P. N.Fantastic and very helpful staff. Our son was in a production at the theatre and we had to kill time between shows today. Nothing was too much of a problem.. Comfortable and welcoming. Very impressed.
L. W.Being new to the area, I was delighted to find the Riverside theatre and what beautiful grounds it is set in too. I saw Zero live performance of two powerful erotic people - a very strong beautiful black guy and equally beautiful sensual lovely fair skinned female with red hair. Their bodies were continually entwining together with the most incredible powerful music taking me to a lovely calm, peaceful and lovely place. I could have watched again! The coffee shop afterwards is so relaxed and welcoming too.
My second visit to the lovely theatre was to see the National Theatre Live modern filmed version of Shakespeare’s Macbeth - intro was excellent but when the act started, I soon realised I was totally out of my depth - couldn’t understand a word. I even fell asleep and sadly had to leave after part 1. My friend was also
Happy to go but we did discuss on our journey home. Let this not put anyone off. I believe in honesty in all areas of my life. I was never taught about Shakespeare. I’m not giving up - another performance, another time I hope I may just begin to understand the incredible man! Looking forward to returning to the Riverside. With love Lynda x
