Friendly and helpful, went above and beyond with our boiler problem. Good price and efficient and new boiler installed without any fuss or mess. Decided to use aqua shield as recommended by one of my friends who have used them to do a repair on her boiler. Have put new boiler on a service plan with these so I don’t have fault in the future. After our 20+ year old boiler was on its last legs we got in touch with Aqua Shield for a replacement and from start to finish the service we recieved was outstanding. They blew the other quotes we had away, and the flexibility of the payment plans are top draw. The lads that carried out the work where fast,tidy and very polite. Lisa in the office was very helpful and we was always kept up to date with times. Our house has never been so cozy and would reccomend this company to anyone. Thank you.

All I can say is what a fantastic service we have received from Aqua Shield over the Christmas period. Sadly our boiler broke on Boxing Day, we knew it was in need of replacement and was hoping it would get us into the new year. We called up on Boxing Day and and the surveyor came on Sunday which we thought was super service. Many of our radiators where old and not in the best condition so we asked if a few of them could be replaced at the same time. This was no problem and the whole of the job including the boiler a Vaillant and radiators was completed yesterday. Considering we’re in the middle of Christmas I thought this was outstanding service. The lads worked late to make sure everything was working after there was an airlock in the heating system. All staff where pleasant and hard working. Thanks so much Aqua Shield for getting us sorted over a Christmas. Thank you.

I'm fairly new to the area and originally from Leeds. I can tell you that the service I received today fixing my boiler was 1st rate. I had a fixed rate boiler repair for £89 which included a small amount to cover parts and I'm pleased to say that all was completed in one visit. My boiler isn't the best in the world so I was expecting it to need a few more parts than it did but a sensor was replaced and now running great. So all fixed for £89. Well happy. Will be in touch when I decide it needs replacing. I'm hoping to get another year out of it.

Having recently been left in a position where I have a boiler that suddenly stopped working, I called this company to fix my boiler on which must have been the coldest day of the year so far. I called out of normal hours and my call was taken quickly by a very polite lady who was sympathetic with my situation, I'm so sorry that I can't remember your name arrange and she arranged for an Engineer to call the same evening due to my circumstances, I have to say I was blown away by her help. A plumber arrived within 2 hours who was wearing protective masks and gloves which made me feel safe. The man who came had my boiler repaired and working within 45 minutes. I paid £89 which I felt was very fair considering it was in the evening and on a Saturday. I had called some other companies who couldn't arrive until Monday, My Niece advised me to call Aqua Shield and I'm happy I did. The company called me the next day to check I and my boiler was ok and I am very pleased in all. Thank you again to everyone involved.

We recently had a boiler fitted by Aqua Shield and what a great experience it was. The staff in the office were amazing and catered to our needs promptly. We had no heating or hot water and they made sure a surveyor was out the same day to quote me for a new boiler. The surveyor was knowledgeable and knew exactly what I wanted. The installers worked on a Saturday to fit our boiler so we did not have to wait until the next working week! The engineers were polite, tidy and had full respect in my home. They quickly got our home back up and running with heating and hot water. I could not recommend this company enough. Great customer journey from start to finish.

Heating hero’s?! Most certainly, aquashield have continued to go above and beyond for me and my partner on every visit. Initially we had a full re pipe of our house which is quite old, I was quite nervous about this process as we was just moving into the property. I was unsure if we would get booked in before lockdown but aquashield assured me that everything would be fine and they would do the best they could. It was a smooth process and they left the property as it was found, all rubbish was taken and I could not praise them enough. Our home is nice and toasty! The reason I love aquashield as a company is because it is a family run business and you can definitely see this with how they treat their customers. They have continued to treat us like their own and nothing has ever been to much. Can I also add I had a young gentleman at our property today to fix our bath and he was very covid safe! Full PPE and was extremely polite, so thank you aquashield once again!

Changed rating to three as I thought two was being tight. Still not happy about my email not being acknowledged however. Had a install done with Aquashield. Only criticism with engineers was that my front door was left wide open when they went to lunch (unknowingly to me). Had fault with boiler install, manufacturer defect. Engineer said they'd ordered the part so if Ideal couldn't come out the next day, he would, even if it was in his own time to fix it. Next day came, called Ideal who said it would be another three days before someone would be round (so no hot water or heating for five days total in December). Advisor from Ideal asked if that was okay and clearly did not care that it wasn't. Spoke to Lisa at Aquashield, she said they were having issues with Ideal as it's all new staff but would sort it. Got the appointment bumped up to the next day (so *only* 48 hours without heating or hot water). I asked Lisa about what the engineer had said and was told that he shouldn't have said that and she will have a word with him as they (Aquashield) could fix it but would not normally since it's a manufacturer defect and would cost them money. My main issues are based around customer expectation, getting promised a resolution within 24 hours and finding that the reason it was longer was due to it coming at a cost to Aquashield. I felt significantly less valued as a new customer to them. I'd probably recommend Aquashield on the whole as Lisa was absolutely lovely and did the best she could but the processes are frustrating. I would have expected (hoped) that if Aquashield were fixing a manufacturer fault that they could have recuperated the cost from Ideal (or as a new customer I would be worth the cost), especially as its saving Ideal a call out and getting the customer up and running sooner which is what both companies should want. I raised a complaint in email to Aquashield, mainly about the process and didn't receive a response; probably now my main criticism. I'd avoid touching Ideal with a bargepool.

Great Experience - Had this company recommended by a friend I work with. We had a new ATAG boiler installed by Aqua Shield a few weeks ago and I am very pleased with the boiler. The guys who fitted the boiler worked very hard and never stopped all day, very hard working. We had a couple of unforeseen problems during the day which could not have been seen when the survey took place. The guys never complained and continued to work quite a way past the expected time and we did not get charged any extra by the company. Just wanted to mention that Aquashield stood out way beyond my expectations for honesty and professionalism. They fitted a new boiler to a rental property last year and went to the ends of the earth to make sure our tenant wasn't left in the cold, plus they actually told me the job came out cheaper than they originally quoted, instead of just taking my money they called and informed me the bill was less - how about that! Aqua shield installed our new Worcester Bosch boiler and John and I are very happy with the job. We got three quotations from two local company's and British Gas, aqua shield where in the middle price wise but we had heard good comments from other people. We got the quote of them the same day and the boiler was installed two days after. Nice tidy job and very happy customers. Will be happy to give them a 10/10.

I have recently had a new boiler installed and connecting pipes neated up. I have had a bad experience in the past with a previous installation with a different company. The people at Aquashield put my mind at ease and restored my faith. From start to finish I felt supported from the office staff, the gentleman who gave me the quote to the engineers. I cannot recommend these guys enough thank you so much for all of your hard work this week! We've just had a full new system put in and from start to finish everyone at aqua shield have been so friendly and helpful. We phoned all around hull and you'd be surprised how many company's didn't phone us back with quotes and we actually had to chase them for quotes, what a difference these guys where though giving us a price there and then on the night he came down to measure up, no mess, brilliant team of guys installing and a super friendly office team! Had this company out today to fix our boiler was quoted £79 by the lady in the office yesterday and the job was booked in for this afternoon. My usual plumber has now retired so I was a bit worried about using a new company. I have not used this company before. The engineer was called Andrew and he really knew his stuff, he got to the problem quickly and had our heating hot again within 15 minutes of arriving. The price quoted £79 was honoured and it's really nice to deal with a company that sticks to its promises with both price and appointment times. I also decided to get boiler cover with them to avoid any unexpected and un-needed costs in the future and they gave me 3 months free, I am a very happy bunny. Thanks to all of you including Andrew and the lady in the office who's name I have forgotten. I will definitely recommend this company. Brilliant service

After service none existent. After speaking to Mr Mcann the owner at aqua shield my issues are now resolved. I would like to amend my review as Mr Mcann rightly pointed out that when I had received excellent service on the previous four occasion dealing with Aqua Shield I had not posted a positive review. On the one occasion a blip in service happens I hit them with one star. This he felt was unfair. In hindsight I have to agree.

I started using aquashield about 8 years ago when I got them to install a new boiler. I have them service my boiler every year, they send you a reminder so you remember each year. Their staff have always been very professional and helpfull and the prices are fair too for what is a very good service.
