Staff are always very friendly and informative. If you have a query they will find out and resolve it. I have been called several times in the first week of my car purchase to check if everything was ok, to make sure I understood the agreement, change payment date if needed to, and that I didn't feel pressure into buying the car, etc. Staff are very helpful, polite and courteous and have gone above and beyond in my experience.

The process with the dealership "Hippo" was really good. Found me a car, sorted everything out over the phone. I then get a call from Startline before i have even received the car asking to leave them a review despite there not being anything to review them for as it was all done through Hippo, who have received a glowing review. I will update this review in a few months if there are any issues but begging for reviews despite never speaking to me previously isn't a good look.

I've just bought my car on a PCP deal. The majority of my interaction has been through the dealership who told me I'd be going with Startline. Everything went to plan and I now have my car. Today I received a courtesy call from Startline and we managed to change my payment date to suit my pay day better. The only issues I have, which to be fair, are not issues with Startline are my start date and consequently my new payment date. My start date was the 6th, I didn't have my vehicle delivered until the 9th, thats down to the dealership. I would have expected the start date to be the date the vehicle was transferred to me. And the dealership also told me that my 1st payment would me at least a month from my start date, which with my change of date would have been february. Neither of these things are the fault of Startline, but it might be worth a chat with the dealerships who are giving out incorrect information.

Startline are fab. Highly recommend them. Had no issues with them. Found the car i wanted. Absolutely love it. Didn't take long for them to get off the mark and get everything sorted. Its not startline you have to worry about its dealing with the dealerships themselves with arranging to go pick up the car. Very reliable and they are all very friendly on the other end of the phone and willing to communicate via email and via text.

I've had the Car Finance for about 4 years now, and I am satisfied with the service I have received it was hassle free. A year back I registered for the account and it was easy to register it with the agreement number and my details. The account was created and then a few months back I wanted to change the direct debit details, and again that was easy to do just logged on the site and requested the change and it was done in a day or two. I would recommend to anyone.

We purchased a car at the start of 2020 from Arnold Clark (we picked the vehicle ourselves) but 6 months later found the car wasn’t fit for purpose and was burning oil. We initially contacted Startline on the defensive after reading the other reviews on here but in terms of supporting our rejection we found them nothing but helpful. Arnold Clark wished to settle the finance without returning any money paid to us but Startline stood firm in support of us and told them no. They supported us in the cost of the Independent Inspection and helping us arrange this. Ours was relatively straight forward with it failing an MOT in December 2019 on the same issues. The only thing I would say is a negative is the communication from the complaints team wasn’t always the best, but given we are in a pandemic they will also be affected and likely working from home etc so it is understandable. Do your research so you know your rights before contacting the finance company because if the dealer is Arnold Clark they will be as awkward as they can.

The only bad thing is they tried to offer me another service that cost more money when i don't need it because i'm already on a fully comp insurance policy. But apart from that i've had no issues at all and all payments have gone smoothly. Well i got this company through carfinance 247 and after reading the reviews was extremely nervous about dealing with them, however i am really not sure what people are complaining about... the interest rates are not high at all especially if you have bad credit, they are quite good rates compared to most. All my documents came through within a week and when my pay day was changed at work i called up expecting the worst customer service i had ever experienced (going on all these reviews) but what i got was a lady that was really helpful, changed my direct debit date there and then on the phone and my problem was solved within a few minutes. All i can guess is that people complaining had unreasonable or unrealistic requests upon calling or went in all guns blazing which is never going to get a good reaction even if they are the best customer service agent going. Anyway i would definitely recommend.

Startline (particularly Alan in the complaints team) have been fabulous at dealing with me and my complaint. I found a car through Autotrader, and finance sourced through Startline by Zuto. Unfortunately the car had many issues. Startline got the car independently assessed and supported me in rejecting the vehicle. Alan was always very courteous and great at keeping in contact with me - unfortunately the same cannot be said for Zuto.... but that is a different review altogether! I have had to arrange finance for my new car elsewhere as the dealer I purchased from does not deal with Startline - but i have no hesitation recommending them to others. Considering it has resulted in them having to give me a full refund and removal from my credit history it has not impacted the service i received in any way, very professional and helpful!!!

Had no trouble with this company so far had a letter yesterday stating dvla had said I had sold the car and in seven days if full payment not made they are reporting as theft and can repossess car I have had for last 3 years I have just transfered log book into sons name as he is not in a financial situation at present to get a new car so he has taxed and insured mine for himself I am still keeping payments up on car also it is registered at same address I have quite year to pay thought I was helping son out for a while just emailed paperwork back and a letter just waiting for response now also Francis who I spoke to yesterday was very nice he seems to think there should no be a problem with this at all as it is still my address otherwise not a bad company at all up to yet
