I first went to Mandeep at Reco for a assessment last March where she discovered mild scoliosis in my spine. I then attended (intensively at first - twice a week - and then slowing down to fortnightly) over the course of a year. The change I saw was amazing! Although the pain did not go completely (and is unlikely to with a chronic condition), she greatly reduced the pain and gave me so much flexibility back in my spine. The reception team are always lovely and welcoming and I even had a free 30 minute massage from Paula which was just bliss!

I’ve been going to Reco Spinal centre for around 3 months now following years of back pain and restricted movement along with poor posture. Cadell set out a treatment plan for me following my initial consultation and I can feel and see the results already. I’m a fairly new patient finding treatments helpful in relieving the symptoms caused by my dodgy spine. In the past I’ve heard cynical comments about chiropractic but I can only speak from my personal experience here; no claims were made of a miraculous recovery but the benefits after a few weeks have exceeded my expectations. I need to say a word about the team in this family friendly business: Chandrima at reception is warm, friendly and an excellent administrator; spinal therapist Cadell is just as friendly and thoroughly professional. Highly recommended! I had trouble with my neck and shoulder for 3 years and attended a different chiropractor with no resolution. For me, the pain every day affected my life in so many ways and to be sent away by many others, it felt quite emotional when finally finding the right help. She initially gave me a consultation and took x-rays to identify the problem and has since organised a course of chiropractic adjustments, and given lots of advice about posture/stretching/strengthening exercises. I first attended Reco Family Chiropractic Centre back in 2014 as I was suffering from severe pelvic pain. The treatment I received by Mandeep was exceptional so much so it has taken me 6 years after my last course of treatment to Come back as the treatment received helped immensely, The pain and discomfort has only really returned in the last 9 months or so possibly due to the fact I did not attend maintenance sessions. When I returned in July this year I was having a lot of discomfort prior to treatment but can now say I am feeling so much better. Having had very little success at any pain relief before, I found Reco and booked an assessment. I found the welcome and manner of the staff there to be very caring. We started a series of treatments after seeing the issue on x-ray. I have now completed my 6th session and have so much more movement and no longer in constant pain. I have been given solid after care advice, such as how to sit better and drive easier. I fully expect to be able to manage my issue after the treatment sessions are finished, and will be able to stop any further damage to my neck, through the advice given. This is a condition that has been with me for ten years and I'm seeing relief within weeks.

I’ve been a client at Reco for several months now and they’ve continued to support me throughout the lockdown. My back pain worsened due to so much time at my desk, so Mandeep went above and beyond and scheduled regular video calls with me. She checks in on my pain, gives me tips on my posture, and gives me several exercises to do that really help to strengthen and stretch my back. She also runs through exercises with me during the call and by the end my back feels improved! They weren’t obliged to continue my treatment during lockdown but they really do care about their clients.

I visited Reco when I couldn't take my back pain any longer. On my initial consultation I was able to have a very in depth conversation with Mandeep about my back pain, as well as expressing my concerns about breathing as I was unsure if the 2 were linked. Patients complained that they hurt them. Neither they are capable of working in a team. However they wanted to earn at the end of the day from the business but did not care how to business will grow. They have also gone against various Company policy due to which we had to terminate their contract with us. To provide excellent customer service to our clients we believe that we need to work alongside a brilliant and positive team members. And we will never compromise on that. I will request the community out there not to fall for such negative comment and to give us a chance to show how much we do care and believe in delivering WOW customer service. I myself am suffering from high blood pressure but now after getting regular treatment since last 8 months I have stopped taking medication for blood pressure. Very friendly and attentive staff, prompt service on welcome. I had an appointment with Joe who was very easy to talk to about my back and neck issues. He identified the problems almost immediately and explained very clearly why and how I’m being effected over my daily routine, and what I can do to improve my situation. Amazing Centre. Such a life saver for me. I had reached the end of searching for help to resolve my whiplash, I had tried meds which had a negative affect on my mental health, physio which only flared up the injury. Reco was my last chance and I came across them on Groupon. Really lovely staff, warm friendly environment and most important dramatic results. When I went in to see Mandeep I was in a terrible state, 3 months post Accident there was no improvement. My first session was informative and gave me lots of hope. The second session was when I had treatment and I walked out of there being able to move my neck again! Freedom! The pain had subsided and I felt a bit more like a human being. I would love to recommend anyone who suffers with neck, shoulder and back related pain to Reco Chiropractic Centre near St. Michael Hospital in Bristol. I have just completed 8 sessions out of 24 booked appointments of my spine adjustment and the results are amazing! My complaint was severe neck and shoulders pain with upper back was stiff and rock solid plus headaches. In March 2017 I major spine surgery involving fusion of my c6-c7 due to herniated discs after an accident in 2012 which affected the use of my left hand. The quality of my life was affected I had to change jobs and start driving an auto car. I have been on strong painkillers for a long time even after surgery, I still experienced some pain but was reduced from a scale of 9 to 5. Before my surgery, I had steroid injections which have some relief but short lived. I was sceptical about visiting a chiropractor after a friend recommended me to one. When I took the step of faith to try one, I must say it was the right choice! Physiotherapy did'nt help me. All I got was do this and that exercise which honestly brought more pain. Had several deep tissue massage which has helped in loosening my stiff upper back due to injuries and muscle memory of pain. Now I am not taking ANY Painkillers! My quality of life has improved tremendously plus I am more alert, feel great and can do movements I thought were so painful. I sleep well and wake up pain free! My posture has changed after attending a posture class! I am grateful my life is back on track again. Thanks to Dr. Mandrel and your lovely team. Keep it up!!!

Dr Mandeep Bahra gave me a great consultation and has an X-Ray machine on site, therefore she was able to detect the problem straight away. Great place for getting treated. Dr Mandeep and her entire team are very professional and friendly. I'm simply amazed by the results of my treatment so far. I was having severe lower back pain (including pain on my left leg) for over a year and I thought that my problem couldn't be treated as I had been to serval physiotherapy sessions elsewhere and none of it seemed to have helped at all. The pain made it incredibly difficult for me to walk/sit for long periods. At Reco, after a thorough assessment they recognised the actual problem that was causing the pain and provided my with a customised treatment plan. At the end of my first week of treatment, I couldn't believe the results; just within a week, the pain on my lower back and left leg had drastically reduced making it easier for me to carry on with my daily routine. Not the best place for treatments. Receptionist was welcoming and attentive. I had a deep tissue massage, and although the chap was very knowledgable, he was way too rough with the way he did things and was generally doing it very quickly. I found it hard to breathe into the areas and relax as he was doing it because he was just moving too fast. I felt very sore the following day. Never been for a professional massage before where they have brought out Johnson and Johnsons baby oil!! Also my massage started a couple minutes late and finished a few minutes early.

My wife, who already got excellent care by Reco, referred me them following a car accident which left me with a severe whiplash injury. I have been attending reco chiropractic for 4 years , when i first came to reco chiropractic i had been to various chiropractors ,and physios for my back pain , each time i felt that the practitioner did not know what was needed to help my back pain. Mandeep did a through investigation of the complaint she took a full history and did tests to find out what was causing the problem . what really impressed me was that mandeep throughly looked at my complaint and told me exactly how many treatments were needed. she also educated me on the complaint .. and i understood that many people are looking for relief care , however she was also going to address the posture which over years was causing my back pain, and that she was not able to wave a magic wand, and get rid of the problem in a couple of session which is what we expect when we go for help to various practitioners. I also attended the complimentary health care class, and i had X-rays that were taken and she explained what was going on which were included in my initial consultation fee of £20 , so i understood exactly what was needed. This did take intensive treatment over a few months, and there were payment options that made it affordable . after 3 months of intensive care for my back pain the complaint has improved immensely , i can now go walking which is something i love doing, and was struggling to just walk 100yards, and I can also play with my grand kids, which was something i started to worry about , as the back pain was very painful .. the reco team are very friendly and you feel part of the family , they can never do enough for you . if you want a safe place where you feel looked after , than i throughly recommend reco chiropractic. Precision - Patience - Determination - everything you would want for a good deep tissue sports therapy massage. I attended Reco and saw a therapist called Luke Doran to help release my shoulder blades and upper arm bone during some self rehab at home. I saw Luke after seeing many body based therapists, each for the this same reason. And although those therapists were each excellent in their own right, it was Luke that actually focused entirely on the reason I came in for. His assistance with deep tissue release with my shoulder has made the difference between my own rehab improving quickly and efficiently vs a great deal more effort and time myself. Very fairly priced, friendly therapist and surprisingly cosy and welcoming environment. Luke played his own music that he focuses best with, yet asked permission first. He tested my joints and muscles for mobility each session and kept track of my improvement which was surprisingly quick. I felt safe and was able to relax whilst he did all the hard work, and I sensed he worked hard and was proud of what he does and quite rightly. In summary - Reco chiropracty is a friendly and welcoming environment (almost like a clean and refreshing living room upstairs) and the therapist I saw was very good. I will mention critically that it's a bit of a squeeze to get down to the treatment room that I used, if you are over 6ft5 you might not fit! And the room I used was a fair size. A bit cramped for height, again if overly tall. I could also hear the client in a room next door, but to be honest they could probably hear me more whilst I communicated with my therapist and learned about my body. But that seemed entirely irrelevant once 15min into the treatment, and when I stood back up I could easily feel the difference the session has made. Well worth the visit. I went three times in two months.

69 year old: I have always led a very active life, but have various accidents in my past (the last in 2012) which led to back ache and neck ache and a stiff neck. I knew I had arthritis in my neck and physios were not able to help, nor could acupuncture. I was also getting quite a lot of headaches on the right of my head. I met the Reco staff in the shopping centre who did a quick investigation which showed my spine was not in line and thought they could help, so I signed up to a consultation and treatment. I had xrays which showed my neck bones were starting to fuse and there were seven pressure points in my spine causing problems. Mandeep explained everything very well. After 3 weeks of treatment wherein my headaches moved around my head and have now lessened, I am now able to turn my neck further (which makes reversing my car a lot easier) and many of the pressure points have been resolved. It was scary to hear my bones crack the first time, but it seems to be working for which I am very grateful, even though the treatment has not yet completed.
