Reviews of The Pump House

Beautiful estate situated right in the centre of Bristol. The 3 stables were really a plus, the owners were lovely and even played a game of polo with us (after a naughty glass of bubbly of course). The kids absolutely adored running around in the prairie surrounding the grounds, and the open space was perfect for our corgis. At the affordable price of £1,220/person we were even able to get, I believe the slang is "Special K" for breakfast. Overall, our stay at Pump House Manor was fabulous, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a "risqué" escapade in this lovely corner of the world.

Francois and I had a beautiful night at the 'Pump' House, candle-lit, exotic and e-rotic, dancing and gaming, drinking fine wines in the presence of the elite of Dorset, Avon and Somerset. We started in the ball room with the most reputed orchestra from all the halls of Europe serenading the assembled quality, the finely sprung dance floor adding spring to our synchronicity, the champagne waterfalls sparkling under the brilliance of the Russian crystal chandeliers.
Our diminutive host, with close fitting tails and evening tie, graced us with an exquisite waltz, further feeding society speculation of a soon-to-be-announced liaison with the beautiful Hortense, eldest daughter of the 17th Earl of Gloucester. She wore the celebrated Mysore diamond, inherited from her grandmother who was gifted the allegedly cursed stone, on the fall of Delhi.
Moving through to the gaming tables, the breadth of European royalty was well represented, with the flamboyant Duc de Montagneux-Pierre-de-Marie, having travelled from his Monaco estate for the event, leading the glitterati in daring prowess, gaining the applause of the all with his extravagant wins, perhaps somewhat tarnished by his well known explosive flatulence. The old dowager princess, Florence, famously deaf and onosmic -- unaware therefore, of the public ordure - looked on with pride at her progeny prodigy, a reminder of the now fading glamour of the vieux-monde over which she had presided with such notoriety in the salons of her youth.
Our evening ended with a gallop of house stallions across the lawns to the coming-dawn beach, before returning for a final frollick in the fountains (Francois is SO naughty).

This Liverpool lad (Luke) was very over friendly and it wasn’t until I managed to distract him with Ben Bitchell that I escaped. Best birthday ever.
Would come back.

Was used as a distraction and misinterpreted as another individual (someone named Ben Bitchell?). That being said, the owner provided some truly wonderful life changing services ;) 5 stars

Top quality banter. Bristol's biggest brain engineers. One star dropped for kitchen hygiene.
