I phoned Mel for emergency glass repair when kids smashed our living room window. Within two hours of calling him he came to measure up and within 48 hours of calling him I had a new piece of glass in my window. He was much cheaper and faster than I was quoted from other bigger companies, he was punctual, polite and left the place tidy. Will definitely use again. Thank you.

✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅ Brilliant service start to finish 10:30 - hinges damaged from gust of wind on a window stupidly opened. Called Sunday 11:00 30 Minutes later Mel at my house to secure and ensure window is closed for the night to ensure the rain/wind and cold didn’t cause any more damage. I'd just moved in to a new house and there were quite a few niggly jobs as well as several panes of glass that needed fitting The prices were competitive and Mel was more than happy to offer advice and suggestions. I've got a sliding door at the back of my house and one pane of the double glazed unit got damaged and needed replacing, but wasn't an urgent job. I contacted G4glass and Mel came out as soon as he could to measure up. The price he quoted me over the phone on initial contact was the price I paid on completion, very reasonably priced I thought and when fitting the new glass unit he didn't mess about, just got on with the job and took all the old glass away. If I'm ever in need of replacement glass again I'll be contacting G4glass first.

My son broke a window with a football. The following day I did a search on google. Mel’s number was one of the 3 listed and I called him after reading the reviews. It took him one hour from the call for Mel to be at my house. He measured the glass and informed me on the timeline etc. The following day in the afternoon Mel came with a glass and installed it in a bit more than a hour. In less than 48hrs I had a new glass and repaired a sticky lock on my main door. Thank you Mel I highly recommend him. And... no more football in the garden!

Mel removed a pane of my window so I could fit my new sofas through, then refitted the glass pane. He was very fast and efficient, and worked around the sofa delivery to ensure I wasn't left without a window pane for any longer than required. I would recommend using this service.

Got broken into while away. Called G4glass late on a Sunday and Mel arrived within the hour. Boarded us up neatly and ordered replacement glass. He kept us updated and returned with the replacement unit 3 days later. He repaired the damaged frame at the same time as installing the new glass. Efficient service and timely, quality service.

Over time some of my double-glazing had started to deteriorate, resulting in condensation between the glass. Mel came out to do a free quotation and then had the job done within a few days of my initial request. He replaced three double glazed panels in one large kitchen unit and another double glazed bathroom window. The frosted pattern was the original installed when the property was first built and he sourced it especially to match. Very impressed with the end result and would highly recommend!

I feel lucky we had Mel from G4Glass to carry out the repair for our upvc windows. Not only did he come with the best quote out of three, he responds to your messages adequately and tries to fit you in quickly. He works around your own work schedule without complaining for coming round evening time. He carried out the repair with care and the windows open and close smoothly again. He even supplied two new door handles free of charge, which prompted us to give him a tip. Don’t look any further, Mel is your man!

Another job completed to high satisfaction by G4glass. Replacing a window full of condensation and weathered lead. The price quoted seemed very reasonable and competitive and because of our previous experience we did not want to compare with other companies and booked it straight in. Again Mel worked round our work diary by offering to do the job on a Saturday. Had finished it that day if the manufacturer could have made the new window in time. When that appeared not to be feasible he made sure a temporary replacement got made and he finished it at the next possible moment, Monday evening after work. He aimed to reuse the current lead but when that proved impossible he arranged good looking replacing lead. Pleasure to look through a clear window again, with good memories of this reliable company.
