Very impressive, well located and historical venue in centre of Glasgow. For weddings, anniversaries and a lot more. What also can you wish for your big day as a venue? I love it 💓💗❤

Great venue for a wedding. The multiple levels and rooms which are all steeped in history make for an interesting backdrop to the day. Plenty of space for different forms of entertainment and Paul (Staff member) very friendly and accomodating throughout the day/night.

Was here for a Buddhist talk on happiness. Located centrally so not far from Glasgow Central Station. Parking available close by although maybe cost around five pounds for two hours. Main hall is large and easy to access and plenty of toilets available. Was a bit warm with temperatures around nineteen degrees around. Will be good for all talks/events for around two hundred people.

This is a historic building that you can hire out for meetings and other functions. Held a public meeting here in the main hall and found the whole thing to be very efficient and well run. The spaces themselves are good and flexible. Well, as flexible as a building of this age can be… Marks and Spencer is just down the road, which is great if you’re looking to pick up a sandwich or a jumper at lunchtime.

We held our wedding ceremony and reception at the Trades Hall on 27th September 2019. The Trades Hall is a beautiful setting with a small intimate room for the ceremony and a Grand Hall for dinner and dancing. The location is perfect and allowed us to take full advantage of all of the beautiful architecture in the surrounding merchant city area for our wedding photos. All of the staff were exceptionally helpful and ensured everything went off without a hitch. They were even able to help with locating missing flowers and poems without any difficulty. We also have to say a big thank you to the two members of staff who worked the bar during the reception and were dancing along with us! Elaine and Laura were amazing throughout the whole planning process and were there to help when we needed them! Elaine was there on the big day to help calm any nerves and guide us when we needed her. We would definitely recommend the Trades Hall for weddings and look forward to attending some of the other events they hold. Thanks again for everything David and Steph McNair.

It looks accessable to wheelchair users from the street it is an old building several lift's of various types are fitted but the first is a platform stair lift key operation locks at top others are small accomodating only one or two people at a time especially when a person is a wheelchair users.

2nd Glasgow City Wide Conversation Cafe 14/10/11 was held here by people in Recovery for people in or seeking Recovery from alcohol and substance abuse. All labels removed, each an equal....with a VOICE that deserved to be heard & it was approx 200 people in Glasgow in Recovery, Making a Difference....Making it Happen. Fantastic venue, unique settings fantastic Management & Team.Highly Recommend.Catering 5 star.
