I have had an excellent experience with Word360, the staff is very supportive and they are professional to complete the assignments. I got a translation job done by them about two years ago, I had some more translations done by them again just because I had a very good experience with them. I certainly recommend them the prices are not very high either.

I have had the opportunity to translate official documents with Word360 in more than one occasion, and I have to say that I am very much satisfied with them. They have become my go-to translator anytime that I need to translate an official document. They always respond extremely fast, and translate within the time frame (even before when I needed it urgently). Also, the people working there are very nice and helpful :) Highly recommended!

It is a great company to join and work for and most of the staff is friendly professional and helpful . However , like some of the senior interpreters mentioned that it is high time for an increase in pay rate especially in this unprecedented time as we are at the forefront and working non stop and supporting key workers during pandemic . There has been increase in salary for frontline workers and the same should go for interpreters and more bookings should be providdd to interpreters who have given five star service and are dedicated solely to this company and its three main income source . Rest I would highly recommend someone to use the services they provide . They got five star interpreters and the company is excellent . Thank you

Good company to work for
Friendly and helpful staff always on the phone.
Always paid before the end of the month.
Available work during the weekdays.
However, there are a few things I'd like to see this company improve on - such as
I have been working for this company for several years and the hourly rate pay has remained the same. There's been no increase in our hourly pay even though the National Minimum Wage in that time has seen 2 or 3 separate increases.
The option of cancelling bookings as long as it is over 24 hours away should be available on the current app.
Experienced / Senior Interpreters should be on a higher rate than someone who is new to the company.

I've been working as a freelance interpreter for almost year. I enjoy the experience, and I recommend Word360 as an employer. For convenience, I'll list my comments in phrases in bullet points:
Interpreting team:
1. very professional and highly efficient (e.g. phone calls often answered within 10 seconds in my experience)
2. friendly and very helpful (e.g. always happy to double-check/clarify booking details, helped me to find cover for a number of upcoming bookings when my availability changed after I accepted offer for a fulltime job, negotiated booking times between me and the client so that the needs for both parties are fulfilled)
3. great communication skills (e.g. clear and timely responses, used a range of contact methods to ensure messages were confirmed/passed on efficiently)
4. resolve issues quickly, look after interpreters (e.g. ready to offer support after sensitive bookings, listened carefully and helped me pass on feedback about a client's inappropriately action)
5. respect professional boundary and ensure interpreters' personal details are not passed on to clients without permission
Processes:
1. policies and processes are established and confirmed in writing (i.e. no grey area, no ambiguity), clear (very clear about rules, professional standards and expectations) and easy to check (file available in print and electronically)
2. using software to manage bookings, timesheet processes and availability update; software is user friendly, convenient and very efficient
3. payments were *always* on time; payment related queries were dealt with very quickly
4. high quality induction training sessions for all interpreters, including PPT-aided introductory talk, scenario examples, group discussions, extensive Q&A, software demonstration, and a test at the end of session

I've read some negative comments about the rate of pay. Personally I think some of the comments are a bit extreme, and I think it makes sense to take the following points into consideration. These advantages certainly makes me feel the rate of pay is acceptable to me as a freelancer working on an ad hoc basis and unable to spend too much time on marketing and the admin side of things.
1. With the platform set up and managed by the company, it costs a Word360 interpreter very little time to source bookings, negotiate rules (e.g. cancellation policy) and prices, chase payments and sort out other admin processes. As all of these admin tasks do take much time and efforts to sort out, when the time and efforts are taken into consideration, an independent interpreter could end up earning not too much more than the Word360 rate of pay.
2. payment is *guaranteed* as long as you adhere to the company rules (i.e. no stress dealing with payment issues from uncooperative clients; no need to chase payment)
3. a reliable source of booking is, again, guaranteed (i.e. no need to marketing yourself, source clients and obtain a long-term contract yourself), and you can always reject bookings that are inconvenient without worrying that you will lose clients as a consequence. If your service is high in quality and you are reliable, you will always receive quite a lot of booking invitation -- it is certainly so in my experience.
