We recently had Robb over mounting our TV and sideboard for us. Incredibly happy with the job. Responded quickly and job done within a few days. He couldn’t have been more helpful. Would happily recommend Robb to anyone!!

Used Robb now a few times over the years for various new TV / Sound installs .. And decided to call on his services for my new Home Install . Brilliant from start to finish. He really knows his stuff and a pleasure to deal with… He was very flexible and accommodating when it came to the times he could attend. Onto the actual fitting, it’s done to the highest standard all cables neatly hidden , wall mounted each tv perfectly ( including Samsung 85inch in main room , Philips 65 inch in sunroom and Philips 55 inch in office game room ) and Sonos Beam / Arc underneath wall mounted as well .. all installed to a high standard, and cable management terminated in media wall mounted units he also fitted … where I then have Virgin TV boxes etc . Any extra cables etc required he has them all . Its been just over a year since the install was complete and had zero issues. All I can say is that Robb does a stellar job, very professional, competitive pricing and a good sense of humour. Bottom line if need an install or help with audio / TV / Media setups / install options give Robb a shout you won’t regret it !

We recently asked Robb to remove our old TV and install our 65inch TV, and move existing sockets. Upon enquiry, Robb came to visit our home and give advice how best to handle the job. He was very professional and very knowledgeable. A few days later, job was complete and on time (despite the dog trying to get under his feet and grab some attention) and we were incredibly happy with the end result. Robb fitted a 65" Sony TV in our living room and a 40" TV in our bedroom. Robb came out for a consultation and had some great ideas about setting things up stuff that we had not really thought about. Robb really is very knowledgeable and really knows what is best going to work for you. He is a perfectionist and really has an eye for the detail. Not only did Robb install the TV's but he sat with us and went through the functionality. I would recommend Robb to family and friends without hesitation. We asked Robb to wall mount a 65 inch curved tv. The job is exceptional, mounted brilliantly with all wires hidden behind wall and excellent job plastering so wouldn't even know he'd worked there. Robb was friendly and explained the process throughout. Despite some challenges( mainly due to me losing the mount screws ) Robb had solutions and took his time time ensuring a pristine finish regardless of it taking longer than he expected he never rushed, treating the work like it was his own room. Robb was recommended by a tech-savy friend and didn’t disappoint. I wanted my TV wall-mounted onto an extendable arm with the cabling tidily fed through the wall. The arm can also now be extended without any cables snagging and more importantly: it’s super sturdy! The job’s just been finished and looks precisely what I was hoping for👍😃. To me, this seemed like a complicated job but Robb made short work of it and even made some suggestions about how to optimise my equipment that I had overlooked, even moving a socket from one wall to another in order to keep my entertainment centre organised. Any questions and concerns were addressed before any work was carried out and Robb takes such great pride in every aspect of his work. I’d highly recommend him to anybody wishing to make the most of their home entertainment setup.

Robb did a fantastic job for my Dad. He fitted a curved tv onto a solid brick fireplace wall, drilling through to hide the cables so there was no need for trunking. Great service, excellent quality of work and a really nice guy. Highly recommended.

Robb fitted an awesome cantilever bracket in my living room yesterday and it looks fantastic and has freed up so much space. Robb came out for a consultation and recommended the best way to go and it looks amazing. On the day he was very conscious of his surroundins and made sure all the dust was cleared away. Absolutely delighted with the suggestions and following work done by Instar (Robb) to my office. The new TV was wall mounted, cables hidden behind wall, HDMI and Cat6 ports set into wall, an AV cabinet built and PC graphics card upgraded. The result was more slick than I'd even imagined and is a vast improvement to what was there before. I'm pleased to say I'm calling on Robb's services again to fit a surround system into my town flat. Cannot recommend this chap highly enough, his work is a different class.

This is the company you want if your business premises needs bringing into the 21st Century. We got Robb from Instar Installations to install Apple TV, DVD player and conversion kits in GT Hair, in order to run Video to our salon TVs and audio to our speakers. All controllable from the iPad and our phones, absolutely marvellous!!!Thanks to Robb we have a super slick system now and myself and my staff are over the moon. The television, Sky and house phone wiring in my kitchen was a fire waiting to happen and a terrible eyesore. Robb cleared it all behind the walls and neatly plastered over the holes. He repositioned the television and fitted a modern shelf to mount the Sky Box. What a difference! I would thoroughly recommend Instar Installations.

Phoned Robb on a recommendation after I thought I could do the job myself, what a task it turned out to be as I didn’t have the proper brackets/wires etc to hang. I also had various wires hanging out of the wall which I didn’t know what they were for. Robb came out the next day at 8am to survey the job and see what materials would be needed. He stayed for 3 hours but had to leave to go and source more materials. Returned 2 hrs later and stayed until the job was complete. Because the Sky Box was in a hidden position, a sensor was needed to pick up the signal from the sky remote. Robb returned the next day and fitted it at no extra charge. What a star! Highly recommended.

Couldent recommend rob enough great guy to talk to, he come out on time, prep work was great the job was done to the highest of standered couldent have got someone better to do the job! He knows what he is doing listened to what we were looking to get done and then gave us his advice and together come up with the perfect position for my large tv, floating shelf and sound bar to go on the wall and it looks great, he put all wires inside a brick wall and covered up, you wouldent even know that there is wires in the wall. And to show how nice a guy he was he also put up a large mirror and a large mirrored picture on what I can only describe as the most solid wall I have ever come across! Free of charge his prices are the best out there by far, and after job complete he cleared up every bit of rubble and rubbish and you wouldent even know that he just cut a slot in the toughest wall ever to run cables inside. I called with the intention of asking for a visit to solve a small problem that I simply couldn’t fix. After describing the issue, it was suggested a simple pairing of the handset with the Virgin Box could solve the problem. It did indeed solve the problem. So, if you have a serious issue or want someone who does that type of kind help, this is the company to use. Old fashioned gentleman. Very impressed!
