What a hidden gem this site is. We're just back after a couple of nights in our camper. Small and basic but everything you need just how we like it. Well maintained site, the friendliest chickens I've ever seen, and pretty gardens make you feel you're miles from anywhere. The owners were friendly and helpful. The facilities were clean and a good standard and you're on a bus route into Liverpool should you not want to drive. We will definitely be back. Thank you 😊

A lovely site on a small holding. Beautiful flower displays. One toilet and shower (20p for 4 minutes, plentiful). Very welcoming.

Wonderful campsite... And links to the city reasonably close. Very friendly owners, and spotlessly maintained. The facilities are small but very clean, and I like the little touches.... For example, in the shower there's proper hooks to hang things... Not little puny afterthought that your belongings fall off from! Also, a fridge is available for your use... Great for milk and food in the summer for us tenters! Fresh eggs are available from the on site chickens, £1 a half dozen. Bargain! When I'm next in Liverpool, season permitting, I'll be back. You really feel like you're in the middle of nowhere, not half an hour from a major city!

Small campsite for CCC members clean and tidy with shower , toilets etc and very close to Liverpool with a good bus service ideal for visiting local attractions

This camping is wonderful!! My boyfriend and I stayed here a few day in july. The atmosphere of the campsite is magical, surrounded by nature full of flowers. The owners are kind and helpful people. The location of the campsite is excellent. It is near the train station and is 20 minutes from liverpool city center. We left a piece of our heart in this place. We'll be back.

Beautiful campsite and a very nice couple. Unfortunately, the shower cubicles were either being renovated or weren't there yet. We were then allowed to use the shower in the holiday apartment, which is also located on the property.

This is a truly lovely place, right where you wouldn't expect one. A large meadow where you're standing next to a paddock, chickens, and a lovely garden. A somewhat unconventional shower and toilet for everyone. Everything is clean and perfectly adequate. You can buy fresh eggs and simply feel at home with the friendly couple. Liverpool is a 30-minute drive away, so everything was perfect for us.

Nice owners, a married couple. Well located for visiting Liverpool. A 20-minute walk to Maghull North train station. Trains run every 15 minutes from there.

Absolutely loved my stay here 😊 train station is a little walk away, and the gardens and polley tunnel is a added bonus! The owners are lovely too xx a think it should be called hidden gem
