Nick is a really nice guy clearly very knowledgeable and experienced. My job was not straight forward so the bill was considerably more than the original quote but I think the price was fair as Nick made several repeat visits and fitted a new valve and pump to remedy the fault. In the end a chemical flush was needed. I found Nick to be very reliable and I would use Velvet plumbing and heating again.

Nick has done several plumbing and heating jobs for my mum over the years, and has always been tremendously reliable and able to come at very short notice in an emergency. Most recently, he was able to install a new boiler within 24 hours to enable us to get our property on the housing market despite us finding the boiler was dead and leaking the day before!! Very highly recommended. You won't do better locally.

Needed a gas hob fitting so contacted Velvet (Nick) by e.mail for a quote. Got back to me very quickly with a good price. Arranged a day/time and they arrived when they said they would. Did a good clean job quickly and in professional manner for the price he quoted. I would use again and recommend Velvet.
