Hi just visited the Lush Edinburgh and truly it’s amazing experience. Mrs.Asmae Was the staff who attended me during my visit and explain me a lot about the face masks according to my skin type seriously she’a so knowledgeable about the skin types and products according to clients. Best customer service ever. Also amazing products that actually work. The energy of the people that work there it's beautiful. Everyone is so helpful and actually listens to you. Julia was really helpful and was so lovely to meet her. This is my second review, apologies I can't seem to create another post: Really love the super milk and the Big shampoo it's so great for people with curly hair, and the smells are incredible. Went to your store today again, and met Mai, which she was so lovely and really helped me with what I was looking for!

Today myself and little girl were helped by Alice. Never have I came across such a lovely and helpful member of staff, I think in any shop. She interacted with my daughter and listened to what we both asked for. She recommended things that were exactly what I wanted. Lush are lucky to have her. The guy on the till was fantastic too, telling me all about the spa service and also speaking to my little girl as a customer and not just ignoring her, which happens in a lot of shops in general. Will definitely be back. 2 happy girls left the shop today. 😊

Absolutely fantastic experience. Staff are genuinely really nice. They gave me a free sample of some shower gel and asked me how my day was going. Very nice atmosphere and not too crowded either, which is very much appreciated. I also loved the fact that they don’t smother you with too many questions like “are you looking for anything in particular?” I’ve noticed that the staff in many Lush shops across the UK tend to be very insistent on this and, if you’re a bit more introverted, it can make you feel uncomfortable.

I'm a regular to the spa for the past 9 years. Ever since my first treatment I've always tried to save and treat myself every now and again - and it's definitely worth it. The Lush Spa is genuinely like no other! I've had almost every treatment on the list and never been disappointment. Every therapist I've had has been amazing, and I always feel relaxed and refreshed after being here. This is more than just a treatment, it's an experience (as cheesy as that sounds!). I would highly recommend Lush spa Edinburgh. Every time I receive a treatment elsewhere I always compare it to Lush. Honestly, you will not regret going here!

I booked this for my best friends birthday present. We both had an amazing time. The staff were great and super friendly from the moment we entered the shop. The skincare consultant was amazing and gave us a few samples to take home. We had such a good time we are going to book again at Christmas time for one of the longer treatments. I have been treated so we'll at the Lush store on Princes Street Edinburgh. I have been struggling to sleep for months and was allowed to try out The sleepy range last Friday with Esme who was both professional,, fun and very kind with me. I returned to buy the products on Saturday and was treated with patience and understanding by Joe. I returned to the shop for my Spell treatment with Miguel today and I found this treatment so relaxing that I will save up to come back soon. I chatted to Blue and Esme again and one other guy that I have forgotten his name. I feel like I was treated like a VIP guest and Esme was thrilled to hear that My Fitbit showed an excellent score for my sleep. I feel like I have made a friend for life who enjoyed chatting with me. I will definitely be recommending Lush products to all my friends and from now on if I get asked what I would like for my birthday or Christmas I will say a Lush voucher so I can experience the products as often as I can. I can now say that money doesn't buy your health but Lush products have certainly improved mine. Thanks everyone. The atmosphere in this shop is so much fun that I will be popping into Lush anytime I am in town just to say hello. What's not to love about Lush! But on this day Julia was absolutely amazing and even anticipated a lot of what we were looking for. Came into today with my mum to pick up a couple things but because of a couple allergies she was dubious about getting a different massage bar to the one she usually gets. The staff were so kind and helpful about finding out which ones would not make her an itchy mess especially Katy (as her name came up as on the till) who was so lovely and incredibly sweet. But all the staff are always So nice in here. I also had my eye on a couple bits and kept going back to them but then deciding I’d treat myself next time, only to find when I got home that she’d popped it in a an act of joy and honestly make such a nice day out so much sweeter. My mum left the shop with a simple “they were so kind in there” big love :)

I went for a fresh facial with with my mum and sister in law and we had the best experience! The staff are so lovely and very welcoming, they are so well informed on the products and tailor the facial to you specific skin type and concerns which is fab. The spa is under the store and considering how busy it was upstairs you couldn’t hear a thing in the spa, it feels so cosy and zen because they have music playing and you can get a tea or lemon water in the waiting area. The facial itself was unreal, my therapist was Rachel and the other therapist was Chris, they talk you through the process and even give you a sample of one of the products to take home! there’s music and a heated blanket so it’s very peaceful and comfortable. I will definitely be returning and I highly recommend others to book.

First time there, spa area is extremely comfortable and relaxing, therapist was excellent and the theme/music took massage to a new dimension. I’m accustomed to Thai massage so this felt light by comparison, but it was firm and overall immensely relaxing, probably more so than a massage elsewhere without the inventive and soothing soundtrack. I had "A Good Hour" massage in the Edinburgh Lush with Chris. I thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. The ambiance they have created with the country style cottage downnstairs is amazing. The massage is accompanied with sounds of the sea, bird cry and sea shanties music. You finish with tea and biscuits in the "cottage. The staff are very nice.

I went for the Tales of Bath Treatment at Edinburgh Lush Spa and it was just incredible. The soundtrack was wonderful and the poems/fairytales that went along with them were very soothing. Miguel is an amazing masseuse and provided and very relaxed and calm atmosphere which went along with a very soothing massage and bath. I honestly couldn’t recommend it enough.

I brought my toddler in to choose a bath-bomb for her Halloween-loving cousin's birthday. We were greeted and served by Kat who explained lots of the halloweeny products to us and showed us ones we might like. She then let my little girl try out a very sparkly bath bomb at one of the tester stations which was such fun and then got our hands all cleaned up with some more fun spooky products. We chose some ghosty bathbombs and at the till Kat had even written my little girl a Halloween postcard with a ghosty bathbomb for us to keep and use ourselves at home. The service was so outstanding and although I've always thought highly of Lush it was beyond my expectations. I'm so grateful that Kat not only helped us choose what we needed but provided such an exciting and welcoming experience for my toddler. Lush has always been incredibly overwhelming for me to be honest. A lot of colour, a lot of smells, too much choice, but I know the products are amazing so if I need something special I'll brave it. I was in lush princes street store on 29th July. I had recently fallen and fractured my elbow and the staff were incredibly helpful. I was debating whether to buy a tote bag but remarked I had an unexpected bill for new glasses due to my fall and an incredibly kind lady named Cheryl (apologies if spelt wrong) bought the bag for me. She paid it forward I was so taken aback by this act of kindness I was so grateful. I have been watching for an opportunity to pay this forward too. Decided to pop up to Edinburgh on the Thursday to see some of my friends in Scotland whilst on my holiday. Lush looked particularly inviting as everything seemed fully stocked and the place seemed cosy. Upon arrival a guy let me leave my lil suitcase behind the till while we shopped but the experience was really made by a staff member named Eddie. She could see my friend and I were a bit stuck at the variety of perfumes and quickly narrowed down my options to 3 due to my preferences and so Rose Jam was the obvious choice from there. Eddie seemed so calm, collected and knowledgable I thought for sure she was some sort of manager or supervisor and was honestly shocked to hear she’d only been there for a few weeks. She clearly loves her job and managed to convince me into getting a little rose jam box which paired perfectly with the perfume and when a queue formed for the till as the one till open had some sort of malfunction Eddie took the initiative to open a new till and sorted us out a lot quicker than the poor souls on the malfunctioning till lol. Will be recommending to my friends and relatives local to Scotland and can’t wait for my next holiday to Scotland!

Today I popped into Lush Edinburgh - my skin was in a bit of a stressed out state after a busy work period and a friend recommended I give lush products a go. The minute I walked in, Kayleigh greeted me with her warm and friendly smile and so kindly offered me a bespoke skincare session with her. She listened to all my concerns so closely, curated me a special paddle board with products which she especially chose for my skin, explained throughly to me, tested on my hand, told me all about the Ingredients and how to use etc. We spent about 30 mins going through everything and she was so professional, well informed and generous with her time throughout. She took note that I said I’d been having some reactions to harsh products and packed me up a few samples to try out on my skin before coming back to buy the full product. I went in never expecting to be helped by such a professional and lovely person such as Kayleigh - she’s a real asset to Lush Edinburgh!

I recently came to the Lush Spa in Edinburgh for a Renaissance and Fresh Facial treatment with Danielle. What can I say other than the experience was magical from start to finish. Danielle was so attentive and SUCH an expert at what she does - without giving too much away, the massage movements are in sync with music and it's obvious how much hard work and training that goes in to learning these treatments. Danielle is an asset to the Lush team. The treatments are unlike anything I've ever had in any other spa... It has to be experienced to be truly appreciated. Before I begin, I was gifted a massage by the mother-in-law and wasn't looking forward to it as generally I hate them. Upon getting to Lush I was instantly made to feel at ease and looked after. You're taken down the stairs and enter a completely different world. It's relaxed and peaceful. They take Covid restrictions seriously and ensure both you and they are safe. The experience was tailored to my needs and found the time flew by. Even to the point that I'd go back for another massage. Yes, me who hates them. Attentive store staff before massage with some free samples was a lovely start to the experience. Therapist was friendly and organised. Had the signature Synaesthesia experience which would have been much more relaxing except that I was cold. I should have said something at the time as it really wasn’t good. I checked the room thermostat afterwards and it was set to 20. I think given the weather outside was very cold and windy then more consideration could have been given to the ambient temperature of the room. Staying warm whilst laying still for over an hour is paramount to a relaxing experience. I think 25 would have been a better temperature for the room. Unfortunately the experience wasn’t great because of this. Happy to be given a warm cup of tea and a couple of products at the end. Wish I’d said something about the cold room but I think 20degrees isn’t warm enough especially in the winter. After leaving this review I was contacted by the spa and offered a free return visit. I had a further 90minute Synaesthesia spa experience. It was a warmer and a more relaxing experience because the massage table was heated. However, the ambient temperature in the room was still only set to 22 and it just didn’t feel warm enough. This time, I was prepared to be more assertive about the room temperature but the therapist never asked me once if I was warm enough!

She was very polite and very knowledgeable about the different ingredients. I felt like I had my own personal skin therapist. My mother and I came to the lush spa as a treat for when she visited me from NY. My treatment was at 10.15 and her's wasn't until 12.15. The staff were very nice and let me mom stay downstairs in the spa and let her read. I was worried when I entered the store as it was a loud, high street store. But, once you walked downstairs into the spa, you would have no idea that the high street was just above. I don't want to spoil too much (and I never thought you could spoil a spa treatment, but you can here). The store is one of the larger lush stores I have seen. There are a lot of products to choose from and the staff are very helpful. It is also very well lit and laid out. I highly recommend a visit to both the spa and the store.

In their previous shop at the other end of Princes Street, Lush was a cramped space overwhelmed with aromas. This is a breath of fresh, albeit still scented, air; the retail floor is vast and filled with treats and it's airy enough that you can distinguish the different products by scent. And the staff are all superbly friendly and knowledgeable. What's really impressive is the new spa downstairs. Once you're inside you'd never think you were under a busy shopping street, it's like a country cottage with all the trimmings. In there they provide a range of treatments to soothe the mind and body, all quite different to what you might find anywhere else.

It might seem strange to head into a busy Princes St shop to get a massage, but the Lush staff quickly whisk you downstairs to a peaceful spot and the crowds feel miles away. The spa is set up to look like the founder's kitchen (think Alice in wonderland-esque bottles dotted around on shelves) and you get lots of time to relax on (really lovely) sofas while you chat about your treatment. I think it's a wee bit pricey, but the whole experience is great, and you leave smelling amazing. I'll definitely be back!

The staff are super attentive - perhaps overly so, I get a bit annoyed at 3 members of staff asking me if i want help within 5 minutes... I also find the scents in the shop a bit overpowering so I'm don't usually stay long to browse. I was fortunate enough to receive a gift of a massage treatment at the spa for my birthday. It's a lovely calm, quiet space downstairs away from the shop and is a real experience, from your chats to the therapist, picking out the products you want them to use on you, and the post treatment chill out. The treatments have personality and stand out from other spa and salon services. I had the tailormade massage, complete with sea shanties playing in the background. A great gift for a special person!

Oof. What a damn good experience I had in the #LushSpa in #Edinburgh today. I had the #TalesofBath treatment and I have to say it was a perfect experience for a first time massage. You get to have a hot bath with an exclusive bath bomb which contains Epsom salts, and then a lovely deep tissue side lying massage with a hot oil infused with (orange blossom?), Cocoa Butter and Shea butter! They’re super accommodating for skin allergies and are very good for nervous first timers, I’d highly recommend requesting Kamil as your Therapist! The lovely lady I booked my appointment with as well as my therapist both gave me birthday presents as well which was a bonus! 🤩💖

Me and my boyfriend spent all day walking around Arthur's Seat and the castle so we popped into lush to find something for our feet. A lovely woman came over to help us by demonstrating the products etc. She said she would get us a sample of the foot lotion but when she came back she gave us the whole pot of foot lotion with a card saying an "Pass it forward". The card was about a random act of kindness and how it should be passed on.We were shocked and over the moon! I offered to pay but she wouldn't let me and said we deserved it. I'm so upset I didn't catch her name, this random act of kindness will always be remembered. Lovely and thoughtful staff at lush! Later that day I gave my change to a homeless man to keep the act of kindness going.

Part of me is loathe to give a smelly shop a positive review but I need to man up and admit Lush has earned it. The big win here are the staff; always friendly and helpful. They know the products well, don't faff when it gets busy and will rescue lost boyfriends who have ventured bravely in for a bit of gift shopping. This is a bigger space than Lush's first Princess Street venture. They use the extra size wisely by giving the shoppers more room. The layout works well and you can see all the wares along with matching ingredient lists. On the downside are the soap tourists. You wouldn't believe people would queue /block others just to look at soap they apparently have no intention of buying. It happens here.
