m. w.Great function room, big enough for large family celebrations. Food was a hot buffet of pork and stuffing batches, chicken and chips and vegetarian option too. Drinks reasonably priced
D. N.We played a self-promoted free gig in The Vanguard Suite and we only had a relatively small crowd for the capacity of the room but the event still worked really well. The stage is huge and so accommodated two bands easily. The room is also purpose built for live music, as the bar is an extension of the room behind closed doors, so getting served is easy and quick. Staff are great and all in all the perfect place for us to perform. In addition to the larger concert room there are also two other smaller capacity rooms which are also very well laid out and perfect for any occasion! Book your event here, you won't be disappointed! ;-)
S. S.The Standard triumph club is a lovely venue for all occasions. We where there for a presentation evening and it was the perfect venue for something that big.
The venue is situated just off the A45 which is perfect to get to from surrounding areas.
There was parking spaces but could be a little more against the amount the venue holds but this is my only criticism.
The bar staff where excellent they where very polite and friendly and there service was very quick. There was always a member of staff ready to serve the next person through the door.
The Standard Triumph Club was very clean and well maintained and I'm am looking forward to next years presentation night.
J. M.celebrated our wedding on 8th July 2017 had a great day and venue was perfect and Mike was most accommodating with our plans for the day. Food was excellent with plenty of variations. All in all a lovely day to remember.

A.Had my husband's 30th here last night in the dolomite room and it was a great night, but when I booked the room (months ago) I wasn't told that it would cash only, so many of my guests had to leave to go to a cash point as they don't have one on site, so that was a pain for people. Also they only had 1 person serving who didn't seem to have any knowledge of the alcohol they sold. The drinks are well priced but no deals either, especially on the shots.

D. M.The main room is a great size for large functions. I was there as part of a fundraising charity event and there was room for lots of stall . I have held and attended family events in both of the two smaller rooms and have never had any issues and always enjoyed the evenings
S. C.Been coming here for years, good little social club, had my 21st here and it was great. Room was upto standard, staff were friendly as always, reasonable price for the room, food and drinks. Had a great night overall and would definitely recommend this to other people.

W. S.3 great sized rooms for any special occasion. Food tastes great that they make. Drinks are a little pricey. Downside is they only accept cash and they dont have a cash machine to draw money out.

A. G.Good social club, prices are OK, was there for a works Christmas party. Great food on the buffet, decent night all round and reasonably located for taxi to city centre or handy for staying over at the village hotel which is within walking distance.
B. A.Standard is a very good club. The coaches are fun and patient. They always offer constructive criticism and help you correct your faults. The sessions are all inclusive, girls and boys alike.
C.Haven't been there for years but went to see a blues band last weekend. Not a great selection of beers but good service and cheap.

M. G.For a 50th birthday party. Reasonable, clean venue offering different size function rooms. Central wash rooms serving all function rooms. No real ale offered, only one smooth bitter.
C. M.Ok for a social club. Does smell a bit funny as you walk in then you realise that's coming from the toilet! The function room itself was ok just didn't have enough bar staff or glass collectors. One person doing both is not enough. Few air fresheners and would be much better. Change the yellow decoration and will be a 5⭐ socialaclub if there is such a thing.

A. M.Working mens club that really doesn't have any frills, but then again does any club of this type. Limited parking room available, reasonable service from the staff and drinks are reasonably priced.
