Ross has carried out several jobs for me over the last year or so and I can honestly say that he is a true professional. There were several tricky issues with my plumbing and radiator installation which he overcame with no problem. Meticulous in his approach to to his work and totally reliable.

He fitted four cast iron radiators which had to be installed in two stages, the work was completed as planned with no delays or mishaps. I have used RL Plumbing and Heating for servicing, safety checks and repairing in my buy to let property's boilers for the past 5 years. They have also recently replaced a broken boiler in our own house. I cannot recommend Ross highly enough as he provides an excellent service each and every time. RL Plumbing & Heating This business was recommended to us by someone who had two jobs done by Ross. Ross visited our house, and then sent a detailed quote, including explanation for his choice of boiler. He did the work on the agreed dates in November 2020 and in line with the estimate. During the work, he laid ground sheets, wore boot covers and explained what he was doing, and was clean and tidy throughout. The cleaned radiators and new boiler are working efficiently so far. Based upon our experience, we are very happy to recommend Ross.

We got in touch with Ross on the recommendation of a family friend to install a new bathroom. We are absolutely delighted with his work, the bathroom looks fantastic. Ross, and the team he worked with to do the plastering and tiling, were all brilliant - they left our home immaculately tidy at the end of each day and were back punctually every morning to start work again. We were so impressed by Ross's attention to detail, and could clearly see that doing an excellent job is very important to him. We'd have no hesitation asking him to do work for us again. I live in Knightswood and needed help with my boiler, I'd bled my radiators but the pressure wouldn't go down. I phoned and Ross picked up right away and was at my house that afternoon. He was professional, up front about fees and fixed the boiler with advice on what to do if issues continue. A clear invoice was provided 2 days later, no overcharging. After a recommendation from friends, Ross fitted a new Ideal Vogue boiler and additional radiator for me Jan 2020 - great job - he is extremely tidy, keeps you well informed, is friendly and tries to ensure you get the result you want. Ross is very professional from start to finish. He gave us a competitive quote by email which was broken down so that we could understand how much each separate thing was costing. When we confirmed that we wanted to go ahead he gave us a date for installation and contacted us a few days before to let us know what time he would arrive. He covered the floors before starting work and was really respectful of our home the entire time he was here. His work is very tidy and he explained things along the way. The entire job was stress free for us and we are delighted with our new boiler and the difference it has made to our heating. I would definitely recommend Ross and will be using him again to service the boiler and if we need any plumbing work done.

Ross has undertaken various works at my house - replace/install WC & cistern, annual maintenance of combi-boiler & gas fire plus an emergency repair to the combi-boiler. He is a very tidy worker, ensuring working areas get covered where tools are laid out & leaves the place clean. I’m particularly impressed by the way he doesn’t cut corners, explains & shows what the plumbing problems are, and advises on all options to repair or replace. He turns up when he says he will and charges very reasonable rates. I have recommended Ross to many of my friends and will continue to do so.

When reviewing a business I’ve always considered ▪ Quality of the work done ▪ Clean-up ▪ Value for money ▪ How efficiently the work is done ▪ How well the business owner communicates ▪ The “public face” of the business RL Plumbing and Heating scores 5 stars on all of these points. I’ve used this business on three occasions and every time the work has been well done and neatly done, with no mess left. The prices are very reasonable and where there has been more than one possible solution to a problem, this has been clearly discussed with me beforehand with the positive and negative points all made clear. The owner of the business, Ross, has good people skills and tells you when he will arrive and if there is an unforeseen delay, he will call you or message you to let you know. He responds very well to urgent calls as I found out when my mother in law had a tap which would not shut off. My mother-in-law is 86 and lives alone and is normally apprehensive about tradesmen, Ross is always very considerate and courteous so she has no qualms about him coming to the house.
