What a hidden gem this site is. We're just back after a couple of nights in our camper. Small and basic but everything you need just how we like it. Well maintained site, the friendliest chicken I've ever seen and pretty gardens make you fell you're miles from anywhere. The owners were friendly and helpful. The facilities were clean and a good standard. and your on a bus route into Liverpool should you not want to drive. We will definitely be back. Thank you 😊

Wonderful campsite... And links to the city reasonably close. Very friendly owners, and spotlessly maintained. The facilities are small but very clean, and I like the little touches.... For example, in the shower there's proper hooks to hang things... Not little puny afterthought that your belongings fall off from! Also, a fridge is available for your use... Great for milk and food in the summer for us tenters! Fresh eggs are available from the on site chickens, £1 a half dozen. Bargain! When I'm next in Liverpool, season permitting, I'll be back. You really feel like you're in the middle of nowhere, not half an hour from a major city!

Very beautiful smallholding campsite in Maghull. Perfect for camping and campervans. Lovely quiet place to stay but very convenient for visiting Liverpool. Would highly recommend.

Absolutely loved my stay here 😊 train station is a little walk away, and the gardens and polley tunnel is a added bonus! The owners are lovely too xx a think it should be called hidden gem

Lovely small site on a smallholding. Within walking distance of bus and rail into Liverpool central. Facilities are good and eggs from hens you can visit! Great site for a few days on Merseyside.

This camping is wonderful!! My boyfriend and I stayed here a few day in july. The atmosphere of the campsite is magical, surrounded by nature full of flowers. The owners are kind and helpful people. The location of the campsite is excellent. It is near the train station and is 20 minutes from liverpool city center. We left a piece of our heart in this place. We'll be back.

Schöner Campingplatz und sehr nettes Paar. Leider waren die Duschkabinen in renovation oder noch nicht vorhanden? Wir durften dann die Dusche der Ferienwohnung, die sich ebenfalls auf dem Grundstück befindet benutzen. (Translated) Nice campsite and very nice couple. Unfortunately, the shower cubicles were being renovated or not yet available? We were then allowed to use the shower in the holiday apartment, which is also on the property.

Dies ist ein ganz goldiger Platz, da wo man keinen erwartet. Eine große Wiese auf der man neben einer Pferdekoppel, Hühnern und einem netten Garten, steht. Etwas unkonventionell eine Dusche und eine Toilette für alle. Alles sauber und völlig ausreichend. Frische Eier kann man kaufen und sich bei dem netten Ehepaar einfach wohl fühlen. Nach Liverpool hat man 30 min mit dem Auto, also für uns war alles optimal. (Translated) This is a very cute place where you don't expect any. A large meadow where you stand next to a paddock, chickens and a nice garden. A bit unconventional one shower and one toilet for everyone. Everything clean and completely sufficient. You can buy fresh eggs and simply feel comfortable with the nice couple. After Liverpool you have 30 minutes by car, so everything was ideal for us.
