I discovered Alice's Prenatal Yoga classes about half way through my prgenancy and I'm so happy I did! I was looking for a teacher who had experience in Hypnobirthing techniques as well as Yoga and I was not disappointed. As we were in the middle of the Covid-19 pandemic Alice taught all her classes via video link and Monday nights became my refuge from the rest of the week. The classes are well structured with a good chance to blether and ask questions. The yoga moves she guides us through are releasing and deep (even in pregnancy I am getting into amazing stretches) and we are guided to use breathing techniques that are beneficial for labour (and beyond). Then with an amazing guided relaxation the end it really is the perfect way to tune into your body, mind and connect with your baby. I am on my third block with Alice and at almost 40 weeks I am still moving so well! Thank you Alice :) and I look forward to joining you for post-natal and baby yoga classes!

I attended Alice's pregnancy classes from early in my pregnancy until mid-way through my third trimester. It's undoubtedly the best thing I did during my pregnancy! As I progressed through my pregnancy, I looked forward to each class more and more, and I appreciated having this precious time to connect with my baby, relax and unwind. It's a wonderful way to meet other soon-to-be mothers and the classes are not only relaxing, but also uplifting and empowering. The breathing techniques and positions for labour were invaluable; I felt so much more positive, confident and prepared for labour. I cannot recommend Alice's pregnancy classes enough!

Pregnancy yoga with Alice is essential for any nervous Mum to be! Not only was it lovely to meet other local pregnant ladies, but the class was a great chance to relax and prepare for birth. As someone who thought hypnobirthing was a bit too "hippie" for me the class gave me all the tools I needed to have the calm and relaxed birth I had hoped for! Now I get to continue my yoga practice with weekly Mum and Baby classes which includes baby massage - the little ones love it!

I cannot recommend Alice’s Pregnancy Yoga enough. Including antenatal classes, books and google, it was definitely the thing that helped most in getting me the perfect birth that I longed for. The breathing and relaxation techniques that I adopted in labour meant I was able to have a completely natural birth with no pain relief at all, for a 9lbs10oz baby! Aside from the invaluable advice, classes are also so relaxing and are some much needed time to chill that I looked forward to each week. Thanks Alice!

I attended Alice's yoga classes whilst pregnant with my son and found that I looked forward to each class more and more as my pregnancy progressed. The movements and breaths that we learnt combined with the relaxation techniques were invaluable throughout my pregnancy and labour. I would recommend Alice's yoga classes to any pregnant lady who is looking for a little bit of time for herself during pregnancy as Alice is a caring and supportive teacher as well as being very knowledgeable and helpful. Alice can tailor the practice to your needs during pregnancy regardless of your experience -some people in the class had practiced yoga for years whereas others were complete beginners and so I would recommend coming along to a class even if you have never done yoga before. I enjoyed the ante natal classes so much that Alice is helping me to regain some strength postnatally with private sessions at my home which I am finding so grounding and helpful during this busy time!

This birth workshop is perfect for apprehensive (Of course non-apprehensive dads will love it too!) dads to be. I had my own worries and concerns and my wife was also anxious about the delivery of our first baby. This class was extremely helpful and made the whole labour experience a much more positive and calm journey. Alice describes the situations you will find yourselves in at each stage of the labour and provides breathing techniques, position ideas and tips on how to get through each phase in a way that suits you both. As the dad, prior to this workshop, I felt that I could not contribute that much to assist my wife, just the ”being there” was my role completed. I couldn’t of been anymore incorrect. Alice ensures that the partners are included and made to feel productive and supportive throughout each phase of labour. The importance of breathing with your partner, timing or counting contractions, knowing if you should touch or support your partner or whether to leave them alone!
The workshop taught me about noticing signs of progress, when to ask for help and how to ensure my wife had a positive experience of labour by ensuring midwives knew what my wife would like and not like during labour. I definitely felt more involved, more prepared and more confident in the run up to the due date and this course undoubtedly made me not panic on the day.
I also feel that the labour experience was helped from my wife attending Alices pregnancy yoga classes routinely throughout labour. From speaking to others that have attended and those that have not, it is clear in my mind that Alices Pregnancy yoga and Birth workshop made our labour experience positive and memorable for the right reasons - we may even chose to go through it all again!

Alice's Birthing Workshop was so helpful - all women and their birthing partners should do this workshop! I feel so much better prepared than I did for my first labour and equipped with more practical tools than other classes, such as NCT, had provided to make this a more positive experience. I highly recommend it!

I absolutely love this class! I attended this workshop in my first pregnancy and have joined it again now in my second pregnancy and find it so beneficial! It really helps me connect with my body and baby. The postures help me strengthen areas I need to and reduce tension in my body. Also the breathing and mindset techniques are fantastic for helping me reduce anxiety about labour. I have attended other birthing classes and definitely find this one the most beneficial. Highly recommend!

I joined Alice’s pregnancy yoga class when I was about mid way through my pregnancy and I can say that it was one of the best things I did in preparing for the birth of my son! I learnt so many fantastic breathing techniques that were gold to me. We also learnt lots of great positions for birthing and dealing with contractions. The class really made me feel in control of my body and confident in what I was doing, something I feel really proud of. I can’t thank Alice enough, she’s amazing at what she does and really makes you feel relaxed and empowered.
I’ve since joined her post natal class with my baby and it’s hands down my favourite class I’ve done with my little one - and admittedly the highlight of my week!! I’ve met lots of mums in the same position as me, bonding over yoga and mummyhood. I totally love it. I’ve just signed up to a second block I love it so much!!

This course is an essential for mums to be! I have just welcomed my second baby into the world and my labour was completely different this time around, an amazing experience. The knowledge, postures and breathing techniques i learned helped me labour with no pain relief needed, remaining calm and in control throughout which I don't know if I could have achieved that without the knowledge I gained! I started with one block and ended up doing it until my due date and so glad that I did!!! ❤
