What a sweet little find! Accessible by wheelchair, a row of seats at the back for chair users too.
Very quaint with squishy, comfy seats and there's a bar for drinks and snacks. Didn't actually go it to mind, so I don't know if that's accessible.
We watched one of the National Theatre Live shows which was perfect for such a venue. We will definitely be back!

Richard Booth's Cinema is very different to your normal high street cinema. The building has been lovingly restored. There is a bar and seating area for drinks and snacks. Insie there are only 40 seats but quite good quality and bigger than a normal cinema. You can also go out and get another drink from the bar. They do show main stream films as well as live feeds from the opera etc.

I’m a regular movie watcher and this is by far my favourite cinema. Has a very homely feel to it and is 100% worth a visit if you live in the area or are visiting on holiday. Can take a glass of wine or beer in from the bar and the seats are extremely comfortable. Great screen. Great sound with very pleasant and welcoming staff members.

Wonderful little Cinema. Just visit for first time since moving to wye valley a year ago . What a great little cinema - only seats about 48 but they are nice comfortable slightly larger than normal seats. They have a bar and happy for you to take drinks in. We had the delight of seeing the new bond film on the 30.9.21 at the 12.45 viewing. Staff were very polite and we enjoyed the whole experience very much looking forward to visiting again.

A great little cinema. Good size screen, good sound. Alcohol on sale. Friendly and courteous staff. Beats the hassle of a drive to Brecon, Hereford or Merthyr. My only niggle and slight at that, was the size of the cup the nut portion came in 😁 Cider and a movie, great!

First timers at this lovely venue. Had no idea what to expect but were pleasantly surprised. Comfy, clean, good visibility, good sound quality (not too loud thank goodness) polite staff. We bought nuts to chomp but a choice of other tasty treats and alcohol on offer along with an upstairs seated area which was very nice.
If there's a downside it's not being able to pre-book a seat as we booked on line.
It's a small intimate venue and would definitely go again even though we live in Hereford with its choice of cinemas.

Brilliant little cinema showing the latest films showing all the latest films. At the kiosk you can buy a cup of tea, a glass of wine and even a carton of chocolates or nuts to take in with you to the very comfortable & roomy seats. So indulgent, relaxing and enjoyable.
Just a pity you cant book the seats in advance as it gets quite full so you may not always get a seat together.

Definitely the place to go. 48 seater bijoux cinema with a good bar and sweetie shop. Shows a wide range of movies from new releases to oldie classics. Excellent restaurant in adjoining book shop. A major part of Hay-on-Wye's culture.

Excellent cinema experience, almost like a private preview cinema.
Only 46 tickets available per showing but seats unlike any cinema you have been in! Very comfortable!
Pre-booking is essential - The first time we arrived without tickets but were still squeezed in - BUT DO NOT TRY IT - Prebook on line. Current films and 'telecasts' of live performances.
Also you will get the joy of coming out of the cinema and wander around a completely empty H-o-W on later showings. (Except in Festival and H.T.L.G.I. weeks! )

It's a small cinema, with large seats, & a cosy atmosphere.
The screen is plenty large enough to give good visuals for any film.

A superb venue. Bar and great selection of treats, but most importantly, a really great place to watch films and live theatre transmitted from London.

Cinema luxury, booze, sweets and comfort...oh yes and the sound/vision is excellent too.

What a lovely change from "chain" cinemas, very comfortable, no blocked views and no smell of popcorn! First trip, won't be the last 👍

Vast selection of second hand books. Well worth a visit, you could spend hours browsing and the building is very ascetically pleasing.
