I would highly recommend Bearsden Chiropractic Clinic. I had a sore, stiff neck for years and I had tried various different treatments but nothing was working. I then went to see Mette and I am now able to move my neck more freely. What a difference... I wish I had gone earlier..I was very nervious about going to see a chiropractor but I am so glad I did. The reception staff are so lovely and welcoming. I also now go to see Sally for a massage. This is also really helping me. Ten stars.

I can't thank Bearsden Chiropractic Clinic and my Chiropractor Sheena. Since Easter this year I was unable to sit/lie for any significant period without back, hip and leg pain with shooting pains across the shin bone. I was dreading the family holiday (4.5 hour flight) but after 5 sessions with Sheena, the pain faded and I was able to enjoy the flights and have a very enjoyable holiday. I feel less tense with no pain and would thoroughly recommend this practice (or Chiropractor treatment) to anyone suffering from any kind of Musculoskeletal pain/discomfort.

Sarah is giving me hope back. I’m a single mum to a very active 3 year old, we were always out exploring and having fun until I hurt my back, 3 damaged discs L3,4 &5 one was prolapsed. Ive had to give up my car but the bit that makes me most sad is that I can’t be the mum I was, I can’t walk for even 5 minutes, or sit in a chair without feeling pain. Doctors have me on high dose medication everyday, I struggle to get to even speak to a doctor, they sent me to physio which was all over the telephone, nothing helping until I made the call to these wonderful people. You all made feel welcome, Sarah has been so gentle with me and explained everything and it’s only been my second visit so far but I’ve woke up this morning and I’m not in as much pain, I can see light now in this dark tunnel. Ive a bit to go until I can be the mum I know I am but I cannot wait for my other appointments and to see my little girl smiling when she sees mummys back getting better. You guys are changing not only my life but my families and everyone close to me. So I thank you and I will do another review. I can’t thank you enough.

An extremely pleasant experience overall. Was very apprehensive at first having never been to a chiropractor before. This was my first experience of any chiropractic treatment, and I was a little nervous. However, there was no need for my nerves. The service, from booking, to confirmation, initial consultation and subsequent treatments and advice/aftercare (with Sarah - who is fantastic), was absolutely first class. I now understand the cause of my problems (and how to mitigate against them happening again in the future). My back was constantly presenting me with pain, in getting on with every day chores and activities .Why I never thought of attending a chiropractor before, I do not know . Perhaps I was afraid of any more unnecessary pain inflicted on my already very sore, stiff back How wrong I was to avoid facing the issue. Fantastic service I do not believe I would not be at this stage in my recovery if had not been for Sheena. After 2 years of struggling with a calf injury a friend recommended this clinic as I had been attending a physiotherapist which wasn’t working for me as I still could not run due to the pain I was experiencing. My back was hurt simply by turning my body I don’t know how I did it. I attended this clinic as a result of injuring my lower back, and being a power lifter with an imminent competition this was a pretty big deal. After the initial consultation I was given various treatments and I was extremely impressed when it was demonstrated that my left side had a weakness that I wasn't even aware of and with a small adjustment on my neck the weakness was no more!! Three appointments later I was as good as new and ready to face the competition! I would certainly recommend this clinic, the team are friendly, welcoming and professional. The cost is reasonable for the level of expertise.

I'd been struggling with a back injury for around 3 months before booking an appointment here. My doctors only issued painkillers! My works physio gave me generic back exercises that only seemed to make things worst. On first appointment Mette assessed my back and diagnosed me with a herniated S1 disc she then manipulated my back and neck and massaged all my tight areas! I walked out that day feeling as light as a feather, within another 2 treatments my numbness in my leg and bum had subsided and my movement is a lot better. Mette is first class in her manner and her work! The advise she gives you is as valuable as the manipulations themselves! I'm now on the road to full recovery and I put it all down to Mette & Bearsden Chiro. Give them a call the receptionists are lovely and always got time for you.

Following the free spinal health and posture check, I started my regular sessions with Sheena Wotherspoon, who has been absolutely fantastic. I was very nervous and Sheena was incredibly patient with me, explaining everything that she was doing and why, always checking that I was comfortable and encouraging me to ask any questions I had. I have several more sessions planned to help with various issues relating to my neck, lower back, lumbar and achilles! Quite a list, but that's what happens when I should've went 20 yrs ago when first experiencing discomfort. As a distance runner with poor flexibility, I can't remember the last time I had a day that was pain free, but after two sessions I'm already feeling the benefits. When my scheduled sessions reach their conclusion, I'll be ensuring I return on a regular basis for a check up and a little tinkering! I'm now a customer for life and I would highly recommend the clinic. I have about an 80 minute round trip for my appointments but in all honesty I'd travel to the clinic from much further afield if I had to. I should also add that the receptionists are very welcoming, and that there are free parking options within a thirty second walk, not too mention nearby options for a pre or post-appointment tea or coffee if you're feeling a little tender!

I went to Bearsden after hurting my back while on holiday. I went for the free consultation and my practitioner was Daniel -he was absolutely wonderful! I was not a good candidate at that time to remain as a patient bc of time restraints. However, I strongly recommend this place for your chiropractic needs. The fact that they offer a free consultation demonstrates their commitment to patient needs. As a medical professional myself, I was so very impressed from walking into reception, to meeting Daniel, and leaving. This place is solid and I'm damn sad they are not located in Michigan!

As someone who spends lengths of time sitting on planes or at a desk combined with carrying laptops over my shoulder and lugging suitcases around I had put up with back pain, neck pain and headaches for a long time. Corrective treatment at Bearsden Chiropractic made me pain free and put a bounce in my step once again. Bearsden Chiropractic has had a profound impact on my quality of life and has rescued me from a life of pain. I was diagnosed with Occipital Neuralgia in 2011 and struggled with it until I visited the practice. Occipital Neuralgia is a very intense pain that feels like a sharp, jabbing, electric shock in the back of the head and neck and also caused the right side of my head to be completely numb regularly. In order to find a cure I tried several things including a nerve block injection, acupuncture, physiotherapy and as things deteriorated prescription drugs. After the nerve block injection never worked I was told I'd need to take prescription drugs for the rest of my life which is why I tried some of the alternative therapies mentioned but nothing worked. Having finally accepted I would need to try the prescription drugs, I found that they had side effects and did not take away the pain. The drugs impacted on my ability to perform at work and I constantly felt lethargic and unwell. It was by luck that I was speaking with a friend who recommended Bearsden Chiropractic and in-particular Dr Mette Stopa who is a Chiropractic Neurologist. After an in-depth consultation she was able to identify the problem and confidently predict she could help. It's now been 3 months since I started treatment and I now have very little issues with the problem that once dominated me. I'm now in a situation whereby I need to go once a month and can go for weeks without any pain whatsoever. It's a remarkable turnaround and has made me feel normal again and i've been able to accept a promotion at work, i couldn't have done this had i still been on the prescriptions drugs. My home life and general wellbeing is also vastly improved. All the staff are friendly and it's a very welcoming environment.

What can I say about this place? Other than you need them in your life... All too often in the UK we take the wrong approach to healthcare, providing drugs and medicines, when a little bit of prevention goes a really long way. I suffered with a bad back for almost a decade, and within a fortnight of sessions I have seen the pain disappear. I now return for correction after long periods of work away travelling. Often the clinic are able to deal with my communications from far flung lands, and always pencil me in for treatment without issue. It's nice to go somewhere everybody feels positive and helpful all the time. I truly believe it makes a difference to the overall experience of providing preventative healthcare. More places like this should be used by the NHS for those who can't afford it, and the private sector should not hesitate to go here. Albeit their costs are half if not less than what I would pay locally, I would gladly pay double because it makes such a difference. Mette is absolutely bang on knowing her stuff. If you don't have your health (in life) you don't have much as they say and I truly believe in this adage... The most fun I've had with some of my clothes off in Bearsden :)

Have being seeing both jenny and chirene for a few months now,for a long standing back problem which I exacerbated doing deadlifts in the gym.have seen lots of different "specialists" through the years and tbh they haven't done any more than what natural healing would have done in my opinion.what I like especially is that they see the problem through to the end,see it as a challenge and don't give up.they listen receptively to your feedback, take it on board and decide the best course of action they then explain what they are doing and why.seen one chiropractor before and wasn't impressed, but a friend put me in to the clinic and thank god I listened.jenny is very professional and I can highly recommend.
