Reviews of Odyssey Pavilion
A. W.
I have been here many times in the past. Very well run arena and the staff are very friendly even when they are overwhelmed. I was there this time to watch Kevin Bridges and as you can see the arena is rammed with people, not one empty seat and yet the crowd management was very well handled. Would recommend
S. K.
My daughter and I were here seeing The Script and omg what a concert that was. They are totally amazing live. Ella Henderson is The Script support act and she was amazing, she has some voice.
C. P.
Wasn't the Giants playing but the atmosphere is great. If you haven't been to an ice hockey match, you're missing out. Do it at least once!
S. C. B.
Great Intimate Venue & Food drinks for all ages. Family friendly!
G. H.
Belfast tattoo was brilliant. A very well put together show. The practice runs definitely showed everything went very well and sounded very good. The staff very well mannered.
P. C.
1st time in ages attending event. Pavilion itself is good but surely there is a better way to deal with the car parking! Over 30 mins to queue to pay ticket then another 45mins to actually exit car park!
S. L.
Great place for concerts or events in Belfast
K. V. M.
Lovely venue, friendly staff and great shows.
M. B.
Staff worked very well with the large crowds and although there were queues it was possible to get food and drinks and still enjoy the show.
M. W.
Place is always well laid out and plenty of staff available to help with seating.
J. S.
The cinema has the best seats going and if you get a ticket you can validate your car parking at a machine there.
The bowling alley has been updated and is far better now, dropped 2 stars because of the weird alcohol rules, you only get alcohol with a good order, keep your receipt and you need a food order bought per person to get a drink
J. F.
What once was a star on Belfast skyline when it opened originally the vast majority of the inside shops and restaurants closed down. There has now been a significant amount of money spent to reinvigorate it with a number of restaurants coming to add to the existing cinema and bowling alley. Will be interesting to see if they variety and styles of entertainment will encourage more people back into the Pavillion.
T. M.
Amazing venue. Staff are really nice. Giants are awesome. The food at games could be nicer.
M. B.
Belfast International tattoo. Had a fantastic time here last night.
J. G.
A very good show and our kids loved it! Not a lot of people earing masks while seated in the show. Apart from that it was excellent
L. W.
Saw Kevin Bridges, great venue, not too big so could see the acts. We'll organised
A. C.
Great night at the André Bocelli concert.
C. T.
Big pavilion with a few places inside. My feeling is that if the SSE Arena was not next door the W5 would be the only thing keeping the centre going. The centre is clean and tidy and is very quiet in off peak times.
M. M.
A great venue for gigs, wonderful layout for the stage, staff and security were fantastic, I would definitely attend another gig here in this wonderful city.
P. S.
Massive place when you walk inside. Plenty of different venues pending where you want to go & see. Cinema on the top floor & some cafes still open where you can sit, reasonably prices for hot/cold drinks & something to eat if you wish.
T. R.
Paddy raff was brilliant good crack and staff very friendly my hat off to them
D. S.
Over priced refreshments but can you can its a concert hall.. Toilets need updated. Seen little mix here they where 10/10 pity I can't say that about the venue
p. m.
Lovely place to go to Disney on ice was very good kids love ever min of it
N. G.
It's a very good and lively place.
Definitely recommended for the ice hockey and also serves best strawberry, chocolate and fudge combo!
S. M.
Been for gigs and ice hockey games. Always a fun night out. Car parking is reasonable price for on site parking.
A. H.
Excellent venue ... concert was unreal 🙂🙂
I. G.
Absolutely love watching the Belfast Giants play! Always good fun and a great atmosphere.
p. m.
David Gray concert was phenomenal!!!! Regarding the venue, no issues: great crowd control, friendly staff, minimal queueing. Well run, memorable night!
P. G.
Some spot was up for the wife's birthday at Disney on ice and it was great were back for Cher concert can't wait
P. L.
The Andrea Bocelli concert last night was absolutely fantastic.
His performance was amazing the atmosphere totally wonderful. Congratulations to the SSE arena for truly an excellent and outstanding night.
An experience that will stay with me for many years to come
L. B.
Went see Brian Adams vip , meal was lovely and concert fantastic only downside was getting out of carpark afterwards took 40 minutes! Lack of security directing traffic the problem it was a free for all
S. M.
Not much in it. Bowling and a small sports bar but the rest of the place is empty. You can get food and drinks in the bowling alley and they are quite reasonable. The arena is separate and good for concerts.
N.
Nipped in for a coffee to find all the food establishments gone. Only thing here now is the Hollywood bowl. Who thankfully do coffee. W5 and the cinema
K. T.
Was great. At Disney on Ice. Over priced. But expected
R. H.
Great place for events, easy access and comfortable.
J. W.
We were in the West Wing VIP area and found the staff absolutely fantastic, friendly and full of banter. They really went out of their way to ensure everything was enjoyable 😉.
My only criticism would be that when entering the pavilion , although we were told to go right to show tickets, what it did not say was to go right through a closed off barrier before the ticket barrier. It was only that I saw people going moving the rope that I asked and was then guided that way.
C. M.
Has a lot of things to do in it and it accommodates people of all ages.
A. D.
Love this place Disney on Ice with the grandkids
T. N.
Watched a Christian concert! Amazing. Lots of room, nachos, coffee n tea. Brilliant!
R. K.
Great for events, can seem lonely when nothing on though!
K. R.
Amazing children's playground and activity center in the Odyssey Pavilion. The Kapla building station was particularly charming.
A. G.
Cinema exelence comfortable and spacious seat's
T. G.
Odissey is improving and I find it a great place to go to to the cinema. Free parking for cinema
M. B.
Major renovation work continues but promises lots of new restaurants etc...bowling and IMAX cinema open..
A. M.
Perfect for the Tattoo. Great view from all seats.
J. G.
still a lot to go to get to the entertainment arena it once was. restaurants need to added but the bowling and cinema are good spots.
C. E. K. L.
Stadium location for concerts with a cinema complex and fast food outlets. Few ATMs and booking kiosks located outside. Bike hire location here with an opportunity to walk along the river towards the docks and marina located at the rear of the building. Titanic museum is close and there’s a large pay and display carpark opposite.
D. M.
Amazing to see the ice hockey 🏒🏒🏒🏒🏒 again
P. B.
Wonderful concert - the venue itself was very good. The queues were fairly well managed and reasonable anti COVID steps taken. The perennial problem remains - far too few car park pay stations and an agonisingly long wait to exit the car park. Not sure if they can do much to reconfigure the road layout but I'm sure more can be done about paystations.
G. F.
I've been to the SSE arena hundreds of times. For the last 12 years I've held a season ticket for the Belfast Giants. The facilities are good. I've never eaten there but a lot of people do, so I'm guessing it's OK. The car park is a problem. The last time I used it I spent 25 minutes trying to get out and it could have been much worse.
I. U.
Excellent concert venue and I suggest you go for a pre show Drink at Rockies Sports Bar. Best for Guinness and lowest price in the complex.
S. G.
Again great night out and fantastic show
S. S.
Good night out.
D. C.
Good night out but should be more options for a quick bite to eat round the area. If you've worked the day of the event and are short for time there's not many options.
I. B.
Great Ice Hockey Giants vs Devils....Very close result and well deserved win for Cardiff.. great atmosphere and worth coming to see great Ice Hockey!!!
D. G.
Went to see the belfast giants great service and atmosphere
T. M.
Queues for food and beverages are totally ridiculous when there is a concert/event on. Takes over an hour to be served sometimes
J. O.
Very good nice food pleasant staff
E. C.
Was there for a show.
Enjoyable
Some bars and restaurants be good to have in the place.
D. H.
Beer well priced given its a venue you expect to pay more, venue itself is easy to navigate and plenty of amenities to hand. Works well
T. G.
Went here recently to see the script and becky Hill live in concert
D. C.
Went to see a concert here..expect long queues for car parking and food. Would suggest being 1.5 hrs early.
G. H.
Pretty good. Nice update. Cinema is fantastic, but there's nothing else in it at present. Once other places are in I'll review again.
b. o.
Visited W5. Really enjoyed it with the family
E. M.
Excellent venue for concerts and ice hockey. Plenty of facilities and good views from all of the seating. Just a pity that the car parks are a nightmare when exiting.
D. M.
Ok but very expensive to buy food and drinks in
R. H.
Loved the ice hockey, great family fun
d. k.
Seats very uncomfortable on the main floor, need to take a cushion or sit on folded coat.Great staff very helpful.
백.
I watched Disney on Ice here. Great performance. But the safety measures for Covid are disappointed. Almost all people do not wear face mask during the performance.
s. m.
Great nights out for entertainment
C. A.
We had an absolutely fantastic time once we got the tickets sorted - what a palaver!
M. M.
Brilliant venue with good views no matter where you sit. A big plus too is that the crowd seem to be better behaved here than in the 3ARENA where they're constantly getting up. Another big plus is the availability of parking across from it at reasonable cost.
M. W.
The cinema was great, but it feels very dead in the place
D. J.
Lovely big arena and ice rink for the hockey. There wasn't much open when I was there for a junior hockey game but there are some shops close by, well within walking distance. The views from the seating area seem to be very good, I tried a few different seats, low down and high up, don't think there'll be any problems with the view.
V. M.
Went to my first hokey match with my grandson, fantastic
F. P.
Smaller compared to other big cities.. Expensive food and drinks tho..
M. L. (.
5SoS concert was great.. like the new set up/ bar / entry system on the ground floor
M. C.
Came for the vaccine and wow what a set up. Hats off to all involved and really impressive. Will update review when able to visit when returned to the actual arena.
J. A.
Had my CoVID-19 jab here, it was brilliant. Second time I've gone in as many months and if I'm offered, I'll go again.
Invite only, unfortunately, but sign yourself up and see what happens!
M. D.
Great venue for concerts. Great views from all seats?
F. N.
Been so many times and it hasn't changed
E. M.
Facilities for disabled people were very poor. My partner and I went to Mr Browns boys 23rd November. The show was amazing and the staff were very accomdating allowing us to sit in prior to the doors opening. However we had to walk the full length of the building to get the only lift available which was the opposite end to the door we needed. My partner is on two crutches due to his disability and he was exhausted by the time we got to our seats. When the show had finished we then faced the same trek to the lift. Once at the lift we were faced with a queue that was extremely long and each time the lift arrived it was full due to the people from VIP areas. Eventually my partner and another disabled man had to negotiate the stairs to the ground floor it was four flights in total. We asked about other lifts and we were told that there was but they were not in operation for event goers. It is no fault of the staff at the event this is due to poor management. This has seriously put us off attending future events in the arena.
R. D.
We visited W5 today with the kid's - 10 & 15 - great day out & very reasonably priced. We were all thoroughly entertained for the full afternoon.
If you are planning a visit, allow plenty of time & take your time going through each of the floors/areas - there is a lot there, and is easy to pass by something you may find interesting.
This is a great attraction - it's understandable why people like this place so much & keep coming back again & again.
k. m.
Really liked this arena when watching Belfast vs Sheffield. Although this is an arena it’s quite intimate and the views of the ice was good. Doesn’t feel like you are squashed close to the next person. Food in here was half decent for an arena and pricing pretty reasonable.
J. D.
The areas surrounding the arena are very basic, with fast food and drinks outlets which are very expensive . A small bottle of water was £2.50. I was impressed with how quickly the arena cleared at the end. Best to use taxi or park well away though!
D. B.
Very well managed vaccination centre, free parking .In and out in 50 Minutes.
Enjoyed the disco music ,added a different dimension to the experience
C. G.
Great show with Michael Ball and Alfie Boe.. thoroughly enjoyed it. Had to show covid passes to get in so nice n safe.
A. V.
Visited it for a U2 concert - it's a massive place, impressive for such big concerts, but the acoustics is not the best (anyways it was planned primarily for sports events).
Also there is a very interesting, interactive scientific museum for kids inside, called W5 - it is well worth of spending at least half a day there with the kids ! It contains many interactive experiments, interesting to klsee for adults as well.
A. M.
Deadly place. Very happy with everything
A. C.
Fantastic place for concerts, the acoustics are amazing for live music
D. -. S.
Depending what's on in the place will determine the atmosphere
K. M.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Free parking with cinema ticket with no time limit (we went for an event in SSE that night and had been parked the whole afternoon and evening and it was still valid). VIP screen is lovely, chairs are so comfy
C. V.
Went to see little mix and it was absolutely brilliant! Would highly recommend 👍
N. W.
Went to see Snow Patrol, it was amazing. Place was packed out, but plenty of security. I was told the drinks were expensive, but the show itself was amazing. Toilets were clean and tidy, corridors were free of any dirt and queues were kept to a minimum.
m. m.
I have just met the most wonderful bunch of people while getting my second vacination.the attention to detail second to none even when I was seen to be little uncomfortable about six of them wanted make sure I was ok lovely people and I don't think it was my good looks that brought half dozen nurses to my aid.well done you gang at covit vacination centre.
d. s.
Got my second covid 19 vaccine at this venue. I would like to commend every single member of staff for their pleasant manner, humour and dedication. Thank you NHS and all volunteers!
A. N.
Tend to only use the Odyssey for the Arena Events or the cinema. So many food places have closed down and it feels like it needs a good re vamp. As for the remaining buildings offering services they are great. Lots of parking too. With good taxi service. Just need to be more to make you spend the day there.
O. N.
We saw Chris Hadfield. The venue was perfect. Security was excellent and professional. The security personal were approachable and friendly. The seating and the general venue was clean and well organized. The sound system and the display system was appropriate for the presentation. There were snack bars available. The bathrooms were clean and organized. We didn't park or use a taxi.
S. W.
Fantastic night as I went to see Andre Rieu. Atmosphere was amazing.
M. M.
Went for the winter skate with my two girls and we managed to get on the ice for 5 minutes alone!
Was a magical treat!
This place needs more investment and back to what it used to be 15 years ago!
s. b.
Great place for kids and adults
W. A.
Very nice pavilion I think it's 7,000 seater
D. P.
Disney on ice were there and arena was buzzing with kids dressed in costume waving over priced Disney lights that could bankrupt a average family with 4 kids £25 each soon mounts up can't buy 1 child without the other so can be costly.
J. C.
Great venue. Variety of eating places to suit all budgets. Bowling alley and cinema. Good parking although can be difficult to get out of the car park when there is a big event in SSE arena. Attended an event last Saturday 11th and disappointed to find all soap dispensers in men's toilets were empty.
B. W.
Really well laid out, has everything under one roof. We went to the w5 and it was good, could have been more in it. There was a play centre in the w5 but you had to pay extra to get in.
T.
Great spot for concerts within walking distance from lots of hotels in Belfast .
A. W.
Family afternoon at the cinema, was a lovely day. I would success you bring ur own treats.
M. B.
wonderful place for kids and adults. wheelchair accessible . Hot dogs are HUGE! bowling with my nanny(she is in a wheelchair) each lane has a rack to put the ball on for a disabled person to just push the ball down. I take my nanny every time I visit Belfast. we always have a great time. They have awesome drinks aswell you can get a pitcher of 4different liquor with 2add in's(slush puppy, orange juice ,7up)😉
J. K.
Massive venue so easy to get lost but thankfully staff are always on hand to help! Could be a bit overwhelming for some though. Fast food and alcohol available but can be expensive and you may have to queue for a bit so choose your moment carefully! I lost my car keys here and staff were very helpful. Although there is a massive car park opposite it is very hard getting out when a big gig is on. I take the bus when possible as it's very frustrating in the car at the end of the night! Taxis available as well.
P. E.
Attended the Belfast Giants Vs Dundee Stars brilliant time we all had
J. J.
W5 was awesome. We saw santa, went on the enchanted train ride, with snow. Had refreshments, kids climbed to their hearts content. Then we moved on via the musical stairs. We spent ages in the water play area, building & adventuring. We built the 🏠 & used the crane to add roofing. We build an F1 car & visited the interactive shop & picture perfect castle. It was a great day out. Love the musical harp & the free play zones with blocks, train tracks, kinex etc
S. S. P. Ó. L.
Best indoor Arena in Ireland. With a capacity of 14,000 for concerts and 8,000 seated capacity for the 'Belfast Giant's' ice hockey team. Ice hockey is played here throughout the ice hockey sesson and also plenty of concerts, of whom I've seen the likes of Black Sabbath to Neil Young. The acoustics are great inside the Arena and lots of space and comfort, for both standing and seated. There are bars around the Arena for a quick larger. Wheelchair accessible and toilets available. Smoking area outside. 5/5.
H. M.
Great intimate venue, capacity around 12,000. Really good acoustics and good views of the stage. We were near back of Arena and could see stage Ok. Can walk to venue from Belfast City centre, takes around 15mins over the bridge. Clean venue with good facilities.
J. M.
Bowling is good, we are not good at it. Cocktails are messy, bring out the ice
C. H.
Was here for Cineworld Cinema Day - Great to see people attending this brillient event
N. L.
Great spot with plenty to entertainment. But they need to be more organised for bigger events and when parking is full to have all staff notifying the huge ahead of cars coming in so they can avoid turning in and head straight fit titanic parking as 2hour wait to park then not told it full to then queue out a d late for concert isn't good enough
M.
Not a bit fan of titanic quarter as it has bad access and double yellow lines for a mile in any direction. I see no other reason for this but developer greed in forcing use of their carparks. Thus the low stars.
Having said that the Odyssey is a functional venue and served the purpose well this evening
S. K.
Lots of things to do in the Odyssey, from bowling to arcade games to concerts. The selection of restaurants is limited but doesn’t take from the experience.
This is an excellent place to spend a rainy Saturday with the kids and still have everyone entertained and happy!
D. M.
Range of food and entertainment to cater for all (or most anyway). For the kids there's w5 for the adults there's bars and clubs and for all there's bowling, cinema and various shows and ice hockey games depending on the day of the week. Plenty of parking, taxis and public transport links.
W. E.
Extremely quiet when we went. The facilities are great in W5. Unfortunately at 5pm only pizza hut and a coffee shop was open for food. Bowling was good also.
R. G.
2nd vaccine..... it hurt compared to 1st.... injected by jenni..... no pokes yet Belfast live said there would be.... no £6 pints or £4 bags of tayto so only 3 stars ... shame
A. L.
SEE Arena /Odyssey was busy today, quietly busy as ongoing Covid Vaccinations are being done daily here.
Traffic seemed to be generally busy, must be normal for the time of day.
K. I.
For a nights entertainment like a show/concert etc. It is well organised. You feel safe and can relax and enjoy or get on your feet and have a little dance and boozy. Neil Diamond here was excellent and the staff are friendly and engaging. I went to pizza hut about an hour before entrance time and it was efficient, friendly and very tasty. Cost was advertised at £8.49 but was charged extra for crust so hadn't realised and it came as a surprise. Thankfully I had the extra. As bill was then £11 odd. So be prepared for extra costs and enjoy a great night out.
C. M.
Good venue for concerts and ice hockey. The surrounding area is not yet developed enough for the arena to reach a 4 or 5 star rating but it'll come. This part of Belfast is gradually up and coming.
L. R.
Great place for a concert Bill Bailey was brilliant 👏
S. T.
W5 - so much to see and do, very unlikely to get it all done in one visit. You can bring snacks - I saw a group with full on bowls of fruits and salads, so take advantage of that! Not much else in that Plaza other than a Pizza Hut, so be prepared, and parking costs.
L.
The Odyssey has definitely gone down hill over the last few years. Pretty much everything is closed now and it's full of empty shops. The cinema is good and the bowling alley is usually relatively busy. The only real place to get food is the bowling alley or pizza hut.
A. M.
Really good everything family friendly choice of entertainment Cinema, Bowling, Amusement arcade, W5, world off information and fun learning. Food court has a great variety from Chinese, Pizza, italian, American diner, English. Not forgetting the Ice bowl and Concerts.
o. m.
Great place for all the family from eating out to cinema. Rockies bar ( sports bar ) great place to go to before and after an ice hockey game. Odyssey bowl for family , friends and cooperate teams. with great offers for bowling and food. Pizza hut
N. G.
Cher was the best concert we've ever been to.
J. T.
Really great place with so much to do and see. Great places to eat in the area. Easy access to Belfast City centre. Good views of the Lagan. Lots of parking space. Close to Central Station. W5 and Bowling are just a few of the many available activities in this area. Always good. Lots of historical stuff too
C. M.
Went to see 25th anniversary of River Dance. Had seats in the floor which were spaces really well to enable easy access and room to stretch your legs
C. 7.
I like this arena and have enjoyed many events in it. That's when I get into it and that's the problem. The access is simply shocking. No other words for it. Seriously the worst of any arena I've ever been to. Getting away with it though due to no competition. Shame.
M. J.
When the admission price seemed exorbitant the thought quickly disappeared as I observed patrons from primary school age to grandparents, like myself, getting involved in a plethora of activities that were teaching us and provoked questions for which answers could be self-solved by adults and shared with the children. Although refreshments were available from discreetly positioned vending machines, hunger was dispelled by the fantastic range of learning/teaching experiences over five floor levels. All staff attendants were most pleasant and helpful and easy to find if and when required. This is a venue to which I would feel free to bring almost anyone.
P. X.
Now personally i love this place it has been left to sort of colllect dust. This once busy entertainment area used to be full of clubs, restaurants etc. Now there is a cinema, a pizza hut, W5, the street but to be honest that is the charm of the place its been left but this makes it quiet u can guarantee the cinema will not be busy especially early showings.
C. W.
Great venue but parking is a bit of a nightmare when a popular show is on. Still trying to get my head around why they take away the bottle top when they sell you bottled water - still, a good night out.
J. H.
Had a trip to the BOB (baby friendly) screening of "PS I love you" on Valentine's Day in the Odyssey Cinema, VIP. This was excellent, very comfortable seating, spacious, plenty of room to park the pram under the screen and plenty of room to nurse baby in the seat while enjoying a bag of popcorn and a drink! Great price of £4.50 per seat for a lovely film! Would definitely go again. Highly recommended. A cup of tea to finish at the Streat Cafe before paying for Car parking.
N. R.
Great place for all ages. Lots of activities. We went with a 4 and 5 year old. Staff very helpful. Google maps took us there the long way round, but did get us there.
C. S.
I mainly love the Odyssey as we have spent many days entertaining our children here. it has the most-excellent- (but really you have to go all day)-W5, the odeon cinema and a good bowling alley as well as restaurants, night club, bars and a concert venue. at busy times, you have to book the bowling alley in advance - it is always busy when we have gone recently and we have not been in the habit of booking - cue much gnashing of family teeth. Surrounding titanic area has been tidied and sympathetically developed so it is nice to go for a walk around The odyssey building too.
D. C.
Just been here for second covid vaccination, well organized. Looking forward to going back when concerts resume.
r. n.
Went to the Brian Adams concert was seated at the front row would not recommend if your actually interested in seeing the performance
with the large standing crowd in the centre arena and the fact that we were seated it's not happening
it was so bad that there was a altercation between two women over the fact they couldn't see the performance
giving a rating of 3 stars for the music only
l. b.
Went to watch the Belfast Giants good game, busy but worth it
J. R.
Great place. Very understanding of disabled needs. Helpful too. The concerts we've been to were great. Both singing and comedy.
P. B.
Too many steps for my age group, poor access to lifts
Staff wonderful in assisting.
Z. M.
The staff are helpful and friendly. We went to the opening night of westlife, an were unaware that most of the eating places were closed in the pavillion, the security boy told us they were closed because they are going to be doing a refurbishment. Which we were completely unaware of. Luckily there is a subway very close by, an a small restaurant and a premier inn.
We used the SSE parking, we waiting half an hr to 45mins trying to get out, until we seen one heading towards the other side of the carpark, just driving straight across an we followed an were lucky to get away quicker. Otherwise we would have been sitting for another 45 minutes or more. I'd probably suggest using alternate parking in the area, if your heading to a big event. You can pre pay for your parking ticket in the SSE carpark though.
G. K.
Not much goes on here, except for the bowling. A lot quieter than it used to be, needs more investment. The pizza hut is good though, and the cinema is always handy.
G. B.
Some place great facilities really enjoyed it
A. W.
Attended a stag do in the odyssey bowl on the 9th 12/17. Awesome night from start to finish. Had upstairs area with shooting games, dance machines, pool and snooker tables while we waited for our lane to open, popped down stairs only to be offered a free shot for each one of us before our game of bowling, got food served at our lane half way though finger buffie, chicken strips, potato wedges, onion rings and garlic bread with a free drink to wash it all down all for a tenner each. 😁 would recommend and will definitely be going again.
N. T.
We had a really good evening there were perhaps 5000 people there yet we were in and out without a problem. Our seat, view and overall experience was really outstanding.
K. P.
Unfriendly security, abrupt, made to feel we weren't welcome, one female security guard pushed past my brother knocking into his shoulder and spilled his drink, she didn't have the decency to apologise, I approached her and told her what she done but didn't seem to care, I been to the Oddyssy many times and never had a problem in fact the staff are always fantastic but not at the UB40 gig. We were at U2 gig last October and treated fantastically well by everyone.
E. S.
Had a great night watching Westlife. Would certainly attend other live performances screened in the cinema. The only negative thing for me was the small lack of atmosphere otherwise i would give it a 10/10
Z. ..
The SEE arena is big enough for large amounts of people. the Belfast Giants ice hockey team play all of their home games there. There are lots of shows and concerts that are shown on a regular basis. The odessy cinema is also very large with multiple big screens.
Could use slightly bigger parking for show nights.
J. G.
No where to eat or drink in the pavilion
E. N.
Visited W5, our little boy 2.5 really enjoyed it, would have given 5 stars but lack of decent eating places let it down. Winter land express was disappointing, far too short. W5 itself was great, lots of thing for our little one to see and explore.
S. M.
Has a couple of restaurants and bars, but most visit for the arena, cinema or bowling. It's getting a little dated inside as not much has changed in a decade but still ok for a visit. My kids love W5.
M. D.
I would advice anyone to visit especially after Titanic Quarter. You can spend a whole day here. Cinema, bowling, amusements, restaurants, pubs and last but not least W5! The must see attraction for all ages. Prices are just ok.
L. M.
Easy to get in and out. Pre pay your car park. Saves time at the end. Staff friendly
J. M.
Belfast got this for the millennium, and it is a great place to visit for the family. W5 is fantastic and the Titanic centre is right beside. It is beautiful at night time with all the boats in the harbour. A few good hotels within walking distance and a great place to attend concerts
J. M. N.
Im slightly disabled but didnt want a fuss or sit in designated disabled area. Every single member of staff in the SEE Arena were fantastic and couldn't have been better. Made a great experience even better 🤗
W. M.
The vip entrance to our box was great for wheelchair users our dedicated waitress Katie was excellent and very helpful and friendly a marvellous experience. Will definitely do it again
J. P.
Cinema, science museum (W5), ice hockey arena, bowling alley, , music and events venue, cafés and bars all under one roof. Individual attractions are good but the pavillion is badly thought out. That said vast indoor space is great on a rainy day with kids- lots of coin operated rides scattered about and sometimes inflatable rides. The whole place is looking a bit tired/shabby inside and several empty units. None of the cafés here are great- a couple of okay diners. All pretty expensive for the average quality of the food. None make good use of waterfront location, despite great location the whole place is inward looking with no natural daylight. The arena is great but the design of the pavillion was dated when it was built.
G. M. M.
The Odyssey Pavilion is a great place for all the family.. There is the Bowling Alley where you can bowl and eat burgers. For adults there is a bar too. You can visit the cinema with family and friend eat buckets of popcorn and drink pints of soda while you watch the biggest blockbusters. Or take your kids to the educational W5.
There is the great sports bar Rockies and there is also a Pizza or Asian Restaurant to choose from or if you just want a lite bite then 'The Streat' Cafe is the best choice.
If your looking for a great fun night out come watch Belfast's own Ice Hockey Team 'The Giants' at The Odyssey Arena right next door to the Pavilion.
A. C.
Got my covid vaccine here on the 31st of May all staff were very reassuring and helpful while there very clean and tidy
A. S.
Interesting recycled sculptures along this riverside walk.
C. W.
The Odyssey Pavilion was a nice enough shopping centre. I did not really get to explore it fully.
m. m.
Was here to see Rod Stewart in concert and it was excellent apart from a very brazen couple of women in front of me who vaped throughout. I told one of the staff who went to speak to them at one point but this alerted them so they kept doing it more discreetly when he was showing people to their seats. Kept getting a cloud of vape near me 😡 another reason for less than 5 stars is that the rest of the Odyssey is nearly all vacant. Pizza hut, odyssey bowling, cinema and W5 seem to be the only businesses operating now
J. C.
Its getting really tired, the Rockies isntbtheir anymore. They need to expand it waken it up and add sone new places to it. Are there even concerts there anymore? It used to be such a great place and it seems to have been forgotten...
S. K.
Bowling great, arcades etc for the kids n adults. Great place serves food, drink n alcohol. Easy to get parked, vip cinema upstairs. Odyssey has a hand full of restaurants, bars n a nightclub. If don't live near here n u don't want to travel I recommend the Lisburn bowling pavilion brilliant spot next to the omniplex cinema.
r. M. (.
This is where i watch the belfast giants. Always have a blast here. Win or lose its a great nights craic.
C. M.
Bowling was excellent however the heat was far too much to handle. The arcade was good however a lot of games felt a bit crammed in some areas.
F.
Been here twice. The first time for a hockey match and it was good even though im not a fan. Second time was a concert and it was great
L. C.
Great show today river dance matinee. Staff very helpful and pleasant. Only downside is getting out of carpark be prepared for long wait
c. b.
Went to see disney on ice and the staff were excellent esp with the covid situation and handled it well
K. M.
Shame about this facility. It's going downhill fast. Most of the food outlets are closed. Many people arrive at the odyssey expecting to eat before a show. There only seems to be two sit down outlets. ... Shame on you, try better next time
M. M. C.
Love going to the odyssey for lots of different events, mainly to watch the belfast giants. It's well laid out and easy to find your way about. Everything i have came for here has been great. The staff are always most helpful too. There are a few bad points tho, the drinks are not the cheapest or the food. My family went to Disney on ice here and the prices where extortionist, I couldent believe some of the prices. Another down side is the parking..it takes about an hour to get out of the car park after an event. Really wish they could make more lanes to leave by.
L. B.
Took grandson for his 1st covid jab they are doing a brilliant job only thing was they are closing on Sunday and no1 could tell me we're or when he will get his 2nd 1
D. M.
Getting my COVID jab and so not my choice to be here! 😀 But a great venue and I've enjoyed many other visits for concerts, hockey, etc.
I. W.
Great night Andre Rieu concert was amazing
D. K.
Had loads of fun at the arcade but had forgotten to book bowling lanes in advance, so there was a very long wait before one was open.
n. d.
Not a great selection of places to eat
T. M.
Went to olly murs with my 5y/o son he loved it. The atmosphere was electric. Staff very friendly and accommodating for him. Easy to get to and easy parking. Brilliant.
K. O. K.
Went to the little mix concert last night and it was absolutely amazing. Best night of my life. The girls know how to put on a show.
a. c.
Brilliant day out with the grandkids. So much to see and do for all ages-adults included. A fun day out/educational. The time passed so quickly and a great time was had by all in the group.
J. F.
Peace proms definitely recommend
A. 8.
Great atmosphere, good hockey, worth a visit
P. D.
W5 is usually a good day out for the kids. The is a bowling alley and a movie house, 12 screens. The restaurant selection is diminishing, hopefully new ones will open.
R. W.
Venue good but queues for an hour to get parked. Missed some of the concert. Same leaving. Traffic gridlock. Needs sorted.would put me off coming to Belfast for shows.
J. D.
The cinema is great and as a concert venue it's pretty good. The odyssey complex (the restaurants, bars etc.) is dying though (as of time of posting). The place is in dire need of refurbishment and only a few units are still open.
J. B.
Great concert, well organised and effective stewards. Leave plenty of time to get there for big events though, the traffic and car parking nearby is appalling.
M. W.
First time in Belfast.... we were here for Ice Hockey team Fife Flyers. Brilliant! The arena is spotlessly clean... amazing amount of staff and are all so nice and helpful.
A. C.
Ten pin bowling is great fun. Nice and clean with a good selection of fast food, games and cold beers. The whole odyssey compound could do with a bit more soul.
C. C.
Good sized venue, well laid out & not so big to be miles from the stage. Good parking across from it although need patience to queue to get out!
e.
Great venue. Have been to several concerts and sports events at the arena. Seats have always been great and great quality sound. Lots of places to eat and relax
I. G.
The Odyssey has become one of Northern Ireland's most iconic locations. Many and varied events taking place here on an almost daily basis. Check it out and you can may be take in one of these events during your visit. Lots to do and enjoy even if your visit is only to the pavilion, the Arena is the home of the Belfast Giants hockey team.
G. H.
A multi purpose venue now known as the SSE arena.
Parking can be problematic so if you're going there either use a taxi or walk there. It's not too far from the city centre.
There aren't too many eateries there and what ones they gave are very low ebb.
U. M.
Brilliant concert. Sound v gd. Only downside was that we had to look sideways from our seats. Would book different seats next time.
P. R.
Fun ice hockey game. Nice venue.
K. B.
Great for ice hockey and shows alike
A. K.
Went to the darts, good atmosphere, friendly staff. Only annoying thing was they don't sell big bottles of delicious red wine anymore. Sad face
T. A. K.
Not as busy as I would like very few places to visit Inside
R. D.
Well organised, despite the amount of people attending the show the event centre and car park was cleared really quickly. Other venues could learn from this experience.
P. Q.
Lacks the visitors it once had. Sad to see this place go down. The cinema is pretty good and bowling alley and W5 are great for kids and adults alike.
D. S.
Great venue for a big event. Loved it
T. D.
A great place to visit. Offers a lot for kids and a hole family. Once you are in you just don't want to leave. Price are correct staff are very nice.
A. P.
Went to watch the Belfast Giants Ice hockey team in action. A great evenings family entertainment, my son is a season ticket holder and could not go, so I went with my Giants mad Grandson. Beware the snacks and drinks are very expensive when inside £3 for a small fanta. The evening was well put together and the seating was comfortable, a suggestion is to prepay your carpark ticket on your way in it's about £4, it will save you standing in a long queue when the match is over. The Giants do have a big following and you will be queueing for a long time to get out of the car park, its better to be sat in the car in a queue than standing at a ticket machine.
C. “. W.
Plenty to do here but also a great place to park if visiting Belfast Town Centre.
3-4 walk to Titanic Centre.
10 mins walk into Town.
£4 for 6 hours parking, hard to find cheaper in town.
Good place to pick up the City Bus Tours.
p. h.
Not that much left here sadly back when it opened it was one of if not my favorite place to be in Belfast with a state of the art cinema, restaurants, nightclubs and w5 for the kids it really had all the bases covered but like everywhere else businesses have moved out and not been replaced a real shame
f. d.
Brought the kids ( boys 8, 6 & 5 ) to the W5 with the intention of staying about 2hrs but we were still there 5hrs later, they loved it and didn't want to leave.
J. C.
Brilliant venue and great entertainment to suit everyone. Would be lovely if there were more eating places to attend before a concert
D. M.
A great family day out at W5 or W7. The Arena has World class acts like Little Mix, etc, or you can enjoy a meal at the various restaurants.
A. L.
Bill Bailey was fabulous. Getting out of the carpark was horrific.
M. G.
Always looks like it could do with a good clean. Only a few places still open. Unless there's an event on in the adjoining SSE arena the place lacks atmosphere.
g. t.
Got in quick and the seating was great. The staff were wonderful
S. M.
Was in a box for michael conlan homecoming, would definitely do it again. Experience was great, staff were excellent, the only downside was the price of the alcohol when pre booking.
P. T.
I went for my Covid vaccine there. Good arrangement done. Huge stadium.
R. B.
Good place to go for intertainment even better when everything else reopens
S. M.
The Odyssey Pavilion was in use for NHS staff to deliver Covid vacancie jabs and the entire process was well managed and streamlined.
A. S.
Nice place, nothing special. Visited due to Covid vaccination, so wasn't my best experience in my life...
p. f.
W5 was amazing.... Is it wrong that i had more fun at the water table than my two year old?... Kept everyone amused for hours, highly recommend a visit
P. G.
Staff couldnt do enough for us and even brought over a menu.
Food prices are extremely good.
Well done.
B. C.
An excellent venue for concerts :)
L. B.
It's nice and all but we weren't allowed to film a tiktok on the stairs and the neck lady is quite distracting
T. “. H.
Be sure to try the VIP cinema it's amazing. Great movies fun arcade and a few snack places but don't expect a proper sit down meal.
S. M.
Great night had at the 2020 peace proms a must see for everyone you won't be disappointed SSE staff polite and very well organised
G. G.
A great day out Odyssey bowl has lots of great offers on their website such as 3 games of bowls for £5.00 if you get their before 11.00 at the weekends
R. D.
Up for second vaccine. Staff all friendly and welcoming. Very well organised
D. G.
A great venue for concerts and events. Just a pity it wasn't bigger. Sad to see empty shop units in such a good venue.
J. N.
Very friendly helpful staff. Food drinks expensive. Captive audience lol. Overall a great experience. Great atmosphere, sound and lighting excellent.
M. M.
We went to W5 but also saw a bowling, cafe, La Tasca, pizza hut and some other shops. Parking is on the opposite side of the road and costs around 1,50 per hour
L. M.
Belfast Tattoo. Brillant. From the fast and furious Italian band to the "different" Dutch band. Loved it all. The Imps were amazing. Will definitely go again.
G. h.
Good place to visit with the kids... But don't let the security be nasty to u as some of them tend to be.
C. G.
Came here for a concert next door and ended up going bowling and having dinner at pizza hut. Lots of fun for the whole family.
N. S.
Great venue for concerts and other performances. Can be a wait to get out of the car park after large events though.
a. m.
Visited for my second covid jab, a massive well done to everyone far better experience than when i first visited
N. D.
Big concerts and events need a better hosting system, other than that it's a great venue. Management need an improvement.
A. B.
Only 3 attractions to the Odyssey Pavillion are the bowling and W5 and the Odeon Cinema. The rest is empty, run down and really in need of a a whole revamp. Do not plan to eat here as the restaurants are just awful. But Belfast centre is only 10 mins walk away, so its not all bad.
E. C.
Beautiful place was here to see Mrs browns boys fantastic show had afew drinks at the bar near door 21 only fault is the staff hadn't a clue what drinks use has for sale as twice they told us they didn't sell jameson whisky and we had to tell them it's hanging on the wall
D. M.
When there's nowhere else to go, there's always the Odyssey. Decent arcade/game area. The hot food stand inside that serves crepes is amazingly tasty.
S. L.
Disney on Ice was great for all ages. Car park is a disaster fit everyone to get out at the one time as there is only one exit.
R. M.
Great view of any performance. Close enough to actually see who you've paid all that money to see. Standard overpriced drinks/snacks.
F. N. G. P.
Very helpful staff, really busy, bustling with activity.private function room was brilliant the food the staff was brilliant the service was A++ nothing at all was a bother , room was clean overlooking Belfast lough
T. F.
Went to w5 and was pleased with that expensive gift shop though, but the rest of the odyssey seemed very run down and almost empty but I did get a delicious churrio from a vendor on the way out
J. K.
Awesome venue with all you will ever need under 1 roof. Good for any age.
S. M.
Pizza Hut good for families after visit to W5 or before/after cinema. Place is quite empty. Needs more going on.
R. S.
Home of the Belfast Giants and hundreds of gigs and attractions throughout the year
D. M.
Great evening spent at the SSE Arena watching and getting to meet the Belfast Giants ahead of the new season facing off in a few weeks time.
k. s.
Such a great place for music and I really recommend seeing a gaints play what fun. Staff always friendly and polite.
K. m.
Great arena hosting so many different events and tonights River Dance show was fantastic.
J. M.
The Odyssey is a good entertainment centre, with ice hockey, concerts, bowling, cinema and places to eat. It's a fun place to bring family and friends to.
a. t.
Currently used for covid vaccination centre. Sse arena is closed for other commercial activities.
A. M.
Loved my experience there.
C. S.
Great arena, highly recommend going to a Giants game 😊
T. O.
Too warm,£2 for a game of pool is way too dear.Bowling is good fun abd the staff very friendly.
M. T.
Wat a venue for events
V. G.
Excellent place took our grandchildren W5 is one of the best thing .All the thing the children can see and do the cinema , the places to eat will go back
M. B.
Giants games always good craic for the family. Would be 5 star if prices hadn't increased.
A. J.
Great for families. Loads to do and plenty of places to eat. Great parking and a central location for most attractions
C. S.
Had my covid vacine here. Very well run. In and out within 45 minutes
G. M.
Brilliant arena and well staffed
D. G.
Thought it was a good night except some of the staff didn't want to know just tried to pass you on to someone else when it was obvious it was there job in first place.
L. M.
Bowling was great for childrens party. But it sad to see so many closed units. This needs a major revamp
A. D.
We went for my toddlers birthday. Spend 5-6 hours and never got bored, nor the kids did.
C. N.
Amazing arena, absolutely love it when we go to the Giants V Blaze double headers every year
G. O.
At fatboy slim concert. Amazing place
L. J.
Great environment and well maintained place!
M. A.
Great venue especially when Belfast giants are playing
D. D.
Was only at the sports bar was not bad but where given plastic glasses to drink from would probably put me off from going back there but was ok for a one off.
s. p.
Delivery of band equipment. Amazing friendly staff
C. H.
At the Rod Stewart concert... Staff were just lovely... Great night! .... Would definitely recommend 👍
R. F.

w. c.
Well layed out venue with good facility
R. T.
So much to do here for all ages, a great day out for the kids to enjoy or a little alone time for you and the partner
b. m.
This is where w5 is, w5 is a wonderful place to go, so much too do, great staff, excellent value for the admission price, go here you won't be disappointed
D. H.
Great place, home of the Belfast Giants, ice hockey team, and great venue for all the greatest bands,/Singers. Also a few eateries and bars.
M. G.
Another amazing Winter Skate, #greatfamilyfun 👌
S. E.
The price of food when there's an event on is phenomenal but to be expected. £4 for a bag of wine gums!
A. W.
Dated, old and tired. This place needs to be brought up to scratch. They keep telling us tourism is the way forward well this place is an embarrassment!
M. L.
Great family place. Lots to do for the kids. Great interactive features. A place to spend a few hours.
D. T.
Reasonably priced concert venue.
I. H.
Pricey for a day out. But great for the children. Not a good selection for eating lunch for a family.
K. C.
Lots to do and see in the Titanic quarter, probably best in the evening, bars and restaurants, a night club, bowling and a cinema along with W5 which is a science museum.
J. T.
Great venue - fantastic asset to Northern Ireland to be able to see top acts close to home!
J. M. D.
So many delays getting to our seats missed start off the show.
I. B.
It is undergoing refurbishment and not before time. A venue like this needs a variety of eateries and bars. Cant wait to see final results.
L. H.
Well served for good, but if you just want coffee or tea there is a long queue. Staff couldnt be more helpful.
W. W.
It was like a movie honest . When I went in it was like a huge vaccination centre . So I got my jab and went back to work
S. M.
Good venue for boxing. Good view from all seats and fantastic atmosphere created by a rapturous crowd.
R. J.
Fun and Frolicking for all the family...I believe it's Northern Ireland's largest indoor venue for live concerts.
W. H.
The Belfast giants come give them a shout great atmosphere. Brilliant.
c. l.
Well organized enough facilities for everyone sound system was superb for concert
E. H.
Belfast Giants Ice Hockey. If you want an exciting game, great tunes and family fun get down to the SSE Arena
T. 1.
W5 was great my kid loves every second you need to spend a full day though worth every penny
b. k.
Clean environment. Insufficient lifts. Very dangerous walking downstairs into seats. No handrails with very steep steps.
b. d.
Great night
D. R.
Good organized hall for big events. You can buy alcohol here.
J. Q.
Great setup.Had a few games of bowling followed by a meal in Pizza Hut.
C. C.
Went to w5. Great for a day out with kids and family. Little expensive but plenty to do for most ages.
L. A.
Great for concerts .need to sort their parking for leaving after concert it's mad
S. M.
Only cinema and ice rink open due to renovation
B. M.
Staff were great and friendly. Drinks pricey but you expect that. Doesn't make it right though.
K. M.
Had a brilliant day so much to do the kids loved it something for everyone would definitely go again.
J. S.
Great venue, good parking. Food a little pricey and venue can be cold.
A. g.

Very clean& spacious. You can see the stage no matter where you sit.
N. H.
Went to see Riverdance in the west lounge. Have to say was a great experience so relaxed and enjoyable.
M. B.
In need of some reinvestment, cinema is great, arcade and bowling is good. W5 is fantastic.
L. M.
Didn't have to wait anywhere near as long as I did getting the first jab.
E. H.
Great atmosphere for a game or concert, very convenient to access roads
H. G.
Good place had good viewing to the stage a bit pricey with their drinks apart from that had a good night
G. M.
I have ever been to a few events here and they are normally all organised. Lost a star for charging 2 . 50 for a bottle of water
L. K.
Hard to get a taxis from there but follow the crowds and you will get back to city centre quickly

M. Z.
W5 is worth a visit big time! Great fun for kids any age.
D. H.
£17 entry for 1 adult and 1 child spent 2 and a half hours here. Good value
H.
Good place. While waiting you can choose what to eat and drink. Polite people.
J. H.
Cinema is amazing, love the VIP! Definitely could do with some development.
T. J.
Ideal place for families and those interested in science. Many activities to explore, and parking space.
M. S.
So much has now closed. A few good places. Great for cinema and W 5.
C. C.
W5 a great place but the food selection outside was poor. A queue forming for pizza hut!
S. H.
Great venue but looking and feeling a little dated now
G. N.
Good venue for large shows. also contains the wonderful W5
D. M.
Great concert venue staff were very helpful for a disabled user with me
J. B.
Good for big concerts or sports events. Drink quite expensive and only one type of beer.
o. s.
Very good place highly recommended for events
M. M.
Parking is expensive and carpark is always very busy when there is an event on. Took almost 45 minutes for us to get out as there is only one exit.
A. L. G.
Just had my vaccine here!! Nice staff and fast
C. M.
Parking is horrendous! 45minutes to get a parking spot. Carpark was closed off when you could clearly see available spaces!
c.
Great for concerts and music etc but prices are bit pricey
R. M.
Excellent venue will be back again
S. A.
don't go there for just 2 or 3 hours, you need a full day (and that's a good thing!) :)
L. M.
The existing facilities are good enough but it would benefit from a better selection of places to eat
O. P. K.
It's a nice place But I dont really like ice hockey
L. K.
Always good fun. There is a cinema, bowling, bars, restaurants, W5 etc
W. M.
Great venue found the staff a bit confused about what they should be doing
