Reviews of The Bear Grylls Adventure
M. H.
We came here to do Archery and were really impressed. The whole centre is really well themed and it's crammed full of activities. There's an obstacle course which you can do for free once in the building as many times as you like. It was exhausting but very good.
I've done archery before but this was honestly my best archery experience yet. The bows were wooden but very functional. The instructions were clear. The range was organised and disciplined without taking away any of the fun. What made it really fun was the archery "games" we played. It started out simple, aiming for different colours, but became more fun as we shot at different targets across the range and played "knock-out" games and did time challenges. It made it really interesting!
Well worth a visit!!
S. P.
Second visit and to do some different activities and loved it just as much as the first visit.
Special mention to Kyle who we were lucky enough to have all to ourselves on High Ropes (should have been a group of 16 but apparently we were the only 2 willing to brave the rain and wind!). Kyle was patient, supportive, encouraging and calm. He was also chatty and friendly and great fun to do this experience with!
The staff are always great and it's such a smooth process from start to finish. Genuinely not a single complaint in 2 visits.
Helpful tips -
Parking is a 5-10 min walk away
There is a Starbucks inside the NEC doors just past BG if you're early!
Leave enough time between bookings to grab a drink and use the toilet!
We have now done Climbing, Archery, Shooting and High Ropes and enjoyed all of them. Highly recommend.

Really good place to go!
We did archery as a group of 8 - we got to do it all at once! 🎯 Went straight in, got lockers to secure our stuff with a locking wristband to keep it locked.
We got to do the assault course free of charge! Really cool to run over stepping stones, pulling myself across poles a pole (badly 😁) monkey bars and a pole. Didn't get a photo as my phone was in the locker 🙃
Although we spent most of the time watching the fish in the fish tank.
Loved it!
B. M.
We had an amazing time here the past weekend. We booked tickets in advance for high ropes, archery, scuba diving, sky diving and climbing. We got the assault course for free. All staff were friendly, professional and knowledgeable, everything is all in one place and very accessible.
M. W.
What a great place. The assault course is not for the faint of heart. I have asthma and I took some time to recover.
We took part in the archery which was really good with a 45 min session. The instructors were really good with my daughter, 8, and assisted her where possible.
My children managed the assault course many times and the shark tank is great to sit and watch.
They serve Costa coffee and have a limitted food menu.
Previously our boys have attended the high ropes which they thoroughly enjoyed.
Well worth a visit.
A. T.
The children had a fabulous time at Bear Grylls Adventure. It offers activities for a wide range of ages and certainly for those children (and adults) with lots of energy. Helpful and friendly staff and lots of space between each activity area. Would definitely visit again.
J. S.
Really nice building, well decorated and themed as others have said. Staff running the activities were generally really friendly, knowedlgeable and enthusiastic. Was a bit annoyed when one member of staff (Hageeb) walked off midway through serving us on the photo prints without any explanation and asked someone else (Catherine?) to deal with us...unfortunately she didn't know how to do it and he didn't explain where he'd got to, so we stood there awkwardly watching her struggle with the screens until someone else helped her.

Great day out! This place offers so many fun activities it's a daring experience for anyone. We loved archery and the different challenges they get you involved in. Tallest high ropes in Europe doesn't look like much but when you get up there it's a challenge! Loved getting over my fear and tackling it all! The assault course is really fun, we did it 3 times and you can do it as many times as you like but you will feel it tomorrow! All the staff were super friendly and the place had a fun atmosphere.

Came here for my little brothers 8th birthday and we both had a fantastic time.
First we did the iFly. Our trainer was fantastic (I forgot her name - maybe hayley? Blonde lady in training). She was really good with my brother as well as everyone else and gave super clear instructions. You get a couple of go's in the tunnel each, on the second go you get a chance at getting spun higher in the air! Great fun and would love to go again.
Secondly we went for the snorkelling. This was good and you get LOADS of time in the water. You're behind a clear game but the fish can come right up to you and its fantastic to watch. My brother struggled with this a little bit, so might be one to avoid if you're bringing a little one. Probably more ideal for those a couple of years older than him.
We also did the zipline (only £5 each), which was quick fun and easy. And then thr assault course which is a great free bonus as long as you've done any other activity there.
Staff were all really friendly and the whole place was jam packed with fun! Lockers are included so you can drop off any bags and coats etc.
Would definitely come back again and try some more of the activities.
A. G.
The best place to get entertained. I did the Ifly withe the family for a birthday gift. It is one hour experience, you get to fly for 1 minut x 2 times and your can try the extra high - going up - for an additional 8£. Great instructors and the first step to try the sky experience. Pictures and videos available with 15£.
M. H.
This was our first visit, and it will certainly not be our last. We spent the entire day and had a wonderful time. Being Merlin Annual Passholders helped and enabled us to enhance the day with the iFly for the kids.
Every single member of staff we encountered was happy, enthusiastic and most importantly polite.
K. T.
Kids loved it, high rope course was fun and really high. Also as many goes on indoor assault course to tired them out. Got half price tickets on voucher. My kids are 10, 12 & 14, the 10 & 14 year old got to the top of the high ropes (65ft)
L. M.
Fab day out. Helpful instructors. Assault course is free with any booked activity. We did Archery and highropes. Absolutely loved by all of us. (Ages 8-38yrs)
C. C.
Good range of activities to participate in.
The staff throughout were friendly and helpful, especially the ones who were assisting with the activities.
The inside is well decorated and themed to match.
Food and beverage didn't look too spectacular, so opted to have something elsewhere.
L. a. L. o. a. M.
Great day out with several experiences to do but very different to using Merlin passes at other attractions make sure you pre book everything as you can't just turn up and use them,
O. M.
If you need some adrenaline it is a right place!
The High ropes are super duper thrilling!
I Fly is good.
Next time I would like to try a diving with sharks.
D. W.
Very well staged - we did the archery as a family £80 for a family of four, and we all did the assault course....twice!
Significant discounts on offer if you book a second activity whilst on site on the day. Staff were excellent - everyone really enjoyed themselves. Gift shop is well stocked and not over the top price wise !
R. D.
We had a small group go here for my sons birthday, it was a great experience to be had there. We done multiple experiences whilst in the building. Sky diving, archery, rock climbing and the assault course multiple times. The is also a large fish tank that we also witnessedanother group scuba diving in with the sharks. There is lockers provided for your items for free toilet were clean, there is a cafe inside. We took a packed lunch which we were able to go out the front and eat on the benches that over looked the fishing lake. The kids all loved it, we had comments from them like it was the best day of there life's. Lol
N. S.
Fun for everyone and really well presented. Informed instructors and the gift shop is reasonably priced so great for pocket money mementoes!
R. P.
Absolutely amazing place to visit! We did the snorkeling and had the best time. Our guide Kerry was fantastic and is a credit to the company. One of our party is Autistic and Kerry really went above and beyond patiently ensure that we could all have a great time together. We also had a go at the assult course which is included in your ticket price and the kids loved it!
There are plenty of activities to participate in and the staff are all very friendly and helpful with the ability to answer any questions that you may have.
There are shoes/trainers available for hire if you are not wearing the correct footwear for activities such as the high ropes. There is a cafe on site with a selection of snacks and beverages and the toilets are clean.
The venue is wheelchair accessible for those that need it.
Will definitely be visiting again soon for yet more fun with my family!
R. Q.
If you haven't been here. You need to ask yourself why? FORGET THIS REVEIW BOOK NOWWWW.
Recommend to take your own snacks and you get a free return which is lovely!
*** member of staff unacceptable behaviour traumatised my 7yr old daughter which was reported and dealt with promptly. However this did not spoil our day too much! And all other staff were FANTASTIC
O. A.
I came to celebrate my birthday with friends and family and it was a very fun experience! We booked the escape room, archery and snorkelling, what stood out most was how helpful the admission staff were when we narrated our ordeal which led to us missing our booked session in the escape room. She willingly went out of her way to help us by fitting us into another session and also move things around to accommodate us for the rest of the day though it was a busy Saturday for them.
We were all quite pleased, the assault course was hard work 😅took me about 20mins to complete. lol (I don't know how Bear Gryll did his in less than 2 mins)
Archery session was brilliant and I enjoyed the competition aspect, you can tell I love to win 😂the attendants were brilliant and encouraging, slight injury as I wasn't wearing the arm guard properly so be careful to fit it on correctly.
My niece and her friend did the snorkelling which they said they really enjoyed. Pictures and videos are taken for you which you will pay for though the ones they had weren't very good quality.
Escape room was just ok, got help in the end to escape 😊
It was packed but just had enough people moving around to make it comfortable during this period.
Their cafe had some good snacks to nibble on; there are loads of restaurants outside the NEC where you can grab a bite also with beautiful views 🤩
The train station is about 10mins walk to the Bear Grylls Adventure Land so easy commute in and out of Birmingham
Glad I came from MK and would probably visit again to do other things...oh gotta say parking is not free and a few minutes walk from the NEC where bear gryll's is situated (about 8mins walk I would say)
The locker idea is brilliant and helped a great deal, thank you for not charging for that 😊
T.
Was here today with my partner the Shooting was amazing and our 2 hosts (Charley and Aj?) They were so funny and helped us all so much!
A. G.
Great weekend of adventures. high ropes little bit out of my comfort zone but did it. Shooting, always wanted to try and didn't disappoint me.
L. F.
Did IFly tuesday 2nd August it was amazing our instructor Emma was so professional even took the time to talk help a nervous little girl from start to finish which was so sweet. A massive thank you to Emma you made us all feel so safe and confident and you are amazing at your job thank you for making my skydive experience amazing. And to all the bear grylls staff that make it a success.
S. B.
We booked high ropes and archery for our visit. The place was very clean and tidy. The themeing and lighting was very good throughout. Food and drink prices appeared to be reasonable and not overly inflated.
Staff were very helpful and happy assisting with any questions
The high ropes was a great experience, not a lot of people on the activity which allowed time to complete everything we wanted to without too much waiting time.
Duration of the activities could've been better, we expected an hour on the high ropes but after the briefing and getting harnesses on we only got around 40 minutes on the activity.
Spectators were not allowed in the archery which was a shame even though there is a lot of space available for them.
The assault course is very good, just watch your knees on the rubber floor when going under the cargo net. A lot of different obstacles to tackle.
Would recommend and will be returning to do other activities in the future
S.
We did the high ropes, archery and assault course. Overall it's good but the activities are a little short and more expensive than they should be.
High ropes was 10/10, with a really good free roaming structure so you can go at your own pace and pick your routes, only needing to clip in at the start.
Archery was maybe 3/10. The activity was too short and the instructor spent too much time trying to make it fun with games that took too much time explaining, so we barely had any time practising the archery. This also included firing shots against the clock, which isn't a great way to learn archery having only had 5 minutes to practise. This could easily be improved with less of the games and a longer session.
The assault course was fun and worth doing a couple of times.
A. M.
Was welcomed by Eleanor, who checked us in. FANTASTIC customer service and felt really welcomed. It's hard to have a genuine love for a job, especially when the weather is uncomfortable. She seemed she was really happy and excited to help us and get us checked in. A great asset to the centre. Unfortunately, our visit was slightly tarnished. As temps were reaching near 30 degrees, a member of our party was wearing a vest top and cycling shorts. Not one member of staff had mentioned to us that it would affect our chance to complete the high ropes that day. We had managed to go into the briefing room, provided a harness and went outside to get attached to the high ropes track line. Only then did a member of staff say it wouldn't be possible to complete the high ropes whilst wearing a vest top. I appreciate that it is listed on the website - an oversight on our part. However, we had seen multiple members of staff and not one had mentioned this.

Brilliant shark experience for my partner's birthday. He loved every minute of it. Great range of other things to do and there's unlimited entry to the assault course with every experience purchased. Food selection was very limited, however there are restraints and an outlet shopping centre a few minutes walk away. Validated parking whilst there for cheaper parking. Don't forget!
It's based at the NEC, a little tough to navigate to the carpark. But at least check it's was east car park 5. If you can't find it, the security guards on site are friendly and offered help with directions. Overall a great day out!
Z. L. C.
I booked shark diving for my boyfriend’s birthday and we absolutely loved it! Our instructors Joe and Mo were very friendly and professional. They checked on us constantly and took the speed of the training at the groups pace. As our group was small and fast learners we were able to be in the tank a little longer. P.s. remember your swimming costume and towel.
We loved the theme of the centre and atmosphere so much that we extended our booking to axe throwing too. No one else was on our session and our instructor Lee was so friendly. He was great to chat to and had brilliant games. We tried the normal wooden handle axes but I found the sliver star axes to be much lighter and easier to aim.
Overall we had a brilliant day and finished it off with the free assort course (skipping the monkey bars). Would highly recommend for weekend dates and friend group days out.
M. T.
fantastic day. staff were very helpful.
you can buy lunch here, unfortunately we brought our own.
would vist again
J. M.
Staff couldn't do enough, genuinely delighted with how helpful everyone was. Nothing was too much trouble, a refreshing change from other places where "covid" seems to have become an excuse for poor customer service. Not here 👍👏👏
Activities were well organised and safe....we had a brilliant day there.
Also found the gift shop very reasonably priced which was also a nice change from the norm at these type of venues.
C. G.
Facilities are great, useful little wristbands for lockers and keeping track of photos on activities. Little cheeky having to pay for the photos on the iFly experience but our instructor James was really charismatic and made the experience for me and my partner. We also did the shooting with Air rifles which were a solid piece of kit! Again the instructor Dan was really helpful and took some pictures for us! Only other con is we had to pay for parking.
A. C.
We went here as part of our Buckt membership to do rock climbing. It was a fun hour but quite different to other climbing walls I have done in the past. I think climbing shoes would have made it a bit easier but they are not provided here. I liked the variety of walls available to climb and the auto b-lay system meant my friend and I could climb together. The instructors were friendly and provided lots of encouragement.
B. E.
An incredible experience made that much better by Connor and Matt. We did the high ropes and archery, with the Assault Course. The high ropes were great fun, quick briefing and then free to roam the skies!
The assault course is thrown in free with every activity bought. And boy is it worth it. Admittedly it's not the assault course I was expecting (bit shorter and less complicated than envisioned) but still good fun! We had time to kill between activities and we definitely made ourselves known in the course - we did it 5 times..atleast. The course is fun on its own, but Connor made the experience. His enthusiasm was endless, he must have spent the whole day saying the same thing, but you'd never have guessed! So much character, he had us in fits of laughter before we finished the warm up! Met him at different points on the course on later attempts and there was no let up in the banter. Honestly true stand out for us.
We were very much looking forward to the archery anyways but Matt, again, made the experience. We could've just fired arrows at a board for 45 mins and been happy with that, but the games and the banter just made it so much better. I'm sure the games are included in every session but just Matt's personality added that extra something.
It is expensive, but say for a special occasion would do it again.
S. D.
Wonderful day for dad's birthday, we did the high ropes the adult course and the ifly. Everything was brilliant and not too crowed (on Sunday 18th July) recommend u bring drinks as it can get a little pricy to buy them from the shop if you are there the day! We wanted to shout out to Hayleigh our flight instructor, she made our flight so relaxed and walked us though ever step, my dad was over the moon with the experience and she made us feel super !!! Brother and partner will definitely be back for more flying and the videos are super !!!!!
M.
Visited yesterday. We've had tickets for my daughter and her friend for high ropes. I was little worried for the weather, but it kept and they've had lovely time. During the visit they were able to use the assault course, which they loved. During the activity my husband and I waited in the cafe, which offers Costa beverages, but sadly not cakes. That was little disappointing, but we got over it. The place is a great value for money, many activities to chose from and friendly staff. Well worth visiting.
G. M.
Really helpful and friendly staff that went out of their way to help us and great venue for all ages highly recommended
N. S.
Good experience , there is an assault course which is a free as part of your ticket . It is designed for anybody to take part in
J.
We received gift vouchers for the Bear Grylls experience so went yesterday. We had to park quite far away and walk over which wasn't a big deal but not ideal if the weather is bad. The parking is also expensive, despite validating our coin, it cost us just over £6 for 4 hours there.
The centre itself is very cool, really well decorated and feels like a theme park inside, exciting even as an adult so I'm sure children would love it. The staff were friendly and helpful and the wristband system is really good so you have easy access to a locker and can easily identify what activity you're supposed to be doing without carrying tickets or paperwork around.
We did the shooting and the indoor skydive. The shooting was fun and the staff were helpful and seemed to enjoy what they were doing. My only criticism would be the length of the activity and at the end, they got us to put up a new target only to tell us our activity was over, so we'd just set it up for the next group. It was a bit annoying to think we were setting up to go again when we weren't.
The skydive was a really cool experience and something I've never done before. Again, the staff were friendly and fully prepped us beforehand giving us confidence in what we were doing. It was a lady who was training to be an instructor and she was transparent about this and I thought she did really well. Again, my only criticism is the length of time actually spent in the air tunnel. We took about ten minutes to get changed and have the safety brief, another ten - fifteen minutes of waiting around whilst everyone else had their turn, and only two minutes of actual flying. By the time you'd relaxed a little and started to enjoy it, it was over. It felt quite rushed to get us out, get the kit off and finish up, which I can understand as it'll reduce waiting time for other people, but it did all feel a bit hectic. I overheard another customer complaining about the scuba diving being very rushed as well, but we didn't try it.
I personally didn't think it was worth the money, by the time you've paid for parking, food and drink, activities and extra photos if wanted, you've easily spent upwards of £150 for the sake of less than 15 minutes of actual activities. It'd be cheaper to go to Alton towers or similar for the whole day and actually enjoy longer rides.
Good experience and glad we went but wouldn't go again.
A. P.
The staff that describe what you need to do in the activities, Archery and Rock Climbing are extremely friendly and clear. I haven’t yet done any other activities however everyone that walked past always had a friendly smile on their faces. I would highly recommend the place to anyone! Probably could do with longer sessions in all honesty?
In regards to smaller children (under 7s) nothing much for them to do really whilst you wait for the older child to do what they do. Could do with something for parents to pass time for under 7s?
C.
So many activities on offer for children and for adults. You feel like Bear Grylls, they’ve done a great job at making you feel so immersive as soon as you walk through the door.
I did the shark dive and it was one of the best experiences of my life, couldn’t recommend it enough. It takes a couple of hours but you get training from a qualified instructor and in the training pool before you go into the main tank.
Being able to walk around the fish and the sharks is something everyone has to experience.
S. P.
A great place to have various fun themes, we did the high ropes adventure. The only problem was it wasn't long enough but still worth the experience. It was an almost 1hour of fun 60ft up walking on very narrow rolling beams.
H.
Great place, we went to do shooting but you can also do climbing, archery, assault course, diving and iFly. The instructors were very good, made it fun. Good cafe on site. Felt covid safe.
Z.
Visited yesterday to do the High Ropes activity, the staff were great in clearly explaining how to keep ourselves safe whilst having a fun time! Inside of the facility was kept very clean and lots of interesting things to see (Aquarium and creepy crawlies). Will definitely come back to try the other activities!
w. m.
The outdoor assault course is fun & a little challenging to do it all with both arms held out, not holding the harness strap. Feels very safe doing this Instructor's are friendly & helpful & join in the challenge with your group to give u advice.
The low star rating is for the pistol experience. Poor quality pistols. Only 3 targets each & only 3 magazines holding 16 pellets each. Bad idea to have silencers on them, because they block the guns iron sights. I changed mine for 1 without & it was better. Over too quickly. Better suited to older children.
The free inside time trial course as a 1 minutes 3 seconds time to beat but there's no one there to time you so u need one of your own group to do this. Although a wristband to show you've paid for an event is required to do it, there's no little token prize for anyone who does beat it. Would be nice. One in our group did a minute flat, so it's doable. The staff are helpful & fun with good banter. Come on guys, a rosette with I beat the bear challenge wouldn't break the bank ?
S. G.
We came on Thursday and unfortunately we weren't able to arrive in time for the shooting session we had booked. I approached Sarah, who works at the reception, and asked whether I could re-schedule or rebook the session for a later date or time and was told that I could not. I was disappointed and had gone to put my belongings in the locker. However, Sarah went over and beyond for us and managed to squeeze us in for a shooting session due to a last minute cancellation! This really made our day as the shooting session was wicked, we were really glad that we didn't miss out! I definitely recommend you to experience it and I personally thank-you Sarah for thinking of us during the cancellation and arranging it for us so quickly. We had a fantastic time, and we will be back to try out the other activities!
G. S.
What an incredible experience. Range of activities is brilliant, the timings between each really well thought out, and the staff were exceptional. Great way to challenge yourself and face up to some fears. Absolutely worth every penny.
A. Y.
Our visit here was great, very friendly and helpful staff, activities well organised and clean facilities. We did multiple activities during the day all of which were enjoyable, hard to pick a favourite so I'd recommend doing the archery, shooting and climbing. We're returning later in the year to do the other activities we missed the first time.
W. C.
Fantastic experience
Fantastic staff
Would like too add...the trailer emma was very helpful too everyone plus she took the time to help this little girl who was scared
Emma was very professional all round
Loved it ....!!
Highly recommend
J. J.
Amazing place. Never done activities like it before and really enjoyed myself. Archery was amazing.
A. H.
Really friendly and welcoming staff. Guidance was very helpful and the instructor we had for the iFly experience was superb. Can highly recommend a try.
The loss of a star is purely based on how expensive the site is along with the parking charges.
R. A.
Absolutely blown away. Went rock climbing here after seeing it when visiting NEC and Resorts world in the past and can honestly say had an amazing time. Fantastic place and great atmosphere. Lots of stuff to do.....high ropes, royal marines assault course, you can even swim with sharks in the purpose built shark tank. Staff were all friendly, knowledgeable and patient and made even complete beginners feel right at home. Parking is about a 5 min walk away but has its own dedicated carpark and when they validate your token brings the cost down massively depending on how long you stay. Honestly cannot wait to go again and do something else. Amazing would highly recommend here.
s. s.
We did ifly. I must admit I was glad it was over only as I panicked on my first fly but tried to enjoy and relax on my second. Our instructor Harry was great and helped my nerves. Defo a must to try. Great place with loads to do 👍
C. W.
Came with our Buckt subscription. Had a great time with Paige on the Climbing course. Great mix of bouldering, auto-belay courses, and hyper-realistic rock climbing experience. Also had free sanitary products available in the female toilets - great initiative to end period poverty!
S. C.
Great experience. We did rock climbing which was great fun and lasted roughly an hour.
To get the cheaper parking rates, ask to get your parking coin validated when checking in. (its kept behind the counter)
S. D.
We had a great morning here. The staff are a cut above those I have encountered at similar types of activities - helpful, upbeat, energised. We had a go at shooting and then climbing. The obstacle course was a little harder than I expected.
S. W.
We did the shark diving experience. We were in the tank for only 10 minutes but it was a really different, fun and enjoyable activity. This would be really great for anyone who is a fan of exotic fish and sharks!! It’s super safe as your snorkelling in a glass cage. So you can see the fish clearly swimming past you but nothing dangerous can get in. The fish swim up so close you can touch them (but you’re not allowed 😫 so don’t try to do that!). Would really recommend this activity for anyone to try.
M. E.
Good experience but should be expensive to do the whole day with all the activities. We went on the high ropes got the tickets out of the sun newspaper for free we booked in for 10am. Everything went well had a good time but by the time we was leaving it was filling up I'd recommend to get there early and don't forget to validate your car parking chip at the bear Grylls attraction for your discounted parking.
T. S.
Myself with a group of 3 others did the escape room and archery. The escape room was okay however in the last room we found the code to get out but it didn't work on the door. The guy working there came in twice asking if we needed a hint and it did ruin the immersion quite a bit as we didn't ask for one. We then went on to do the archery which was supposed to be 45 minutes... Yet it didn't last 45 minutes. The safety breif was intense yet when we got on the range the two workers were getting us to see how many arrows we could fire in 60 seconds and doing other pointless 'tasks' which felt really rushed and dangerous considering the lane was not big enough for 6 people and myself and 2 others were left handed so bows kept clashing against the right handed people. We ended up only having 4 goes at firing down the range which for the price, wasn't worth it. I would definitely come back but wouldn't do the escape room or the archery again.
J. B.
The ifly experience was very good but felt slightly cheated to have to pay another £10 pp to rise a little way up the chamber...pure money making scam.
Very little to do apart from the paid for experiences...there is an assault course but you have to keep moving on it ..no play or rest area for the children.
I found the staff a little bumptious and officious..friendly but slightly annoying.
I would not go out of my way to make a return visit...once was definitely enough.
I. R.
Always friendly, lots to do!
Recently scuba dived in aquarium, brilliant experience..staff were great at making us feel safe, especially one male member of staff who really made our visit memorable.
L. R.
High ropes were absolutely terrifying! Shark snorkel was amazing but only ended up with roughly 20 mins in the water. All the staff were friendly, knowledgeable and patient. Great day out would deffo go again.
D. C.
I really enjoyed going to The Bear Grylls Aventure. I took my family on the indoor skydiving, high ropes, zipping and (by far my favourite) the rock climbing. The staff were very kind and helpful. Especially on the rock climbing; I think Lee was very helpful and encouraging when I fell down (which happened alot). I also thought that Dylan, from indoor skydiving, was also very good because he was a very good instructor who was very good at helping you do the indoor skydiving.

We've had a great experience everytime we've visited. Friendly and informative staff have made us feel very welcome and comfortable when trying new activities. There's so much to do and see so was never a bored moment whilst there 😊.
We're due to visit again very soon!
J. T.
Wow, brilliant afternoon. Bit expensive but the grandchildren loved it and did so well!
C. W.
Honestly hands down the best experience ever! I did archery, climb and assault course! Every worker was really nice and inviting which was great. They are really socialble with customers and make the experience really fun! I highly recommened this place and cannot wait to explore more things like sky dive, shark dive and high ropes! They are on my bucket list along with the shooting and zip wire. Just want to do everything! Couldn't fault anything. I would of liked the archery to last longer. The high ropes were closed due to good old English weather but i will be returning.
Q. V.
Amazing lots to do and plenty of free stuff to go along with your paid ticket. We did indoor sky diving and shooting the instructors where great for both and had a great time.
D. T.
Great place for all ages.
The ifly is good, however you get two goes of 1min, just something to be aware of.
Food was reasonable both price and quality.
You may want to rush around quickly so as not to get stung with car parking, you get your parking validated but you still have to pay alot for a few hours.
Would I go back yes, as the staff were all friendly and helpful, it's just a shame when you have to pay so much. A few more people and less cost of staff standing around waiting for visitors on other attractions.
D. T.
Fantastic set up and really good fun. Did the iFly experience and our instructor (Harry) was brilliant, so good with our kids and made it a lot of fun in unusual social distancing circumstances. Definitely look to go again in the future.
M. K.
fiance and son were fascinated ifly. the instructor was friendly and kind. the only thing I didn't like was that you had to pay extra £ 10 if you wanted to go higher. it is quite an expensive adventure and I think that 10 pounds should not be a surcharge. You fly just 1
M. H.
we did the high ropes and had a brilliant experience especially from lee, he made us feel very safe and happy and satisfied with our day, hope he gets some recognition for his kind and caring actions, very pleased x
X. A.
Completed the archery experience, enjoyed it, good fun then afterwards the assault course a few times as definitely a bit of fun and tiring ...staff friendly BUT disappointingly not allowed to take photos so no group photo and none during activity
P. M.
All great except stupid car park deceitful upselling con. Just let people pay for what they use. No need for stupid £21.50 fee if u forget to verify your silly token at reception. Forcing people to pay crazy amount if they forget, or spend 15 minutes walking back to the reception from car park. Nuts!!!!
S. F.
If you are looking for a thrill day this is the best place to do it all in one location! Swimming with sharks and all the fish was the best experience!!! Helpful and friendly staff made for the best day out!

One word Amazing!!!!
Being a bigger lady i was quite worried about coming but wow! Was brilliant.
I was with a bridal party and we did the escape room, my first time it was brilliant and we Escaped! Yes! The staff are really lovely and helpful throughout the whole establisment. I then went to do the Assault Course which i completed, i was able to do it in my own time and the staff again so helpful and encouraging definitely personal achievement gained to day thank you.
J. C.
Great place, so much todo!
Friendly staff, everything was explained well, everywhere was clean. Next time we are back we are doing one of everything Haha. Great family trip out!!! Will be recommending this place to all my family and friend and hopefully they will bring me with them Haha.
Well worth it guys
F. B.
Brilliant place with plenty to do. Very knowledgeable instructors who put you at ease immediately.
Downside was that the toilets were not very clean
A. L.
Such an amazing experience. Staff were so friendly and accommodating and the facilities where totally covid safe and clean. My partner went for a dive and it was so well organised and an overall great adventure. We sat in the coffee shop while they were explaining the ins and outs to my partner, there was a good variety of eats and drinks and a fantastic choice of souvenirs in the gift shop. My 3 children were definitely entertained with all the decor and the fish tank was a great focal point.
R. W.
Most amazing day out highly recommend I went on my own and the staff were so friendly jade and Hermione especially they made me feel so relaxed and made sure I was having a good time throughout the day highly recommend going defiantly prebook before you go shark diving was definitely the best Ryan and Ross were so friendly and informative
L. B.
Great day out plenty to do very friendly staff
N. H.
Fantastic experience with safety always paramount. Staff went out of their way to make sure we had a great experience. Disney quality finish to the interior. Wish we'd allowed more time and booked more activities. Will be returning.
A. U.
Most of the staff were amazing wanting to help and make our experiences great. Increased range of food or snacks would improve the experience.
P. /. H. H.
Great day out, would definitely recommend.
J. t. m.
Great place, far better than I ever expected. Tons of activities but make sure you take advantage of pre booking the offers.
The place is well managed and all the staff are friendly and knowledgeable.
The toilets are plentiful and clean, the lockers are free if you have paid for an activity.
The food is a little pricey but there is plenty of room to sit and eat.
Have a look at my photographs of the menus etc.
R. W.
Really good fun, and the kids loved it. The place was pretty clean, and wasn't too busy even though it was half term. We had already booked a couple of activities which I would suggest is a must - there was a bit of a mess up with the timings but they sorted it out very quickly and without any fuss, which is all to their credit.
Snorkeling with sharks was an absolute highlight.
D. M.
My wife and I went for her birthday, and did high ropes and climbing. Great fun, high ropes were a real thrill. You have the freedom to make it as hard/scary as you like. Climbing was great fun too, again good for any level. There are plenty of inexpensive things to do to fill any downtime. On site caffe is not overpriced, lockers are free, assault course is free. Best of all the staff were exceptional, felt like they were genuinely invested in you having a good time. Will definitely go again to try out more experiences.
S. S.
Had a great time here with my 11 year old, we did archery, assault course and high ropes. All the staff were excellent and friendly especially some of the assault course staff who were clearly ex military which gave the course a more authentic feel.
H.
Great experience, great staff and indeed amazing service. Ensured me that I was safe when on high ropes and even made me push against my mind. Great service in general, they also allowed you to go onto a Assault Course after completing it. If you aren’t down by the assigned time, they would come help you and allow you a extra couple minutes to complete the obstacles. The structure of the Ropes were amazing, bearing in mind I have been to a couple High Ropes, this was far from the best, the best in the world I’d say. It was unique because the higher you went up the easier it got, this was to make sure you push and exceed to your limits.
J. A.
Super place for an adventure. Amazing staff, centre is very clean and great to see well thought out arrangements have been made to ensure social-distancing etc is maintained. A bit pricy, but fab for a treat.
L. J.
The high ropes are beyond terrifying but very fun! Nice fish tank, the assault course is fun too. ifly was a wonderful experience and all the staff were beyond lovely
J. D.
We had booked elsewhere to use the iFly facility within the Bear Grylls Adventure, so booking etc was done by a third party so can't comment on this bit.
Parking was simple and the facility easy to find. All staff were cheerful and helpful, provided us with wristbands and pointed us in the right direction for our activity. The free lockers were appreciated so there was no worry about carrying our things around.
We had arrived early so stopped for a drink in the cafe first. Drinks and food were reasonably priced for a venue like this, we only had drinks but the pizzas looked great.
We headed for the iFly section but saw there was a lot of other activities which looked great including the high wire course, archery and shark diving. We were provided with equipment for our activity, and were given very thorough safety and instructional information. Everything ran like a well oiled machine, and the staff were fun, enthusiastic and patient with all visitors. We all had great fun!
The kids also took advantage of the free access to the assault course.
Parking wasn't cheap, but not obscene- around £6/7 for 5 hours.
Overall, would definitely recommend and will travel here again to try some of the other activities.
N. C.
Great experience at Bear Grylls ifly for a family of 4. Boys aged 10 & 11.
Great fun, well organised, highly recommend.
D. B.
Absolutely fantastic day out. We did the high ropes. But I could of stayed and done it all. A really great day out
R. P.
Pretty good attraction...did axe throwing and archery - axe throwing was a great laugh and the guys in the range were brilliant. Archery was pretty good: though we didn't seem to spend much time actually shooting; also lacked the atmosphere and humour of Connor and his team on axe throwing. All in all would recommend.
J. Y.
So much to do! We did the shark snorkeling experience with 3 kids and it was brilliant. The facilities are great, you get your own changing room with shower and provided with wetsuits etc. The guide is great and makes sure you get the most from the experience .
There's a free assault course that you can go on as many times as you want as well.
D. G.
Absolutely loved it the archery is a complete must the staff were great and very helpful with my daughter. As for the assault course my upper body strength needs some serious work 😂 it was great I raced my daughter nearly killed myself trying to beat her but youth prevailed. Well done to everyone on this site you are brilliant 👏
S. K.
Went to iFly, had a lovely morning. Staff and facilities brilliant.
V.
Did a shark dive here and it was fab! The time in the water flew by so fast that it felt like 5 minutes but the instructors were amazing. The assault course was also very hard for adults 😅
E. T. (. S. F. H.
Went for kids birthday party for escape room but it seems their system double book and we had to wait for another hour before. Could do better with their system.
Kids all enjoyed the experience.
J. B.
My 2 sons went for the high ropes & the obstacle course. They loved both of them, the high ropes are outside & surprisingly high! There's loads of different obstacles for them to traverse whilst always securely tied in. They us an overhead rail system that interlocks with the ropes, so you never have to unhook yourself. Great fun had all round & will definitely be returning
M. P.
So many things to do here. We have tried the high ropes, the archery, the assault course, and the climbing walls. We also got something to be eat in the cafe
Staff are friendly be and helpful throughout.
They have made an effort at making areas wheelchair accessible, but the lifts are very sensitive and not suitable for larger chairs as they stop if any part of the chair goes over the line. They could also do with a changing places type toilet with be adult change bench and hoist to make it more accessible. They be will let you use the be first aid room though is you require a bed to change. If you call in advance you be can book a disabled parking be space right outside for free
D. B.
Very fun place to go, if your curious it's definitely 3-4 hours of good activities like assault courses and of course the rope climbing frame outdoors. Very friendly staff.
L. H.
The iFly was a great experience but my only criticism is that you have to pay for a photo! When you pay for an experience like this you should atleast get 1 free photo even if it's a digital copy to remember the experience by. Me and my partner were both doing the activity so couldn't take our phones with us. I just think that overall customer experience should be thought about from beginning to end.
S. G.
We booked 3:30 for archery in there but due it being my first time in that area I got lost and was late for the archery. The kind lady at the counter tried her best to get us to the archery but that lot had already started so she started looking for alternatives and managed to get us into rock climbing to make up for it. That was such an excellent customer service and she really made an effort for us to have an experience of the adventure activities. I thoroughly enjoyed rock climbing and will surely visit again if im in birmingham area.
J. C.
Staff are helpfull through out the arena, Kyle was our base camp guide and made the experience extremely exciting and fun! We did the dive as well, I can not express how amazing jay and jaz are as diving instructors !! Extremely helpful and welcoming, helped me overcome my fear of water and were extremely patient with me and I managed to actually complete the entire dive even tho I couldn't even go under the water to start with!! I am so greatful!!! Jay is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to diving and how to get into it as a beginner, 1st class instructors. Can not recommend this more!!! Only down side is video not working on dive so was unable to purchase.
A. H.
Great fun. Staff are very friendly and helpful and the kids loved it. Definitely worth a visit if you want something different to do.
P. A.
Axe throwing was a unique and fun thing to do and the high wire helped me tackle my dear of heights. Staff make the activities safe, but are friendly and help you with the experience
J. R.
We did the archery as part of our BUCKT subscription experiences. Really enjoyed the session. We were given a full safety briefing before we started the activity. Being a left handed I usually find archery very difficult but the staff were really good at showing me how to hold the bow and load the arrows correctly. We each had a bucket of 8 arrows and we had 5 rounds of firing them at the target. In each round We had a different ‘game’ to play which was good fun and made the whole experience more fun and interactive. We did not do any of the other activities but it all looked like great fun. Parking was also reasonable for the NEC - £2 for the first hour and then £1 per hour there after.
P. W.
Good fun, done shooting and archery, too scared to do the high ropes. Bit pricey and no food at the cafe apart from small pizza and hotdog.
S. G.
Great place to go with family or friends. Reasonable souvenirs and photos. Staff really helpful and made the experience fun
W.
Awesome place with amazing staff and things to do. Highly recommend
C. J.
Overall a good experience. Staff friendly and teenage girls enjoyed the high ropes. My only issue is that it is so dark inside! I had eye strain by the time we left, constantly struggling to see, I don't know how the staff manage working in that environment. Otherwise, would return and recommend
D. W.
Fantastic day with a group of 13/14 year old. Activities were amazing and the staff even better. Highly recommend a off-peak visit.
K. M.
The Indoor skydiving with iFLY at the Bear Grylls Adventure was an exhilarating experience for me and my family when we went on Sunday! Love to go again!
F. C.
Had fun! Lots to do even if your disabled, Ans the staff were very good with their first aid they gave me when I fell.
S. W.
Loved it! Great experience. Was only booked in for one activity but once you get going you want to try the others. Daughter loved it as well and when your family has fun it makes it all the more special. Staff friendly and helpful as well and even guided me to book the other activities online for discounted prices. Will go again.
K. A.
Best value for money! Such awesome staff!! Definitely coming back snorkelling !!! The archery is a must-try. Feel the rush of adrenaline with their assault course!!
L.
Helpful and friendly staff onsite, not as helpful during email contact.
Good size groups during activities. Not much to choose from food-wise.
N. S.
Such a great time, high ropes was great, zipwire fun, indoor climbing a challenge, assault course good too. We'll be back soon
E. B.
A Really fun time I enjoyed it so much
The Ifly was awesome
The assault course was great fun too
And the people there are really nice and friendly
C. P.
Really enjoyable day out ,been a few times now and never disappoints ,a few things still to do here on my bucket list ,highly recommend it .
D. I.
Great place, fun activities and prices not bad at all! Food and drinks reasonable too!
W. W.
Albeit quite pricey, this a great place to entertain children.
Be advised, the parking is about 10 minutes walk away so you’ll need to arrive early to make your slot.
Staff are friendly
Don’t bother with the two minute game to win a day sack. The bar is very small and rotates, making it nigh on impossible to win...
S. M.
My sister bought me and my partner the high ropes and archery experience which was amazing. I was pretty terrified with the high ropes but the more I did the better I felt. Taz was super helpful. We were the only people in the archery group which was great, Sam was a great teacher and I'm just happy I managed to get the majority of my arrows in a target when I'd forgot my glasses. Sadly the assault course was having maintenance when we visited so we were offered the fear zone for free. It's the only part of the day that was a let down. The host was amazing but its not what I was expecting at all. I would've been upset if we'd have paid for this. Overall a really good day though, great experience and lovely staff. Just a shame we couldn't have captured any moments on camera. For some reason our zipwire didn't send across.
L. C.
Great experience day for all! High ropes are outside so wear appropriate waterproofs, great technology for the safety loved it. The assault course is great fun too. You can see fish in the aquarium and lots of other creepy crawlies!
T. E. S. R.
Really good. Lots to do and experience. The diving experience has a long preparation much longer than the actual dive in the oceanarium. If you're waiting for someone doing the experience you'll have a couple hours on your hands. They could also provide towels with the experience. But overall quite a cool place.
A. M.
Did the high ropes, archery & rock climbing - all were very enjoyable but archery was a personal favourite!
E. '. L. L.
Good and bad. - be warned you will not be allowed cameras or phones inside.
Really good pizza and nachos, helpful staff with lots of smiles. (the staff need a little more direction on giving people coming into the centre the information they really need - how to work the bear tags on the lockers for instance)
We had a nice day here but it's not what we expected. The name Bear Grylls give the impression, based on what he does in real life, that it's going to be an extreme adventure day....it really wasn't. This place is aimed at children or people who really don't get out much. If you're an adventurer like my partner and I this is very tame. The survival maze is more a guided tour of a dark box where they try to scare you a bit/make you jump. I think because they're trying to aim this at a wide audience it's a little lacklustre. That said if you're looking for a day out with some adventurous kids then this is definitely the place to go....It's a Bear Grylls theme park and great fun for some I'm sure. We did still have a good day out though as you can tell by the images.
R. H.
After visiting to do something different with friends and family, I chose to go again (by myself) for the 'Big 5' - archery, climbing, high ropes, shark dive, and iFly indoor skydive. A full day of activity for £190 (which works out about £50 cheaper than doing each of the separately).
You can just turn up and pay on the day but it's recommended to book in advance. You can pay for extras on the day as well. For example, I paid an extra £7 for the high fly.
I enjoyed the day. Instructors and other staff were really helpful. I struggled with the dive and was so grateful for the patience of the instructor.
You'll have to sign a waiver for activities. The iFly and the dive have additional waivers. It's worth noting that you might have to get confirmation from a GP that you can do those if you have certain conditions.
Some activities, I enjoyed more than others. Due to the nature of the package, there was some waiting time. It's good that there is time to rest between each activity, get a drink or snack, etc. The longest time between activities was about an hour, which I used to wander around the Riverside gardens across the road.
The activities are enjoyable. Apart from the Big 5 I've mentioned, there is shooting, fear zone, and escape room as well as the base camp assault course that's included with all activities and packages.
It's easy to find your way around the place but you'll be told at check-in where everything is that you need. There are lockers that are free to use - you'll get a wrist band that works them. You can also scan the wrist band at some activities to get a video while you're there.
Souvenirs such as keyrings, t-shirts, drinks bottles, fridge magnets, etc. are available in the gift shop. There's a machine where you can order some personalised items which you then collect and pay for in the shop.
The only thing I didn't like was the cafe. If you're going to be there a while, I'd recommend taking snacks and drinks with you. Also be prepared for the possibility of having to wait between activities.
J. H.
AMAZIN place ! Kids loved it. Defo be goin be goin back.
C. L.
Good experience but clearly paying for Bear Grylls name as it’s no different from any other adventure park but more pricey. Good variety of stuff to do for a couple of hours.
T. K.
Great fun. Archery session was brilliant. Our instructor was really good, she kept us safe and made it interesting, competitive just enough and quite educational. Caffè could do with more choices but pizza was good and went down really well after the session.
g.
Had my 40th birthday here, what a fantastic day and the staff were all amazing.
K. K.
Fun affordable and new experience from climbing walls to archery and high ropes has an activity for all ages and abilities
M. S.
We all loved it... this was a Xmas Pressie for my son Callum and his girlfriend... so good xx
Z. S.
What a brilliant day out. Did the shark diving in the tank with the help from their dive instructors, Ryan and Will who were both helpful and knowledgeable.
We decided to stay for a while and ended up having a session on the outdoor High Wires, which I'm told are the highest in Europe...........
The only reason I haven't given 5 stars is due to the canteen/food Hall being virtually out of food, even though we were there over the lunch period. They seemed to be pushing the pizza, which were fairly expensive.
Other than that, well worth the visit.
J.
The activities on offer are amazing and the fusionhost team had an amazing time!
Thank you 🙂
Fusionhost is a leading British web hosting company - fusionhost.co.uk
L. B.
it's OK. seems alot on website to do but a bit disappointed. not what I expected. quiet expensive too. did the shark scuba and escape rooms and assault course. Good first scuba experience but being weighed down spoilt it. the escape room was OK... although some clues were left up by groups before which spoilt it and the timer was broke. but it was OK. assault course OK. but could do with timer on it. seem so they challenge you how quick you could do it in.
s. b.
Great fun, I done the diving, climbing, assault course, shooting and archery. Good fun but a pretty long day. Well worth the visit. Really friendly staff throughout knowledgeable in their area and keen to make sure you have fun. Would recommend this place as a fun day out.
J. D.
It was so much fun I
Did snorkelling and it was incredible there was so much wildlife around you in the aquarium and the experience was incredible there was shooting to and that was really cool there were targets and everything. I also did the flying and it was so cool you actually felt like you were flying and the instructors were a lot of help . They also have an assault course witch is lots of fun .
P. J.
Took my boys to the Bear Grylls high ropes today, it was brilliant. My youngest lad has just turned 8 and totally froze when we got onto the first level of the course and wanted to come down but the staff were great, straight away they were over. Sophie is one of the instructors and she was amazing, she spent the whole hour with my boy and he had such a thrilling time, without her we would have been watching from the ground but my 8 year old completed the whole course and we were all buzzing at the end. Such a great experience for us all. Can't thank you enough Sophie, cheers 😁👏
M. A.
loved the high ropes course, zip lines is allright. Parking spots are way too far from the actual location
T. U.
An amazing day out with loads to see and do. Had a go on the iFly and climbing and loved it. The staff are brilliant, the food is fab (not your usual Theme Park stuff) and you can even get crickets to put on your pizza! A brilliant place to spend a few hours or all day.
T. P. H. E. L.
Staff were so nice, even had hair bobbles ready to give to anyone with long hair which I thought was amazing, everyone’s super smiley and friendly, good prices for activities and videos, the ifly experience was amazing so much fun I want to take it up as a hobby now lol
V. N.
Nice place for kids and adults 👨
C. C.
My dad, brother and I was gifted this for a xmas present, and it was an amazing day! well worth the visit , we did the high rope, rock climb, and sky dive , oh and 4 activities in the main area (assault course, archery, maze and panic room)
all well organised and going mid week we got a bit of a one to one on some! the team in each section were fab and tou could tell they loved their area (only thing I'd say is maybe be a little less negative about the cheesy safety videos before each activity, we get it they are corny but dont need telling each time) food was fab too! aiming to go back to do the diving ! thanks for a fab day!!
P. P.
Great day for thrill seekers with top class staff
S. M.
Need to display getting your parking token validated more as the current notice is too small and they is no where to get your token validated once you are closed
S. B.
AMAZING DAY OUT FOR PEOPLE OF ALL AGES
I brought my husband as a surprise day out for his birthday
We booked onto the I Fly and High Ropes
What a day! The staff are the best thing about this place
So friendly and smiley, and cannot do enough for you
I highly Highly recommend the I Fly experience, we went on Saturday and I still cannot stop smiling about the whole experience
We cannot wait to come back
L. M.
Loved the Bear Grylls adventure, great for all sorts of activites, snorkling with the sharks was great, will come back to do the scuba diving soon the instructor (Chris) was great and had lots of knowledge of all the fish, stingrays, sharks and there habitat
r. m.
Plenty to do and a great way to spend a few hours. Did the archery and assault course which was fun.
S. M.
We purchased the Diving adventure for my father birthday, good fun he enjoyed the experience
A. B.
Very good day spent here. It has been put together very well, a lot of effort can be seen. The activities are interesting and well instructed. Well worth a visit and would highly recommend.
R.
Loved loved loved it, can’t wait to return. Not for little kids more a big kids playground 10+ food drink and lockers are good. Lovey staff and parking was good. We parked in no5 especially for bear grylls and then you get a token to validate to make it cheaper.
A. H.
What brilliant staff! This place must have some good managers who recruit well. Two of us went on iFly and the assault course. The staff in both and the initial reception could not have been more pleasant and helpful.
M. B.
Nice place. We have Merlin passes and got the archery as part of the pass.
It would be good if more activities could be ordered prior to visiting but there is a limit of one booking per day.
C. F.
Great day out .We done everything except the sky dive and it was well worth it. The base camp was good but definitely need to work on my fitness! High ropes were really good .it was very windy for us which to me, made it even better .There is a new free fall part in it as well which we went on for free as they are trialing it at the moment. Shooting was good and the climbing was good. The best part for us was the diving. So much to see in there. Special mention to Ben at the Basecamp and Chris doing the diving. These two were awesome instructors.
M. H.
Great fun and lots to see even if you're not taking part!
D. G.
Activities were fun but communication wasn't great. Paid for activities on the I fly and then there were add ons which I feel should have been included in original price
C. d.
Abit of a let down if I’m honest, cost £140 for an hour for a birthday celebration. The first clue is a 2 man job which takes a good while to complete.leaving the other 4 in the group waiting around being bored.
Only around 3/4 other clues to find.Earlier in the week went to a lot cheaper room and found it was a lot better than this ☹️
I think it needs a little rethink
N. E.
Good visit with my boys. The lad manning the assault course was really friendly and I had a couple of goes! Wished I had booked to have a go at archery and climbing. Space was a bit limited for those so try to book early. Nice atmosphere there.
J. H.
Bear is making a mint out of these soulless places. Good for families and activities, but beware as everything is monetised, ie £3 to have a go at hanging off a bar. Staff were very friendly and helpful though, lots of things to do.
R. P.
Had a great afternoon here! Just popped in after we were at the NEC. Noticed the Zip Line, that you can only book at the admissions desk, and decided to give it a go. Chris and Kyle made it an amazing experience. Really explained everything well and made us feel really safe. We then went on to do the Assault Course which was actually quite energetic! Would love to revisit and book more activities
J. H.
Basic indoor adventure fun, nothing very extreme, perfect for the under 16s but real adrenaline junkies best look elsewhere (outdoors).
J. H.
So clean everywhere including toilets, Welcoming was lovely, All staff we encountered where friendly and helpful,
My boys loved there wind tunnel experience,
D. W.
Superb experience ( scuba ) and exceptional staff. Friendly, helpful and fun. All facilities clean and well run. Made my 50th birthday very special
A. A.
The children had a great experience, lovely day and friendly staff
L. R.
Fab day out, the centre is well organised and the staff are friendly and helpful. Plenty of seating areas if you are just watching. We were easily able the zip line on the day as well.
On big thing to call out - make sure you validate your parking token before you leave the centre or you are charged the full car park rate (£20.00) or have to walk all the way back to the centre.
S. H.
Great day out, high ropes, assault course, archery and climbing for us today. There was food available but we brought our own picnic as saving our pennies for more experiences. My child isnt 10 yet so got to wait for swimming with sharks and shooting but will do those another time.
P. W.
Went to do the ifly which was great, only 2 mins though ! staff was great. But to buy the video it was £15 totally outrageous for only 2 mins of video, especially when we are a family of 5 and to pay £15 for each of us to have the footage is disgusting. Very disappointed we never got any pics or video. If you do go take someone with you who isn't doing it to video you
A.
Booked the high ropes spontaneously as they had a 50% sale going. It was great fun and some of the obstacles are super challenging especially the roller beam on the top level. Also had a free go on the obstacle course inside and loved watching the fish and sharks in the aquarium. Be going back to try more!
A. M.
Great if your in the area or passing, a lot better than I was expecting and the high ropes are great!
W. A.
Great day out for the kids. We enjoyed shark diving, indoor sky diving, rock climbing and more. Finally had quite time on the drive home!
J. S.
Great day out. Staff were super and really helpful especially those leading archery. Bit disappointed we had to pay extra to do the zip line as when booking on the website it said it was included in the high ropes activity. Other than that can't complain, would recommend.
K. W.
Great afternoon celebrating my sons birthday, we took part in the archery & assault course, great time had by all! Staff were lovely & helpful, especially the manager, who went above & beyond! Thoroughly recommend
D. M.
A great day out to be had for all ages.
Definitely a place to consider when trying to get the kids out the house
A.
Booked the climbing and activity which was absolutely fantastic. The instructor (Kai) was superb, incredibly helpful, gave plenty of encouragement and tips not to mention his customer service skills were exceptional.
Needless to say, I would highly recommend the climbing activity and if you still have some energy then give the assault course a go.
R. B.
My 9 year old was petrified at 1st on the High Ropes but Mitch & Mikey were brilliant with her. They were so supportive & encouraging & she was soon smiling instead of crying. All the staff are great. Nice to see an attraction with a shop that isn't over priced too! Great experience for all the family.
L. A.
Very enjoyable few hours here with the kids. Went to the escape room and had an archery lesson. A bit pricey but we weren’t disappointed, children had a lot of fun. The lockers were also helpful as was the cheap parking. Ladies toilets needed a bit of tlc on the day we visited.
J. L.
Good day spent here. Friendly and helpful staff. Catered well for all ages.
Happy to recommend and would go again
M. K.
Omg
Amazingggg
Booked a day out for my sister and bro in law.
Looked so exciting online. Really good for an active person. Theres so many packages with different activities. I did basecamp + climbing. What a day! Very intense. The staff were very helpful. Prices werent too bad. Carpark is just horrendous.
The assault course we did was really good too and the monkey bars. My arms is killing!!!
Next two days you will be in pain
E. B.
Whilst it was smaller than we imagined, its jam packed with activities. My son had been given 4 activities for 2 people for a Christmas present. It was a long day for spectators, archery being the only activity we were not allowed to watch. In hindsight, would have probably done 2 activities on one day and then return for the others. In addition to the cafe at the venue, there is a building with bars/restaurants/shop within a short walk. If spectators are fancying a change of scenery whilst they are waiting around, this is a nice spot to go and overlook the lake
s. e.
Absolutely loved it, won this on o2 priorities and choose to do Basecamp which involved survival maze, escape rooms!!, Assult course and target practice. I personally have to say favourite was the assult course. We throughly enjoyed the whole experience the staff were amazing and definitely helped make our experience even more surprising as we genuinely did not know what to expect we will definetly becoming back for some of the other activities as it all looked brilliant, we wore active wear (gymwear) and trainers they're are free lockers big enough for rucksacks and coats. Vending machines through out so good to have change, they also have a little restaurant in they're and a gift shop they're is a great parking facility but you do have to pay we were they're for say 3 hours and car park cost £4.00 so not that bad. Also they're is qlot of things to do next to The Bear Grylls such as cinema restaurants like nando's, tgi's, prezzo and a Hotel alot more we had no idea what to expect all in all a great day out!
N. P.
Brilliant fun. Even better if you have a Merlin pass.
G. J.
Visited today for a friends birthday and did the Base Camp and High Ropes activies. All the staff were really professional and lovely throughout the day. Really good day out for group activities and will definitely revisit.
B.
It was the most amazing day out. All of the challenges were great but the shark dive was just awesome.
M. B.
We were given an experience voucher for Christmas for the base camp and high ropes and loved every minute of it. The assault course was exhausting so I would deffinatly say take your time!
The best bit is deffinatly the high ropes. You pretty much have free reign of the structure for the hour. We went midweek and it was very quiet but I can see how it gets busy on a weekend.
Only criticism is the carparking. £2 for the first hour then £1/hour thereafter soon adds up if you were there for a full day olfor an attraction you've already spent plenty of money on.
We will likely be back to try one or more of the other attractions.
J. s.
Had a great time! The staff are super kind, I made an error on my booking and they still allowed me to attend another course
Our climbing instructor ( Connor) was very helpful and attentive.
Definitely recommend.
S. R.
An amazing number of activities packed it a small space. There is just not e ough time...
We'll be back!
o. a.
40th birthday treat from my wife.
One word... AWESOME!!!
M. N.
I booked for IFly it was total rip off 58£ for literally less than 2 minutes ( in their misleading ad they say its for an hour) & that wasn't including photos+ video (another 15£) the video was edited & doesn't show the experience well, & the pics were even more horrible. The archary though was great & worth the value
A. L.
The staff are genuinely lovely. We we were over half an hour late, due to problems with our SatNav. We missed the Safety brief and it was the last course of the day. Sarah at reception bent backwards with some other helpful staff (Abbie and not sure of the other names!) to get us a Safety brief and on the course. They have no idea what this meant to us, as a family my daughter has been having a really tough time recently and this was our first time doing something nice in a long time. Me, my partner & 8 year old done the high ropes course. The staff on the high ropes were so reassuring and great with my nervous little one. At the end Sarah even showed my daughter the insects and gave her a little talk on them whilst I paid for our vídeo. Such a lovely lady and lovely staff. We can't wait to go back when it opens for the full experience.
I. M.
Totally awesome just make sure you listen to the instructor before going on the ifly great confidence booster for all ages
P. G.
9 seperate adventure activities including the free Assault Course. Great fun for adventurous families and individuals, including a family cafe and reasonably priced merchandise shop. Scuba diving was a great way to experience the Aquarian and see the sharks and rays up close. A great way to push ones boundaries and discover adventure in a safe and secure environment.
l. s.
All the instructors are awesome! Mitch on high ropes was outstanding. Wish him luck in his new role.
G. S.
Staff here really are an asset. Been a few times now, with different groups. Have seen each time how they help and encourage kids who are struggling with the activity.
C. D.
A very belated Christmas present!!! Great fun had by all with the Archery experience.
T. P.
Loved it, we did Ifly shooting and high ropes. You could do the assault course included in the price aswell. Would definitely recommend it. Get tickets online before u go and save money.
d. l.
Great fun at base camp. Thoroughly enjoyed ifly and diving
D. A.
Thoroughly loved my experience here, it was getting dark and I didnt want to do the high ropes anymore but couldn't get a refund, so the lovely staffs made sure I could still exchange for another fun activity of my choice. Ild definitely be back soon
T. F.
Was quite anxious before, but the instructors were extremely reassuring and helpful. Had a great rush of adrenalin and tried the higher up flight. It was fantastic, I was not disappointed, whatsoever. Would highly recommend this.
G.
The experience lasted a full 2 hours and was some of the best fun I've had in ages. It's laid out very well and the objectives keep you busy... It's definitely not for the faint of heart! My stand out activities were the lock in room... It was very well thought out. We got out with only 23 sec to spare and the obstacle course at the end was awesome... Also thanks Mia for a great tour.
One bad point was the mens toilets... Spotlessly clean but a very very strong urine smell!! Put it this way Bear Grylls would definitely not have a drink of it!
L. B.
Enjoyable but expensive and you don't get very long at each activity.
S. N.
Could have been better. There was a ten minute walk from the car park - that was fine, as it was a dry day, but could catch some people out. Car park was specifically for the Bear Grylls Experience, and we had a token to get validated, but this turned out to be only for a slight discount and we still had to pay £4 for under 3 hours parking. We were told to arrive 30 minutes before our booked time, but this wasn't necessary. Our two boys did the snorkel experience which they really enjoyed - the staff member friendly and helpful. There was a brief introduction, a chat about the sharks trust and then it was into the wetsuits. The changing area was well equipped (lockers, showers in the changing cubicles) and the boys and two others were taken to the tank. They thoroughly enjoyed the snorkeling, and we spectated as 1 adult per under 16 year old could go through and watch. The boys said the water temperature was fine and they were in the water for around 20 minutes. After changing, we went to the assault course. There needed to be more staff here. It wasn't busy, but the queue was slow as the same one member of staff did the brief, warm up and then set them off in twos, making the process very slow. One or two more staff members would have greatly sped this up. It was advertised that the assault course could be done as many times as you liked, but the waiting time made that impractical. The cafe area had limited choice of food and was quite cold for sitting in for any length of time (we visited in October - it was quite a cold day). Service in the shop was slow too - again lack of staff. All the styling and general look of the place was good, but for the price paid, I expected a bit more.
M. M.
Great day out for the family who like adventure and activities, but don't think this is just for kids, adults can have a blast too! Shooting, archery, obstacle course, indoor skydiving and more, all under one roof.
N. D.
Loved it with the kids had so much fun
P. T.
Entertaining, informative with responsive staff willing to oblige in all aspects.
Thanks for a pleasant venture.
J. L.
Having arrived a little late for our High Ropes session because of motorway accident, I assumed we would have a shorter time on ropes. Upon arrival, it was discovered my youngest was just short of the min. height requirement. I was disappointed as we as a family had travelled far and we could not go on the High Ropes.
Sarah (manager) was very accommodating and managed to book us into another activity even though all activities were full. I cannot thank her enough as my children thoroughly enjoyed it and when my youngest is tall enough, WE'LL BE BACK.
C. C.
The whole Bear Grylls adventure Team is Awesome, they organized a wonderful day today for our whole team. Special thanks to Vicky, Kelsey, the high ropes team and Archery you are superstars 🌟🌟🌟
A. S.
I often visit here to make use of the wind tunnel training that offer after hours. Useful for practicing skydiving techniques. Instructors are really helpful and friendly plus the price is much cheaper than the regular ifly branches.
Q. S.
It was really well organised and the staff were particularly helpful I do regret that the whole thing feels like a money grabbing machine. For example in the sky diving experience they charged an extra £8 per person to complete the high fly and then charged a further £15 for the video recording...
H. G.
Had an amazing day out here. Tried the archery, climbing and high ropes. All very fun. The high ropes was surprisingly nerve racking. Would not hesitate to recommend for a fun day out.
T. S.
Friendly staff, covid-19 restrictions followed by some staff and customers very good slection of activities with safety protocol followed. Disappointment with the cost of activities and then being charged extra for parking on top, why thy didn't follow the resort world policy for parking of spend £20, and parking is only £2.50, otherwise it would have been better
J. A.
Staff were so helpful. So many adventures in an afternoon, children were exhausted but happy. We tackled base camp, then high ropes and the climbing wall. Will be coming back for diving.
n. ..
The archery and shooting is really good.. Wud defo recommend 👍
S. M.
Special thanks to Mark our tunnel instructor - we absolutely loved our flights! ❤ Can't wait to come back to have more fun/learn some new skills 🤘 (my son was a bit apprehensive and he did his best to put him at ease) 👌
B. G.
Excellent experience. Every member of staff we met spent time to make sure we had a really great time. Will be returning soon.
a. s.
Had a great time snorkelling here. Our adventure wasn’t till later, travelling from the Wirral meant we would miss the assault course as it was closing. We asked staff if we could come back in the morning, we were really happy that they said no worries. We thought that was a great touch. The experience of snorkelling was great. It was well organised. Loved being under the water, the sharks and fish were beautiful. We saw people shark diving so that one is next on the list. Will was a fantastic host... very upbeat, professional and confident. The place itself was fantastic... really done up well. Defo want to come back with the kids as I know they would love it. Well done!
S.
Did the IFly and the Snorkel. Both really good. Staff helpful and friendly. Had to rearrange the dates multiple times due to COVID and a late train but they were really helpful and allowed us to change dates free of charge. All equipment was provided for us.
When we went the cafe had ran out of food but usually a range of sandwiches, hotdogs, sausage rolls and other food is available
j. h.
Fantastic day out. Great activities, very well themed venue and lots to try.
A. C.
We did the Skydiving indoors experience which was really good. Staff is experienced and helpful. I don't like the way they sell you an extra activity on the spot that makes you Skydive higher and with added spins. Despite they tell you about it during preparation, once you are there, it looks so fun that makes it impossible to say no.
J.
Really fun place with lots of activities to do with family and friends. Definitely reccomend
D. P.
Awesome day out! Me the kids and even the wife had a great day out!
E. L.
Awesome adrenaline rush.
Bear grills high ropes,
Pushes your mind and body.
A. A.
Great place to have fun with my kids, love their aquarium.
Will definitely go back again soon
S. B.
Great place with lots of different activities and also friendly staff and very clean
G.
Really cool aquarium with sharks. Great for kids and adults
l. d.
We booked base camp and shark dive, was one of the best experiences we’ve done and the cost was good value for money. Totally recommend to everyone. Diving instructor was reAlly informative
S. P.
Read the webpage before you go on what you need. Apparently on the information is on there when you book and not on your confirmation email, and you can get refused entry. One lady was very unhelpful on the tills. Another lady was very helpful and got my friend spare shoes so we could do the archery. Chap doing the archery was nice too. I wouldn't go out of my way to go again.
S. B.
Amazing day out. Huge thank you to Matt D at the ifly for a great experience and Jack for a thrilling flight. Will be back!
C. H.
Great choice of activities. Fairly priced. Friendly staff and a great day out.
J. C.
Amazing day out. Children said this was the best day ever.
J. P.
"Courage and kindness will help you with the tasks you will be faced with here. Important to remember the best way to face your fears, is straight through the middle. Try try try and never give up"
Z. G.
Really helpful and approachable staff. Great set up inside. Nice cafe. Reasonably priced gift shop. Great activities. Will definitely go back!
D. Y.
Excellent fun for the kids. Not a cheap day out.
J. E.
It is very cool (recommends high ropes ) and very interactive and the cafe was so relaxing
A. H.
My family and I went for the diving with sharks experience, absolutely phenomenal! Our instructors Ben and Rachel where great and helped me get comfortable when I was panicking, trust me once you get into the main tank you almost forget youre underwater.
t. b.
My children had so much fun. It was very terrifying for me
R. L.
Brilliant instructors and amazing experience no going to forget that easily!
M. G.
Loved it! Very well organised around the current COVID situation, we were made to feel welcomed and safe which is not easy.
Every single member of Staff we dealt with were friendly and professional.
The centre itself is very heavily themed around adventure as was very well done, the level of internal detail was spectacular.
My brother and I had booked to do the high wire course, which was amazing, despite the height we both felt safe the whole time while also testing our nerves and bravery. It was an hour of pure fun and adrenaline that I cannot recommend enough.
We also visited the cafe for light refreshments which was a very pleasant and themed surroundings, I thought the cafe was a little pricey but most likely inline with similar attractions.
The assault course was included in our ticket also, this was great fun but we both struggled aerobically with COVID masks on despite both being athletic, this is an unfortunate problem of the times we live in and the centre did very well to comply.
I would definitely go back and cannot recommend enough.
A. G.
Just returned from a fabulous day out this is one of the best experiences I have attended I took my three girls aged 12 and 14 we did high ropes climbing wall and archery all experiences were excellent although my girls likes high ropes better, what I found the most refreshing was the staff, on all activities their interaction, encouragement and professionalism was by far the best I have encountered thank you for a great day out although I think I might be aching in the morning :)
F. D.
Fantastic morning spent here with my 3 children. High ropes cancelled due to strong winds but children did climbing wall and archery instead. Instructors were excellent and supported my 8yr old so well. Great setting, perfect for 3 children who love a challenge. No doubt we will be returning. My highlight was a photo with Bear himself!!! 😉
J. S.
This place has plenty to offer! We booked the archery thru wowcher and added the zip lining while we were there. The assault course is available as a freebie with any other booking and let's you test how unfit you really are 🤣🤣 looking forward to going back and trying the scuba diving with sharks.
T. H.
Good, but not as good as expected. Started at the maze, didn't expect to be thrown into a larger group full of complete strangers and ended up waiting for it for half an hour eben though we had booked to start at 12. Once inside the maze was not even a maze, and for someone that suffers with anxiety, found it extremely intense. The escape room was very good fun. The archery was very short, only a few arrows and over in minutes. The assault course was also very short but was very good fun. It's expensive for what it is and the extra activities are very expensive so didn't bother with them. It was good, but it could be massively improved. Would definitely go back though.
J. C.
Great experience for my partners birthday, they made it special and really paid attention to their guests. I would say be careful with archery that your arm protection stays in place as we're both pretty bruised from it but it was such a fun day out. Definitely going back to do a shark dive and rock climbing in the future!
I. H.
I had such an amazing day here.I took my partner as part of his Christmas present and it was so much fun to just go and have a laugh, they give you more than enough time in between sessions and you're allowed to do an assault course against people if you wish, the people were very friendly, i went last Sunday and the man who did the rock climbing session was so kind and funny it was a small group which meant he took his time and helped all of us! Also very impressed with the person who can climb the rock wall in four seconds, very talented.
I have come back to work this week and recommended the experience to everyone in work and have booked another session already
J. F.
It was good but terrifying. After shouting for help after struggling on the High Ropes, I was getting a lot of help. I don't know their names. But I'd like to thank the two men who helped me through it all. I really appreciate it. ✨
i. s.
This place looks incredible! However its massively over priced.
The high ropes is good fun, as is the assault course. Relativelt challenging for all. Diving was pretty good. The tank looks very realistic. But of the 2 hour slot only about 45 mins was spent in the water. There is a 15 min induction. 15 mins to change into the wet suits. And then about 30 mins of training. One lap around the tank and you're done.
The ifly was the biggest disappointment. Of the one hour slot you only get 2 goes of hovering for about 30 seconds a go. Then they charge an additional £14 if you wana do the high fly, which only last 20 seconds and the trainer flyes you up higher and spins you around. Really dont recommend this.
All in all, i did the big 5 experience. And for the moenu paid, i felt rushed. It was on me to leave acitivites 5 mins early to make the next, it wasnt the staff being flexible around us. Disappointed!
N. W.
Great staff. Fun venue. Climbing- varied climbs - the usual clip climb but also really challenging realistic rock types and formations. Assault course also fun.
A. B.
Really well organised place and friendly staff.
Loads to do here and you have resorts world on the doorstep to make a whole day of it if with restaurants bowling and cinema. And.... Its now on the Merlin annual pass ... Yippee😜🤪
R. C.
I went indoor Skydiving and I can't wait to go again.
f. s.
Fantastic staff atmosphere just amazing thanks
L. H.
A great half day out for any budding adventurer.
R. V.
Amazing snorkeling with these beautiful creature
G. P.
Walking distance from BHX, rail, NEC and Resorts World. New adventure theme by Merlins.
M. S.
Great day. Took daughter to dive with the sharks. She had an awesome time.
T. S.
Great day. My son's 11th birthday treat and what a day. We did the shooting, the fear zone, rock climbing and the dive. All brilliant.
Only downside was the parking fee, when did we start paying for parking at places we visit or stay?
Poor really!
G. T.
What an amazing day. Talk about pushing you to your limits. The base camp activities are amazing especially if you go with a group. We thoroughly enjoyed the survival maze and breakout escape room. We did the high ropes as our hero challenge and wow what an experience. Certainly not for the faint hearted or anyone unsure of heights. But we did it 65ft 😁 and made it to the top. I would definitely reccomend for a fun and active day out. Look at those tasty crickets 🤢 yes we really did eat these 🙈
g. t.
The hour passed very quick . It was a bit like meditation because I was solely focused on getting from one platform to the next. Lots of variation. Disappointed that after the event I didn't have a photo of me to view and pay for. Apparently I was supposed to ask for one to be taken. It wasn't obvious when on the rig who was a member of staff! My wife attempted to take photos from ground level but unfortunately it wasn't me she snapped. I didn't blame her because it was a great distance.
D. S.
Did Shark swim and it was great. Usually these things feel a bit tame but this was far from tame for a completely beginner diver like myself.
M. H.
Amazing, my 2nd visit and just as good as the 1st. Go with friends or on a date! When had a party of 10 for an 11th birthday! The girls loved it!
C. S.
Terrifying and exhilarating at the same time. Definitely worth a visit!
e. a.
We visited the Bear Grylls Adventure today to celebrate 'Our Heroes' with our charity "Young at Heart" and got to meet the man himself. We went on the high ropes adventure, completed an archery lesson and exhausted ourselves on the assault course. A brilliant day thank you
M. B.
Was a great day and mainly because one of the workers named Sarah was so accommodating, Thanks soooo much, it's a breath of fresh air in a time when you get so many jobs worths. To actually have someone who's got great customer service skills, polite and accommodating.
Promote this lady immediately, thanks again x
a.
Had so much fun here with the children..we took part in the escape room experience ... we escaped with 2 minutes to spare...yaaaay...
We also did the zip wire.. kids absolutely loved it... and the adventure course was a lot of fun.
P. T.
Did the sky diving - well done . Great experience
C. C.
Excellent adventure facility for the whole family, adults and children. Easy parking facilities and good quality all round.
Worth visiting just for the aquarium.
J. S.
I really enjoyed the activities but I paid for the photos and videos from the day and now 11 days after attending I am yet to receive the files.
I have called twice and been told they will be sent over but nope still nothing received. Real shame
G. a. 2.
Not bad. Great for kids. Did the indoor sky-diving "1 hour" is actually 2 x flights of approx' 90 seconds each - but with the briefing & 4 people in the group, start to finish was 1 hour. Great aquarium and the snorkelling / scuba in with the shark's looked fun.
R. B.
Had a great day. An hour climbing knackered the pair of us out.
S. E.
First time visit. Good fun. Exciting. Good surprisingly good!
M. H.
Really fun! Great instructors. A really brilliant family day out.
F. M.
Very fun and exhilarating. I did the high ropes and archery. It was reasonably priced due to an NEC event giving us a discount.
S. M.
This is not a review on the experience but on the staff, the review for the experience will follow.
we went snorkeling and Kyle was brilliant. Very helpful. Informed us well.
J. P.
Really friendly staff and we enjoyed our time. We'll organised. Little bit pricey for the limited time you get but still overall enjoyed.
R. N.
Love it, so much fun! I will definitely be visiting again. I would recommend it to friends and family as it was a great day out. Friendly and helpful staff.
G. C.
Nicely done but very expensive. Don't do pizza during the week.....
M. C. (.
Had a lot of fun. Definitely worth a visit I've already booked to go again to do a different activity!
L. W.
Went here on a works away day, thoroughly enjoyed it, staff very friendly and helpful great fun. Would bring family back if I could get a deal for us. 😉😉
t. r.
Great fun.. We did the I-Fly and the instructors where fantastic.. Can't praise them enough
C. M.
8 year olds had a great time doing the ifly and archery. Good set up, loads to do, very helpful instructors.
N. M. (. T.
Fantastic experiences and Harry from Ifly was a top lad. That team deserve a pay rise that's for sure. They go above and beyond the job to make sure that our experiences are amazing
J. S.
What a wonderful place. My kids wanted to do everything! The staff were experienced and friendly. A Ace day out.
J. T.
I cannot recommend the iFly enough, all the staff and instructors were so kind and friendly. The experience of flying was brilliant and like nothing I'd ever done before!
S. B.
Great day out but we did feel that bits of it were a little bit unorganised. The staff were great and really helpful though and the activities were really good fun. Did the high ropes, in the rain and wind. And still loved it. Would definitely recommend it.
K. S.
Had an amazing day and defiantly returning for the other activities ! The staff were realy friendly and so well trained and professional
L. S.
All a bit rushed through but the I Fly experience was amazing
S. B.
what a fab afternoon my husband and 17 years old son have had, climbing high wire, mazes, assault courses. They were reluctant to go thought it would be "rubbish" but 5 hours they have spent; quality time together.
T. B.
Great experience and friendly helpful staff.
M. P.
A great experience for all physically fit people,
I'm 70 and my grandson is 14. Wonderful bonding adventure, highly recommend.
J. B.
What a day.....loved it. My second time here and it just gets better. Every single member of staff is happy and helpful. There is so much to do here we spent 5 hrs here and still will be back to do other activities
J. C.
Staff were good, facilities good. Activity was great.
E. A.
Expensive and the time for activities is shortened by the health and safety prep beforehand, I think this should really be added on as extra time. The high ropes no longer include zip line and its only bookable on the day. We didnt know this and wasn't able to go on it as no slots left
J.
Did the high ropes activity; hated heights before this but now will gladly go down the zipline to get there over and over again!
Also did the free assault course twice beat both my older siblings. A good day out for those involved!
C. L.
Very nice place, staff are friendly, activities are great and great area with lots of restaurants. Activities may cost a little bit more than expected but are still good value, great for family fun.
I. U.
Did the climbing, it's fun but hard. Make sure ur fit if you go.
A. B.
Fabulous, even better using my sun offer....
Would definitely go again, maybe archery next time
L. P.
5/5 had the best day of my life thanks to Aaron. Unfortunately now my life is a constant depression due to no day living up to this one.
L. A.
The staff were all very helpful and dedicated to making sure your experience is amazing. The place is very clean . I found that the high ropes was very fun and staff were located all around to help you if you got stuck.
c. d.
We went here after visiting an exhibition at the NEC Birmingham it was a surprise experience in the fly dome absolutely fantastic what an experience would do this again thankyou to the staff for a pleasurable experience just ensure to use the lockers. Well worth the walk round after the experience we were there mid week so it wasnt to busy I would imagine this is not the case at the weekends. Would go back.
C. H.
Not aware of a better high rope experience, my 13 year old loved it !!! The rest of what's on offer was all great too, and great value , shall return no doubt!!
k. m.
Great day out, my 10 year had a great time
A. S.
Indoor skydivings reslly good but it says 60 minutes, in reality youre only actually doing the skydiving part for like 2 minutes
R. J.
Staff went out of their way to accommodate our mistake, very helpful!! Shooting Instructor Connor- made the session really fun and interactive. Great day out for all ages and abilities
Y. K.
Great fun for adults and kids. Me and my 12 year old did the Archery and assault course amazing fun and tremendously helpful staff . We will be coming back to try the other activities. Also they had special offers that made it worth trying.
Ε. Δ.
Amazing experience, definitely recommend it! Although little expensive for tourist from europe, but we already knew that
J. L.
Omg loved this and was helped by Mikey who was just grrrreat xx
Z. H.
Fantastic day out with the kids. Staff were friendly.
N. M.
The experience was good me and the wife did high ropes and archery it says we got a full hour but you dont that's why I have marked it down a star and a little bit of await for the were we was suppose to start at 6:15 but ended up going at 6:30 but really good experience would definitely reccomend
J. S. M.
The place is very nice, but mostly designed for kids. For me, my favourite thing to do is going indoor skydiving, the recommendation would be to take classes if you are interested in this sport.
R. d.
ACE had to wear face mask on everything including the assault course. Feel like I lost a lung. Sweat coming out of every pore. Absolutely brilliant. Definitely recommend
S. W.
Great place for an adventure, food and drink are a little pricey but atmosphere is good and range of activities are great.

Visited 18/9/19 and wow we were so happy we made the 2.5 hour drive to visit. We did the high wires, assault course and shooting which were all good fun. The staff for all activities and reception were amazing, fun, chatty and happy to help. Will definitely be coming back.

Fantastic day out. Enthusiastic and helpful staff. Would recommend to anyone but don't drive in a manual if you're doing a lot of arm related activities. That was hard work 😓

My mum bought me the ifly as a birthday present, really enjoyed it but only had 2 short goes so wish it lasted a bit longer.

My daughter went on the I fly....was fantastic to watch..your not on very long though...

Absolutely amazing place packed with loads of fun.... quite pricey and need to pay for extra activities but 100% worth it.

Spent around 2 hours queueing and a lot of the parts felt very rushed. The high ropes, assault course and archery were fun, if a bit short. The survival maze was the cheesiest naffest thing ever!!!

Absolutely great day out and at the moment its less than half price, book in advance for all the activities you want to do as will probably be fully booked on the day you go.

Amazing experience with great instructors Rach and Will.

Really good time on the outdoor course. Also went indoor skydiving and despite what it says on the website its only 2 or 4 minutes of actual flight time

Lovely place. Challenges for all ages and abilities. Staff are very helpful and patient.

Had nice meal before our archery. Two gentlemen gave some useful tips and was very happy 😊

Fantastic family visit. We did the High Ropes and assault course. Thoroughly recommend. It is well organised, friendly and so much fun. Definitely be back to do other activities.

I gifted my partner the ALL IN PACKAGE in celebration for his 30th birthday, while I picked out the activities I did and did not want to do. What an amazing experience! He had the best day ever!!! If you like pushing yourself and trying new activities then this is for you.
Highlights are definitely the iFly and scuba diving?!

Great experience for all the family. Lots to do. Will definitely be going back

Only went there for the high ropes - I thought it was a fun experience but way overpriced, especially since you do not get much time on it.
There were 5 levels and only just got to the third when we were told we only had 10 minutes left - spent some time waiting for others to get through the obstacles which can leave you stuck.
I was also slightly disappointed you could not get any photos taken there.

Really really enjoy it here .. went part of a stag do but would return for the whole day . As you probably need long for more of the experiences . Great for familys , couples... all the activities are supervised by people who enjoy there job

Staff were great, really helpful. They all worked to make the experience as good as possible. High wires are great!

My trip here was amazing. It was so bit expensive but worth every penny. Queues are a bit long at times but good bearing in mind the popularity of the place. Disabled access I'd also very good. Thanks for the great day out
K. E.
Had the best day with my sister in law!
All of the staff were more than happy to help, every one of them would stop and talk to you!
Would defo recommend and go back again!

What a fantastic day and memories that will stay with the girls (13 yrs old) forever. Well worth the money and we would definitely go again perhaps to do the diving experience which we didn't manage to do. I fly was brilliant and the girls even ate meal worms and crickets in the maze. The staff were friendly and helpful. Fantastic!!
B. B.
Ok so its something diffrent but i wouldnt go again. I done the assault course, archery the survival maze and mystery room. It was ok
Archery you get 10 shots done in 7-10mins
Assult course a
Can be completed in 90 seconds or 9 minutes the survival maze is completed in 20 mins and mystery room in 15 mins . There is more to do i.e climbing diving and a climbing thing outside a zip line that is 40 meters long at best.

In Birmingham one and only place where you could find real adventure great value for money compare with many activities

First of all Matt in the sales office was amazing in helping sort out a trip for my large group.
The place is fantastic and every person who went thought it was incredible.
The activities are just top notch and certainly going back for more.
Top tip, don't do to much research - it may spoil some of the surprises 😁🤔🙄

Great,

Excellent day out. I did the shark dive with my daughter and it is a wonderful experience. The instructor was great, patient and good humoured. Price was very reasonable for such an experience. Lots of other things to do too, recommended for a nice family day out.

Went for my birthday on the opening day Amazing experience As I was the oldest person to have a go I got to be on Evening ITV Midlands as the girl on the wing in my former years Age therefore no barrier and I was well looked after so recommend you get up there and facilities are very good

Probably one of the best adventure parks around. Great venue, excellent staff and wallet friendly

Brilliant day, staff were lovely, activities where amazing, would of been 5 stars but the timing wasnt very good, didnt get to do all the things we had planned as most activities where running late, could do with being a bit more organized
C. O.

Really good time on the high ropes course. All the staff are super friendly and welcoming. Good value, kids love it, highly recommended.
P. B.
Good day out, wish diving was longer and less people in the group
C. L.
Great family friendly fun. Informative staff. We did Basecamp, highropes, leap of faith and I fly. I fly was my favourite but all good fun and the time flew by. Food and drinks overpriced as usual but apart from that we thoroughly enjoyed our day, thank you 😀😀
K. J.
Our son, loved this place. Well organized and very safe. We went on a discount, which made it affordable.
S. B. Y.

The iFly indoor skydiving is awesome. Great staff who manage to get even the most clumsy people floating around in a massive fan.
