Reviews of Upside Down House - Brighton
S. E.
A great experience. Definitely worth doing.
We visited here after taking advantage of a Groupon deal (entry for 4 was £12) instead of the £5 per person door price.
To be honest, we'd walked past this so many times and just thought it looked quirky but didn't really think much else of it.
You enter and straight away your brain starts playing tricks on you. The were staff on hand to help you get the most out of your time there and help you take the most entertaining photos that you want.
A very good time.
Word of warning, do not do this after a heavy night out. We went a little hungover and our stomachs were not happy 🤣
A. P.
Really good fun! Well worth the wait (if you're willing to fork out on a fast pass you can skip the queue altogether though.)
Staff were lovely and helped come up with some great pic ideas!
K. D.
Lovely place, with nice staff who were helpful and was happy to take pictures of us. £5 entry per person and you get 10 minutes downstairs and 10 minutes upstairs. They were also good at only letting a certain number of people in at a time so it wasn't crowded and we had space to take pictures.
G. M.
We had great fun getting into all sorts of positions to get best possible photo effects. You feel really disorientated when you are inside but our staff guide was brilliant and so patient helping everyone to get the most from the experience. Its very well done. Recommended 👍
A. T.
Upside down house was a fun experience! They allow 10 people on each floor at any time, so there will be a queue outside accordingly. The standard tickets are £5 per person but you can pay double for the fast track and avoid the queue.
You will have 10 minutes on each floor to take photos and you simply need to rotate your photos 189 degrees to see the result.
You might feel a little dizzy when you’re inside specially on the 2nd floor, but it was a fun experience.
The staff on the 2nd floor was kindly offering to take pictures, so you’ll be able to get a family / friend photo!
S. B. P.
It's so much fun for kids and adults! We've been there 2 times before and we love it! We got 10% discount St the till which is a bonus.
C. C.
Good fun! It's all about the photos and for the best effect you need to capture both the floor and the ceiling. Then, when you flip the photos they should look great. Take a decent camera phone or an SLR that has a wide lens as you'll struggle to get good shots otherwise. Pick a quiet time if possible as you only need a few families in there to be tripping up over each other and experiencing unintentional photo bombs. We paid £5 for a family ticket which was fair value and we managed to take pics in each of the themed corners within about 20 mins. Definitely worth the experience.
T. J.
Absolutely loved having fun in the house and the customer service was excellent because I had booked on the wrong day and advised the company by email and the rescheduled for the day I should of book with no quibble at all. A must visit for anyone.
H. R.
Lots of fun to be had. Staff were very friendly and helpful. They helped us to get the best out of our experience, by showing us the positions to get into for some awesome pictures. Would highly recommend as something to do when in Brighton.
T. C.
Surprisingly fun. Went there at a time when it was empty so we had the two floors to ourselves. Otherwise it would’ve been much less enjoyable because it’s not very big inside. Avoid peak hours to make sure you make the most out of it.
Staff were very helpful and helped us take photos.
r. r.
Such a place to experience! Great experience. We waited almost an hour to get in ticket was £5 there was express entry for 9.50£ aswell.
K. T.
Decent fun! Basically a place to take quirky pictures. You end up being held downstairs for 10 mins which is far too long. If no queue I would go in but not worth any real time queuing!
t. t.
What a fantastic place a wonderfully strange experience but thrilling being in a house totally upside-down, photographers will love this, the ultimate selfy without the special filters, most definitely worth a visit when in Brighton and forward walk on the sea front, it's remarkable from the outside but even more on the inside
C. W.
You queue for a very long time, its strange being crammed in on each floor with a bunch of people but you can get some fairly decent pictures.
The fast track track lane and offer deals should be closed as when you have tickets already you are made to queue with everyone else...
L. a. D.
Great fun, the staff were really helpful, fabulous idea for something to do that's different!
d. s.
You may think whilst in the long qué (with potentially irritable kids and sunshine beating down on you...is it worth it......yes it is..... although only 20 mins allocated inside, the photos are worth it
Make sure you take water or a drink, especially if queing in hot weather
Just under a fiver... value.to get the photos
C. S.
Great idea, kids and grown ups loved it! Be prepared to queue as there are no allotted time slots, which would've made it better. Open 10am - 8pm. 1 hour queuing and 20 mins inside the house. There is a play park just out of sight, which we wished we had noticed whilst we were in the queue! Save 50p per ticket by booking online, although this does not speed up the queue! Something a bit different, don't forget your phone!!! Worth a visit! Just opposite the West Pier and next to the i360.
P. D.
Was good fun, did not have to wait long at this time of year. Numbers limited in the house so not crowded. 20 mins allowed for visit, which is ample as its not very big. Staff very helpful in showing us the best places and angles to take photos and also how to edit them on your phone and turn upside down etc. They were not taking photos themselves so no hard sell on buying pics from them. There is an opportunity to upload and send pics to family and friends on the website if you wanted to do later. Very different experience and I'd thoroughly recommend a visit.
I. P.
Good fun. Took some nice photos, too. Mainly because of the very helpful staff, who were prepared to take charge and tell us the right poses to make.
A really nice way to spend 20 minutes. And at £5 a person a very cheap way of having a memorable experience.
Highly recommended.
C. P.
So much fun! My almost 8 year old loved it. Was great creating different photos. Reasonably priced at £4.50 each…
Staff on hand were very helpful and advised best ways to get the good photos!
Downside is it is very small… was ok for us as it was very quiet but I can imagine at busy times it can be a bit of a nightmare…
D. W.
The initial novelty is quickly replaced by the question "why"? The answer is a money making novelty experience for a reputable charity. Entry is £5 per person.
A. C.
Unfortunately we got there just before closing time, however is still a great place to see from the outside. Seen more adults than kids excited around it, but definitely worth visiting with your children.
L. M.
Great place to visit if you are in Brighton , staff very friendly and helpful, great advice on how to stage your photos for the best effect. It is smaller than I imagined but still packs in a lot of fun.
M. H.
Great experience and excellent customer service! I visited a few days ago and had a lovely time, it’s great fun and is well priced. The staff were excellent, especially a lovely girl with dark hair who made sure me and my family had a perfect experience by making sure my elderly relatives were looked after and going about the job with a smile on her face! Will defiantly be coming back.
P. C.
Fun place / Superb for family fun time
1. Great place for young kids
2. Value for money
3. Great place for some cool ultimate photography
4. Near to i360 , both can be covered together.
One should know
1. 20 minutes stay time only
2. Even if you book advance online , you have to wait in a queue ( that must not be the case)
3. Small place only two floor rooms
4. Together now they allow only max 12 people
O. T.
What a querky little place to visit, super fun and for only £5 pp totally worth it for some really fun photos. The lady who was working was great and offered to take photos and helped us get in some creative positions. Totally reccomend a visit here.
I.
The house is upside down even from inside so taking different upside down photos is fun. The things inside the rooms are also upside down so you get funny photos. The staff is polite and helpful. There are 2 floors where you take pics , one ground and one first floor. The rooms are very small but details are good to take photos. The house being upside down you may feel weird or disoriented when you go in. Make sure go dont have heavy meals or drink before you enter as it may cause issues. The house is not wheelchair or stroller friendly♿. The price is £5 per head for all aged 3 years and above. They give you 20 min to take photos with 10 min to each of the floor. There is generally a queue outside so make sure you book online and go.
J. P.
We where only in the upside down house for about 20 minutes but it’s great fun! Really well thought out.The
young lady in the ticket office was very helpful in making sure we knew how to take great shots and took a photo of all of us together. 100% recommend.
V. Z.
Great touristic attraction in Brighton. You feel a little bit dizzy inside but living upside-down is not that bad after all!
C. M.
we went early, a rainy Wednesday, and didn't queue. we had a lot of fun, the girl at the cashier came with us and she explained us how to take pictures, how to put us in the right position. I recommend not eating too much before you go because a bit of nausea and disorientation does. but it is strong the excitement that all passes as soon as you leave. an experience to do, if you like to play.
A.
It small House its a quick attraction when u visit bright not much can't expect from it then illusion photography..... 30 min wait for max of 20 min in the house .....Done on the list nothing much to return
e. K.
Really cool and quirky, if you are planning your trip then you can always book tickets online. Look for discounts with Google
A. B.
Great experience, really odd feeling once in the house but you'll soon adjust, was great fun for all the family, my only criticism is the queue, waiting for 1.5 hrs to get in they should have a booking system all year round we had pre booked and still had to queue.
I could see children getting bored and families walking off, lost revenue never good for business. Was hot on the day we went would been good if there was a covered area while we waited to stop getting hot while we waited so long. I would of given it a 5 star review if we didn't have such a long wait.
J. M.
Good fun. Got some good pics.
There is just one tiny thing....I am 5ft 2in, so the things like the toilet seat and bed pics weren't as good as my hubby's, because they were too high! Dosnt quite have the same effect in the photo, if you are on the short side. Having said that, we enjoyed it.
B. B.
Had an amazing time here, the staff were really friendly and informative and suggested different positions to try and get the best from our experience. They even offered to take photo's of all of us so we were in the photos together. Very reasonable price and a good selection of souvenirs which you can order online. Waiting time was a little longer if itd busy but with an open ticket from 10am-8pm, you can come back when the queue has gone down! Would highly recommend!
K. R.
🤩 Woww! Magical place for the all the travellers for Brighton ! If you go to Brighton you must visit this ! What a creativity and architecture 🤌🏻
M. P.
Great photo opportunities! The member of staff was really friendly and took photos of us together and gave tips on how to pose. Made me feel slightly dizzy but we were warned that could happen.
R. T.
Had s great time exploring and taking snaps in the upside down house. Thoroughly recommend it
A. G.
Fabulous experience and so cheap too!! Photos are amazing and it gave us a real giggle on our date day! Staff and brilliant aswell
E.
Just visited the place! It's a very cute and unique experience. Ruby, one of the employees there, was so so nice, helpful and willing to take us as many pictures as we wanted and give us great ideas to pose in an upside down house, haha!
Thank you Ruby for helping us create a lovely memory!
A. G.
Brilliant fun. Loved our pics. Staff were good and took photos of both me and my husband.
B. S.
We really enjoyed our time in the upside down house. It was a Saturday that we went there, about 10.30am and the queue wasn't too bad, we waited about 20 mins.
The guy working there was lovely, very friendly and helpful. He gave us ideas for different photos, how to get the best shots and took a couple for us so we could both be in the photo.
You are given 10 mins on each floor which ia ample time. They only allow so many in a time, which makes it easier to get your photos with no one else in the shot. We didn't feel rushed at all and had ample time for what we wanted.
I'd highly recommend visiting, it's really good fun.
R. A.
Great photo opportunities. Good fun. Guide was really helpful and gave us loads of ideas. We had a voucher to use saved on entry fee.
M. B.
This was my second visit to the Upside Down House. My grandchildren and I love it there. Excellent experience apart from the long wait. Worth it though. The children loved taking pics and then turning them round to see the amazing results.
J. L.
Great experience, kids loves it. Made even better with the chap navigating us round the installations telling us the best poses. Definitely worth the visit
B. C.
Ok for a bit of fun. £5 to get in. Limited to 20 minutes though. Took a few photos inside that threw a few friends & family. Small place with only a ground & first floor. Floors are aren't level & make you feel woosy.
M. G.
The house was a building we have seen often and we always looked at it and thought, what mayhem must have happened tha they decided to preserve this what looked like a natural disaster. It couldn't be further from the truth. The chap who served us asked if we have done this experience before. I of course said no as I thought, I wasn't around long enough to have remembered this piece of history.. hehe take lots of pictures he said... oh OK so off we went with cameras in toe and an optimism that makes even the happiest doggy look like it's looking for parking.. click click touch hold on to stuff and smile... that's all I can say. I never knew that something so odd can be such a mind blowing experience. Great day and super to have been able to make mayhem with the photos to the point whereby my friends are now saying their brain can't comprehend the photos...... love it love it lived it.
S. D.
interesting concept......inverted house......nice place for clicking photos
P.
Great experience to go in this place, the staff were excellent. Note you only get 10 minutes (which is understandable) to take some photos which can be a problem if you get stuck behind someone that wants millions of photos!
Definitely worth a visit.
D. W.
There's one or 2 things that have been missed in the House... such as kitchen curtains, the sprinkler (which I can only assume is not avoidable), the headphones hanging, plug sockets... its not the end of the world but just to point it out.
We thoroughly enjoyed it but I did think I was going to bring up my coffee when I came out as it really does make you feel out of sorts.
I would definitely say get fast track tickets if going after 10.30am and the weathers nice. We had to wait an hour (which could have been worse) as its 20mins per 12 people in the house, 10mins up and 10mins down in the house 🏠
T. P.
I've always liked the museum but just feel it isn't enough , yes it's free to residents but if your paying money to visit not really sure it's worth it. It's not a big museum but I did enjoy the walk around and the latest exhibits.
C. H.
We had a great time in the upside down house... the gentleman that took us in, was lovely and so helpful..he showed us how to get the best pictures and even took some of us together.well worth the money and the experience.would definitely recommend.the children had a great time.
T. H.
Absolutely amazing experience. So much fun creating different poses. The staff were really helpful. Afterwards the pictures were really great.
E. P. J.
A really nice place, supporting a really nice cause (with an unsupported house!). Leaving aside the fun of taking pictures pretending you are upside down, it makes you challenge some fundamental beliefs. All it takes is to look at your world 180 degrees apart for a few minutes.
K. H.
Laura was our guide, polite, helpful and did her job very well.Even managed to take a picture for us.
Well worth the entrance fee for the experience.
O. A.
So much love the place.
Be careful you might get giddy afterwards
Took alot of nice photos.
The staff were amazing and helpful
K. H.
We had great fun. Definitely take the advice from the staff to get the best pictures.
Y. J.
It was amazing staff very helpful in taking pictures for you inside would advise advance tickets in summer season or weekend would go in again, reasonably priced to
S. B.
I personally went very giddy queasy and felt weird but overall was fun got great pics as my son was with me he's 25 so fun for all ages the lady in the kiosk very friendly and helpful
C. M.
£5 per person to roam around this trippy house for as long as you like. Very strange and disorientating experience. Friendly staff will take photos of you doing stupid poses if you ask (flip the photo back round later to make it look like you are upside down instead of the house). You must visit this if you are nearby, there really is nothing else like it.
E. D.
My family and I spend some really good time in this Upside Down House! At first, we were a little confused — the floor of the house is placed at an angle, so it was a new experience for us. The worker there was very friendly and helped us, giving some ideas for photos and taking them for us! We were really surprised that they helped us, but this was a lovely thing to do. As a result, we have some really funny pictures and great memories from such an unusual place.
m. W.
Fun for a first time experience. Very hot and somewhat claustrophobic. But such incredible fun for the kids. Not expensive. Worth a go.
S. W.
Brilliant! Be warned though, it REALLY does make you dizzy 😂 crazy how such a simple concept can make you so disorientated. Staff were ace and so friendly. The staff member in with me took photos and even helped with tips on how to get the best photo. Great fun.
W. K.
Amazing. So much fun and the staff were very kind and helpful
T. H.
Really good. Something different but really fun and fun for both adults and kids. Staff are lovely and helpful.
Location right on sea front.
Just amazing
J. W.
One of the most original and fun ways to spend half an hour. The staff were great in helping us to get some amazing photos that are still making us chuckle days later. Well worth the admission fee.
N. A.
We arrived as it opened and queued for about half hour. So glad we came early as I can imagine the queues are mental. It was a fun experience, but I think you are given far too much time in the house, 20 minutes. We found ourselves standing around downstairs for ages before we could go upstairs. You'd really only need 5 minutes up and down stairs, as it's not that big. Then the queues wouldn't be so big. But it was fun anyway
P. S.
Who doesn't like to get photos clicked on upside down house, which is just close to beaches and i-360.
s. a. m.
It was so much fun and the staff were super helpful telling us how to pose and taking pictures…. Posted it on Instagram and Facebook and so many friends want to go and thought it looked awesome 🤩
N. B.
Mind boggler, literally. Not cheap but not too expensive, have a go if you fancy a mind bender experience for 15-30 minutes.
L. G.
Had an excellent time, very strange feeling when you first entre & start walking around. Definitely recommend visiting & wasn't expensive either. Was expecting the rooms to be separate but didn't spoil the visit at all.
M. M.
Great fun , I would really recommend that place , worth to visit. However the time 20 minutes for each slot is definitely not enough !
L. S.
Great fun! A short trip, but worthwhile to do something different. Will think of ideas and visit again 😊👍
M. R.
Brilliant. Really good fun, reasonably priced and the staff were friendly and helpful. We'll definitely visit again.
L. W.
Well, we laughed a lot! Great staff and awesome 📸 pictures. Def worth a visit 🙂
H. S.
Felt dizzy the moment someone said the word dizzy ! It's a great little photo opportunity they let the right amount of people in at a time so it isnt over crowded really fun thing to do and very cheap
M. M.
Unreal experience. We enjoyed it so much. The best part of it is when you turn your pictures upside down to see yourself upside down.
M. M.
What a fantastic time we had at the upside down house…the staff made this experience absolutely brilliant with great ideas for hilarious photos…well worth the wait to get in 😃
M. B. マ. (. C. T. P.
Funny and amazing. Like today's life : upside down 😁
A. B.
A great spot to stop off at when you're in Brighton. Had a great time and the staff were brilliant. They offered ideas and helped us take a few amazing photos.
D. D.
Good clean fun for 5 pounds a head. Lots of happy laughter 😁
m. j.
Loved it...quite surprised as I have just a little bit knowledge of this type of monuments but such an amazing view....
J. G.
Really good but a timed entry would make the experience much better especially with young children.
F. T.
Really interesting place for a quick visit (if you stay for any longer than 10 minutes, you will feel dizzy).
N.
Great experience and helpful staff.
I'd advise going outside busy hours to take photos
D. M.
Staff really helpfull and friendly, not massive place but big enough because can leave you feeling bit disorientated. Great fun for photos!
A. N.
We liked it and it was a laugh taking photos. This is all this is tho..a photo opportunity, there is nothing to visit or see. Its expensive for what it is.
S. H.
Great fun and got some awesome photos. The kids loved it
s. t.
Fun day out definitely recommend a visit to this attraction friendly helpful staff nothing was to much for them.
L. C.
Such a fun experience would highly recommend, the photos are just brilliant
L. W.
Great place! So good for cute photos, lovely staff.
S. S.
Great experience. Fantastic photos and unforgettable memory of out first visit to Brighton
C. S.
I found it very cool and fun! The house is little but there is so much that you can do in it. The staff was super helpful by giving us a lot of good suggestions.
K. S.
It is really fun and interesting.to see up down the house it is really good experience
D. G.
Staff unbelievable co-operative in taking photos which we show off now. Poses not always as good as they might be so take care when you are choosing upside down positions
S. F.
Amazing place to visit as it's not what we expected the house was slanted and it really is disorienting. You can take crazy pics or funny videos. Even outside you can take some crazy pics great visit.
C. V.
A bit of breaze, but great place to unwind, great location 😄
H. B.
My husband and I went to the Upsidedown House and had great fun taking silly pictures! When you first walk in it can make you feel queasy, but you get used to it! It’s very clever and a great little thing to do! We went on a rainy day on a Saturday morning and it was nice and quiet! Best time to go is when it’s quiet so you have lots of room to take great pictures! Definitely go visit!
C. M.
Really fun experience, small but lots of picture opportunities.
D. B.
Brilliant place to get some fantastic photos, can make you feel a little funny but well worth it.
G.
£5pp on the door. Something different and good fun, can get some great photos!
J. B.
Queues can get quite long, regardless of whether you've bought a ticket in advance or not.
The staff are friendly and helpful and can advise on best poses and will help take photos of required.
The room layouts are very detailed and once you rotate your photos 180 degrees you will have an extraordinary image to baffle your friends.
A reasonable priced attraction that's a bit different!
E. P.
Lots of fun and a great way to spend an afternoon. Would highly recommend!
O. S.
The staff was excellent.
Help us in positions and took photo of whole family .
Very kind and friendly member of staff
B. Ś. b. l.
Fantastic experience, very funny place for family and for nice photos
J. R.
Fantastic. It makes your head confused when you go. Great fun for the family. Will be back in the summer time.
R. M.
It was really fun and we got lots of pictures to confuse our friends. Highly recommend for a kool photo op.
S. S.
The experience was fantastic but i think you should be able to book a time slot
S. B.
Really different, & interesting & fun, makes u feel a bit wobley😊
D. C.
Definitely worth it, friendly staff too!
J. H.
Great fun! £5 a ticket no matter your age! You're in there for about 15 mins! We had a fab time 👌
S. Y.
Great if you don't have vertigo. Loads of fun.
B. B.
We had so much fun taking pictures definitely go again
L. R.
Great fun, once you get your balance! Brilliant photo opportunities for young and older alike. Staff are really helpful and help to create photo poses. Good value and good fun :)
K. B.
I thought this was going to be rubbish, especially after waiting for an hour in the wind and rain, but the 3 of us actually had a good laugh. The staff are friendly and give tips on how to pose, for better photos. Only £5 each for 20 minutes, which is enough time to be silly and get those fun photos. You use your own camera phone to take the photos.
B.
Mildly interesting to look at. Not sure what the point is but it does make for an interesting photo opportunity.
K. K.
Superb place to visit...
Entry Fees: £5.5 & Express Entry:£10
S. G.
Lovely place to go to break up your day and hide from the rain. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Would love to go again
S. P.
Nice experience. The house is small enough and it makes you to feel a bit dizzy. Worth to visit!
S. J.
It was indeed fun! Due to covid restrictions they are allowing only 12 people at a time. 6 on ground floor and 6 on upper! And you get around 10 minutes on each floor to explore and click photos. Attendants are very friendly and helpful. They suggested few poses and photos turned out fabulous! Though waiting time is bit long due to this restrictions.. but its worth the visit.. different experience all together 🙂
S. M.
Amazing experience .. daughter and I enjoyed this little house … The staffs were super helpful and took our photos … Great customer service 😃
Will go again definitely
S. C.
Would defo recommend it is a fun 30 minutes for the whole family
D. C.
Nice place! Very friendly beach, nice sight and with a lot of stores for having some snacks. Recommended!
P. R.
It was ok. Staff were great and friendly.
Was a very long queue and took over 90 minutes to get in. Staff came out regularly to advise that they would accept tickets for the next three months if people did not want to wait.
What would have been nice is if people that had pre-booked had a priority over people paying on the day. It's a bit unfair to pre-book then not be able to get in due to the long queue and time constraints.
Wasn't an issue for us as we are only local and waited anyway.
The actual attraction? It was ok. Probably not worth more than the £4.50 each that we paid.
C. P.
Small place but with very intense experience!
m. o.
Had a lot of fun in the upside down house.Got some great photos that the staff helped us with.Great for the young and old alike.
C. R.
Well worth £5. Take photos then rotate them after. Go on top toes & stretch for good effect. Get someone to take loads of photos. Very nice lady in the paying booth from Lithuania who helped us alot b4 going in!
A. S.
Was ok, got a couple of fun pics but queued for almost two hours which was not worth it and disproportionate to the time inside. You get a max of 20 mins inside which is enough. Staff were friendly.
M. F.
Personally not for me. Not worth the value, especially when paid in advance and then still having to queue for over one and half hours to enter.
Annoyed that grown adults were queue jumping with other adults friends. This could have been managed. Plus I totally understand covid has impacted to some degree the management and throughout of the queue.
H. S.
Great place to get few pic . Is amazing to have right in the beach.
S. W.
Myself and my partner were the first ones to go on the 17th when it opened. The lady at the desk came into the house to help take photos of us both giving us Props on how to stand and pose. It's such a brilliant experience. So much fun but prepare to feel dizzy 😂 well worth the money
A. T. K.
Creative!
I liked the staff there ... she was really helpful and passionate.
C. B.
Very good place to visit, staff very helpful, assisting with taking correct photos.
N. P.
Amazing images created from this location! Would definitely recommend!
K. K.
Great fun, shame the couple that were there before us thought they owned the house and would not leave to allow others to also enjoy the experience of taking different photos.
The lady in charge was however very helpful and took some great photos and gave us great ideas. she made it worthwhile for sure. Great thank you to her - I wish I took her name.
D.
Absolutely fab and such fun. Staff so friendly and helpful getting some fantastically funny pic. A definite must go to attraction
T. J.
A really good place to just be yourself we're everyone is happy with whoever you are. No matter what. 😁 😁 😁
s. s.
Great idea and good fun. You can make funny pictures with your friends and make a good memory.
S. T.
Well worth the visit. Went with my gorgeous niece and we had a lot of fun. Staff very helpful explaining where and how to take the best pictures and they're funny and fab. Great fun.
A.
Good fun, but you don't get enough time to fully enjoy it before the staff hurry you on. And feeling so rushed and pressured, we didn't get as good photos as we could've.
S. G.
Son and I loved it, made my head go a it funny but over all something short and sweet
C. B.
Awesome idea and so funny to feel dizzy when you are inside. A good dizzy. Great fun and pics
S. J.
Great place for some fun photos. The girl working there was very helpful. Offered to take photos for us and how to pose for photos.
C. J.
Quite underwhelming, looks a bit grubby, scruffy and tired inside. Fun for a few photos and ten minutes wander around. Welcome the artistry and innovation though.
J. L.
It was really entertaining and enjoyable for all ages.
My only negatives is that we had a 45 minute wait, which would be fine if we had gone during a warmer time of the year.
I also felt very sorry for a gentleman in a wheelchair we saw; he was able to enter the first ground floor room, which was not as interesting as the rest of the building.
Please correct me if you have a method for disabled visitors to access the upper floor.
J. P.
We had such a good time here last night! I took my 13yr old daughter and three friends and they loved it. Fantastic staff (Jack - can’t thank you enough!) helped to make sure the girls knew how to get the best shots and even took photos for us which turned out to be amazing! I cannot praise this place enough - wonderful people who genuinely want you to have the best time - would def recommend!!
A. O.
Amazing attraction in Brighton for families.
S.
We had the best time there! It really is an amazing experience to go to if you are in Brighton.
It was made more amazing by the guy who worked there and I am so sorry but I'm writing this hours later and it's either Joe or Jack but it began with a J and he should be a professional photographer because he knows all the angles to take the best pictures! We wouldn't of had a clue otherwise so he made the whole thing more of an experience than just taking pictures. It was so much fun and it should always be on the seafront and I would love to go back and try different outfits and pictures! Thanks for a great experience and would highly recommend.
P. S.
Must see when in Brighton! Such a fun experience. Come when it's cloudy or when the weather isn't so great so you don't have to line up and can have the whole place to yourself!
H. J. C.
It was a great experience..
M. H.
Interested place to go and go into with kids. Staff helpfull
B. M.
Great fun, great staff, helped us get the right pictures
J. T.
Fun and unusual activity during a Brighton visit. Great friendly staff on hand to help you get the best photos. Not suitable for those instead on their pins though
V. P.
My children really liked the upside down house.
S. B.
Great place for a bit of fun. Take plenty of photos. Only a fiver to get in 👍
C. D. S.
Wonderful time had by all.adults and children alike
T. B.
So much fun and great photos
C. B.
Nice funny little house on brighton seafront
L. B.
Fun 20 minutes worth it for £5 entry. We were all entertained.
H. M.
Very cool, you have people playing instruments next to it sometimes, its like a free live show!
It is a good spot to have a bit of shade as well when the sun is scalding hot.
P.
Good place to click pictures. Unique upside down house concept. It's only paid if you want to go inside else is free to click pics outside
G. C.
The upside down house is a fantastic place to make some very memorable photos. It's not going to take up much more than half an hour but it's all about the strange thought provoking pictures that will last a lifetime. Well worth a visit be prepared to be laying on the floor in front of complete strangers.
W. S.
Great concept, kids love it, brilliant
M. H.
Good price, a fun way of spending 20mins if you are in Brighton. Don't expect too much.
B.
Really good experience. Worth the wait!
C. L.
Awesome, Fun, inspired. What a splendid idea. We had lots of fun. £4.50 pp online, but £5 at door; still great value for money.
Photography allowed of outside and inside of the house.
s. b.
Great experience, probably appreciate it more after you leave & view the photos, staff was very friendly and helpful!
S. R.
Absolutely brilliant idea! Got some lovely photos with friends. It does make you feel disoriented though so please beware and read all signs before going in to check if it's for you. Staff are very attentive and helpful. They work on a one in one out situation so it's never crowded. Such a lovely little place right by the sea.
D. C.
Unique place to go and it won't cost you a fortune.
D. R.
It's a incredible place! I Love it!
F. V. L. B.
Jack and team are brilliant. Such a great concept and worth the visit if your heading to Brighton
B. C.
Fun place and good value for the price.
A. A.
£5 for both adult and child tickets. Parking 2 minutes off the walk . Nice place to spend maybe 30 mins with family or friends, anything more then that might make you feel sick 🤢 as the illusion gets to you the whole time there . Opens early and closes late . Very funny pictures and a unique experience. worth at least one visit .. enjoy
L. P.
It's worth a visit but not disability friendly as it's very small inside and has a spiral staicase. Am glad I went in although there was a que.
p. f.
The upside down house is great! it disorients you at first but you have to give yourself time to get used to it (don't understand the review that it wasn't long enough - there was no time limit and you got help and advice if you wanted to take photographs of yourself on the ceiling etc).It is a really cool concept limited only by your imagination. The detail and layout is fantastic, especially the first room you enter which is of course the attic, which I only thought about on the way out. Jack, the guide, was really friendly and helpful, and gave lots of interesting background information. The ticket person was also very friendly and welcoming, It is a mysterious experience for anyone interested in surrealism or strange environments in general. children will definitely benefit from two visits - the second time they will better understand what they are doing when they pose for photos. It is good value: you can't even buy a pint for a fiver in central Brighton!
E.
The queue was quite a wait to get in, but so worth it! It was great fun inside and the lovely staff helped us with so awesome photos!
k. k.
Fantastic place visited today very helpful and polite staff
H. L.
A fab place to go. We went about 11am and didn't have a long queue. Staff were helpful and friendly
T. B.
Novel little tourist attraction which is good fun for 30mins or so. Wouldn't be great on a busy day due to the space and angles needed for good pictures. But we had a great time as a family.
A. E.
Brilliant upside down fun, highly recommend.
H. E.
I had a lovely time with my husband in this house. we had a groupon reservation and it was a lovely experience. Make sure to hold things on top of ur heads and for girls, better put ur hair in a bun because having ur hair down ruins the upside down illusio. Rose was very helpful giving us advise on how to take good pictures and she actually helped us take many fun crazy pictures 😍 Loved it and I recommend it 👍🏻
R.
Very happening place. Drunken behavior can be observed in the evenings, but safe to wander. After all it's a hippie town ☺️ fire dance, rollarscating adults, yeah ;) boomboxes etc are common sights...
M. k. G.
It was amazing. Love to see and enjoyed.
K. R.
Great fun for a £5! Just be prepared to wait in a queue. Place can get busy at a times and you may struggle to find a moment without strangers walking in front of your camera. Nevertheless, grate pic opportunity!
G. C.
Some great photo opportunities to be had here.
F. C. (. P. L.
What a laugh! Came here with my adult family and really enjoyed it! The staff inside helped take photos and where really friendly. Had about a 20 minute wait to get in but as it was bank holiday we kind of expected that. Plus it was nice to limit the number of people going in so your shots arnt photobombed by other people. love it! You can buy tickets online which saves you 50p per ticket (£4.50) but doesn't allow you to skip the queue.
Z. H.
Good fun! You get about 20mins to go around, it feels weird but it's good if you are looking for something different to do.
A. B.
Ud house uk is so much fun and great for the whole family to enjoy some time together creating crazy funny memories. We enjoyed our visit to udhouse brighton they have a fee locations around uk.
K. K.
Very nice and entertaining place
I. R.
Went to Brighton on the 12th July as a family of 6 and stumbled across the upside down house. We didn’t have a pre booked slot so went to buy tickets from the kiosk. The lady there was so amazing. Mentioned that we can buy on groupon at a discounted price as there website was showing sold out. Took pics of us inside and showed how to get the kids Into the correct poses. The house does make u dizzy buts it is an awesome experience. Would def recommend this as a place to visit. Again a big thanks to the lady who was at the kiosk who helped us with the groupon booking and pics.
A. T.
Fantastic experience staff really helpful Inc beast way to take your photos and how to get the best shots highly recommend for the family of all ages
m. n.
Different but fun just wished I was not being rushed but apart from that it was good
I. M.
Great fun. Jack was great. And patient!
s.
It's ok if you have 20mins to spare but after the novelty of seeing things stuck to the ceiling is over it's a bit like time to go. Not for me wish I'd saved my money.
T. G.
I like the idea, its located well, and the staff were great. However. It's small so not a great deal to do and expensive so I can't give it 5 stars. It's a 1 trick pony so we will probably not go again. The worse thing was the wait to get in 40mins and I don't think that was a busy day.
S. D.
Loved it! For older kids this is perfect. It's all about a great photo opportunity. Very disorienting at first but great fun. Worth a visit.
E. B.
Great fun. Great for pictures.
Try to get there early to avoid queues.
H. F.
There's an upside down house on Brighton beach/seafront.
We didn't go in side, just hung off the outside for pictures.
Cute and a little bit of fun.
J. j.
Loved this place. What a great idea and really good fun. The lady who was helping inside was great and really helpful
M. O.
Great fun. Easy way to spend an hour and affordable admission prices too.
R. L.
Really fun time in upside down house and the staff were very helpful and friendly :)
Highly recommend for a giggle!
P. Z.
Reallgood fun and awesome photos
D.
Nice place, great for photos, and it really isn't as busy as you'd expect it to be so you can get lots of photos. Very pretty and not expensive!
J. R.
Great fun and reasonably priced. Plenty of good photo opportunities!
P. H.
Great place for a few really good pics. One not to miss and good value for money.
A. S.
This house is a good fun few hours. It is a little cheaper to order tickets on line.
L. “. M.
We loved it & the people running it were really friendly & helpful in showing us how to take the pictures properly 😀 thankyou x
T. M.
Great turist attraction to visit in the town. Gives lovely view and picture on the seaside. Easy to find and enter. Weekdays are not so busy. Allow time for yourself to take good pictures inside of the house.
D.
Not sure on this hotel, I fell out of bed
M. P.
Is ok.
If you get voucher from groupon is £3 per person, so you can't go wrong. Sometimes queue can get quite long and you have to wait a long time, in my case was around 45 minutes.
R. C.
Great photo fun. But the floor makes you feel funny lol. Worth the money for a laugh
A. A.
Great fun, worth queuing for, friends and family loved our photos!
J. H.
A fun half an hour of ridiculous photo opportunities!
L. D.
Amazing and well worth the fiver
C. P.
Have ordered from KFC Brighton a few times recently via Deliveroo, but been disappointed as is rarely the crispy batter I live and hope for, but going there in person and popping down to eat on the beach was everything it should be - absolutely awesome!
.....and what I forgot to say earlier is that we ate sat watching the glory and splendor of the Upside Down House - truly magnificent 🙂
P. L.
Now that was a revelation and a change from the gaming arcade. Best fiver spent for bonkers pictures and the staff were great to ensure all were safe. A must DO for the family
M. W.
Great experience for the kids. Staff really helpful but would be better if they had more staff on hand to advise customers as one member of staff was doing trying to collect tickets and help visitors.
I. A.
Pricing is a bit steep but it is great fun.
Y. P.
Brighton beach was amazing!! Would definitely come again but this time on a weekday. It was way too busy on the weekend
A. w.
Nice little place long queue to get in then you get 20 mins inside
N. R.
Ok. Slow service. Seem to have more emphasis and care more on drive thro + just eat & deliveroo than the people standing in front of them
S. S.
Great fun and worth a visit.
B. O. A.
Short tour, busy, cramped. Great outside looks, happy staff. New experience and something u could do if your board.
M. M.
The experience ever, yet such a simple concept
J. K.
It's good to get photos but not worth waiting in the queue
P. R.
This was great fun although you do feel a bit strange upstairs. A very helpful lady helped us and took photos for us too well worth a visit
R. H.
Completely unique. Worth taking a look.
N. Y.
Great place for a fun time. Get your creative mind on and get snapping photos. Lovely staff and a nice new fit out.
F. S.
I honestly love the Upside Down House, it is such a charm on the beachside, I haven't had the privilege to go inside but even just sitting and snapping pictures of it is enough for me, it is such a random thing but I love it just the same!
N.
really fun place to go to. I was on my own so the person working there came up with lots of ideas and took great pictures of me
J. J.
Lovely experience. Lovely service..
f. j.
Well worth the money kids loved it make sure you go at the right time otherwise the queues can be very long . really good time
k. g.
Wierd. Shame about the spiral staircase in the ceiling. Good fun.
N. D.
Very fun and imaginative. My 5 yr old was more interested in playing in the house than taking photos!
E. H.
Great place if your like me feeling upside down. Read some of my ppp private personal poetry.
L.
It was a great experience, however, be aware that for some people it can cause dizziness and nausea
L. A.
Brilliant...so pleased with the lady who helped us with the photos , she was simply great ..
K. L.
So much fun and the staff on hand were there to take photos and suggest photo ideas to make the experience one to remember.
M. R.

W. D.
Good fun and something different. Unfortunately had to wait an hour to get in.
S. M. M. H.
Cool place by the seaside with amazing open sea view
D. B.
Pretty fun but it's very small inside. If you don't have to queue for 50 mins you would enjoy it more!
B. M.
Nice house 😆
K. E.
Very good place. Kind and helpful staff! Would recommend to anyone

Sick house. Literally felt sick inside therefore it's a sick house.
Go there and vomit in the upside down toilet (stranger tings)
J. G.
Great fun to see
J. S.
Awesome ❤
K. S.
It's ok, but expensive considering you probably wouldn't spend more than 10 mins there. Good for a fun photo opportunity but that's about it.
P. P.
Amazing attraction, me and my parents found it pretty funny and interesting. Would recommend coming and seeing it.
s. w.

B. D.
It's a house. That is upside down.
I guess that's something.
Although I can't believe it would sustain much in the way of dramatic effect, after your first viewing.
K. A.
Brighton is great, but park outside and get a bus in. Much cheaper.
L. W.
Looks really cool from out side, haven't been inside yet, only Brighton could do some thing so quirky
