First time here, had the best time, we watched the Jack and the beanstalk show and what a fabulous performance. From the oldest to the youngest we all absolutely loved it. Will 100% be returning. You made our Christmas magical. Thank you.

Went to Neil Diamond Ultimate tribute at short notice. Reception and bar areas modern and spacious but drinks service struggles with numbers. Staff are friendly and helpful.
Theatre area a little dated with seats OK but not much leg room. Was sat right at back and I thought sound could be a little better but could hear the music fine (struggled to hear singer when he was talking).
J. B.
Event was in the small studio Theatre, which was ideal. Clean, a good tech team and good facilities - although both coffee bars were closed for the whole weekend due, I think, to Covid affecting staff.

Very impressed with the theatre. It’s had an overhaul and it looks great! We went to the pantomime and was pleasantly surprised. The seats were comfortable (we were in a box), and pretty good views. The show was very funny, the dancers were lovely and the actors were fantastic! Lots of laughs were had with lots of local references. The bathrooms were clean and were spaced out around the theatre. I’d highly recommend a trip to the theatre!

Wonderful theatre ! Not that big that you loose the wonderful intimacy you need for many shows, good comfy seating, polite and friendly staff. Will be back in December for Panto. Highly recommend this fantastic theatre. 2022 Pantomime was Jack and the Beanstalk. Iain Lauchlan once again smashed it, we have been coming here for years, with our children and now grandchildren. Never ever disappoints. Fantastic value for money, and as always will be back next year for more !! Can't recommend highly enough

The Belgrade Theatre in Coventry has a nice aesthetic as you enter with a raked auditorium that allows even the back row stall seats a good view of the stage. There is a cafe and a bar for refreshments and a counter where you can buy merchandise connected with the current show if applicable. Tickets are scanned as you enter which is an innovative way of collection attendance data. Like with most theatres the seats aren't the comfiest but they were clean and in working order. The toilet facilities were in good condition.
The particular show we went to see had strobe lighting effects and what struck me was there was no warning of this. Not when ordering the tickets, no signs in the foyer and no announcement. There was also no announcement about not recording the performance, which considering there were minors involved in the production could be considered a breach of safeguarding.
Overall this theatre is worth attending especially if you're local and want to see a good theatre production.

Friendly, helpful staff, nice ambience in the bar/foyer area. I went with a friend, unlike me, he has very good hearing, but neither of us could gather what had been announced over the public address system (or 'tannoy' as my pal put it).
Our show "Black, Queer, and Done" was in the B2 space - which was just right for the event as some of the action in the show was filmed in the same place.
The seats were too low. Next time I will bring my back friend and it will be easier to sit through the show.

Went to see Bugsy Malone and it was fantastic. Theatre had plenty of staff, especially in the bar. Seating was spot on as theatre not too big, nothing blocking our view. The show and cast were absolutely amazing
A. W.
This is a very lovely theatre with parking close by.
It has a very diverse range of programmes on offer, with two staging areas.
The staff are always pleasant and friendly.
I have yet to try the new dining facilities but hope to in the near future.
C. N.
Very nice theater 🎭 we had a nice show of Queen tribute in there and everything was amazing.
T. S.
Always loved this theatre since I first moved to Coventry in early 1970s. Loved this production of the Musical Beautiful all about Carol Kings early career. Lead part had a fabulous voice, sounded much like Carol.
M. L.
Fantastic venue in close proximity to the city centre. NCP located nearby and within walking distance to the theatre. Yearly pantomime is always a favourite and definitely recommend seeing with friends and family. Advisable to Pre book online to avoid disappointment.
R. H.
Came to see Beautiful The Carole King Musical yesterday 3rd November 2022 what a superb show great story and an amazing performance by all the cast, especially Molly Grace Cutler as Carole King
D. E.
The show (Jack and the Beanstalk) was fairly good, and my grandson (almost 4), 'got it' right from the start - enjoyed it immensely. The show was too long (3 hours!) However the organisation of the interval was poor. Two people were trying to serve the whole audience drinks and then, rather than serving one customer each, they served one between them, slowing things down even more! We missed the start of the second half. Outside, the car park was chaotic. On entry it allowed too many cars in(the top levels were closed off but I don't think the machines counting entry had been adjusted). On exit, there was a lengthy queue to the one (of only three) payment machines which was working. Absolutely shambolic!!

Saw The Rocky Horror Picture Show live here in October 2022. Great venue & acoustics. Lots of toilets, once you know where they all are!!
d.
Super experience seeing the Legendary Rocky Horror Picture Show. Very clever show, super performances from all actors. Interesting accents :-), Loved it, keep up the good work.
A. P.
We love this Theatre. We always go for The Pantomime but use it through out the year. It's always clean, warm and the staff are very helpful.
K. H.
Went to see six and the theatre felt the right size for the production, bar was far too packed so we could not get a drink, would do well to take online orders and prepare them for a time for pickup
J. F.
I have been meeting up with my friends for the past month now which is are regular meeting place because it's a very nice place to visit and have a meal with a drink and a chat the staff are very nice and helpful and the place is very clean and tidy and the toilet's are nice and clean we all like being there and may it continue to be like that for years to come

Went to see Shrek the Musical for my son's birthday.
There is an NPC (car park) about 100 yards away, and on the way there are several restaurants including: Bella Italia, Pizza Express and Cafe Rouge. So if you are hungry before your show, there are a few options. The car park also allows you to pay for Belgrade shows for about 3.50. We went on a Sunday so the price was 1.50. I would recommend looking at the car park charges so you won't be surprised at the end.
Outside of the Belgrade is very nice. It has a nice fountain and greenery. It's nice to see grass and trees in the middle of a city.
Inside, it is very clean and well laid out. You can go from one side of the waiting area to the other in a straight line. No obstructions, so this makes the path flow. On the way is the: ticket booth, bar, toilets and at the other end is a cafe.
There were tables selling: programs, raffle tickets and other food items. The staff and volunteers behind the tables selling the products were very nice and friendly.
We rented a cushion, from underneath the stairs leading upstairs, for 1 pound. It was a good choice as the individual in front of my son was a bit taller so he was now able to see over them.
The actual show, excellent. It was humorous, musical but long. I'll mention why it was long below.
The reason I give it 4 stars:
The pros: It was clean. It has a nice outdoor area for before a show and during intermission to walk around and stretch your legs or have the kids run. There was friendly staff. There was a sign saying how long the show was including intermission.
The cons: The person under the stairs giving out the cushions and selling sweets and ice cream was alone. He was very professional, but it would have been good to have two staff working together. The mic for one of the characters cut out for about 2 scenes. They did fix it, but it took away from the play. A child was crying for about 15 minutes and no ushers asked the family to take their child out. This made the play seem longer as we were trying to focus on the play, but dealing with the family a few rows behind us as well.
I would definitely go again. Take a look at prices and where you will sit as there are two levels and box seats. Prices will be relative so have a look beforehand.
I. A.
Nice old theatre kids had a lovely time was a little difficult getting refreshments it overall for an old city centre theatre some funny memories 😄
M. J.
Show was great but I'm a little disappointed that for a kids show they were charging everyone £1 to hire a booster cushion so the little ones could actually see the stage 🤷🏼♀️ Now this may sound petty as it's only £1 but after spending £116 on four tickets I'd have thought they would be have been complimentary anyway.
D. H.
Had front row seats to 80's night at The Belgrade. You couldn't get anymore up close and personal. Great seats.
Queue for the bar was ridiculous and once we got there it was expensive for a round of shorts. Lager and wine prices weren't too horrific.
Had a great night. Plenty of room in the seats. We had space to dance too.
J. A. S.
Went to see 80’s Mania show. Absolutely great! A real bounce back to the old days of real music. Lots of dancing in the aisles.
Theatre staff well organised, although prepaid drinks at interval in bar were missing, so time was lost requesting them again, and interval was only of 15 minutes or so.
H. H.
Great night out, family friendly, great interval arrangements and well located for parking and food.
D. S.
We went for the Santa's adventure show, the kids loved it, there was songs and dancing, the puppet rudolph also had the kids laughing, after the show they picked a present from Santa and had a photo with them, the show does only last 30mins but was long enough for kids who get a bit fidgety after that!
S. C.
It is several years since I visited this old established theatre. It hasn't changed that much although the auditorium is slightly smaller than I remember. However the seating is comfortable and on this occasion the show was a sell out which meant that it was a good audience. I had a very enjoyable evening and hopefully I won't leave it too long before a return visit.
A. H.
Took 3 year old grandson to see The Gruffalo and we had a great afternoon. We had good seats but the £1 for a booster seat for my grandson was well worth it. Would definitely go again.
A. B.
A lot of money spent on doing it up. Much nicer now. They just need to organise the bars better to serve quicker.
T. R.
Really good. Friendly. And watched a absolutely great show. Rocky horror was brilliant. All of us enjoyed it. Just a jump to the left. Lol. Xxx
k. c.
Great selection of shows.
Good views of stage and easy parking nearby. Great to be back after covid disruptions.
S. C.
"Rocky Horror Show"
Absolutely brilliant, a great night out with lots of audience participation.
Can't beat a boogie to "The Time warp".
c. v.
Helpfull friendly staff, great price tickets. Just waiting for another play to take my fancy to visit again.
P. I.
Lovely theatre only downside little leg room so if long legs think about where you're sitting
F. J.
Watched six love it need more shows like this lovely treat easy to find parking and coventry has great eating venues
D. M.
Had a tremendous evening @ The Belgrade with 'Beautiful' - the Carole King story. The cast were fantastic and the music phenomenal!
H. M.
Went on a school trip to watch Bombay Superstar. My God it was amazing, it had humour, classic indian music. 😃
J.
Fantastic. Clean venue. Brilliant sound and lighting. Show was superb.
N. B.
Just a lovely place to be.. kind and helpful staff... especially the ones on box office
M. R.
Lovely visit to the Belgrade theatre, lovely big bar area and seating, great seats to watch Bugsy Malone, good welcoming theatre...
L. L.
Brilliant pantomime as usual. First time going on opening night. Will go again next year.
R. C.
Great theatre. Friendly and helpful staff. Slightly frustrating that they only took cash on the merchandise stall. Wish they had more well known shows here
J. F.
Went to see Six
Very impressed
This was my first visit but definitely won't be the last, Staff were amazing too
A. A.
Jack and the Beanstalk pantomime, was great fun for the whole family.
R. B.
This time we only used the cafe, a relaxing place to go... the theatre itself puts on some amazing shows too.
L. K.
This was my first experience at this place. I enjoyed the church, the peace, calm ambience. The Quoir and the prayers sung was beautiful. Crowd was amazing. Must visit place for Sundays.
A. B.
We had a great time at the Belgrade theatre. Everything was well organised done under covid regulations. The show April in Paris was so funny just so nice to see live theatre again.
J. F.
Went to see A Christmas Carol, into small theatre. It is so up close and personal!! The staff are always friendly and helpful. Love this place!!!
C. B.
Nice building and facilities. Staff friendly and helpful. Saw the Santa & Mystery Guest show for young children. Performers were very good, and songs were nice, but music was too loud at times and drowned out words. Show was quite short and I would have liked more interaction with children other than getting them to shout and scream louder
A. H.
Fantastic night Neil Diamond tribute
M. P.
Very pleasant evening. All theatre staff very helpful and production excellent
D. M.
Had a great experience watching Bugsy here. Easy to get to and local parking.
C. L.
The Theatre is well looked after and the staff were friendly and helpful.
J. T.
Really enjoyed the pantomime this afternoon went with my daughter
L. Q.
Great theatre and doesn't matter where you sit view is fab
S. M.
Just returned from seeing Peter pan. Great show the majority of the cast were young and performed like professionals. Lobby area was comfortable and clean, theatre itself was great.
The only thing that let it down were the ushers. Pouncing on people for having their phone out, it was very disturbing. In a time where social media is taking over what is the harm of taking a photo? In a time where we are returning to life after covid where parents can take their children out what is the harm in taking family photos?
S.
Seats are comfy and the burlesque show was great, the que seems to be long for drinks but they get it down quickly so don't worry
K. R.
I just love the Belgrade. Another fantastic show, uber-helpful staff and lovely cafe.
W. S.
Great performance by all and the panto is always amazing for all ages and for the first time we got to sit on the front row.
C. K. (.
Beautiful noise...Neal Diamond tribute fantastic...atmosphere electric....
P. Y.
Great show. Glad to support local theatres
S. K.
We went to watch beauty and the beast, all the staff were friendly, professional and helpful. The room we were in wasn't too big so no matter where you sat you were able to get a good view of the stage. There is a NCP car park walking distance from the theatre, they have restaurants nearby so you can eat before or after the show. The town centre is also walking distance. The theatre have there own bar that serve alcoholic beverages. The toilets are clean.
S. H.
Went to see a schools concert which was excellent but the sound was not the best, speech being barely audible. We went on a hot evening and it was very hot inside.
G. C.
Great panto at a great price
Easy to get to with plenty of parking nearby
D. O.
Great theatre right in the heart of the city. Modern theatre with a couple of staging spaces available. Both are modern and spacious. Varied programme throughout the year, well worth a visit.
J. A.
Beautiful place, easy to find the seats you need.
A. F.
Visited the B2 stage which was a great space for the Santa show. Great coffee and cake too.
J. D.
Saw 'The Bone Sparrow' production as a first-time theatre go-er;
We had a wonderful evening celebrating my girlfriend's 20th, going on an emotional joyride by the powerful acting on show. The venue itself was very pleasant to be in, even luxurious in terms of the fittings and customer service of staff.
Ultimately, I am convinced that my visits should be much more frequent and I would recommend to many, including those who might be strangely apprehensive to go as I was.
S. D.
Great night. Belgrade Theatre delivered once again. Will definitely be back.
A. T.
Great local parking for an evening out at a show. Great staff in a beautiful venue.
You don't have to catch a show to pop in to the elegant bar and restaurant.
N. P.
We went to see Bollywood Superstar and thoroughly enjoyed it.
A. M.
A great evening. Great singers and an immersive experience as promised. Club 2B was a great show, brilliant singers and the casino experience afterwards was a great addition. Lots of fun. Brilliant concept. Couldn't fault it.
D. F.
Just seen the new showing of theatre adaption of Da Vinci Code, really fast paced and enjoyable, with great acting! Lovely venue, cafe bar and friendly staff... Would definitely come back to see another show!
D. M.
The theatre puts on great productions. I have particular fond memories of the pantomime touch tours for the visually impaired that I have taken a deaf / blind lady to. The cast who let VI people feel the costumes so they can visualize them in the show are lovely and friendly. Thanks.
M. C.
Fabulous theatre, helpful staff, fantastic show's & handy for a coffee/tea break from city bustle.
Sadly, during a charity show by Maggie Gallagher featuring her Irish dancers from age 6 on 13/07/18 the sound engineering failed (whilst the little ones were performing) which interrupted the flow & confidence. Maggie herself had to fill in with her charming personality on the first occasion.
Then during the popular Riverdance, the sound failed again. This time the show was stopped for 15 mins to repair the fault.
The Belgrade manager did apologize on stage, but this offers little consolation to the very young children who were forced to ad-lib! It would be a great opportunity for Coventry to offer a donation to the charity in question,as well as a public apology in the Telegraph from the Belgrade.
T. K.
Haven't visited they're for years, went to see Peter Pan with my friend to support her grand daughter. The downstairs has been refurbished and is very attractive and the ladies loos are amazing.
J. R.
All very pleasant, comfy seats, all very clean and tidy. Drinks seemed reasonably priced. The show was funny too but obviously depends which show you see!
C. W.
Went to see Jack and the Beanstalk. Really good
S. D.
Colouring pictures, dressing up, tooth hunt! Hallowe'en for children, great fun .
N. M.
This is the fourth year that we have been to the Christmas pantomime at the Belgrade Theatre, and it never disappoints. The atmosphere is fantastic and the children absolutely love the show. The theatre itself is well located in Coventry city centre with ample parking in the multistorey right next to the venue. There is also a cafe and a bar inside for refreshments.
K. S.
Had a fantastic time seeing Legend Bob Marley lastnight. Great performance by Micheal & hos band.
D. D.
Not bad, comedy shows, funny name and all.
M. P.
I had not been to the theatre for a long time so I decided to take the whole family this time. Belgrade Theatre in Coventry is an absolutely fantastic venue. I can't praise them enough. The lady behind one of the bars so so lovely, she made my wife and our kids some non alcoholic cocktails despite the fact that the bar did not actually serve them normally.
There was plenty of thought in relation to Covid issues and I really felt safe. The face mask were kindly encouraged and recommended but no one was too pushy. All in all we had a brilliant evening. Thank you so much Belgrade Theatre. You are marvellous!!!
C.
Coventry Panto. What a show! It was genuinely hilarious and had a great production quality. The Dame ( who also writes the show) had the most elaborate dresses I've ever seen and was brilliant. This show is expensive but you won't be disappointed.
R. G.
80s Mania was fantastic! Megan (colleague) and Rachael (security) were so professional and friendly. They had a tough job trying to tell the old, old men not to stand up even though they should have known better. Imagine harassing the people just doing their jobs, the lack of intelligence and respect is astounding. Great time regardless would definitely go again!
P. W.
Comfortable seating, good drinks area & well staffed
C. T.
Went to see seven drunken nights the story of the dubliners absolutely fantastic show great atmosphere everyone upon there feet dancing at the end only little gripe it's so hot in there suggest they turn the Air con up
c. b.
Went to see Gruffalo a lot of noise from Children obviously but great fun highly recommend 👌
G. (.
Amazing show really enjoyed it. We'll worth going too
J. C.
Fantastic pantomime great costumes and plenty of fun had by all the family.
T. S. O. M.
Really lovely theatre. Seen four shows here so far.
L. M.
Popped in for coffee, the downstairs bar/cafe has been revamped very nice.
N. K.
Theater with different stages. They over a broad catalogue of plays and also they offer lessons
A. H.
Took family to see pantomime Beauty and the Beast. Brilliant time children loved it . Got really involved with songs. Great value for money
H. W.
Lovely theatre and great panto
D. T.
If ever a play deserved a wider audience then Fighting Irish is it . Great little theatre with very welcoming atmosphere.
M. Y.
Watched the 80s show here, it was an amazing show highly recommended. Could of done with more bar staff as very slow. But a great place to go, we've already booked to more shows to go and see.
N. R.
Beauty and the beast was fab... the kids loved it but I think I loved it more
V. K.
Rocky horror picture show, absolutely fantastic!!!!
J. K.
Great entertainment good view and easy parking
T. K.
Really enjoyed Beauty and the Beast. Great performance. Snacks are pricey but I guess that's to be expected at the theatre. Would visit again :)
h. w.
Amazing show Dirty dancing on its own would definitely get 5 stars but the theatre was so hot 🔥 actually felt quite ill, everyone was moaning about it and it did take the shine off the night.
L. P.
David Williams Demon Dentist...not the casts fault but ....boring.
Y. W.
Great to go back to the Belgrade. The upgrade to the cafe and lobby area very good. So far have been twice this year and not disappointed. Staff are excellent.
A. P.
Saw first time in the side stage and it was personal and intimate, was a fantastic show and the venue did well to manage the demand for two shows on at once
L. C.
Went to the pantomime with my 4 year old grandson but had to take him out due to being scarred. Whilst sitting on the balcony a member of staff asked if we were okay. Following our response we were offered a box with the freedom to come and go as required and this worked.
S. K.
Watched The Gruffalo and my 4 year old absolutely loved it.
C. K.
Tonight i went to see Seven drunken night's. The story of the Dubliners. It was incredible. Fantastic night
S. W.
Good theatre, great show and good atmosphere
N. L.
Great modern theatre, nice loos, no queues in the interval. Well stocked bar and delicious ice cream. Staff helpful.
H. R.
A wonderful venue with extremely friendly and helpful staff. Seats were excellent with a perfect view of the stage. I realise that the most important aspect of going to the theatre is your overall enjoyment of the production. I certainly wasn't disappointed, "Once" was absolutely fantastic.
V. W.
A wonderful Peter pan performance the venue is very well accommodated with everything that I saw in tip top condition
f. v.
I enjoyed The Neil Diamond tribute band, great show, and the Belgrade Theatre staff are helpful and polite, well worth visiting this Theatre.
S. R.
Panto was great as it is every year.
S. M.
Brilliant show, great laughs but also poignant. Groan Ups was well worth seeing again. Theatre is a nice size too. Staff very friendly and helpful.
D. C.
Love the theatre. Not too big, though it's ready for it's renovations, it doesn't detract from the friendliness of the place.
Great show...Buddy Holly Story...and very well done. You could see everyone put their heart and soul into the production.
L. L.
Great show ( Come What May) but sound quality and the worst G&T ever cost the review a star.
Great to be back in live theatre tho. 👍
M. A.
It took a very long time to get out the adjacent carpark.
C. R.
Paperless booking and tickets. Small audience, brilliant play with great cast. Very Covid friendly except for some reason the programme sales and pre-booked ice creams - why order on line and then they have to print tickets, which they were unable to do? Early days I guess. Overall good.
N. D.
Love this place fantastic night out
J. K.
Always enjoy a trip to this theatre.
D. F. (.
Excellent show here. Facilities are quite reasonable, staff pleasant enough. Parking quite close, short walk to venue, 150 yards or so. Seats were a little uncomfortable for me but I'm over 6ft. Good venue though, would recommend.
N. S.
Went as part of a family outing to see the pantomime. Centrally located, easy parking in the ncp next to the theatre. Lovely theatre, nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Great production, enjoyed by all ages. Would definitely recommend going to see a show.
T. A.
Haven't been to this theatre for years. It's been updated and modernised. We visited the cafe, we ordered tea which came in a mug, shame they didn't serve it in a pot, and cakes which were nice. Overall a good experience, would visit again.
D. B.
Thoroughly enjoyed last night's performance. Very good singing, especially Badger's lovely voice. With street dance, rapping and sign language all fitting together brilliantly with great acting skill and clever working of the story line
J. S.
Excellent concert, The Illegal Eagles, great acoustics and a friendly bar team
R. L.
Fantastic venue! Very good theatre with bars and food, surrounded by a plethora of good restaurants and bars👍
L. H.
Was amazing to be back there after all this time away. The theatres closed. Felt safe and clean. No restrictions in place. Allowed to clap and cheer and sing along. Good security.
D. S.
I love going to this amazing Gem in the centre of Coventry. The parking is so easy and a quick walk to the theatre. The staff are always helpful and friendly. It is wheelchair accessible and there is a cafe plus bar and restaurant so most tastes can be satisfied. I would encourage them to offer more special diet and healthy options. Coconut milk ice-cream along side the traditional dairy ice-cream would have been a lovely touch. I would encourage any one to go the shows are varied and there is something for everyone.
s. m.
Watched Rocky Horror it was fantastic 👍
C. C.
Had a lovely night watching a fantastic performance of Frankenstein. Parking in the Plaza is easy and right next door to the theatre. Staff are friendly and efficient and the shows are great. A lovely night out for couples with several restaurants as soon as you step outside.
l. l.
Love this Theatre especially since new multi story parking lot just out back quick cultured walk. Great food and dining options prior to shows and gigs if you fancy. Have seen so many amazing acts from Danny La Rue to Cannon and Ball to Trextaxy. Love the relaxed waiting areas, theatre layout easy access for all. Sound quality amazing. Make sure you book this year's pantomime!
B. A.
With a good selection of shows/lessons /workshops, there is always something to appeal to most people. The seating in the theatre is adequate. The stage sets are usually fabulous. Worth checking out to see what's on.
G. A.
Small theatre with good seating...
very close to car park.
( cheap car park with wireless paying on the gate)
D. H.
Bar area very crowded at the entrance. People queuing to the outside causing difficulty getting in. It's a nice theatre but at performance end a half hour queue to pay for the parking.
M. S.
Brilliant celebration of the 80's music event
D.
I love going to the Belgrade, Thank goodness they have updated the seating I was told there are wider too. Saw a great show the lady vanishes which is Alfred Hitchcock film the play is brilliant. Would like more shows to come to Coventry like wicked, Jersey boys. Been to some great shows and some not so good.
K. G.
Really enjoyed our night out great experience and show. Would highly recommend the Belgrade Theater.
M. P.
Very impressed with the theatre. I didn't go for a show but did some filming there. Staff were friendly and accommodating. The areas I saw were bright and airy and had a nice vibe. I noticed a knitting club there which shows its a great place to get together.
K. K.
Loved going back to the theatre. Only criticism was they say that people should wear masks but hardly anyone did and no-one questioned it.
V. R.
Just took my 6 year old to see Puss in Boots. I don't normally like pantos. This was absolutely brilliant and she can't stop talking about it. Actors are brilliant and totally hilarious. I'll definitely go to next year's.
R. M.
Great show and funny for adults and children (Cinderella at the panto) only downside is that the boxes are cramped and have a limited view. Otherwise the theatre is clean, well set out, has a bar, cafe and snacks area, is wheelchair accessible and has sufficient toilet facilities.
y. s.
Brilliant performance of Fighting Irish and great music before the performance by Coventry Comhaltas. A great evening ☺️
L. P.
Great pantomime. Really funny and great interaction with the aurdance. The set was fabulous and everyone in it. We went to see sleeping beauty on opening night and the fairies was amazing, but one stole our hearts 😘❤ Well done everyone one involved. 👏👏👏
L. M.
Great atmosphere, friendly staff.
N. B.
Six The Musical .
R. T.
Good sized venue where you've got a good view from wherever you sit. Easy parking right next door in a big multi storey car park. Step free access to both car park and theatre. Great range of shows appealing to all audiences
A. G.
Just got home having watched the Bye Bye Baby celebrating Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons at The Belgrade Theatre Coventry. What a lovely show. The music was fantastic. The audience were very appreciative and everyone stood applauding at the end of the show. I would recommend this show to anyone that likes music.
Adrian Gurney 24 January 2020

Excellent theatre in the heart of Coventry. Easy to get to and excellent parking nearby. I've seen a couple of performances there and all have been exceeded expectations. Really like the intimate nature of the smaller second stage as well. Highly recommended.
B. H.
It's a great theatre, really enjoyed the panto as did our 8 year old niece. NCP parking very close by had plenty of space and reasonably priced for city centre. Lots of space at both bars with facility to order drinks for interval.
P. O.
A nice venue a lot of parking options close by, we went to see The Buddy Holly story which was a great choice and we enjoyed it thoroughly. Not a huge venue but good facilities for eating and drinking, and good staff too so you don't spend too long queuing at the interval. It's a busy part of the city so give yourself plenty of time to get parked when you arrive, there's a pick up point for those less able right outside the theatre with a turning circle which is great.
To add to that we have since visited again to see 'Once, the musical' which was another great production and an equally good experience. This time we parked in the Belgrade plaza car park which is just a few hundred metres away and has its entrance directly off the ring road, plus it's a very reasonable price for parking.
S. D.
Clean, tidy theatre, great staff, always a pleasure to watch a show here
A. M.
Great Theatre in the center of Coventry. Cafe and bars staff very helpful. Good national shows plus local talent.
M. S.
Went to see the 60's experience, absolutely fabulous, really enjoyed it. Refreshments a tad expensive, but to be expected.
Q. S.
Lovely theatre. Once you have worked out where to park it is super fast and convenient (come off the ring road, and then head back on to the ring road and park in the car park on your left). You can prepay for a parking ticket (£3.50) before the site begins, and miss the crush at the end. Oh, do take a look at the back of the parking ticket, too, you may find a substantial discount for one of the local restaurants.

Went to see the life of Bob Marley show and very good it was, The theatre itself is a lovely building with a good atmosphere, been here many times and enjoyed myself on most occasions.
Support live theatre before it's lost forever, lots of shows from £15 this year.
T. M.
Wonderful venue. Exceptionally clean and smart interior. Fast and friendly bar service. Great production.
P. R.
Nice theatre which had a very good production of a children's favourite. Seating was cramped and dated which was a negative. Be aware that for younger children booster seats are A) an extra cost and B) are limited. We ended up getting one of the last hard plastic seats. This hurt my son's legs so he ended up sitting on me.
If you have found my review helpful, please give it a '👍'. Thank you.
A. G.
It was amazing experience theatre performance..
D. M.
Great theatre. Easy to get to and lots of parking nearby. Theatre has excellent sight lines so you will see the action on stage wherever you sit. Good pricing as well, a lot cheaper than the Alex in B'ham
T. B.
Always great shows. Venue clean, well ventilated. Felt safe and good to be at the theatre again.
J. D.
Nice coffee before funny show. Good seats for theatre. Clean fresh facilities. Car park (ncp) right next to theatre.
M. M.
Six of us old friends meet for coffee and chat every week. Staff always friendly and polite. Thank-you.
M. S.
A really lovely little theatre.
This was our first visit (to see "Gangsta Granny") and we found it to have a warm, cosy, feeling.
The prices were really good and the staff friendly.
There's good parking nearby and plenty of nice places to eat.
A. B.
It's so nice to see the Theatre open again for public. I have always liked the shows put in the theatre. Great place.
J. B.
The theatre a fine venue.
The show I saw was awesome.
Ruff puff tough stuff as it was so well done.
R. C.
Very good. Well organised
c. t.
A very good community theatre doing great things with children and older adults. They stage some wonderful plays, tribute bands and pantomime every year. They are not afraid to put on controversial and thought provoking performances. Which makes Coventry and very good candidate for City of culture.
E. T.
Was here for the Honk Musical. Love the vibrant and the variety of shows it offers. Could offer a better time for children as if the show starts at 7pm it would be very late for the children. Otherwise what a good show!
G. Y.
An amazing theatre, very classy, well kept and clean. Great show!
D.
Nice theatre good parking
A. W.
Brilliant performance of Annie, staff were helpful as always. The theatre is very clean and comfortable, with plenty of toilets and ideally located by lots of restaurants so you can have a bite before the theatre.
K. S.
Great theatre. Good view even in the stalls. We saw the full Monty and it was fantastic. Very funny and the full Monty! Highly recommend. Some nice restaurants very close by with convenient parking close by as well.
A. W.
We've seena panto " the sleeping beauty" and it was just great. A very good quality, good acting skills, funny and with a wit.
What the theater has to improve is the massive use of the plastic cups at the bar. It is a nuisance that they don't provide a proper glasses for your drinks.
T. S.
Great theatre. Helpful staff. New café good. Well organised.
Y. O.
I visit the theatre several times a year, for shows,or bands that I personally enjoy ,the theatre has just finalised this year's programme, as with most theatres the program is widespread. A full list can be found on line .the more popular events sell out quickly so I would advise booking early.the prices are comparable with other theatres.wheelchair friendly, but ask the staff to confirm when booking.the foyer is large with a well appointed bar.a second bar upstairs mainly used for those in the circle.car parking just yards from the theatre on a multi storey car ark
S. D.
Great night with friends car park rook abit long time to get out all though its only 5 mins from theater venue is great though
E. R.
Very efficient stewarding with no hanging about. We were in B2 which was a bit chilly but didn't detract from the performance which was excellent.
B. W.
Nice little theatre. I went for a show while I was travelling and really liked the atmosphere and how friendly the staff were.
V. W.
Great to be back in the theatre. Great show, very funny. Sherlock Holmes and the hound of the Baskerville.
L. H.
Saw Menopause the Musical. Absolutely hilarious. Accessible toilet was a bit grubby. But I found all staff I spoke to really friendly & helpful. The lady on the desk with the CD's was lovely & we had a chat & a laugh together. We ordered interval drinks of coffees & these were there for us & hot. Will defo revisit. Thank you for a great evening
L. T.
An amazing organisation to work for as a actor, really nurturing team behind the scenes.
The venue is stunning, lovely cafe, bar and dinning area available.
They also do lot's of out reach opportunities with the local community, young and old. This impressed me a lot because their a world class venue with a home feel.
I. P.
A very modern building & interior in what is becoming a modern upbeat setting.
It does have a nice contemporary feeling to the theatre and has friendly staff, yet I feel there is something missing, which I can't quit put my finger on
It's usually very busy & I think rather expensive too.
Handy car park in the nearby plaza.
C. W.
Had a lovely evening at the Belgrade all at their best Jack n the beanstalk
H. E.
Iain Lauchlan's pantos at The Belgrade are a great family Christmas treat ever year, he plays a great dame, and with Craig Hollingsworth make for a laugh a minute delight.
G. S.
Nice Theatre, however, their choice of wine is not very good. Mini bottles and house are not very pleasant to drink, which has spoilt my last two visits.
There are many mini wines now available so it shouldn't be difficult to have a selection available at a reasonable standard.
B. K.
It's not as big or as posh as some, but its comfortable, clean and friendly. Everything is well maintained including toilets. Good shows, reasonably priced. Food and drink available at lovely licensed restaurant. Great ice cream in interval.
C. B.
Went to see Freemans Dance School show which, as always, was excellent. I go every year and it's always a sellout. I just wish they would put sufficient bar staff on. I arrived 45mins before the show and there was only 2 staff on in the main bar. Hopefully they'll improve for next year!!
S. C.
Lovely and clean/modern theatre with a huge car park (Belgrade Plaza) just 100m away. We sat in row D of circle and could see everything as steps are steep so people sat in front of you don't obstruct your view. We could even pre-order interval drinks and they were ready as promised on time. Will definitely be seeing more shows here!
S. B.
Lovely theatre. Friendly staff
Good range of productions
R. H.
The staff were very helpful, and the theatre atmosphere was brilliant. Unfortunately the show wasn't as good as we were expecting but the theatre was clean and the seats were comfortable. We rented a booster cushion for £1 but didn't need it for our 8 year old. Would definitely go again to watch a different show. A good evening overall, extra bonus with it being just steps away from the Belgrade multi storey carpark and just opposite are some good food places!
S. W.
Great theatre, friendly helpful staff just got back from This years end of season pantomime "Cinderella" and it was fabulous! Suberb sets and amazing production and fun for all the family great laughs throughout! will be back again!
Also going to book next Christmas's panto!
G. W.
I honestly cried when the cast brought kids onto the stage and one of the kids spoke into the microphone and said, "I love you Mum." You guys are amazing, 11/10 would recommend to watch a show here ♥️
F. M.
Brilliant. When to finale of the comedy festival. Show was great. Venue very easy to get around and impressed by the sustainability efforts including separate bins to dispose of the new compostable takeaway packaging.
A. N.
Girly night out at the theatre. Great place, gets busy during intervals, but queue went down quickly. Car park nearby too. Some food shops nearby close after 10.30pm.
J. V.
Lovely theatre, great location with some nice places to eat and drink both in the theatre and nearby. We enjoyed our evening.
K. L.
Loved the panto and so did my son, but just a shame they charge for a booster seat as other theatre's don't, which makes sense as you've paid for a show, so should be included if needed!
B. F.
Went to see Legends a Bob Marley tribute band and they were excellent. They combined so well with the audience who joined in on all the Bob Marley favourites, a great night at a very reasonable price at only £25.
S. S.
Magical as usual.... nothing like live theatre!
R. a. N. N.
Went to see Joseph this evening..brilliant show. Lovely theatre, but one complaint! Our seats were in rear circle and both were very uncomfortable - felt worn and bumpy! Think they need replacing.
H. J.
Some great performances! I really enjoy going. I know my auntie is a massive fan. Little over priced but that’s show business. 😉
C. P.
A great theatre...for all types of live performances 👏 🎶😎
K. H.
A theatre which is not too big so you feel small and insignificant, but one where you can feel totally immersed whether a play or a solo performance. Easy parking and a choice of places to eat close by.
A. A.
Very comfortable theatre with great facilities. Staff all really friendly and helpful. I've never had a bad experience there. I go alone on many occasions but have always felt safe and looked after.
A. H.
Wonderful theatre but strange audience. Quite a few people arrived late. Some shone their phone lights to find their way. Two people arrived 25 minutes after the play had started. Two women were texting on their phones despite being told by another audience member to turn it off. Incredible how many people can't do without food for 90 minutes. Slightly distracting but fortunately didn't spoil a brilliant production of Noughts and Crosses.
D. B.
Very nice large modern looking theatre, although it dates back to 1957 and is listed.
Great staff, cafe and restaurant.
A wide variety of high quality shows
Recommended
J. W.
I love this theatre been here to see some outstanding stuff...full of nostalgia but modern decor...great bars..friendly helpful staff...right in town centre and a stones throw from a premier inn to make a nice long weekend.
S. G.
Lovely place which has lots of great stuff on. Went in to book tickets (as one of our party is a wheelchair user) for our family.
The man on the desk was really helpful and went out of his way to find us seating in and near the disabled box!👍
B. I.
Visited to see the fantastic West Yorkshire Playhouse production of Sunshine on Leith. This is a well looked after theatre with friendly staff and good facilities. Didn't use the bar or cafe, but they were both busy.
L. J.
Lovely theatre. Plenty of shows on every week. Came to see Meatloaf Story. Show was excellent. Have since booked up more shows there. Would definitely recommend.
M. M.
Pleasant surroundings, good seating. Nice little cafe area adjoined.
D. C.
A great theatre in the heart of Coventry, surrounded by restaurants. Not too big, not too small. The second, smaller stage in particular provides an intimate and inclusive atmosphere during productions
L. H.
What a stunner of a show! Loved the band of good fairies as opposed to just one fairy godmother. Loved the dragon, the audience participation bits, the sprites 'Devil went down to Georgia' dance was really effective and Morag was fab. Dame Fanny and Muddles hilarious as ever and the jobs we'd do if we didn't do panto routine blew me away. Kids doing baby shark were stars in their own right as was John.
Best one for years and that's really saying something. Loved it thank you xx
R. W.
Went to see Rick Stein man's, Anything for Love.. Brilliant Show. The Theatre was clean and tidy but could do with more seating in the coffee house..
j. W.
Lovely theatre space, maybe a little tired but easily accessible and Staff always very helpful too. I just saw my first show in the much smaller studio and that too is a lovely intimate space.
K. D.
Enjoyed the Da Vinci Code . Very good bar area. Car parking very close by. A very good experience.
L. R. B.
Amazing theater, have great shows on, and a wide variety of shows. Seen Circus of Horrors, Roll Over Beethoven, Vampire Rocks to name a few. Going to see the Meatloaf show in October. Brilliant!!!🤘🏻🐝🤘🏻🐝🤘🏻🐝🤘🏻🐝🤘🏻🐝🤘🏻🐝🤘🏻🐝🤘🏻🐝🤘🏻
M. C.
As usual a top class visit. This theatre is an excellent place to visit.
M. F.
Small theatre, foyer area is nice but theatre itself is quite shabby. Most of the upholstery on the seats are frayed or torn. It just looks tired and in need of some TLC. None of the above effected or enjoyment of the show.
B. W.
We had great seats in the circle, nice bar with clean and modern theatre
G. P.
A nice place with a lovely square outside the front. Great performance spaces of varying sizes with a very full and varied programme. Recommend highly. Great staff and also great youth theatre groups.
a.
It is a small theatre but a great venue, good staff, the auditorium has enough leg room and a good view of the stage, there is convenient parking nearby.
M. B.
Went to Belgrade to see 80's Mania it was amazing the music was first class and the dancing and costumes took you straight back to the 80's. The Belgrade is a super theatre comfortable seats, very clean and the Staff very polite and friendly. I have been there a few times now and absolutely love it I can thoroughly recommend it for a good entertsining evening out.
J. B.
Excellent venue, comfortable seating, very good facilities
J. G.
Always enjoy going here. Shame there's no programs since covid. They are a mommento of what we've seen. Hope they return soon.
T. G. (. /. I.
A well kept and stunning building that is packed with amenities. Very helpful and friendly staff who were all too keen to show us round and help us with our conference hire enquiries.
Also visited for the FSB event - great deliver of breakfast, and well organised from the venue perspective - very impressed!
S. L.
Great night out. The 3 actors were brilliant funny and entertaining.
N. S.
Excellent evening. Theatre have done well to reopen so early. Staff really pleasant and helpful.
R. B.
My daughter went to the relaxed pantomime performance today. She has autism. There has been great thought put in reducing the effects of anxiety caused by sensory overload. Well done.
A. T. (.
Great showing of Joseph the musical last night! The only problem was that it was really hot sitting in the Circle area near Door C. Maybe the air-con wasn't turned on despite the mild winter night?
S. W.
Bar service was a bit of a shambles to be honest. The venue was good, clean and small which was nice. Lost my wallet there and security helped me get it back as someone had very kindly handed it in. If the bar service was better it would have five stars.
A.
I visit here to collect their waste batteries. Very helpful team of staff, always a pleasure to visit. As for the quality of production I cannot comment but if it's anything like the intricate detail and knowledge they display for their used batteries I expect it is 10/10.
E. C.
Lovely little theater
R. Ż.
I have been several times taking advantage of the theatre's Free Tickets for 19-25s offer. With superb atmosfere and great plays, I could undoubtely say it's one of Coventry's gems.
A. C.
Love the belgrade have been quite few times for different events and never fails to entertain .. been socially with friends and family but also done workshops with students i work with and is always a pleasure. The staff are great and venue is kept lovely. Definatley reccommend!
F. A.
The Belgrade theatre Coventry is well worth a visit to see a show. I have been several times, mostly to see plays. We have sat in various places stalls and circle and always had a good view. There is a multi storey carpark close by and also a few chain restaurants if you want to eat first.
K. J.
Lovely theatre, excellent show, (Saturday Night Fever,) reasonable prices too Just a shame there weren't more people there, deserved a bigger audience
T. B.
Had a really good time here. Nice community feel while putting on an amazing production.
R. F.
Lovely theatre venue
K. Y. C.
Experienced the B2 stage and it was cosy and intimate, really made us feel we were part of the play. As for the Play: "Under the Umbrella", it was brilliant, funny, exciting and dramatic. Almost haunting in parts. Really related to alot of the events that took place, the mix of Western and Eastern beliefs and traditions was well balanced and told a compiling story. Brilliant stage set tooz very simple but also very detailed in story telling. Minimalistic style. I applaud the production team, story tellers and actors.
Also the Bard's ice cream in the interval was gorgeous too.
D. F.
Tonight's play was superb. Theatre was a nice temperature. Drinks were a reasonable price. As always I enjoyed the venue very much
C. T.
as usual a fantastic panto. everyone got involved. definitely go again next year. would really love to meet the cast and thank them personally for a great performance.
K. B.
Warm and friendly theatre. Large enough to be spacious but still intimate. Drinks and snacks a bit pricey. Buy them next door at newsagents!
B. K.
My neighbour and I went Belgrade Theatre to watched Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat with British Sign Language Rachel Tipping. This is very high fab show and emotions. My hat off for actors, actress, children n BSL Interpreter.
We cant waiting until 20th March - Blood Brothers with BSL interpreters.
Fab to very close car park. Good price.
Plenty to choice restaurants very close to theatre.
C. N.
There's always loads of great events here, a cafe and extremely helpful staff.
You're in the centre of the city with direct bus routes to the station and pretty much anywhere else.
There's private boxes in addition to standard seating.
J. H.
Spectacular ruin, well worth a visit.
It's free to National Trust members, but we noticed the price to non-members is pretty steep. Join, and go to another NT property, to get value.
We were disappointed by a lack of information boards, compared to other NT properties.
F. W.
Insufficient bar staff for a busy venue in the city of culture. BUT , staff in attendance worked extremely hard to ensure service was as speedy as possible.
L. G.
Great location, easy and affordable parking, great range of shows and affordable refreshments. It just needs a bit gonna refurb as the place feels a little tired and the seats are way too close to each other to be able to relax.
M. B.
spent a night with great people watching Dirty Dancing was a great show top performance 👌
S. S.
Exellent venue for nights out or a quite afternoon drink
M. F. w. k.
It was amazing really enjoyed it xxx
M. W.
Excellent for going to see shows.
And they did a craft day in the Octber holidays for children and dress up's from their stage costumes it was great fun for my daughter who is 5 half.
T. B.
Watched Dragons and Mythical Beasts. Excellently done in brilliant surrounds.
5 star production 5 star venue.
A. K.
Came here to see peppa pig live. My son enjoyed it. Its a shame they don't let you take photos of the show. I still did when the staff wasn't looking. Plenty of car parking spaces.
L. M.
Well-mannered helpful staff and prices very reasonable. Overall a very good experience and would highly recommend!
L. H.
Thank goodness for this lovely theatre in Coventry has some great shows good seats and now the NCP has taken the car park over ,it is cheaper to park although you cannot pay upfront now like you used to however don't let that put you off
S. P.
Great place to go, parking is great although can be a nightmare to get out of the multi storey after a big show. The venue itself is good quality and the shows are generally excellent.
m. w.
We all need to support our local theatres when we can. Panto was superb and nice venue
A. H.
Lovely theatre, good location, prices at the bar were average. Beware of the car Park though which has nothing to do with the theatre but when I left I was parked on the 8th floor but none of the lifts were working!
S.
Nice place for live theatre shows. Shame they took away the really cool rustic bar and replaced it with a cafe full of tacky IKEA furniture.
J. V.
Has had a lovely refit - a great place to go for the UNO business networking
1. M.
Panto..............absolutely brilliant what a show something for all ages
7/1/22 star of the show Mitchell (you know who you are )
L. P.
Have just seen Sleeping Beauty at the Belgrade. Once again it was hilarious. It's such a family show with something for everyone, young and old. Definitely booking for next year.
C. W.
Lovely theatre, always had a good experience when visiting here
A. A. C.
Cafe serves lovely toasties and cakes. Staff really polite and helpful. Theatre seating average. Magic of Motown fab show
K.
The Belgrade is one of my favourite places in Coventry, fab food, great place to hang out with friends and incredible shows.
d. w.
Great for a catch up sitting outside with friends, prices have gone up menu limited, would not eat here, prices expensive for what u get.
t. l.
We love it here it's our favourite theatre and we like to sit in one of the boxes at the back
J. e.
Brilliant place for kids very good selection of pantos at the moment
Beauty and the beast
Christmas carol
And many more
Brilliant memories
S. V.
Enjoyed the performance greatly. It was most unusual with the puppets action.
R. K.
Me and my wife went to the Belgrade Theatre to book a forthcoming event. And we where treated with warmth and respect, especially by the lad name Jamie. It was nice to be treated as such. And I can not comend them enough
M. W.
Great local theatre. Always a good experience and a wide variety of productions. Just seen this year's panto. Modern with good facilities.
J. F.
I love the Belgrade. It's great to have a theatre in the centre of Coventry and the plays are really well chosen. Add on the cafe and bar area and I think it's a real winner.
S. V.
Watched beauty and the beast with family, was a really good experience, highly recommend!
M. M.
Superb show, nice staff. Shame it was so so so hot in the theatre. They really need to do something about it, all the people around me were complaining, which is a real shame.
D. F. (.
Fabulous show. Rendition of the Everley s was brilliant and in adit iontophoresis them a Buddy Holly and Roy Orbison tribute were fantastic. A good nights entertainment.
J. T.
Brilliant show. Great acoustic.
G. H.
First class entertainment the only downside was the seating was a little bit small could do with a little bit more leg room but apart from that fantastic night
G. W.
Excellent night watching YOU WIN AGAIN Bee Gees Tribute .. Staff very helpful and assisting ..
R. M.
Brilliant production of "Wise Children" 4th April 2019 - so pleased we came & thanks to all the team, actors & staff. Great afternoon despite the cold weather
S. B.
Shows are always amazing! Staff friendly and helpfull. Always clean and well presented! Easy to park and get to with safe drop of points. We are lucky to have the Belgrade in Coventry!
P. O.
Great evening good company great show feel sorry for the security guy who had to try to stop people getting up to dance and also the poor female barmaid working alone upstairs in the bar but did a great job
P. S.
Saw a good play at the Belgrade. Front of house is modern and airy. Theatre itself is a bit worn, seating needs an upgrade, but it still does the job.
M. B.
Quaint and traditional and has kept all its charm since the refurb which is fantastic. Well done to the Belgrade 👍
R. L.
Excellent shows and well run theatre.Good variety of shows throughout the year.
The auditorium could do with a refurb. as it iis looking rather shabby and dated.
M. H.
Great little theatre, with a bar and restaurant. Good production and scenery. Seats comfy enough. Parking nearby at Belgrade Plaza. In town centre and close to restaurants such as Bella Italia, cafe rouge and pizza express for pre theatre dinner.
M. H.
Although it looks different now on the outside the old theatre area hasn't changed, we saw The story of the Dubliners, and were very impressed with the show although half time drinks were a bit on the expensive side
A. A.
I went to see The Magic of Motown for my wife's birthday and thoroughly enjoyed the show apart from the Usher/ Security opening the side door far too often.
I. K.
Lovely friendly staff in this city centre theatre
J. W.
Excellent parking facilities, decent stage and seating. Not quite the allure of London theatres but nothing to turn your nose up at.
B. A.
Went to see April in oaris very good considering staff were great and friendly nice to be able to go back to the theater
P. P.
Good theatre . The view from the front of the circle allows you to see all the stage but the rake of the circle and it's pulsations as people walk down it may mean that it's not suitable for those who have a problem with heights.
A. H.
Lovely place to visit to watch Billionaire boy
Plenty of space and friendly staff
B.
This theatre operates as a community hub as well as an excellent, accessible theatre. I was there today for our church of about 60 nationalities which Belgrade welcomes in every week. Today it was running alongside a youth theatre project the Belgrade is running. An excellent community resource, great team and a fantastic building.
P. N.
Haven't been to see a show for many many years.
Fantastic show, fantastic place, wonderful staff.
Thanks for a lovely evening
L. C.
Show was fab but sat at the back in the gods was an awful experience, like being in a furnace and made me feel incredibly ill, when I mentioned it to a member of staff I was told that the cooling system was broke and there was nothing that could be done about it... Not the response I expected but had to endure another 45 mins as I was with my grandaughter, there was alot of people with very red faces and fanning themselves trying to cool down... Ruined the show for me 😔😔
J. K.
Love this place have seen lots of shows and pantomimes, friendly and helpful staff. Recommend to everyone I will be going there as long as I can.
K. H.
Modern exterior and tired interior with dilapidated furnishings. The public areas and cafe are very nice with reasonable and fairly priced food and drink.
Easy to reach and very easy to park.
M. R.
Wow what a show. The gruffalo kept my 4 and nearly 2 year old captivated. Great place too with a few eateries nearby.
S. W.
Us Cov folk are lucky to have such a wonderful venue on our doorstep. Every show or production I've seen here has been excellent.
G. W.
The Belgrade Theatre is situated in the centre of Coventry with adjacent parking. I attended a recent Pantomime and found it excellent, especially for children. It has a bar and interval refreshments.🧚♂️🧙♀️🙎♂️🙍♀️🤷♂️🙋♀️💃🏃♂️🕺

In the last two weeks, I've seen two fantastic shows at the Belgrade; Black Men Walking and on Saturday, Son of a Preacher Man. Two very different productions, but both thoroughly enjoyable.

The pantomime was excellent and the theatre is comfortable with a good view

The Christmas Panto is not to be missed.

Really nicely refurbished. Not sure how recently it was refurbished but it's a different league to when I last went 20 years ago
H. W.
I had got really good theatre experience here! :)

2 great days spent at the Creative Health Symposium. Met lots of fun, talented, and determined people. It was educational and thought -provoking
M. T.
It was a really good place and had a great atmosphere and bar. Was going backstage and it was really good and accessible and it was really good. Had a great time sitting and watching the live music and it was really good.

Jacobs Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat was a brilliant show and the Belgrade is an amazing theatre and a major asset to Coventry. Long may they put on productions like this. Recommended.

Brilliant show, and parking near by. Theatre comfortable.
G. S.
Been to a couple of shows with new writers and actors and they were excellent. Good to see new talent coming through.

A bit cold & not very comfortable. Not enough seating in the Bar area.
Nice show. Very dated small Theatre.
M. R.
Loved the show. The theatre was clean an comfortable. Drinks que was not bad. All attendants were friendly
G. A.
Wonderful venue easily accessible from outside of the city.
S. A.
Great theatre, but definitely needs some more money put into it for a decor update. Looks very dated now.
D. F.
A great venue that's well supported in the city and some really good production's coming up I for one will be back in may!!
C. S.
Fantastic experience at the panto. Kids absolutely love it and we now go every Christmas. Only negative is the seats are getting very old and tired.
S.
A great theatre in the centre of Coventry. Park at the Belgrade Plaza carpark, just a few metres away. Perhaps treat yourself to a visit to Cosmo just over the road a few metres away for a lunch buffet or evening meal.
M. M.
Had a great evening have booked tickets for panto and a play next year
F.
Just watched Peter Pan here it was wonderful
p.
Another very good small theatre, about 900 capacity
All seem to have good views
NCP parking next door has queues to exit after show, about 10 minutes
e. m.
Enjoyed it so much were coming back in December. Staff were very professional and helpful.
S. “. S.
Its a classy modern venue with a.lively bar and plaza outside
Inside one of the best accoustic and restored theatre is a great place to see your favourite performances
P. P.
Just seen The Best of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons at The Belgrade Theatre, Coventry.....'OH WHAT A NIGHT'....AMAZING......
C. N.
Easy access, plenty of snack and drink options. Comfy seats though a bit tight for long legged adults.
I. A.
Has a good range of shows but the theatre itself itself, seats etc could do with a bit of a revamp.

Shows are well put together, only disadvantage is if you sit in a box, you could get the stage lights shine into your eyes, that wasn't nice.
