M. C.I absolutely love this independent community centre. Really artistic, with loads of activities and events. Also great place for going out for drinks, meeting new people and networking with other artists. I wish that it remains there and keeps on promoting great artistic movements and workshops. You should definitely pass by for a drink or something if you are walking around Stokes Croft. Amazing vibes and lovely people <3

My favourite memory was having an interview for the creatively titled 'Space Manager' role advertised in 2014. The best bit? ... getting to meet Bex Baxter who went on to do the epic Ted Talk on periods and working balance/adjustments.

D. C.Really great for get togethers with friends. Great kitchen facilities to rent and in very quirky area of Bristol. Layout of the building is very confusing tho.
m.It feels like a disused warehouse, and just by coincidence, it was a disused warehouse. So don't expect a springy dancefloor. With plenty of live global roots music, it's my kind of place. Despite being a building hosting music / arts performances, it isn't aesthetically pleasing, and I can think of many nicer venues to be in. However, I be dead chuffed if I were the owner. Go for the music, not the architecture.
A.Always great. Food has got better and better.
M. J.Very popular local venue for both drinking and events. Event/room hire is mostly charged at cost which is good for a small business or local community groups. Not the best in terms of decor and a little chaotic in feel. Nice staff although helpfulness/usefulness is quite variable.
L. S.Great place hosting lots of good music, informal with a playful atmosphere. You might have to queue to get in. Good food and a great gift shop with independent artists work. Their notice board has everything that's happening in Bristol pointed to it so worth checking out.

S. D.Always enjoy being here. It is a relaxed informal experience with good beer choices and interesting if variable food. We were pleased to have soup and sandwiches for a weekday lunch. Just what we wanted and very good soup. Not sure about quality of sourdough bread as it verged on the polystyrene tile in texture. Frankly I would deeply appreciate a good wholemeal or indeed any alternative to sourdough even good sourdough. Start a new trend please!

S. A.Buzzing community centre with inspiring history of community involvement. You might say the heart of Stokes Croft. Cafe/restaurant on ground floor serving delicious food. Large open-plan inside. Upstairs has function/class rooms. I've enjoyed a djembe class upstairs and also seen ballet classes.

L. M.A truly special, Bristolian establishment. Hamilton House is home to the Canteen (scrumptious food, great beers and free live music in the evening), Bristol Bike Project (a voluntary group devoted to fixing and restoring bikes for those in need) and countless awesome classes, talks, meetups and groups. Plus, there's ping pong outside.
R. S.I was lead to believe by a member of staff I met at particularly outré Vegan krunk night (Neil) that this venue is actually Lewis Hamilton the famously well groomed car driver's house. Having now visited I can confirm this. We saw Lewis Chilling out eating a Cheesestring on the sofa. The Missus was delighted. He soon got bashful though and went back to his quarters.
Dissapointed we spoke to Neil who said if we gave him a tenner he'd let us hide in the crawl space and look at lewis through the knot holes in his pine tongue and grooved cladding. The missus and I spent the rest of the afternoon observing his grooming rituals and I must say we were transfixed.
I'd definitely come back and would recommend Hamilton's house to anyone.

J. H.This place is an absolute monument to bristol culture. Food in the canteen is always to top standard and the c I uses and classes they run are the glue that keeps bristol held together.
D. B.The Canteen is a grate place to dance, eat, or just drink coffee. The whole of Hamilton house has so much going on from classes, events, a Wellbeing rooms. It is a real focal point for the area.

d.Always a great place to visit, as so much happens here everyday of the week, from salsa to music production. It's in the heart of the community and close to the City Centre.
E. W.This disused office building - an eyesore for several decades - was rescued by the vision of Bristol philanthropist and builder, Martin Connolly. When he spoke to the city's planning department about his plan to turn Hamilton House into a community hub, the planner replied (helpfully): "Over my dead body."
Luckily Martin Connolly persevered. Hamilton House, run by Co-exist, is now a thriving hub for charities, not-for-profits, freelancers and artists. It also houses the popular Canteen bar and cafe on the ground floor. Thanks to Martin Connolly's vision and financial support, Hamilton House is helping regenerate Stokes Croft bringing work, vibrancy and livelihood to a neglected urban area.

Возможно оно и хорошее кафе,но я посещала занятия по обучению приготовления пищи в этом здании, так как на остальных этажах проводится много различных занятий.Танцы, обучение музыке и другие .Я считаю что в центре города такое здание очень полезно, так как много людей могут заняться любимыми занятиями.
