YLR have been absolutely wonderful and enabled my elderly parents to move house to be near family, despite hoarding over 46 years. Without Diane and her team, we could never have got them moved. They were able to sensitively work over many weeks with my parents, one of whom has dementia, and declutter their house enough to facilitate the move, all without upsetting them or getting rid of their most treasured possessions. YLR are kind, efficient, honest, reliable, and get the job done, despite so many difficulties. My parents now live next to their 4 grandchildren and everyday is now full of excited young voices and laughter - something my parents have not experienced up to now. Thank you so much.

Last summer my house had become impossible for me to manage. I had become disabled and unable to remove empty bottles and boxes, or clean up after my 2 cats. There was broken glass, paper and plastic everywhere. I was ashamed to let anyone in the house, even old friends. Someone referred me to Social Services and they suggested Your Living Room could help. Diane Boyd and her team transformed my wrecked house with the help of a cleaning firm. They showed understanding and genuine personal concern throughout. In August I had a fall down the stairs and spent weeks in a hospital then a care home. When I came home in December my house had been transformed and is now one I can enjoy and feel proud of, all thanks to Your Living Room. I recommend them without Reserve.

After years of hoarding we were able to persuade my disabled brother to allow "Your Living Room" (YLR) to help cleanup his four room third floor flat. Absolute miracle ! YLR were caring and engaged well with my brother, they addressed not just the clutter and rubbish but also his mindset regarding his environment.
