I’ve been to Nina for a pregnancy massage , c section scar massage and I am currently on week six of the holistic core restore program. Nina has helped me with coming to terms with a complicated birth and with feeling strong and confident in my body again. For anyone who’s had a c section I would recommend the massage. She has been able to get rid of any numbness and pain from just 3 sessions! Nina is a truly amazing person who is so insightful and welcoming. Thank you so much!

I recently received scar therapy treatment from Nina for my 11 year old c-section scar and I was amazed at the difference both visually and how it felt after a very short time. Having now had four sessions with Nina, I can now see why she is so highly recommended. I went to her initially for (c-section) scar massages as I had heard how beneficial these can be since scar tissue can cause so many problems. After every session I came out feeling incredible, not only physically but mentally too. We initially focused on my scar and my relationship with my scar but then we focused on my body as a whole. For someone who has body dysmorphia and the ghosts of an eating disorder, I can hand on heart say that no other health professional has changed my life how she has. She has given me the knowledge and tools to implement real self care and to really get back in tune with my body; from my scar and my breathing to posture and stress…the list is endless. I really hope to be able to have ‘MOT’ type sessions going forward and excited to enroll on ‘core restore’. Nina really has a special understanding about the female body and an intuition to what is really going on. She is just incredible and so worth every penny, thank you!

Cannot recommend Nina's aquabump enough and gutted sickness kept me away for so long! I was worried I wouldn't be able to keep up having not done much exercise since getting pregnant, but it was so accessible and lots of fun.

Nina is amazing. She is knowledgeable, caring and passionate about women’s health. I first saw her for a Mummy MOT and from then I was hooked. I am now a platinum member to her fitness platform and see her regularly for rehabilitative massage. Nina gives excellent instructions during her classes, particularly regarding your breath, each class is different, the tunes are great and Nina is hilarious. I have seen Nina previously for her Aqua Bump classes (highly recommend these!) This time I saw Nina for a Mummy MOT. I have just had my 3rd baby (she is 8 weeks old now), and was born by c section.
I have been experiencing weakness in my core and back aches / pains and knew I had to see someone. I really appreciated the fact that I could still see Nina during lockdown as a lot of professionals won't see people unless it is medically indicated, rather than wellbeing indicated (grey area as could say wellbeing is medically indicated!) Nina was professional, empathetic and compassionate. The whole appointment was undertaken with respect, dignity and care which my poor body definitely needed. I now have a structured plan to help get myself feeling better. This should be mandatory for all women as I know the short and long-term benefits this will provide me. I have ongoing support from Nina in returning to myself and I am incredibly thankful for that.

I had a mummy MOT with Nina and it was a very informative process. She was very welcoming and identified some area of improvement - she advised she'd send a follow up email with guidance about how to make improvements (awaiting this, but it's been less that 24 hours since my appointment and all guidance is tailored so this is TOTALLY understandable) to get back to my optimum following the birth of my baby.
Nina was so kind and gentle and even fashioned a breast pad out of couch covering - this is definitely going above and beyond!
Would recommend for all women - it's amazing how small changes can impact your body's performance.

I have recently completed the 12 week holistic core restore course with Nina, I’ve really enjoyed it and gained great results. Nina has a wealth of knowledge which she passes on and I have learnt so much about my body post labour and what can help my recovery.
I have also had a scar massage with Nina which I highly recommend, and my baby and I have completed an eight week course of Kerry’s mummy and baby yoga. I found Kerry’s yoga so relaxing and it lifted my mood for the remainder of the day, I am now going on to try Kerry’s evening yoga class.

I have seen Nina for 1-2-1 personal training sessions after giving birth to my first baby in 2015 and for a pregnancy massage. I have also attended her 12 week 'Get your body back after baby' after my second child born in July 2017. Nina's expertise has had such a positive impact on my life. I learnt so much from my initial consultation with regards to vaginismus: reasons why I presented with symptoms; causes and how to treat it. The relaxation techniques and exercises proved really beneficial. I have been to Suffolk Womens Wellness Centre for the past 6 months, Nina initially saw me for a Mummy MOT, where she used her expert knowledge and gave me invaluable advice on how to improve my pelvic floor and close my abs up following the birth of my daughter. I've attended Nina's aquanatal classes for both my pregnancies, the first being 7 years ago! Very good and Nina really knows her stuff! Reassuring that Nina is also a midwife too. I first visited Nina after struggling to heal following a caesarean and I haven’t looked back. Nina is highly trained and quickly identified what I needed to move forward. After a few one to one sessions I felt ready to complete her Get your Bodacious Back- a carefully structured program which focuses on looking after yourself on the inside as well as on the outside with exercises to do at home tailored to your individual needs. I can’t recommend Kerry at Suffolk Women’s Wellness enough. I really enjoyed pregnancy Yoga and found it very therapeutic during my pregnancy. The relaxation techniques came in very handy during labour. I then went on to do Mum and Baby Yoga with Kerry too. It was such a special time for my baby and I. Thank you so much for providing a range of fantastic massages and health education to ladies who have lost a baby or are pregnant again after loss. To be able to begin to metabolise grief and let it out of each cell held in the body is such an important and fundamental process that is not recognised or fully understood among our NHS colleagues. However, it needs to happen in order to be able to function with every day life, to prevent further pain and injury and to be able to ‘live in’ and love your body again.
When a woman loses her baby or babies, whatever the gestation, it is a natural reaction to feel that her body has let her down, it didn’t do what it should, it couldn’t provide safety for the growing baby. This has a knock on effect on self esteem, mental health and puts pressure relationships.
Through Nina’s invaluable knowledge and expertise, she is able to help women to release built up tension in their muscles, fibres and cells using a variety of methods, specific to each person which helps to rebalance hormones, refocus on positivity and love for ourselves. This, in turn has shown to have wonderful results in improving psychological and physical health, future relationships and fertility.

I first met Nina when I completed the Get My Body Back course last summer and it has completely changed things for me. I have had numerous health problems since the birth of my second child in 2015 and was becoming exasperated with the lack of change I was getting through the medical system. Nina’s course is a breath of fresh air. She really knows what she is talking about and the programme gives you guidance on how to exercise effectively postnatally as well as nutrition and lifestyle changes. The information given on the programme should be more widely available to all postnatal mums.
The exercise programme is a revelation and really makes you think about how you exercise after its completion. It is all achievable as it gradually builds up to doing more – I would not have described myself as particularly fit before but I feel so much stronger now. I have toned up a lot and gone down a dress size now wearing the same size I wore before having children. I am also planning on buying a bikini this year as I feel confident enough to wear one again now! The progress I have made spurs me on to do more.
I was doing Mama Tone at Washbrook which is a fab follow on from the initial course. I really miss this but have been trying to find other methods of exercise to keep going. It really makes you want to stay active and tone and strengthen yourself. I sometimes do Nina’s Aqua class too which follows similar principles and is always a fun and varied workout.
Nutrition wise I have been gradually following Nina’s guidance and cut down on sugar first and have now gone gluten free. I can honestly say I am feeling so much better and my health is on a much better course than before. I am now looking at skin care options to try and start using natural products where possible.
I have also had massages with Nina which again has been brilliant. It always leaves me feeling chilled out and eases some of my aches and pains. She really knows what she is doing and I am trying to have regular massages with her now to make some time for myself.
It just makes me so happy to know how far I have come since this time last year and how glad I am to have undertaken this process. Nina really knows what she is talking about and makes you feel at ease. She is great if you have any queries or problems and just need some general advice. I would recommend her and her services to other mums – if you are considering doing the course or trying out one of her classes it is definitely worth it.

Having had my two children and started a treatment that was working for my arthritis I felt ready to start exercising (on land) again after nearly 8 years, I had previously done Nina’s water classes so saw the GMBB advertised and thought this was the perfect answer to help me.
I loved everything about the course! The small knit group, the weekly gentle progression, advise on meal and snack ideas, support from Nina in and out of class and other class members. It’s not just exercising it makes you think about how you use your body in every aspect of daily life and I feel so much better for it all.

I have recently completed the 'get by body back after baby' with Nina. I really enjoyed the course and the sessions with Nina and it has enabled me to get back to fitness after having my son 5 months ago. I am back playing hockey which is something I was worried about doing after having a caesarean. Nina was very professional and approachable and gave me more motivation to eat well and exercise appropriately and to treat by body right post pregnancy. I was really pleased with the results throughout the course as I lost weight,toned up and had more energy even after some sleepless nights.

I had my baby in January 2016, and I met Nina in August 2017. I thought I had recovered well from my pregnancy and birth, and I had, my yoga practice helped me come along way. But I always felt something was missing, I felt I was always losing vital energy, and getting into bad habits as I couldn’t work out why. I found the answer to be a gap in my diastasis ! As a yogi this made perfect sense as it was my solar plexus that was losing so much energy! I worked with Nina on a 1:1 package of personal training and support, this included an exercise program which evolved as my body did, I looked at dietary changes and had instrument assisted massage which helped release tension I just could not, from all the lifting and caring that I did for my child. In yoga and meditation there are certain breathing practices, I still use these very much in my yoga practice, but I have learnt to use the breath differently, more dynamically with Nina’s help, changing my breathing really helped me work on my diastasis gap and pelvic floor.
I worked with Nina again this year after abdominal surgery. I found 13 weeks after surgery my scar was still very tender and sore and I was still very swollen/bloated. After one session my whole body and abdomen felt different. The tenderness was much improved along with the swelling and I could actually get back in my trousers! I have now booked on the 3 session package.

Her knowledge of the effects childbirth has on a woman's body is incredible (and scary! Who knew?!?) Fantastic service led by Nina. I've attended the 12 week course, a massage and a yoga class all of which has made a massive difference to my recovery. Nina has so much knowledge when it comes to the journey of pregnancy and recovery. The 12 week course is just what I needed, a space in which I can work on my body with the support of nina and more importantly a group of women who did not judge if I couldn't complete an exercise or hadn't had time to brush my hair that day!! The course and mixing with other mums has given me confidence and confirmed to me that a 'snap back body' isn't for everyone, sometimes you need to focus on correcting and releasing your body as well as taking time for myself. I honestly cannot recommend Nina highly enough! I first met Nina when I was 30ish weeks into my second pregnancy for a much needed pregnancy massage. I then went onto need a second emergency c-section, this time with some serious complications. At 12 weeks post surgery I was still unable to drive and in pain from just getting out of bed or standing up too quickly off of the sofa. After finding out from the gp I would have to wait 14 weeks to be seen by a consultant at the hospital. I decided to get in touch with Nina (the best decision ever!!) I booked to see Nina for a c-section scar assessment and massage. Nina was sure that I had adhesions and needed to work on my scar to encourage the scar tissue to lay neatly and heal correctly. After just one massage I no longer had pain from standing up! After 3 further treatments from Nina and lots of homework massages which Nina carefully taught me how to do myself, I can now drive- in all this has taken nearly 7 months- a day I often felt like would never come but with Nina's expert knowledge, caring and reassuring nature, she gave me the knowledge and support needed to get my freedom back! I can't thank Nina enough and encourage anyone who has had a c-section recently or even years ago, if your scar causes pain or just doesn't feel right or even if you think your scar is fine- my scar felt fine after my first c-section but was adhered and added to the complications during my second labour and surgery. So please visit the suffolk women's wellness centre for a scar assessment or book on to the c section scar workshop so Nina can give you the support needed as she really has changed my life!

Having had a personal consultation with Nina I can honestly say that she is personable, non judgemental and extremely knowledgeable about pre and post natal care. She listened to my needs, explained potential reasons behind them and offered a thorough and holistic solution which attended to the mind, body and emotions.

I can not rate this Pregnancy Yoga class enough it teaches you to slow down and really enjoy every moment. It gives you the opportunity to meet other mums to be, keep mobile, and working on all areas of your ever changing body.
Alongside this the breathing techniques taught are incredible and really do help during labour along with positions for birthing.

I have completed Nina's foundation and progressive courses. The courses have helped improve my posture and strength but I have also changed my diet and improved my overall fitness. During this time I have lost over 2st and feel so much better!

Yoga with Kerry is the perfect place for not only a bit of ‘me time’ but an opportunity for guidance, questions and exercises to ease the pains and aches in pregnancy. Saturdays have been difficult to attend with family time so I’m excited for the Tuesday classes coming soon

This post is for all "mum's" who think they can't get their fitness or figure back after having a baby. Intrigued then read on...
In 2013 I suffered a labral tear when competing in a marathon, fast forward to 2015 and the birth of our 2nd son - my hip still not right despite physio and my waistline struggling to shift the baby bump/poor core and other unattractive symptoms which we women endure post-baby.
Despite being able to run short distances anything over 4 miles or more than 2 runs in a week, would leave me uncomfortable and believing that there was no way I could get back to my former figure or fitness.
Then in May (after another failed running attempt) I decided to enrol in a programme ran by mamawellness.co.uk which focused on educating women in all aspects of recovery including post baby exercise and wellbeing no matter how old or long since having your baby.
In 6 weeks, I have lost 3kg, am becoming more toned and have successfully ran 5 runs in 12 days with no hip discomfort - feeling stronger than ever.
I still have a long way to go but with full support and guidance on specific exercises, as well as educating on how our bodies change with pregnancy and how to repair them, I know that I am on the right path to meeting my goals.
