets...
The building it’s self is run down a bit but everything including shops seems to be getting a well deserved facelift...
A. W.
Had the VIP experience this time round, when booking online for the VIP you get two options £15 for VIP experience or £17 for Xtra VIP experience both with the same out come small popcorn, small drink and free car parking if parked in the odyssey carpark doesn't say what the other two quid is for. When booking online you get the option to print of your ticket/s to save you time from standing in the queue but you still have to wait for your popcorn and drink at the same place. Watching the movie the fire exit area is lite up by a corridor with all its lights on as well as the exit sign within the VIP seating area, the sign is more than enough to lead the way out, need a door or curtains across the gap for a more cinema experience I had to seat with my leg up just blank out the light. The chairs are a pull cord recliner I believe are abit out dated for VIP area there's cinemas here in Belfast with electric recliners and alot more comfortable on the back, however there was loads of room and a storage area within the armrest for any valuables that may fall out of your pockets when seating down thought the volume was a tad too high yes I'm there for the picture and sound but at a couple of points in the movie I had to hold my ears closed it was one of the moments where your right into the movie almost sitting at the end of my seat and then the volume kills the moment. The place was clean and the staff where friendly
A. N.
Would be the second cinema I would use. Great Cinema, Staff are good. Selection of food on sale is good and the seats are proper comfy. And the VIP is wicked. Really worth the upgrade. Great for families and groups.
W. W.
Great VIP experience
Went to see Guardians of the galaxy 2 in the VIP screen and have to say it was excellent. Not just the movie but the comfort, everything was great.
I had recently tried moviehouse dundonald and was thoroughly disappointed. The snack (Nachos) were extremely expensive and not half as nice as Odyssey's...
Even though the price is higher i really reccomend going to the VIP screens if you want to make that experience special.
C. O.
We have really come to love this cinema and it is the first we look for. I would recommend joining their club online and that you try going to their VIP screenings. They are really good value for money when you compare to some of the other cinemas. They also put on special screenings of old films. We attended Die Hard.
R. H.
I have only ever visited hear hear for the VIP screenings and rating this aspect, it's more expensive but the only cinema round Belfast I know of that features recliner sofas, plenty of elbow space and small screenings of around 30 people but you don't really notice any one else. There is usully deals on with popcorn and a drink included in the price for about £15-£17. If a new big movie is just out, book early as seats are limited.
O. G.
Good prices and a good cinema. Lots of food and drinks to choose from. VIP is well worth the extra as you get a free drink, popcorn and hot drink, as well as them validating your parking and the extra comfy seats too
D. G.
Went to see Black Panther when it came out, was a nice enough cinema. Tidy and clean which is great and the staff were friendly. Comfy seats at a good price. I'll return for sure.
L.
Comfy and spacious theatres, great popcorn and they run fab offers most nights of the week. Also love their special screenings and themed events. Great VIP theatres as well!
C. M.
Good quality cinema- offer alternative deals to the local moviehouse chain such as the xtra club which helps save money at times. Screens and popcorns are a plus but the price of things like sweets could be lower- usually £3 for a bag! Staff are usually helpful and quick to serve, but make sure to check the dates on your tickets for things like VIP as sometimes the dates can be wrong.
L. D.
Best cinema in Belfast , with the comfiest seats! Thursday is members day and your cinema ticket is £3!!! They also accept Meerkat Movies discount on Wednesday! Plus you can collect points in your membership card! Last time we got the cinema and the snacks for free , because we had collected that many points ! Good stuff!
G. W.
Easy to find at the Odyssey centre the Titanic Quarter and usually ample parking but it's worth checking there are no big events on as it can have a severe impact on traffic times & sell out the car park. One of my favourite Belfast cinemas and I'm more than happy it's right beside Pizza Hut and a bowling alley, it makes for an easy satuday' chillout. The VIP option is excellent value as it now includes parking, a small drink & popcorn combo in the ticket price (these can be upgraded for a little more) and the really comfy reclining seats. The loyalty card is worth taking too, after only a few trips we built up enough points for another VIP ticket.
W. R.
Well laid out, seats are with plenty of space and comfortable. You get what you expect from a cinema. Only downside is lack of staff at peak times such as big film releases.
J. W.
You need to check that there isn't a big show on at the arena or parking may be a problem. Last visit I was in screen 12 and there seemed to be a visible mark appearing on the screen during white scenes, it was very off putting. Otherwise very quick if you print out your ticket online.
R. B.
Really great experiences were made here! They play lots of movies for all age ranges and help you if you need it. And there's obviously toilets, food, etc. I love my times here.
P. G.
Best cinema in the country, all screens are a great size and quality. Good comfortable and relaxed seating. Nachos are perfect 👌 and staff are always polite, friendly and welcoming.
B. M.
Good cinema, VIP section is handy for better seating although latest releases are only on for about a week in VIP as there are a few screens.
VIP is a bit expensive at £17 during the week (£15 if you are a member)
A. P.
Brilliant cinema with great deals for members. Not many queues. The lack of free carpark seems to put people off and keeps the cinema nice and quiet for those of us who hate large crowds as part of the cinema experience.
D. J.
Love the member deals. Good range of films. Only negative is some of the seats look like they could do with a good clean.
J. J. C.
Cinema is clean, atmosphere inside the screens is good with comfortable seats, good view of the screen and good quality imaging.
Popcorn is not very good, if fact it is one of the worst of the available of local cinemas and even worse than most of the bagged popcorn (even if it is "reasonably" priced for cinema concessions). Audio is far too loud if you are sitting at the sides of the theatre - your ears WILL be ringing if you sit beside a speaker.
D. C.
Excellent place to visit. Went with my Daughter to see Star Wars.
We had a lovely time in the VIP Suite. Popcorn and Drinks plus our parking paid for ❤
J. O.
Everything was great, apart from the movie... Got duped into watching Mamma Mia 2. I didn't see Mamma Mia 1. My bad. Popcorn class. Seats comfortable. Friendly staff. Will definitely return!
B. F.
Their a lil overpriced as far as cinemas go but their seats are comfy and their concession stands always well stocked
J. m.
Moderately priced and was only cinema within public transport distance from in and around Belfast, still showing the film my granddaughter wanted to see, I can understand why others stopped, as only 9 people in the whole theatre where it was showing, so bonus points to them for keeping it going for a while longer than others.
9.
Staff are always friendly, good deals on movies. I love them showing specials of older movies and love going here for any midnight premiers as they always create a great atmosphere for everyone to enjoy themselves.
S. D.
Odyssey cinema is definitely Belfasts third best cinema, (after movie house Dublin road/city side and dundonald omni), but it has its perks. Compared to the odeon it's cheaply priced, and it's vip screens are fantastic! However some of its other screens are wearing threadbare, our screening of Ready Player One on Friday 30th March 2018 had us in a screen where the seats Infront of us had the upholstery around the seats worn down to see the wood underneath and the armrests on most of the seats in the row we were in were rather uncomfortable. However the real-time cheapness and good locale of this cinema mostly outweigh the issues that a bit of spit and polish could mostly resolve.
D. F.
Always a great experience. Food and draught drinks always good too unlike some cinemas. Beginning to show its age a bit in some areas but none the less one of the better cinemas in the country.
A. G. (.
The seats are very comfortable, tickets are reasonable especially if you join the Xtra Loyalty programme and parking is reimbursed if you get a family ticket also. Very pleasant experience.
O. D.
It's a cinema within an Odyssey within your soul!! They have air hockey in the lobby. They have air hockey in the arcade downstairs. They have air hockey in the arcade upstairs. They also show movies in the cinema. I saw a movie where Paul Rudd became bigger and smaller and dressed as some sort of Ant Man. Also... There is air hockey in the vicinity.
J. K.
£3.00 on a Thursday if your a member which is free to join. Only £3.50 on a Sunday if you're a student! Great clean cinema but expensive food recommend visiting the spar shop behind the Odyssey for sweets!
J. P.
Never a bad experience here . Just always a dent in the pocket. Softened by the new reward scheme .none the less four kids and two adults wanting a treat can be costly
S. I.
One of the best VIP cinema experiences. Private VIP cinema room with large recliner chairs. VIP lounge with compliment tea and coffee to wait in before the movie is ready
P. X.
I personal love this cinema in Belfast. It has various offers throughout the week. But it is the atomsphere of this place. Im not goin to lie it is a bit run down but its warm & welcoming & if u go mid afternoon ur guaranteed its empty.
A. B.
The VIP cinema experience is the best and most value, however I wish there were better places to eat in the whole complex as the last time I went nothing was open and not a very good selection, if you're planning to get dinner before or after a movie- head into the city!
c. s.
Went to cinema to watch avenger end game loved it. It's great when plenty of people are there good to see tho need more in the odyssey itself seen places closed down not good to see.
L. E.
The Odyssey Cinema is nothing but amazing.
The amazing and Incredibly epic cinema halls I Just Jane Norman and the screen is just so big
A. D.
Great for VIP, nice big screens, but staff don't ever seem happy to be there or help. I've also had some of the worst customer service issues ever here.
p. h.
Love this cinema staff are dead on and venue is very good ive been coming here since it was MGM! Lol only gripe I have at all is the price of popcorn drinks food other than that best cinema in Belfast and VIP is just amazing
G. W.
Vip is worth it. Leather reclining chairs. Definatly a lot more comfortable especially for longer films. Plus your not squashed to the person next to you.
L.
Good seating and good movies. Also offers live screenings of events such as Shakespeare plays. Join the Cinema Club for cheaper tickets and free popcorn on Thursdays!
W. B.
Great cinema, especially the VIP bookings. There not too loud, very spacious, free refills and free parking. Love it!
R. T.
My cinema of choice. Friendly staff, lots of screens and reasonably priced. Lots of parking nearby which is reasonably priced too. If you go for a VIP ticket, you get your parking free.
T. f.
Expected so much more from this place, staff were ok the cinema was flooded with red lights all over the floor so there was a solid red glow throughout the film i understand that health and safety require these but there was serious overkill in this place .
S. K.
The odyssey cinemas are good as a cinema but could do with a freshening up. Wish the council would invest some more into the odyssey to attract more businesses - it should be hopping
P.
VIP is the place to be, includes small popcorn, drink and free parking so well worth it to get a comfortable leather recliner.
A. E. J. (.
Always feel so comfortable in this cinema, spacious and great service - joining the members club is always a bonus as there are plenty of rewards and goodies ☺ Great place and convenient parking 👌
L. M.
Cinema is handy with parking but on my last visit I noticed the seats a bit threadbare but it was clean which is a good sign
J. W.
I went V I P and I will go VIP in future
Plenty of space, comfortable seats and no one's head blocking your vision
J. D.
Good cinema, if you become a member for free there are normally offers most days which makes it consistently one of the best value cinemas in Belfast
D.
Great cinema in terms of cost and they also do some pretty decent popcorn. The seats however could do with a deep clean.
c. g.
VIP is worth the money , free parking and seats to yourselves , plus free popcorn and drink , they are small but it's only a £1 to upgrade and you get free refills
J. C.
Good price and reasonable sized screen but getting a bit long in the tooth. Seats are showing some wear and the armrests actually have indentations from people's elbows.
M. M. M.
Needs an update. The odyssey is in a sorry state. However cheap and good quality seats, not the best for putting your feet up on as they bend.
S. M.
Really great cinema. Good snacks, comfy spacious seating, but best of all excellent customer service. Kara is the best. Kara, you rock.
L. O.
Easy access to cinema with great car parks layouts. 🅿 there's more to do than movies. Bowling, kids funfair, international cuisines etc
T. D.
We always use VIP options great seating and due to costs it's beyond the reach of kids so always enjoyable seating fantastic
K. K.
Tickets are pricey but really comfy seats - altho my feet & lower legs tend to be numbe at the end of a feature...
Z. M.
Love this cinema, nice staff and great selection of movies. Also enjoy their special screenings of older films.
G. j. B.
The cinema itself is great but hardly a restaurant anymore to eat in ..what has happened to the odessey ,it's like a ghost town in there now on a Saturday night 😱🤷😨
J. B.
Vip is only worth it if you drive and get parking validated. Otherwise Dublin road is still top of the class.
G. M.
The cinema is fine but the rest of Odyssey looks really run down and a bit of a dump. All the restaurants I knew have closed.
I.
Vip is the way to go. Being 100s of times could be happier with the staff n the building. Always have a pick n mix which there is a large choice .
D. K.
The VIP screen, with leather recliners, are really good for big films releases with friends. Great for a special movie night.
M. H.
Was there on a very busy Sunday nite and the screen was late opening but the staff are friendly and they do try and get customers served as quick as they can at the till
J. F.
Has an excellent range of movies especially if it's not a very common or major movie that has been released. I do think a few of the theatres could do with an upgrade
B. M.
Very warming and friendly cinema. Would highly recomend visiting the VIP section of the cinema. They also have some great offers on
S. O.
Favourite cinema for me and the kids, great deals and good selection of movies. Comfortable seating
R. R.
Same like PVR India and compared to other cinemas in Belfast . This is far better but movie ticket prices are bit high
P. Q.
Good sized screens with great audio which locks in the immersive experience, the seats are also very comfortable.
A. A. (.
Best VIP cinema experience I've ever been too, you wouldn't want to go to normal cinema after
P. G. J.
Great cinema every screen has a big screen so you get the full cinema experience no matter what movie you view.
A. M.
One of the best cinemas in Belfast in my opinion. Premier and VIP seating well worth the extra few quid.
a. s.
Largest screens and best sound in belfast
J. M.
The drinks and food here are definitely worth it and the seats are really comfy, great viewing experience
A. K.
Lovely cinema, but very pricey and they offer nothing more for the extra cash.
C. S.
Very good prices for cinema, helpful staff the whole way through as i had not been here before.
H. F.
Very comfortable. Good deals on prices on Mondays. Friendly staff. Wheelchair accessible.
A. G.
Good local cinema. Seems cheaper than thre big name cinemas but at the same quality. Good offers through the week.
C. M.
The place has went down hill if I'm honest with the closing of all the nightclubs but for the family day out of bowling and cinema it's not to be faulted plus it's the home of the giants
M. T.
Excellent image and sound quality and seats were comfortable. Very spacious
s. h.
Can be pricey compared to other cinemas in the city, but a great setup with parking and eateries a plenty.
D. N. D.
Great big screens.. Lots of space to park prams nd wheelchairs.. Nd for kids to run around
A.
The snacks are expensive as hell but the tickets are reasonable. Inside the screening rooms are great tho.
S. H.

The best value cinema in town. The smaller screens aren't great but the vip screenings are excellent.
G.
Always have a good cinema experience at the Odyssey, and with the loyalty scheme you get free parking with a family pass.
G.
Would be better if seats we're cleaner covers need to be deeply re upholstered as it looks like your sitting in a years worth of filth
J. E.
I have to say that this venus is very busy and well supported by the locals. I enjoy my visits to this cinema.
c. c. (. G.
Great experience , staff allways more than friendly, my go to cinema!
J. M.
Excellent cinema, I saw the 50th anniversary screening of 2001 a space odyssey on the largest screen in Ireland. Really wonderful
M. M.
Only a few people. VIP rooms are great and comes with BBC ree parking and popcorn and drinks.
P.
Sound and screen were good quality but the cinema could use some refurbishment work.
b. w.
I love the odyssey cinema. It has the best seats, best screens. VIP is pricey but worth it
R. O.
Good parking, other things to do afterwards, cinema itself is what you'd expect from a high street chain
G. M.
My absolute favourite cinema in Belfast. Clean, spacious and great concessions. And fantastic location.

The best cinema in Ireland by far. Huge screens, great facilities, and easily bests Odeon and Omniplex for atmosphere.
S. M.
Overpriced and not enough staff on, so only one food counter open. Which made us miss the start of the movie.
D. O.
Not to bad. But Cinema is starting to look tired. Along with the whole odyssey pavilion. In need of regenerating.
A. T.
Located just on the Lagan river bank. Have great seating with large parking spaces available.
J. F.
It's a maze finding your way about, but the VIP is total win and the free tea is excellent
M. C.
Much like everywhere else in the Odyssey it's getting a bit run down which is a shame. Whole place definitely needs a makeover.

Great cinema experience and being an Xtra member goes the extra mile when it comes to offers
