Reviews of Fire Station Creative
B. S.
Great venue for many activities, a fantastic cocktail always made by Jose too!
I. P.
Great place for a morning breakfast or lunch. Staff are excellent and very friendly, really compliment the atmosphere here.
R.
Lovely evening listening to Carols by Candlelight, courtesy of the wonderful Robin Chapel Choir. Nice welcome from friendly staff - thank you!
S. B.
Great night of Christmas carols only down side was slow service at the bar. The guys worked very had but could have really done with a 3rd server.
S. R.
Little bit on the expensive side and the American Pancakes could have been bigger (you know, American Pancakes) for the £7.99 however that asside they were really good. Nice atmosphere and the staff are very friendly. Ordered a latte with my food and I was pleasantly surprised how nice the coffee was. A few pieces of art dotted about, looks like the where running low or between showings or something (let me know if you need some photos for the wall 😉). Will certainly for back for lunch again.
E. P.
Lovely ambience created by attentive young staff supported by a cheerful, friendly and professional manager.
S. M.
Jose is a fun character and his staff are lovely
Food is really nice fresh and worth it
Live music at the weekend
Local art always on show
N. F.
Great wee Cafe. Staff are very friendly prices are reasonable for the great quality of the food and coffee. Also a nice use of an old building.
A. N.
Good food, lovely place, reasonably priced.
L. M.
Lovely place and very unusual. Enjoyed the live music.
S. H.
Had drinks here on Saturday. It was kind of quiet but we like it. Expensive but worth it kind of place
M. M.
Always well looked after by Jose and his staff when we go there. Great live entertainment and an excellent atmosphere

Went to firestation creative yesterday. Didnt have lunch but there was open workshop day for the artists. Seen some great pictures for sale and interesting items.
P. K.
Great place to relax over a drink or a light meal. Friendly and attentive staff, good coffee, interesting artwork. What's not to like?
S. K.
Had a lovely experience at The Fire Station Creative earlier today, the staff are fab, very friendly, helpful and accommodating as my husband joined us after we had got there and been given a table already so they brought over an extra chair for us and it wasn't a hassle at all. The food was excellent and so was the coffee! They were really on top of cleaning the tables after people left and had lots of space between the tables as well. Highly recommended, we will be back!!
C. K.
Lovely place with a special mood and very kind staff.
C. M.
Nice place and food is ok but very slow service for lunch even though barely 1/3 full. Also they had run out of the only gluten free cake.
l. m.
Nice place staff friendly cake lovely.
Coffee is only one shot as standard for cappuccino really weak for me.
H. H.
Excellent friendly service. Cosy atmosphere. Varied and reasonably priced menu. Easy access for wheelchair users; no stairs.
M. M.
The exhibitions are aways brilliant and the venue ideal
R. F.
Great food, nice staff. Love the concept on the art but a little more could be used to display some information about it.

Had a brilliant morning at worn to wonderful workshop .

My friends and I visited the fire station bar on Saturday night for some cocktails and live music and it didn't disappoint. There was a huge selection of cocktails to choose from and the three I tried tasted amazing and are priced very reasonably at £6.50 each. It was a really nice change from anywhere else we've visited in Dunfermline and the surrounding area. I loved the ambience in the place: nice and spacious with artwork dotted about (given it's an art gallery during the day) and I was pleased to see a large log burning stove roaring away. I'll definitely be back.
The guy who was in singing and playing guitar was really good too.
The only thing that we were a bit disappointed with, was that there were no nibblies to have with our drinks, something which is kind of necessary if you're drinking quite a few cocktails I feel, but apart from that I couldn't fault the place. Another nice addition might be to include a few more comfy seating areas and certainly some seating around the log burner!

Went to see Willie Logan, he was very good. Also had the meat and cheese platter which was also very good.

This is a gorgeous little cafe and art gallery. They always seem to have new art on the walls, and it's always very high quality work. The food here is brilliant, definitely worth a try. I recommend trying their ham panini, with homemade chutney. The hot chocolate is always a favourite too, made by The Real Hot Chocolate Company. They also have an ever changing range of cakes, and if they have the rocky road or the chocolate courgette cake out they're definitely worth a bite.
They took an old disused fire station and turned it into something Dunfermline should be proud of. The staff here are lovely, and in my experience went above and beyond when I had lost my card there, let me in past closing to look for it and took my details for if they found it later. Excellent customer service combined with great food and brilliant artwork means this place is definitely worth a visit.
J. H.
Great coffee, exceptional cakes, very decent eggs Benedict, and the open studio days are fantastic.
Lovely airy space to enjoy a weekend morning surrounded by brilliant local art.
M. S.
Looked at some local photography on display while taking a welcome break, great photography particularly from Matthew Fearnley
K. M.
Stopped off for a drink on a Sunday afternoon as my friend and I were struggling to find a taxi due to an old firm game. Lovely warm welcome from staff and they took great trouble over calling a taxi for us before 4pm closing . A glass of prosecco was lovely with delicious strawberries !
N. W. F.
Excellent space for the creative arts and creative companies. Former fire station which still has some of the features like the pole, although, sadly, you can't use it lol.
l. l.
Sunday brunch highly recommended! Regulat interesting exhibitions. Friendly staff but service can be a wee big slow. Lovely choice of cakes and tray ales.
S. H.
Enjoyed a cosy glass of wine recently beside the log burning stove. Blissful! A real cosy urban nook with lots of cutting edge and contemporary art to enjoy or purchase. A definite up market drinking and eating establishment that is very pleasant, my only critique is that vegan options are not as available as vegetarian options. If establishment would look into adapting this and advertise on Happy Cow or similar then the vegan patrons would come flying out of the woodwork! :)
C. W.
Love this place and the singing waiter is the best 😅
E. S.
Great ambiance, surprisingly great live music.
J.
Lovely, cosy venue with a great atmosphere and the food is delicious. Service was a little slow but no other issues.

M. S.
Have been wanting to visit for a while and finally got round to having lunch here. Food was lovely and service was excellent, its an interesting environment having the art gallery and cafe as one and I'll definitely be back.
M. B.
Good food and surroundings. Live music on a regular basis. Usually acoustic so not super noisy. Service has always been great and it's reasonably priced
E. M.
It's a lovely place. Art is nice, little bit cold at times in the building. Wait for food is a bit long 30 minutes or so which is a shame place could do so well. Hope to see improvement.
N. G.
