The girl that served me, (sorry I don't know her name, but she had fabby coloured hair), was excellent, brilliant knowledge of wildlife ponds, really helpful and nice, amazing customer service. This was a welcome experience, because I have had some very rude, unhelpful experiences in store previously.

We were in several places before we lucked out at Dobbies.. We met this brilliant knowledgable funny and extremely helpful fella CALLED JAMES. he helped with tank stand gravel plants hints to setup how to best setup and didn't try to oversell us on stuff we didn't know about or really need.. We're going back for ourfishnext week.. He's gonna test our water for us. A free service I might add.. And then help us with our fish.. Most fun I've had spending money in a long time.. Will be telling everyone I know 😂 😂 thanks James. Enjoyed my day

Loved this place. There is so many exotic sea creatures. I enjoyed watching Shell crabs which I saw it for the first time. Worth the visit. My kids enjoyed it too.

It's great to bring my young son. He loves looking at all the fish/shrimp. They turn around their stock which is nice. One time, I was there though, there were 3 dead fish in 3 different tanks...

Really good place staff are so friendly, if you need a staff member to speak to i’d advise everyone apart from the guy with the ponytail, he seems to be very stand offish and tends to speak down at you if you ask any questions etc apart from that the fish seem to be kept healthy and the plants are lovely in there too!

Stock can be hit or miss for what I'm looking for, but always a good wide range, good staff, gives advice, but knows their limits. When speaking to one staff member they have often called over a different staff member who has better knowledge in that area. what lets them down, the small space, given the size of some of the other branches, this store deserves to be bigger.

Excellent service in this fishkeeper Dunfermline, we stocked and reasonably priced. Wide variety of tropical and marine livestock. Quite a few lovely aquariums for sale as well. The young girl who is manager there is very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Definitely recommend a visit

I went to Dunfermline Fishkeeper store this afternoon, the girl who works there is very friendly and helpful, and knowledgeable, she gives me a lot of advice about how to keep my fish healthy! And I bought 12 fishes when I left store! :) Oh, forgot to say I bought my fish tank in here too at 2 weeks ago!

Good range of fish with cold water, tropical and marine as well as shrimps, frogs and snails.Lots of accessories and plants and a good range of aquariums for all budgets. While the fish are well priced they lost a star as their plants and accessories are quite expensive in my opinion.

This is a fantastic shop, although it would serve the public better if they had more staff on at the weekend as it can get rather busy and it can be sometime before you get to speak to the shop keeper, the staff are very knowledgeable and friendly, lots of choice with a variety of fish and stock, ample parking and it's inside the Dobbies store so plenty to see, it's also based in a retail park so plenty shops, hotels and restaurants around
