A few friends had given me their old pregnancy books to read through but to be honest I didn’t find them helpful. Instead attending Danielle’s antenatal classes was so much easier and so much more! Her knowledge and experience is amazing and she made us feel totally comfortable with asking any questions we had, and gave us reassurance regardless how silly we might of felt some our questions were. My husband was grateful as he hasn’t been able to attend the doctors appointments with me, he felt out of loop, but having the classes with Danielle he felt a lot more involved and confident with what to expect and what to do. We had a lot going on at the same time but the classes helped us feel a lot more prepared and more at ease with the little time we had. I also attended Danielle’s Aquanatal classes which were great and helped me relax during such a busy time! Thanks again Danielle!

I joined Danielle for her aquanatal course and absolutely loved my weekly focus on me and baby. Danielle is so warm and bubbly she puts you right at ease. The course is packed with useful exercises and breathing techniques which you can use when giving birth. I found it really helped me get in the right head space and prepare for the arrival of my baby. Danielle is clearly very experienced and knowledgable around birth and I would highly recommend her services.

Danielle was invaluable to us as my doula when I had my second child in 2021. It was great that she could come to the house to do antenatal classes at a time when the NHS was not able to provide these. Having her there on call when I was wondering if labour was starting was very reassuring. When I ended up being in early labour with no time to sleep for 3 days and nights, both my husband and I agree that we don’t know how we would have survived without her as she helped us pace ourselves and keep track of my progress.
In the end I had a caesarean section with my husband present, but Danielle’s help went beyond the birth to the following week when she helped me at a very emotional time to work through my options around breastfeeding, enabling me to think straight and come to my own decisions in a way that made me feel happy with them.
Danielle manages to combine a very professional approach - which I really appreciated - with an extremely warm, friendly and cheerful manner that makes you feel that you’ve known her for years after a couple of meetings. She also has a great sense of humour!
I thoroughly recommend anyone in any circumstances to work with Danielle if you are looking for a doula. If you are sitting on the fence about going ahead, give yourself the best advantage you can and just go for it, you won’t regret it!

I’ve just finished a 5 week aquanatal course and am so sad it’s over! It has genuinely been the highlight of my weeks. Danielle creates such a relaxed and friendly environment where we all got on really well and had fun. The exercises have really helped the pregnancy aches, and breathing exercises which have made me feel more prepared for labour. I always leave feeling so relaxed and have a great sleep (which is rare at 34 weeks pregnant!) I highly recommend Danielle’s sessions and can’t wait to join in the baby classes when the baby is here! Thanks Danielle it’s been truly wonderful, it’s really helped me get through these difficult later stages of pregnancy!

Where do we start, we can’t recommend having Dan as your doula enough. The support she gave my partner through her whole pregnancy was incredible, supportive and honest. We booked Dan very early on and had multiple video calls before our at home antenatal classes. Not only did these classes prepare us for labour and beyond but all the small details building up to the day and all about first moments with baby. Dan helped us with our birth plan. (it didn’t go to plan ) but from all the support, calmness and my partner knowing her rights she turned everything into a positive.
The antenatal classes are fantastic and so important for us new dads to. Dan makes you feel so at ease with all her knowledge and she really is an advocate for women. My partner felt in control and confident. She had the most stress free pregnancy and that has really shown in our new baby boy. He is so relaxed and content and we believe that was from all the help and support she received.
Dan is such a bubbly, confident and very present person. We would highly recommend Beautifully Blooming services to anyone expecting a baby and for any post natal support 🤎
Thank you so much for everything and we can’t wait for you to come and visit again.

Danielle and I were a real birth partnership; the combination of confidence and support that she gave me throughout my partner's pregnancy, and especially during the birth itself, was incredible. The emotional and practical guidance that she gave me helped me to be there for my partner throughout the home birth and transfer to hospital, without Danielle I wouldn't have felt as resilient. Being there for the birth of my baby boy with Danielle's expert advice on my side meant it was the best experience I could have ever hoped for.
Now, whenever I change his nappy, I think back to the practice sessions with Danielle and her dolls (when I was a complete novice) and think how far I've come!

I discovered Danielle's doula services online relatively early on in my pregnancy but wasn't entirely sure whether to go ahead, Danielle offered to face time (due to covid restrictions) and we chatted for a good 40 minutes, Danielle really put me at ease and explained everything, she was very knowledgeable, but at no stage was there any pressure.
I went away and got back in touch some weeks later when my Fiance was being deployed in the armed forces and I faced birthing without him, I was worried I had left it too late but Danielle did her best to accommodate me, even arranging an on call Doula just in case. She offered alternative services to help me manage an uncomfortable pregnancy I.e. acupuncturist, masseur and showed me how to use my pregnancy ball properly. She was always available via phone and offered me much needed advice regularly.
When the time came and I finally went into labour at 41+4 weeks Danielle was there, following my birth plan and helped me achieve my dream home water birth! She was incredibly warm with such a calming influence, not just on me but my family as well who all got a little panicky at first. She helped me cope with my surges that rapidly got stronger and closer together with massage, cold flannels, offering her shoulder for me to rest on and holding my hand all while offering me words of encouragement and reminding me that I am a godess and I can do it!
Danielle has continued to be supportive post birth and allowed me to reflect and discuss my birth.
I'm so glad Danielle was there when I delivered my beautiful baby into the world. Although we have only known eachother a few months I feel a special bond with Danielle and she is someone who will be a special part of my life forever! I will never be able to say thank you enough for her helping me achieve the most positive birthing experience.

Hiring Danielle as my doula was the BEST decision we made for my pregnancy and labour. I truly believe it was Danielle’s antenatal classes that helped keep my labour so calm and peaceful. I learnt so much from her that I felt empowered going into my labour with no doubts of the support and knowledge she had. During my early labour and visit to the dr, I was constantly texting and calling Daniele with updates she helped me to understand the process and jargon used by medical staff. During my labour Danielle helped me to relax by applying counter pressure, giving me energy by feeding me, breathing exercises and reassuring my partner. She came with us to the hospital and helped to advocate for my wishes and birth plan when I couldn’t.
After my baby was born Danielle visited my home to support with breastfeeding and pumping. She was always ready to reply to messages about newborn baby care and she researched information we needed.
I would absolutely hire Danielle again for my next birth and I couldn’t recommend her enough.

My partner and I approached Danielle at the beginning of my second trimester. As a first time mama and with no family in the local area, I knew that I wanted extra support in this life-changing journey! Danielle was so warm and kind right from our initial chat & we knew we wanted her on our team. There were a few times in my pregnancy when I had questions or concerns & Danielle was there via text or phone call to reassure me or point me in the right direction. We had two antenatal sessions with her on Zoom that were so useful. She was so supportive of all of our decisions for the birth & gave us additional information to research the areas we were unsure about. We planned for a home water birth, which we were all very excited for! When I went into labour my partner called her in the middle of the night & she was with us in no time. We live in West Wales, so it was a bit of a drive for her, but she arrived swiftly and ready to help! Danielle helped us to stay calm and focused. She supported my partner and I brilliantly and helped get the midwife up to speed when she arrived. We had a beautiful birth at home & we truly appreciated Danielle's support in achieving this. She is also a wonderful photographer and took the most amazing photos & short videos that we will cherish forever. She somehow managed to sneak these photos (with my consent beforehand of course!) without interupting our special moments - it was perfect. After the birth, Danielle was available to support via text and phone call when I had challenges with breastfeeding. She visited a few weeks later & we had a birth debrief, which helped me to process and clarify some of the things that happened that day. I am so thankful that Danielle was there to support us remotely and in person on the big day. She has a calm and encouraging presence - just perfect for what we needed to welcome our sweet baby!

Danielle supported the birth of my second child in August 2019. Danielle was amazing, she physically helped me through every contraction, she motivated me throughout and especially at the transition stage when I thought it was never going to happen! Just knowing that I had an advocate there gave me the strength to speak up about my preferences and ask for a second opinion when required. She was a great support for my partner too, it took a lot of pressure off him and he found the whole experience much better. Danielle is a great birth educator and advocate, absolutely non-judgemental, and overall a really lovely person and I would recommend her support wholeheartedly for whatever type of birth you are planning 🙂

I attended the Aquanatal classes in 2019 and can’t recommend them enough. Completely relaxing, friendly atmosphere with Danielle giving clear instructions on what to do in the water. Floating in the water and feeling baby kicking around in my stomach are some of my favourite pregnancy memories! We also booked Danielle for a 1 to 1 session for me and my husband to go through what to expect in labour, life with a newborn etc and the knowledge and tips we gained were invaluable! We felt comfortable asking all those silly questions you’re too afraid to ask anyone else! Highly recommended for first time/slightly anxious parents to be!

My husband and I approached Danielle after finding out that our NCT classes were going to be conducted over Zoom due to the pandemic. We really wanted some practical hands-on teaching and Danielle was able to come to the house and give us two sessions covering everything the NCT class would have done and so much more!
We both feel far more confident about the birth and early days of parenting thanks to Danielle's engaging and interesting classes. I would recommend her classes to any first-time parents.

I went to a few of the amazing services that Danielle has to offer. I attended the 5 week aquanatal class, which I really enjoyed, Danielle really makes you feel at ease, she's down to earth and really makes everyone feel really comfortable. I also had a 1-2-1 antenatal class at my house where we covered whatever questions I had, Danielle was unbelievably helpful, great tips and full of information!! I also attended the meet up group held in the local library to meet other expecting mums and new mums - again it was very welcoming, very relaxed and very helpful and supportive. I would definitely reccomend Danielle for all of the services that she has to offer!!

I joined Danielle's aqua natal class when I was around 32 weeks pregnant. I was nervous but Danielle made me feel so welcome! The class was something I looked forward to every week as it was so relaxing. It was also a great opportunity to meet other pregnant women in the area! I would definitely recommend aqua natal!

Danielle was incredible from start to finish. She gave 2 amazing ante natal sessions at the house, where everything was explained to me in detail, she answered all my questions and also gave my husband heaps of support and guidance too. I ended up having an elective caesarean birth so Danielle couldn't attend but she made time for a zoom call the day before to go through my new birth plan and help me plan for a gentle caesarean, again talking me through the procedure and putting my mind at rest. Danielle is a fountain of knowledge, supportive, kind, funny and great at putting my anxious mind at rest throughout the whole pregnancy. Thank you so so much for your help and support Danielle ❤️

I had originally been attending the Aquanatal classes run by Danielle in Barry before the Covid pandemic interfered, i found these sessions fantastic and made a fab group of friends. I then recently booked the wonderful Danielle to support me through the first part of labour over the phone. Danielle was fantastic at keeping me calm and breathing with me through my contractions during the early hours of the morning and reassuring me that all was ok before i got to the point i needed to go into the hospital for more pain relief. I would highly recommend Beautifully blooming xxx

Recently finished the aqua natal yoga class in Cardiff with Danielle and absolutely loved it! It was just what I needed going into 3rd trimester. Lots of useful exercises and breathing techniques to help prepare for labour. Danielle creates a relaxed and supportive environment, highly recommend for any pregnant ladies out there!

Danielle's Pregnancy and Birth group in Barry has been a life saver for me.
The support and advice she and fellow mum's have given me has been great and Danielle is there to support anyone at anytime.
Without this group I really would have struggled to get through the tough start me and baby had.
I am very grateful to Danielle for being there for me and my daughter whenever I needed a chat or some advice.

I've had a birth preparation class with Danielle from Beautifully Blooming. It's in the comfort of your own home & was very informative without being pushy. She has lots of useful information from packing your hospital bag to positions in labour. I've also hired a birthing ball from her which she demonstrates lots of uses for. It made me feel confident and positive about giving birth. I have also attended her free pregnancy group in Barry which is really friendly and a great place to meet new mum's in the area. Highly recommended.

I had Danielle visit me at a time when I was starting to feel a little anxious and overwhelmed by the thought of labour and life thereafter, and to say Danielle put my mind at rest is an understatement. Her bubbly personality made me feel at ease talking about labour with her and made me feel a lot more prepared for what was to come. I honestly think I wouldn’t have been able to have had the good experience of labour without the help of Danielle and for anyone out there wondering if they should have a doula or not I’d definitely say go for it…you won’t regret it.

Danielle has been incredible for us. Wonderful, easy and open communication at every step of the way. Having this level of experience made all the difference in knowing we were a call away if we needed expert advise. This was particularly helpful during the contractions on the big day. Dani was there for us, through the middle of the night to go through when we needed to get to the hospital. Not only this, the aftercare is a continual personalised service is great. We are appreciative of having Dani close to the family, for any other advise as our little one grows. Highly reccomend the special service provided.

My family have had a very sad history with miscarriages and because of this our first couple of months were plagued with tests and worries. We spent the first stages of pregnancy in a limbo not wanting to learn of plan anything in fear of something going wrong. When we finally had good news and all clear I was just overwhelmed with the fear that I didn’t know what I should know by now and what I should be doing in preparation, which wasn’t helped by COVID and all anti-natal classes being cancelled. Luckily, I knew Danielle is a doula, and asked her to do her Antenatal Workshops for me….and THANK GOODNESS FOR HER. She came to see me at home in full PPE and put me completely at ease. She instantly calmed all my nerves. She is so warm and knowledgeable and gave me all the information I needed in a clear and easy manner that I was able understand. I am looking forward to our next session. She has given me such peace of mind now I know what to expect and I can finally try and enjoy the rest of my pregnancy. I cannot recommend Danielle’s services enough!

Danielle was calm and reassuring during my home birth. She was the voice I needed to hear and made everyone feel welcome and supported. It’s her skills as a doula but more than anything It’s because she just a gorgeous person to be with.

I attended Aquanatal classes and they were great. Danielle is so supportive and friendly. I was so relieved to find her class and really enjoyed them. I would definitely go to her classes again and would feel very comfortable asking for further support from her.

Absolutely loved aquanatal yoga It was the highlight of my week (sounds cheesy but true!) you can do it at your own pace, some weeks I felt I could give the exercises more oomph than others, I always felt stretched, relaxed and revitalised afterwards. It’s so lovely to be weightless in the pool and the relaxation at the end is utter bliss.
Danielle is amazing, she’s so bubbly, positive and professional providing loads of help and advice, you can really open up to her with anything. I highly recommend this class, thank you Danielle xx

I had Danielle as my doula when I was pregnant with my first child and I have to say I don't know what I would have done without her. I didn't know what I was doing, what to expect or all the changes I was about to go through!! She helped me every step of the way no matter how big or small or how silly I thought my questions or needs were. From checking in on me in early stages of labour and helping me keep calm to helping with breastfeeding ... Even changing an bathing a newborn as I was clueless. She was like my fairy godmother and the best person to help anyone through pregnancy and after! Even now my baby is growing up she is still there for advice whenever I need. One in a million
