Loved running an event at this hotel. The staff are brilliant! Friendly, enthusiastic and genuinely keen to help but not intrusive, which suited us perfectly. We had beautiful mocktails brought down to our event space as requested and at the right time. It was handy having the coffee machine (just ask the staff for a demo if you’re not sure how to use it as it took us a few mins to get the hang of it). We didn’t order food for the event but I stayed in the hotel and the food was delicious. Rooms have the comfiest beds on earth. Inspiring, vibrant, creative venue. Great spaces for either small or larger groups. Also, as a side-note, the toilets next to our event space were absolutely spotless. We’ll definitely be back.Thank you x

Unfortunately not the best visit this time. Room wasn't set up for arrival. Had to ask for juices, milk. There was no cheese with breakfast as advertised. No one visited all day to take away empty cups and we ran out of mugs. Lunch was disappointing as not enough for everyone to have at least 1 sandwich each and again not the same as last time when we got soup too. Had to ask them to take it back to kitchen to cut up into more pieces so everyone could have one. Not sure we will be back again unfortunately. Not the same quality or service as it used to be. :-(

I have booked these amazing meeting rooms several times for my boss and colleagues and it is THE BEST. We love this place. The food, as you can see, is amazing and plentiful and the staff are just first class. Big special thank you to Weini and Ewa for going above and beyond. We will definately be back. The rooms are really nice, and lend themselves really well to the filmmaking workshops we run. The staff are always very pleasant and the kids really enjoyed being there for the day. Deneece and Mia were very conscientious hosts. We had some payment issues at the start of the day which became quite stressful as we were trying to run our workshop (it wasn't our fault and we had actually already paid!) so that started off the day a little more stressful than we had hoped or planned. The lunch is also very expensive for what you get, but the food is nice and again the group enjoyed themselves.

I really cannot fault CitizenM hotels in their delivery of creative meetings spaces. We felt really comfortable, the room was large enough for safe distancing and equipped with hi tech equipment that met all our needs. The banqueting service was just right, in fact, everything was just right and I would book again without hesitation

As a venue Citizen M in Glasgow is the perfect location for meetings. Pricing packages make it really, really easy to select what we needed. Rooms are very nice and one wh0ole wall being a chalk board and another whole wall being a dry wipe board was so useful. Best planning session we have ever had. There was a wee hiccup with our booking, it hadn't made it through to the hotel but the payment had been taken. This meant we were an hour or so later getting started. The team in the hotel handled it beautifully though. Sean in the morning and the guy at the end of the day could not have been better. Perfect balance of friendly but still professional. I just might be tracking them down to recruit them for my own business!

I've used the work spaces at CitizenM in Glasgow for years and this was my first meeting back there since the Covid crisis hit. The staff were as welcoming and helpful as ever, the meeting rooms are fun, efficient and safe with plenty of hand sanitiser available and social distancing possible. The menu is limited, I would prefer sandwich and salad options to bar snacks and hot food but there are plenty of places to grab lunch nearby if you need to. I can't recommend CitizenM highly enough - whether you're meeting in small numbers, a larger group or just looking for a change of scene during your work day.

I have used the SocietyM meeting rooms on a number of occasions for my Training sessions. We always use the larger room and I must say it is the BEST. Everything from the staff, to the lunch, to the drinks trolley and general environment for break out sessions is just perfect. A very modern environment which feels like a real treat for everyone attending. Lunch is always delicious and fresh and no one every complains and the drinks trolley is so quirky and fun! The IT equipment and pencils and paper finish off the room to a very high standard. I also stay in the bedrooms prior to my meetings and find the large beds with the mood lighting so comfy and having the tablet controlling everything again just adds a modern and fun touch. I highly recommend this hotel for business, for pleasure or even for a drink or bit to ear in their restaurant and bar which I have enjoyed on many occasions.

Booked this for a board meeting for my boss and nine others as they wanted something a bit different from the normal board room and boy it was - fabulous was how my boss described it. Breakfast, lunch (from the best sandwich from in Scotland), afternoon tea/mega piece of cake and beers after - what more could you want. This place is THE best and we will be back. Staff are first class and bit shout-out to Rita for helping me with the booking when I wasn't sure what I was doing. Keep up the good work all at CitizenM.

I recently booked the large meeting room at Citizen M Glasgow for a seminar that was organised by my work. The hotel is fantastic, really quirky and different, with a fantastic meeting room that helped to create a relaxed and creative atmosphere. The food and drinks provided were great and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back!

Fantastic facilities - exactly what we were looking for. Staff were super-helpful and professional. Food and drink perfect - breakfast pastries/bacon muffins, light lunch, and afternoon cakes delicious and just right to keep us going but concentrate on the task in hand. Plenty of tea/coffee/water/soft drinks. The boss loved the funky decor and white and black board walls, good AV set up. Plenty of space upstairs with comfy sofas to chill out by the bar with a team drink after our day's brainstorming. We will be back again. Thanks.

Hello CitizenM Glasgow! This week I stayed in a citizen hotel for the first time and was absolutely blown away by the hotel, your team and your service! I stayed for one night and held an all-day meeting in room 4 and have to say that your team could not do enough to help. The hotel room was one of the simplest but comfiest I’ve stayed in and I’ve stayed in many during my time travelling the world for work. Usually I find myself wondering ‘why did they put that there or why haven’t they thought of that’ but I never really had those thoughts during this stay  In fact I wanted to stay longer which is highly unusual ! I love the laid back, chilled vibe and the informal nature of the canteen / bar / living room almost felt like home from home. I was gutted to miss out on the hot food, especially the curry which I understand is extremely delicious (one for my next stay I hope!) Your Society team got me set up (Despite a few audio issues quickly ironed out) and raring to go for my meeting and were most helpful. The team I was training were also impressed with the venue and said they thought it was the best venue they’d had out of the three we’d tried before you in the past 12 months so we’ll definitely be back! But my biggest thank you goes to the team for swiftly locating my laptop and charger which I very dumbly left behind in the meeting room! I blame it on you for being so chilled from the citizen vibe that I didn’t notice it missing until I reached for it to be scanned through security at the airport for my onward journey! Between you and Glasgow airport taxis you reunited me with my equipment with minutes to spare before boarding my flight! THANK YOU!!! I’ll be back in October and have already booked a stay in London for my hubby’s birthday as he wants to experience it for himself after I came home raving about it Great Job! Keep up the good work!

Brilliant day at SocietyM Glasgow. Staff were super helpful (even when I was having massive technical issues) and the catering was spot on. The rooms are quirky which I love but the screen was a bit small for my needs in the way the room was set up.

The meeting experience was ok, I'd give it 3.5 if I could. The hotel is lovely, no question of that. But I certainly wasn't blown away by the meeting service if I'm honest. The room was nice, the in room facilities were okay, though we had to go ask for a flipchart, despite being told at booking we'd have a white wall to write on. Breakfast rolls weren't particularly warm. We had to chase down water on several occasions. They set lunch up in another area of the hotel, didn't tell us and we were waiting for half an hour before I approached someone to ask where it was. The person I spoke to was adamant I had asked for it in the lounge area, and insisted 'we were wondering where you were' and 'you requested it be set up upstairs' only after I disputed this fact a few times did he check and realise I had not asked for it to be set up elsewhere. We went to the food rather than wait any longer and the eating area was awkward and uncomfortable. I dont enjoy eating my lunch balanced on my knee, in a chair I have to perch on. All in all it was quite an amateurish set up. It looked great, but failed to deliver and it's highly unlikely I'll arrange a meeting there again. There are plenty of other hotels where I've had better service.

I have used the Society M meeting rooms for some time now and never tire of the fantastic environment that they offer, it's always a pleasurable experience. From the unique environment, to great service, the friendly team, the quirky and unique touches and great catering, this facility really does stand head and shoulders above anything else I have used, give it a whirl!

Our company, Social Care Ideas Factory is all about 'Ideas that Change Lives', hence the reason we love the stimulation we are guaranteed at Society M. The rooms we hire for meetings and events reflect the ideals, culture and work ethic we value and live. With floor to ceiling inspirational books and collectibles, the spaces always help us to stretch our thinking, take more risks and be more ambitious.We love the fact we are 'allowed' to write on the walls too! With a full blackboard making up one wall and a white board the other, we are encouraged to doodle,mind-map and graphic until the cows come home, in chalk and colour pens. The only thing missing with the coffee machine is George Clooney and a souki tea box selection refreshes every-time. Check out the miniature glass milk bottles complete in wire carrier, with Alice in Wonderland label. All these unique touches add to our meetings and help bring out our playfulness, sparking our imaginations. However, SocietyM's best resource has to be its staff. Always helpful, intuitive, human and good fun! Rare qualities in today's corporate rat race. Go SocietyM !
