I went to Axis health with a lower back problem that had intensified over time. Working from home did not make it any easier as my job required me to sit for long periods of time. After my first consultation with Denise, I got a lot of information and insight into how I got to that point. She was very friendly, easy to talk to whilst remaining professional. I was giving advise on what to watch out for and recommended exercises that helped in alleviating and relieving the pain. After a couple of treatments, I can say I feel better and no longer have pains. A big thank you to Axis health.

I was recommended to see Denise via a friend for a lower back problem. Denise was very welcoming, and after explaining my problem she was able to diagnose and help me on the first appointment. After 2 more visits my back has improved so much that I no longer need treatment.

If I could give Denise more than 5 stars I would! I originally sought her help for discomfort in my upper back resulting from an old whiplash injury. I felt completely at ease from the moment I set foot in the door. Within a few treatments the pain was gone but I enjoyed the sessions so much that I continued to visit her monthly for maintenance treatments. I had niggling pain in my hands and elbow joint due to the physicality of my job which have now completely disappeared thanks to Denise. You only realise how much pain affects you when it is no longer there. For anyone contemplating getting help for any kind pain or discomfort, do not hesitate to get in touch with Denise! I wish I had found her sooner. I recently moved away from Essex and I miss her so much! She is not only highly experienced and knowledgeable but a genuine, lovely person. I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone.

I went to Axis Health for a shoulder problem that was brought on by some excessive golf swings! Had a session on a Thursday and was able to play pain free on the following Sunday. Had a follow on appointment two days later and am now as fit as a fiddle. Often used as a platitude but not so here when I say that I cannot recommend Denise highly enough. I can’t thank Denise enough, she has improved the quality of my life by reducing pain in my shoulders I had been suffering For several years and relieving my tension and headaches. I’ve had 4 sessions so far and had seen a result after the first and more after the third. I went to see Denise with pain in my knee joins caused I think be digging the allotment aggravating an old injury. After an examination I received acupuncture on the knee which relieved the pain and after a few weeks the problem cleared up. I received a great service, booking appointments was straight forward and Denise could always find a slot that fitted in with my calendar and travelling. I would recommend friends and family with similar problems to see Denise.

I had developed bad back pain in the third trimester of pregnancy and it had escalated to the point I couldn't sit or lie still. I was feeling desperate and Denise was able to fit me in me on the day I called. I was quite apprehensive about the treatments but Denise was very reassuring and as she is so lovely to talk to, I ended up really enjoying the session. The very next day I was pain free for the first time in several weeks. Such relief. Highly recommended.

Took our 4 month old child for a couple of osteopathy sessions and the results were instantaneous. Our little one is sleeping much better at nights thanks to the treatment. Denise is very friendly and was very patient throughout. Cosy little practice and we were made to feel very welcome. Highly recommend!

Went to see Denise a week ago as I could hardly walk. Nothing to do with my back, but my collapsed arch and severe pronation in my foot. I was struggling to put pressure on my foot causing swelling and tightness throughout my foot, ankle and calf. Had acupuncture for the first time and then some very small movement manipulation. Couldn't be happier with the result. After a 45min session swelling was visibly reduced, my Achilles‘ tendon had loosened and I could walk so much better. Had a second acupuncture session with Denise today and am so happy with the results. A lovely lady, with a cosy welcoming practice who is working miracles.

Denise is such a lovely lady, she saw me as an emergency, which in itself I was so grateful for. I went In, barely able to walk, using a walking stick and holding onto my son and in a lot of pain, due to a problem with my back. I came out without the need for either. 4 days later I had a follow up treatment and have been given exercises to do and tips for this not to happen again. I cannot recommend this lady strongly enough.

I first went to see Denise 18 months ago. I was desperate to find something other than strong painkillers to relieve chronic sciatic pain. She gave me a comprehensive examination to identify the source of the pain, and we agreed on a course of acupuncture, together with exercise. That improved my situation a good deal until I had spinal surgery to relieve the trapped spinal nerve. Post surgery I was still left with some nerve damage, but thanks to acupuncture I am steadily getting more use back in my foot. I can't thank Denise enough for her encouragement and advice as well as the effective treatment
