Love this place. Perfect spot for a rainy day with lots of activities and interesting things to look at for kids. Toilets on site as well and tea and coffee machine at very reasonable prices with soft drinks and crisps too. Volunteers are always friendly and willing to help and advise.

Fantastic little nature reserve that is well managed by the RSPB. Staff and volunteers particularly welcoming and knowledgeable.
Very welcoming to families and has little kids corner to keep the younger ones occupied.
Saw lots of different bird species which was exactly what it's all about

A great place to see waders and other birds throughout the year. Exceptional staff and knowledgeable volunteers. Plenty of binoculars and 'scopes, bird books and information. Get out to the hides as the weather allows! Everyone is welcome:)

Great, relaxing Sunday activity. Lots of equipment such as binoculars and telescopes to use when in the premises. Really a lovely day out for all ages.

Great place to visit. Three pounds entrance fee for non RSPB members, though you can stay as long as you wish. Both Gerome and Denis are very knowledgeable about the birds and the setup of the place. You can borrow binoculars and they will also let you look through their telescopes. I believe you can get drinks and snacks here, we didn't need a drink, and there are public toilets. Lots of birds to see when we went but it is a good idea to go during high tide. Very enjoyable experience.

Brilliant family trip, with helpful volunteers. Easy to get about, have a picnic and see some birds and other animals. Will be back

Good viewing of the birds from observation room and two hides. Tea and coffee and good company. Excellent voluntary and full time knowledgeable staff.

A great find for both a different day out and I also use here for work meetings which are great value.

Amazing place to view various birds. Ian was especially informative pointing out particular birds and letting me see them.

A wonderful hide where, if you time it right, you'll see a huge variety of wildlife, especially wading birds.
