O. Y.I went to this restaurant for over a year no matter by apps or eating in and I must say it is excellent. Without doubt food is yummy. I love the fried rice, summer rolls and pho soup from here. And their service is brilliant. Last year I got their postcard and prawn crackers with delivery every time in pandemic. And when my food has some problems, they are happy to sort out professionally. :) I and my partner agree this restaurant is one of our favorite absolutely.

For me it's got everything, a great varied menu with so much to choose from, tons of vegan options too so I'm made up! But the staff are helpful and friendly and even suggest things to go with certain meals
It's clean and well furnished with a modern vibe, Ive been to two Phos so far but they are just too class and I think you'd struggle to find a bad word about them!
C. W. C.We are regulars here. The starters were delicious (Prawn summer rolls and chicken wings). The summer rolls went down well with robust peanut sauce.
The mains were disappointing. The quality seems to deteriorate over time. We had a spicy curry with beef brisket and Crab noodles. The curry had a very robust coconut flavour and was creamy. However, it was not spicy. The rice was undercooked, which was very disappointing. The crab noodles were delicious, and the broth was flavourful. However, it contained several pieces of very chewy beef in it.
H. D.Visited Liverpool and came here for lunch. It was absolutely delicious! I had Summer Rolls to start and Pho for the main course. Both courses were fabulous; so full of flavour, and tasted so fresh. There are so many options to customise your food; eg choosing meats, prawns or tofu in summer rolls and the pho, and being able to choose between a meat based broth or veggie broth for the pho. When my pho arrived, I was also given a small plate of fresh herbs and accompaniments for it that I could add as I wished, which I really enjoyed. The service was great, and loved the decor and the atmosphere too. Can't wait til I can visit again. Highly recommend.

Only issue for me was the discretionary 12.5% Service charge is already added to your bill. In the UK we generally work to 10% and I would like to know who gets this as it is a cashless site. Should really give this option prior to the bill, not afterwards. That was they only thing for me as it was my first visit.
I. H.So the first time I came here I rated a 4 star and came back and then rated it 5 stars. However I've been back countless times, eating in and out, and this place is perfect. The food is so delicious I've never eaten anything here that was anything less than amazing. Also the staff are absolutely exemplary, they're a credit the restaurant and really make the experience all that much better.

I went for the 'Spicy Green' pho, a house special which was just delicious and superbly flavoured.
In addition to that the atmosphere was relaxed and the waitress was just lovely!

v. d.Excellent service!It was my first time there and I have previously had Vietnamese food many years ago, but forgotten what I prefered to eat. The assistant went through the menu and made suggestions according to my specifications. The staff were very patient and friendly with a great atmospheric within the establishment. The rice dish - Com Tam (Ca ri), noodle dish - Bun (Chicken),starters...Canh ga and Nem hai san. They have a great selection of vegetarian options too.

I.Disappointingly, they've gone down the path of adding an "optional" service charge on your bill - no transparency on the actual percentage just an amount, so you have to work out what they've tipped themselves (would much prefer to tip at my own discretion). Waiting staff seem a bit uncomfortable having to point this out to you and asking if you'd like it taken off if you haven't enjoyed the service.

The place is lovely itself but the food is so bad. Not recommended if you want “authentic” Vietnamese pho.

There's a good variety of options on the menu, for both carnivores and vegetarians/vegans alike. Staff are friendly without being intrusive. It does get busy at certain times though, so you might want to book ahead if there is a group of you going...

Fair play to them that they brought it when asked and knocked it off the bill. My side arrived before any ones starter. When questioned they advised this was when people ordered prawn crackers they are brought to the table first. Please bare in mind I specifically said I did not want a starter just a side. A. P.I've been to Pho in Bristol already and I was expecting it to be as nice in Liverpool. The lunch deal was absolutely phenomenal. I expected the portions to be slightly smaller as it was a lunch deal, but they were actually the normal size. The food was exquisite, the waitresses polite and helpful and the atmosphere was very homely. One thing I have to criticise is that you have to ask for a dessert menu, as there are no desserts on the main menu. The matcha ice cream was delicious, but the portion was rather small for the price of £5.
B. G.Family of four ( 7yo and 4yo), we had lovely 2 noodle broth soup and two kids chicken soups. The portions were more then satisfying. Kids were given a paper to draw and noodle task to solve and were well entertained whilst we waited. The soups were very tasty indeed. The staff were quick, responsive, pleasant to talk to and informative about the dishes. Overall service, the quality of dishes and taste were superb. Highly recommended if you wishing to experience relatively cheap but quality type Vietnamese street food.

S. B.This was my second visit to Pho. One of the most noticeable aspects of the food here is how fresh the ingredients are. This gives the food great presentation and taste. The pork spring rolls with lettuce and mint dipped in the peanut sauce sounds like it shouldn't work but it's delicious. Will definitely be back here!

Only disappointment was that we ordered a lunch deal with student discount, and they changed it to a regular price in the bill. Upon raising this, the waitress reluctantly changed this to the lunch menu price and removed the student discount. Didn’t feel like fighting for £4, so didn’t raise this again. Would recommend you checking your bill thoroughly.

W.After our initial visit, I wrote a scathing review about Pho expressing my dissatisfaction, however we were quickly contacted by a manager who personally dealt with our complaint personally in a professional manner and invited us back. Our second experience was much better, the food was much more flavoursome and we really enjoyed our meals. Having said this, personally it is still a little over priced and the menu is still difficult to understand but I cannot fault how our complaint was dealt with and the food was delicious the second time around.
*Never actually suspected that I’d tasted dog meat ... until eating at Pho. I ordered the meatball pho dish off one of the most pretentious menus in existence from an overwhelmingly enthusiastic waitress. The meat was literally grey, floating in the most tasteless broth (basically warm water). The seasoning is on the side of the dish with the customer expected to “season” the broth to taste. Leaving only two jobs to the chefs... making a broth and cooking the meat. So far from Vietnamese food it almost hurts. Embarrassing.*
C. J.It's just brilliant. Unique flavours, friendly and helpful staff, if you have not experienced Pho before, you need to. The restaurant itself has a great variety of tables suitable for any mood, size of group, or other requirements from cozy and romantic through to bubbly and lively parties or bigger get togethers. The coffee is pretty good too, and you get the sense that the chefs as well as the servers really know the food, the ingredients, and the menu.. and are enthusiastic about the whole Pho experience. Would give 10 stars if I could. Just go, you won't regret it.

Ordered a take out last night... it took over an hour to prepare and then when we got it they had missed out few bits to our meal including the peanut sauce (this is the 3rd time this has happened)... and for anyone who has had the peanut sauce, you will know how much you need it.
Over all the meal was poor compared to what we have had when eating in. Wont bother getting a take out from here again.

R. S.I came here on the opening day and I have been back a couple of times since, the pho is really nice and I love that you get your greens on the side so you can add them as and when you please. They also do fantastic cocktails here as well as a lot of asian alcohol like sake. The crispy baby squid is amazing. We came here with some really picky eaters and they loved it as they have other noodle dishes as well so it's great fun all round.
P. Y.A great introduction to Vietnamese broth. Friendly, helpful service and great Vietnamese soup (Pho). Also serves a wide variety of herbal and fruit teas. Most of the seating is for groups of two to four but I'm sure larger groups can be catered for.

The banh xeo was honestly not too bad; filling was pretty good, the pancake was lacking the doughy texture as you'd find in home cooking but adequate, especially for a chain

K. M.Having been to the one in Manchester I'm glad they've made the move to Liverpool. They've really adopted the style of Bold St here as well which is great to see. We had the Pho with everything. Not a fan of the chicken in Pho, it tasted a bit dry but the prawns are lovely. Would highly recommend the pork springrolls! No beers on draught which is a shame. If you've never had Pho, give it a go.

J. J.Very nice food. I had chao pho (I think) which is a vegan noodle soup. The broth is absolutely amazing and you can choose vegetable or meat broth. You can also choose some extras like tofu, prawns or veg.
The pina pho lada is great and I loved it. Apart from that the service is good and the place is stylish.
V. V.Would have got five but on 27 Dec after the holiday period it was missing quite a lot of disorders including the fresh summer rolls which was all I wanted after 3 days of meats and spuds!
