Reviews of The Liverpool Waterfront
C. G. P.
It's a fantastic place to stop ,shop and party. The people are so friendly and relaxed and we just happened to stay on the liverpool football team bus tour. Liverpool was bouncing with a great vibe.
I would definitely recommend this city.
S. T.
This is a great area for a walk about. Not crowded at this time of the year, and right next to the Liverpool Museum (which is fantastic by the way). Recommended.
M. M.
Breath taking place, mixture between culture, nature and history.
Recommended for taking your time to relax and meditate.
Don't forget to enjoy a cup of coffee from the nearby street coffeeshop.
J. N.
Good place for a photographer. Area is nice to walk around for a quick breather as well
L. F.
Liverpool Waterfront is a spacious pedestrian route offering incredible views of the River Mersey. It is a must see for the famous landmarks such as the Three Graces
M. H.
As a Manc having to visit the city for the first time in a long time... I was pleasantly surprised at how much Liverpool has come on. The water froms development is amazing! Lots to see and do for all walks of life. It's also a decent walk too, with all the historical buildings along side new. Worth a visit I'd say and I'll probably visit again soon.
L. H.
Had a lovely day out here recently.
The weather was fantastic which made being by the docks cool and refreshing.
After having something to eat in a near by restaurant we walked along The Liverpool Front.
It was great to see the historic buildings such as The Liver Buildings lit up by the sun, the modern museum and the statues of The Beatles.
Would definitely visit here again
D. “. R. 》.
Really beautiful, I love Liverpool for their building couldn't resist the Night time pictures!
K. S.
Very little to complain about here. Mostly a tidy place and offers a pleasant walk to enjoy any time of the year. You can see the ferries traveling through the River Mersey and there's always a bench to sit on if you wanna take in the view, as well as places to visit along the waterfront.
The only thing I dislike is seeing Birkenhead in the distance. But hey ho.
G. P.
I lived close by in the late 1970's and 1980's and NEVER would I have suggested this was a great place to visit. The contrary, I would have suggested to stay well clear. Now however, well I have to applaud the City for doing an incredible job in converting this to a place that locals would be so proud to share. I feel very comfortable walking around here, it's a beautiful site and so much to see.
S. A.
Recommend place to listen to the sea and drink you coffee.
Note:Be careful from the birds, if you decide to eat your sandwich or cake in this location.
P. B.
Great views and lovely places to visit. Would recommend this to anyone who has not been before.
P. B.
Fantastic waterfront with amazing buildings. So much to see and do. Thoroughly recommend the Royal Liver building 360 tour. The views from the 15th floor are amazing. You will need to be fairly fit though as you have to climb over 100 steps! Culture, restaurants, shopping and much much more. Fabulous place.
S. H.
Wow, not what I expected at all. Very much worth visiting. So much to see, do and visit.
Heaps of fantastic architecture, galleries, bars, cafe and restaurants.
The 'new' shopping area has sucked the life out of the 'old' though. That's a shame.
S. W. (. H.
Lovely waterfront with lots of things going in for families etc. Could do with more public toilets if I'm honest. Very popular with tourists but also the locals who enjoy it in a daily basis.
S. R.
Lovely sunny day. Walked along from Albert Dock. Can't believe how clean and tidy the place was. No litter. No graffiti. Was a pleasure to wander along. Great views over the river and watching the ferry. Some beautiful buildings to look at.
Sat and had an ice cream just sat watching the world go by. Lovely. Just shows what can be achieved. It's a credit to Liverpool.
M. S. M.
If you time it right, there's usually something special going on, but even when it's quiet it's still my favourite part of Liverpool. On a sunny day there are places to sit outside for food/drink, etc. Just great to watch the boats and ferries across The Mersey.
P. C.
It was ok.
We are talking about the street and pedestrian area near the water where you can just walk up and down, right?
d. e.
Liverpool pier head, nice open space, give you a great view of the buildings, but do watch out or the cyclists and now electric scooters, otherwise a a great place for sunsets and river views,
R. P.
The best part of Liverpool are the docks and Mersey. I love to go there and observe the river on coffee :)
R. E.
As a Scouser myself, Liverpool Pier Head is one of the most fantastic places to visit in Merseyside. It includes the Three Graces, The Beatles Statues and the famous: 'Ferry across the Mersey'. I recommend a lovely walk up to the Albert Dock for a nice coffee afterwards to warm up!
p. n.
When it reopens this is a great place to spend time and explore the maritime museum and other fantastic buildings or go for a trip on the Mersey ferry and see the Liverpool waterfront in all its glory.
m. g.
Liverpool has a vibrant waterfront, a mix of the old and the new. Great places to eat, drink and visit with views across the Mersey, well worth a visit.
P. S.
Fun things are on here all the time, it is much prettier and visitor friendly since it was done up. I like to just sit and either watch the river or marvel at the 3 Graces and they're visual splendour of a more opulent time for Liverpool
L. W.
Its lovely here no matter what time of the season it is . There are soo many places to go in and explore even with young children. There was an event on when we went all the army were there from r.a.f to sea cadets there were loads really good. Got lots of fteeboes information on joining. Kids loved it got to go and sit in their trucks , helipcopters try on some things it was fun
N.
Absolutely Stunning, Highly recommend a visit
B. B.
Always something of interest besides the Three Graces. Sir David Attenborough (Boaty Boatface) was awaiting sea trials off Holyhead whenever the Welsh let her in.
S. L. (.
Historic authenticity of the waterfront is maintained to a large extent. Good fun outing for solo traveller or family. Food and entertainment options are plenty. The Beatles Experience, Albert docks, river cruises, shopping etc is self contained. Buses and train stations are a short walk away. Totally worth it!
P. i. W.
Very clean area with places to sit and overlook the Mersey, watch the ferries come and go, or just sit and watch the world go by. Remember to have your photo taken with The Beatles statue (located near the ferry terminal)
M. L.
I work here but it's a fantastic place for tourists and visitors alike. Lots to do and lots to see. Places to eat and have a drink are plentiful.
E. D.
Iconic and lovely area for a stroll, I love the padlocks left by lovers along the railings on the water's edge. Beautiful at sunset..
S. C.
Superbly redeveloped in recent years the waterfront has really never looked better. Plenty of activities throughout the year, and close to Liverpool One and the Albert Dock. The modern buildings built in the last decade or so contrast well with the classic Three Graces of the waterfront, and the whole development seems to work quite coherently. Far more enjoyable than walking around a shopping centre!
M. U.
A beautiful place to spend some time. Start here at the Liver Building and wander slowly around to Albert Dock. In Winter 2017 it has been transformed into a winter wonderland.
D. H.
Fantastic day, especially when sunny, loads to do and great for kids, can go on the boats and do tours, the big wheel is excellent
A. W.
Very nice to visit! Relaxed and quaint atmosphere. Historic and very rich in visual aesthetics. Nice waterfront for good family fun.
D. A.
Such a pleasant place to visit! Loads to see nice shops and easy atmosphere. Be aware you have to book in advance to go up the Liver Building. The Liverpool Eye is good, you don't have to book either. It was £10 for adults and £8 for kids, I think. We were on there about 20 minutes.
J. J.
It is a nice place to visit especially when you need to take some time out to yourself and go for a little walk.
W. B.
Mersey views, the Three Graces, places to sit and eat museums Albert Dock 5 minute walk buses and during summer fair rides and food outlets. Cruise liners often visiting..
D. C.
The city of Liverpool boasts this amazing waterfront with many attractions such as The Albert Dock, The Beatles Story, The Tate Gallery, The Cruise Liner Dock, The Ferry across the Mersey..... I could go on for ever but the best thing you could do is go there and enjoy it yourself. From the airport, just jump on a 500 bus and it will bring you to Liverpool One bus station and the Waterfront is right across the road.
P. W.
Spent a lovely summers evening on the waterfront. There was a beer and food festival and a fair to entertain people. Easy to see why the Liverpool waterfront is a worldwide iconic scene
a. w.
Supercool place to visit on sunny day , everything is near by i.e. The Beatles Story and variety of museums, all tourist attractions are in walking distance.
B. W.
What a great place to visit. A buzzing, fun atmosphere, evocative old buildings, exciting new ones; all combined with a proud heritage marvellously regenerated
K. L.
Such a lovely place for a wander. Plenty to see. Free access to museums.
B. M.
Nice place to be. Its a very short walk from the shopping centre. Lots of food outlets. A nice place for a stroll with a mixture of old and new architecture.
G. B.
A lovely area of the city to visit. It has been well thought out and is very well presented. It was clean and tidy. Definitely a place to visit.
D. C.
A unique, historic location that is known the world over and is always impressive. The main landmarks at the Pier Head are The Three Graces which are the Royal Liver Building, The Cunard Building and the Port of Liverpool Building. However, many new buildings have been added along the waterfront in recent times which adds variety to this special cityscape.
s. j.
It is a very nice place to visit and you can enjoy the river view and the iconic buildings in Liverpool from here. Also, it is in close proximity to the Museum of Liverpool and the Pier Head.
g. l.
Liverpool has some very good places to visit... Especially the architecture of the buildings in the city.. Superb explore 👍
K. B.

O. P.
Very beautiful waterfront. Large pedestrian space to get a view of the three buildings and the river.
c. l.
A UNESCO world heritage site. Beautiful architecture and stunning views of the River Mersey. Watch the big cruise liners visit the city or take the world famous "Ferry Across the Mersey". Home to the Liverpool museum and the Albert Dock.
F. A.
It is beautiful and breath taking at night . All the pictur s were taken during the bon fire night at night mode. The pictures are uploaded without any filters .
S. “. T.

P. A.
The iconic Liverpool waterfront with its beautiful architecture is simply stunning
M. S.

R. M. A.
I attended an Event there. It was a grand gathering to share food and friendship on the iconic Liverpool waterfront.
Under the banner of LRMnet, local mosques are teaming up with Liverpool City Council, other local authorities, Merseyside police, other faith leaders, football clubs, local businesses and the pioneering nationwide initiative #Taste Ramadan. It was an unforgettable 2019 Ramadan experience which brought together some 1500 local people from different backgrounds at Iftar (break-fast meal) on Saturday 18th May 2019.
It was really amazing day.
C.
When i was a kid my dad and mom keeps on listening to the music of the BEATLES... now i"m here to liverpool where this iconic band came from... Love this place... The people are so kind they always smile at you... Thanks liverpool.....
A. S.
The waterfront has been lovingly redeveloped with a large variety of shops, museums and places to dine.

J. “. P.
I love Liverpool #lurve people are friendly and help take family pics for you. Atmospheric of times past and up to the minute in art and retail
N. A.
Another check on my bucket list! While it was windy & rainy when we went, the sun came out for a photo with the Beatles statue down on St. Albert Docks! We visited The Cavern where the Beatles started, museums & had a great day in Liverpool! Put it on your list!
L.
Great fun, easier to grasp than you expect. Only gripes, the boots were not as comfortable as I had expected, finding them digging into my foot after a while.
Also, they should have two lanes, one for the slower less confident skaters and one for the more confident that don't require holding onto the banister the whole way round.
I. W.
A wonderful day out in Liverpool to watch the tall ships depart. Lots of entertainment for all the family.
g. z.
So full of history. Beautifull place.
D. C.
World class iconic waterfront. This was the first trip to the Pier Head to ride on the Mersey Ferry for our grandsons, both aged about three. It was a fabulous day out for them, having got the train into town and then the boat. It's been several years since I'd been on the ferry and I still loved it too.
J. W.
Fe fantastic although very windy at times. Lot of interesting monuments and statues.
R. H.
Lots to do - We took the Merseyside Ferry tour and went to the Maritime Museum and went on the fairground rides - Excellent!
O. F.
One of the best places in Liverpool. Enjoyed walking there, it's beautiful during the day and at night.
I. S.
Possibly one of the most beautiful, inspiring, iconic waterfronts in the world. Simply stunning. Lots to do whatever the weather, stroll around the dock, visit the museum's, galleries, shops and bars. Just relax and enjoy yourself.
R. F.
Very nice area for a stroll, specially on a sunny day!!
E. A.
Such a wonderful and serene environment. It's a must-see place if you ever visit Liverpool
L. O. L.
There are now quite a lot of locks on the Liverpool's Albert Docks, and there is a sign up that states "This is a special place for lovers! Interlock your padlocks on the railings and throw away the key into the Mersey. You will never lose your true love!"
J. D.
Great day out. £3.75 return adult ticket from Seacombe. Kids loved it
t. k.
Perfect for a walk and take in the wonderful buildings and statues with a ferry trip along the mersey

a. J.
We ate at Matou. Great location but it was £130 for 4 average tasting meals and we felt rushed from start to finish. Then we got asked if we would like to pay an £11 service charge which we did because were soft.
c. g.
Great place...the sea makes it soo realxing
D. M.
Fabulous visit to Liverpool. I highly recommend you visit and take in all the history that it has to give.
D. H.
Great place to visit. Lots to see, do and eat. Take an open top bus tour round the city from here too.
J. L.
Wowsers, what an absolute stunning area this is, the architecture is a mix of historic periods with spots of 20th & 21st century architecture.
Then although officially this is the estuary rather than the sea, it really feels like the sea. Beautiful 😍
J. B.
Spectacular sights and scenery, great city to be apart off and being a scouser myself be brought up here, Liverpool waterfront is full history and great landmarks, must visit for any one come to Liverpool.
M. M.

Super public space which is great for walking.
T. C.
Iconic buildings and lovely area to wander and explore
J. D.
The Liver building is well worth the visit the views are brilliant.
J. W.
On a nice day you can't beat the open walk along the river but beware of cyclists without bells or horns coming up behind you. Some sections have a natural incline to drain path into river but if you have corns like me pretty painful to walk on. Again cobbles in certain areas so wear sensible shoes. Enjoy worth a visit purely for the views on both sides of river.
C.
What is not to love. Our World famous waterfront.

D. M.
Beautiful waterfront even more stunni g when seen from the ferry.
M. K.
Beautiful😍✨❤ kids love❤ it
G. L.
Well preserved. Stunning view.
D. F.
The Three Graces, another iconic part of Liverpool life. You're best off going during the day even though the beautiful waterfront looks amazing at night.
It tends to get very busy of a night and you have to dodge the skater kids (which isn't a bad thing) but as I said it's very busy of a night.
I find it better going over to Woodside Ferry terminal (on the dark side) to view the stunning city skyline at night 😃😃😃😃
J. C.
Lots to do and see with great food options.
S. A. B.
Beautiful place to visit
D.
Really fun place to visit, lots of things to see and do. People of Liverpool are very welcoming and friendly
s.
Very nice to place to be around with Family, Friends or for walk, running, cycling. Electric scooters are available now in Liverpool to be around. Taxis are available very quick also. Parking is paid before 630pm. Free in many areas after 6:30pm. Majority of Cruises stop here.
B. E.
Just a pity about the amount of rubbish, beer cans/bottles and used fast food packaging just left dumped. What impressions do we leave for all our outsiders visiting our famous city?
L. C.
One of the world's most iconic waterfronts. Lots to see close by, a great place to visit.
E. K.
Always love walking on the Liverpool waterfront and the old buildings. So much history it is thrilling.
F. I.

Great for a weekend break, we stayed at the nearby Staybridge Suites hotel and booked with Tesco Vouchers so 2 nights only cost us £7 on top. Amazing value and Liverpool is awsome. Great nightlife and a vast choice of restaurants, cuisines, bars and clubs
C. K.
Very vibrant with places to eat and drink. Museums surround it, check out the Beatles
D. D.
An interesting and diverse place to visit.
w. E.
Nice place for a stroll when around liverpool
K. J.
One of the best locations in Liverpool.
l. m.
What a pleasant stroll. Plenty to see and the views are fantastic.
N. J. (.
Lovely walk by the waterside. Plenty of restaurants, cafes, ice cream vans and museums.
W. L.
The waterfront itself is a great attraction, but more recently there are ongoing roadwork developments at The Strand which are causing great disruption in accessing the area. Be prepared for a long wait in traffic during peak times, and a shorter delay in off-peak times.
NB there is very limited access to the three Grace's at the pier head. If you're new to the city and visiting this part of town, make yourself familiar with the changes before driving.
I. P.
I think it is a wonderful place to spend time and relax with friends and family. There's plenty to do with the hospitality and museum's however I do feel that for disabled people like my husband the royal Albert dock is not very friendly with all the cobbles and also I find it disgusting that disabled blue badge holders have to pay full price parking, but why am I mentioning this, it will never change because you just like ripping people off with extortionate prices on parking. Absolutely disgusting
M. G.
Lovely place to go for a walk got some good pics of the sunset as well
D. J.
Is a nice spot to look across the river .. it's big enough to get away from the traffic. Lovely on a hot, sunny day. However it's a shame there's no long a foot bridge as the road does cut the area off from the rest of the city.
P.
Great place to visit would definitely recommend a few days lots of interesting buildings and places to visit so much to see and do.
a. c.
Always a pleasure to wonder around the docks. Gorgouse views, Art, bars, restaurants and museums free entry except for special exhibitions at the Tate.
L. R.
I love this place, walking along otterspool promenade on sunny day you can not beat it.
F. A.

W. R.

S. F.
Nice and calm place to wind off after a days work
I. b.
Brilliant place to visit
M. F.
Great place for a wander, lots of paving coming loose though. Too many cars and delivery vans on pavements.
S. C.
Beautiful place to visit, it looks great on a bright sunny day. Every time I drive through here to make deliveries there are loads of people snapping themselves with the iconic liver buildings. You can also get on the tour open top busses here by the look of it
A. M.

a. b.
Amazing ice ring at the Pier Head today.
T. O. (.
Perfect if you love The Beatles. Big museum here dedicated to them plus the boat trips on the Mersey river and the buildings known as The Three Graces. Nice area completely revamped over the last few years
I. O.
So calm and tranquil, we ride on Bikes just to go down and have a sit down away from everyday life just the men. Its great.
P.
Beautiful, historical and was please to see how well maintained the area is by being clean and the pavings level.
w. w.
Ended a cost to cost bike ride here. Was a grim day and made everything look a little dull. Can't say I saw much going on. The buildings, especially the older ones look interesting and worth a look.
Would recommend a visit to the waterfront, if not for the history or the ferry but for the view across the Mersey.
D. M.
Great place to visit
L. N.
Beautiful Place to walk and Relax. Art pieces all around. Pretty enjoyable. Very nice views of the Dock and old buildings. And if you go a little further can enjoy a very nice view if the Liverpool beach
M. P.
Lovely place to visit
G. R.
Wow the strand is amazing. A lot of space to chill, ride your bike, skate board, take photos etc... it’s even better at night when everything is lit up👏

A. S.
Beautiful views.. Busy riverfront.. Clean Mersey river
A. F.
Nice place but was starting to be the hang out for all the local gangs. Probably really nice during the day.
T. B.
Iconic buildings, in good condition and being renovated. Museum cafe served excellent food. The shops close by were well done too - exceeded my expectations of what I though Liverpool would be like.
S. C.
One of the best places in the world
P. a. C.
Went to the Riverfront Festival on Sat 1st June 2019. Had a great family day out. A really diverse event with great live performances and attractions.
B.
Not been for a while went up on our bike had changed a lot to me new paths and paths being added or repaired
Some lovely views along the way
H. D.
Its visually stunning especially when it's a little cloudy and the rain on the cobbles brought a great photo opportunity, really atmospheric and almost takes you back to your childhood standing and watching the ferry ⛴.
D. F.
One of the favourite places of Liverpool we can go not only from time to time, but everyday. Some good spots to fish, 8 km of a boardwalk to walk, ride your bike, take your puppy, not to mention play with your kids. Wonderful sceneries for photography, specialty at sunrise and incredible sunsets. Some boats also but not many as the Mersey river deserves.
M. E.
Great place to visit either to sit and watch the river views, ride the ferry or take part in the special events that are often at the Pier Head. A good place to visit if on a low budget plenty of seating to eat your picnic.
K. M.
Nice views.

Great time at Christmas 😊
G. J.
Very exciting wonderful place.Beautiful! Needs to be on everyone's must see list!Iconic Buildings Great For Tourists.Amazing architecture and great time visiting the Beatles cavern.
L. A.
We'll worth a visit. There's the Beatles statue, a really scary fun fare in the evening and some light and sound shows. The light show is spiders on the Cunard building is a must see.
J.
Nice walk along the waterfront clean and tidy with nice wide walkways and some lovely buildings, great for cyclists. Plenty of shops, bars and restaurents, or take the opportunity to catch the ferry across the mersey, pick up a bus tour around Liverpool or visit some of the museums all on the waterfront.
J. W.
Photos of Liverpool waterfront from the mersey ferry.
L. J. u.
Just do it, no excuse, you'll love it 😊
J. T.
There's nowhere else like it! Beautiful architecture, culture, unique people. You will know you've been as will never forget it.
D. E.
Lovely walk or bike ride. On certain days you can see dolphins swimming in the Mersey. Good for fishing and plenty of places to sit and places to eat and drink.
j. c.
Outstanding world heritage site, A must visit. Stunning buildings, wonderful water front, fantastic shopping experience. Very friendly locals. Plenty of places to eat and drink, catering for all tastes. Great history, You will not be disappointed. Go and visit Liverpool.
s. h.
Fabulous place to visit. You can enjoy a lot of great view over there, especially at evening. Beware if you want to take ferry - get there early if you want to take a round trip back to here ( before 3 pm, if my memory serves me well )
K. G. T.
They've added a load ore attractions this year, which will be seasonal. Really great place to take the kids, they've had loads of events on too. Gets a bit pricey but fun.
R. G.
One of the world's greatest waterfronts. Not to be missed. The three graces are truly magnificent buildings. Pieced together with a fantastic modern museum and the Albert Dock which incorporates the tate......There is lots to see and do with plenty of great places to eat.
S. J.
Fireworks and light festival where great!
N. D.
Love this place! Been to Museum of Liverpool and the Maritime museum several times. The buildings in this area are beautiful, especially The Three Graces. Big attraction for me though are the Liver Birds atop the Liver Building and the Mersey Ferry.
I. J.
Lovely place dose the city of Liverpool a great honor
D. C.
Lovely surrounding in a historic setting
p.
Always a good day out and lots to do
D. T.
The Liverpool waterfront is always worth a visit but in the sun it's a great place to chill. There are bars within walking distance and there is a roof top bar in the restaurant on the pier head itself. You don't have to eat to have a drink.
P. M.
Liverpool's waterfront is one of the most attractive waterfronts in the world with our three Graces the Liver building .the Cunard building .and the Port of Liverpool building all are World Heritage .Buildings .and the view is Breathtaking .I Have been to many Ports in the world and Liverpool's waterfront is outstanding compared to most of them even better than Monaco and New York and it always makes me feel proud to come home if you have travelled you will know and if you haven't just take a trip on the Mersey ferries and you can see the port in all it's glory 👍
b.
The once majestic and splendid world heritage site three Grace's now sullied by utterly tasteless and unimaginative architectural acne. Someone took a bung allowing this rubbish to be erected. Ruined this wonderful skyline.
I. O.
It's so nice down at the waterfront now makes a nice day out when the suns shining. I always walk from lime street only takes about 20mins. It's kept really clean and tidy too.
R. F.
Fantastic views of the River Mersey, the iconic buildings and the Wirral.
P. P.
Absolutely brilliant , just not enough time to explore the area properly , so now looking into having a few days down here PS. We did the official " Beatles Tour " it was terrific and great value for money
N. W. t.
Very nice
C. L.
Nice place to visit with great photo opportunities and excellent architecture all around. There are a lot of events held here throughout the year so check for anything you might fancy!
S. B.
This place is both beautiful and scenic but also historic and cultural. There is always something going on somewhere whether it's the Pier Head or the Albert Dock. There are great places to eat and drink at various price ranges and some good night life venues and places to stay.
J. B.
This is local to me and a perfect place for a nice stroll or even just sit down and relax
S. G. B.
Nicely place to walking. There are some attractions for kids, also for adults. There you can see the Beatles monument. Also Liverpool museum . Which have in these days a John Lennon and Yoko Ono exhibition, with lots of pictures, documentation, videos, furniture, etc. It's very interesting to take a breath and enjoy. And hear again Lennon's voice.
m. h.
Very nice to walk around and totally different as the sun set's
D. H.
A relaxed atmosphere, and thoughtful restoration (there's no denial of the darker side of the otherwise glorious history represented here) with a careful mix of old and new made this an awe-inspiring and entertaining stroll (helped, no doubt by the pride and enthusiasm of my local hosts).
J. R. (.
A great space just the right distance from the shops, when there isn't an event on its a good spot to sit and relax. Often the space is used by the city as the centre point for various festivals and events. It was well designed for this purpose and the long waterfront Park allows for a lot of people to see and hear either a stage at one end, or to see the river, when something is sailing, waving or speeding on the water or soaring, whizzing or exploding in the sky above.
g.
Lovely water front and lovely views of liver birds and yes it true if they fly away the streets will flood and it goes under but hopefully that won't happen, there lots of thing to do :
Cruise Liners port,
Merseyside Ferries,
The Beatles story,
The Three Grace's,
Underwater Street,
Museum of Liverpool,
Open Eye Gallery,
And there's lots more thing for you to fine.
D. N.
Bit of a mess, to be honest. Old buildings, new buildings (of controversial looks), plus LOADS of pop-up cafes, bars, food shacks, fairground rides. Too much stuff, too many people, and no coherent order make it a bit of a Liverpool theme park now. Must see, of course, but perhaps better in off-season.
B. C.
Lovely views
S. E.
What's not to live about the Liverpool waterfront. If you've never been, what are you doing? Get yourself down there. Your won't be disappointed. It's stunning, and what better way to take it all in than a trip on the famous ferry?
m.
Wonderful place to live and visit
C. K.
Great lively city. Love it
A. R.
E. D.
Best City in the world, Best people in the world, Best football team in the WORLD. Need I say more.
M. F.
Lovely combination of historic and modern buildings. Perfectly designed to complement each other. Walks along the waterfront are amazing in the summer months. Waterfront connects to the Albert Dock area. Views look over the River Mersey.
M. W.
We were here on an overcast December morning so it was not how it would be in summer sunshine. Nonetheless, interesting and great architecture. An important part of the seagoing history of Merseyside's capital city.
P. O.
The waterfront has loads to do if you like museums and art galleries. There are various cafes and restaurants as well. Mostly wheelchair accessible.
A. R.
Liverpool is a great place to visit. Lots to see and do. The Waterfront had all manner of market stalls and fairground rides, very enjoyable and made part of a great day out.
C. 1.
Beautiful refreshing and picturesque
j. d.
Fabulous historic buildings in wonderful location.
M.
Great day a mixture of maritime, modern and historical architecture. Add great places to eat and drink and a good dose of culture you won't be disappointed.
c. r.
Absolutely loved our family trip to the waterfront. Fairground rides for the children , ice rink & ice slide. Not to mention the great food & drink stalls in a mini xmas market. 👍
d. m.
Beautiful front.the cafe a must visit.also visit the building with the liver birds on water street..an exact replica of a new York street. Don't forget to do the city tour which starts from the sea front.also the Merseyside ferry is available here as well
S. B.
Beautiful !!
R. B.
Quite an open space with plenty of benches and resting points. Great views over the Mersey and of the Three Graces. A selection of cafés and bars around the waterfront and docks makes it a nice place to spend an afternoon catching up with friends
L. O.
Brilliant Day out made even better by being lucky enough to go on the Prince of Wales aircraft carrier. You just can't beat Liverpool for a day or night out. Plenty to see & do for every age. Liverpool is just the best place ever ❤
R. S.
Ice skating and fair ground rides. Bit expensive but great fun.
J. N.
A lovely clean place with lots of attractions
S. L.
Went to the Ice festival rides and attractions befor Christmas. Had an amazing time ice skating with my 4 year old and taking my 18 month old on some of the rides.
It is also lovely to walk along in the summer looking at the boats and enjoying the local views. Will definitely be visiting again soon.
J.
Great vibrant place to visit !
S. B.
Beautiful buildings. Interesting old docks. Museums. Food outlets. Cruise liner terminal. Watch the ships on the river. Go for a trip on the Mersey ferries.
G. M.
WOW! One of the best river fronts IN THE WORLD 😍 The face of Liverpool
M. K.
We visited the Waterfront during a festival weekend. Plenty pop up beer and food stalls with live music. Also there was entertainment from a group of students on a barge which was a laugh.
R. W.
Plenty of things to do . Including the ferry across the Mersey. This beautiful waterfront has been revamped and there are plenty of shops and restaurants. I will be going back
G. C.
Really enjoyed the area a lot. Travelled during the bank holiday and it was truly stunning. Love the Beatles statue and the atmosphere everything around just bring you joy.
J. a.
Parked at Albert docks, 3 hours for 5 quid. So much to see, free museums, old ships, old ice cream vans, old and new buildings, the iconic landmarks, big wheel, reasonably priced food, lots of places to eat and drink, easy walking, quite flat, we ran iout of time, my boys were disappointed we didn't have time to see all of the maritime museum. more parking over the main road.
V. H.
Had a lovely stroll here before taking a ferry ride from the Pier Head. The waterfront buildings are magnificent, the classical architecture of the Three Graces contrasting with gleaming high-rise hotels. Although the promenade was very busy there's plenty of space to walk, and it was amazingly clean and free of litter. Love the statues and the quirky animal artworks, the view across the Mersey and listening to the chimes of the Liver Building clock. There are cafes and refreshment stalls, and some interesting museums close by.
R. F.
I love working on the pierhead looking after the build up and take out of the events that goes on,watching the ferry's coming in and the liners hearing the charms from the clock on the liver building and view a cross the Mersey is amazing
A. K.
A hive of activity with so much to take in. It is
the perfect place to just relax and revel in the abundant historical experience.
M. A.
Fantastic waterfront, always look up, some of the best buildings in the world
M. P.
Liverpool, England - A photogenic city.
M. M.
Mainly giving it 5 stars for the "Fab Four" sculpture, fabulous icon buildings and pier head (catch the Ferry across the Mersey) and for me the Cunard statue that my Grandfather worked on as a master stonemason.
J. T.
Had a lovely time. Well worth a visit. Great views. Very clean and lots of things to do.
J. H.
Had a lovely day with my daughter and 5 grandchildren yesterday. First we visited the Liverpool Museum the kids, my daughter and myself had a brilliant time. Then a lovely walk along to car kids had picture taken with the beatles statue ice creams for kids including my daughter made it a perfect day. I love my city and now the pier head reminds me of when I was a kid. Well done
S. J.
What a place to visit - greatvibe
M. A.
Highly recommended for a city break very clean lots to see and do and extremely friendly people
T. H.
Simply stunning, especially on a warm summers day when you can look across the river or have a beverage or two on one of the terraces. The world-famous "Three Graces" make this setting exceptionally special.
M. C.
Excellent day out on the Pier Head. Funfair for kids and plenty of stalls. Food and drink available till 7pm. Only downside was that there were no public toilets after 5pm
R. M.
UNESCO world heritage site with beautiful architecture and wonderful museums. Plenty to see and lots of great restaurants nearby.
R. S.

L. C.
Nice place to walk, good museums
J. O.
Queens Mery 2
A. G.
OK, it's awesome on the outside, especially in the summer sun. The insides are even more spectacular. The Port of Liverpool building has a Medici level central hall, in keeping with the exterior; the Cunard building is impressive but restrained. Then there's the Liver building. ....
G. C.
Super development of the waterfront to include innovative seating, Leeds/Liverpool canal connection beteeen Mersey river and Albert Dock. Stand with the Beatles' statues, explore thd Albert Dock and great views across the Mersey. Great place to see so many historic buildings
A. M. (.
Great place to visit for a day out so long as the weather is warm and sunny. Scenic walk lots of food and ice cream places throughout the strip.
P. L.
World Heritage. See The Three Graces. Feel and absorb the history. Two excellent museums, a great art gallery, some shops, and places to eat.
J. M.
Lovely day out. Very interesting buildings and history. Very good museums all free. Great waterfront
F. L.
This is an interesting place with many things to see and places to eat but the Royal Albert Dock is not very good for people in wheelchairs because of all the cobbles which means the ride can be very uncomfortable if you have certain disabilities
S. D.
Thank you GOD ,amazing place.
J. B.
Usually you can't go wrong visiting the Pier Head for views of the River Mersey, the ferries, the three graces, fresh air and a focal point for Scouse culture.
p. e.
Liverpool water front is pretty cool it's certainly a place to visit if you have not been, always something going on from fun fares to open air events ! Looks great after dark all lit up and if your using public transport the James Street train station is 2 min away from the water front
A. C.
Love to stroll along here & check out the shops/restaurants as there is a good choice. The gallery's are very good too.
Overall plenty to see & do.
J. T. M.
Love the liverpool waterfront, great for a nice walk bike ride, lots to see or just sit and relax by the canal, the 3 graces the Albert dock the prom all very compact and easy to walk plus there's usually something going on.

J. G.
Excellent venue for day trippers. Loads to see and do. Eateries shops restaurants bars entertainment museums, boats and ferries with beautiful views across the mersey
S. B.
Stunning walk on a nice day!
J. R.
Arrived in Liverpool to see Queen Mary 2 in the cruise berth. Lots of people about. We were lucky to find a parking space opposite the appropriately named Cunard building. A glorious sunny day had brought plenty of people out. 2 bacon balms and hot chocolates and we felt very relaxed listening to a music twosome singing Beatles songs.
A. C.
Clearly millions of pounds have been spent in refurbishing the waterfront buildings. Quite a small area which is very popular with tourist and people off the cruise ships.
J. J.
Brilliant day out. Lots to do.
J. W. C.
Nice place to stroll along Merseyside. If you're a Beatles fan, there's a bigger than life sized statue of the boys. If your tastes are more imperial, there's an equestrian statue of Edward VII. Don't miss the Liver Birds at the top of the Royal Liver building.
A. “. D.
By far the best waterfront I’ve been to, lovely place to be and aswell visit, a lot of things to do on the front should as restaurants, museums, bars, wheel, ferry etc.
I. S.
Love Liverpool waterfront. The beautiful 3 Graces, the views over the river the Royal Albert Dock, museums and galleries right next door. Can't do better than that 👍🏻
b. B.
a world famous heritage site, new additions such as museum, and the waterway for barges etc, se the big cruise ships dock here too, the view of Liverpool waterfront is a sight in my opinion up there with new york
J. S.
Awesome day out
A. E.
Great spot to see you the Beatles statue, big boats coming in to dock and the museum! Can be abit windy but I that's half the fun!
A. L.
Nice to walk along the front, and take in the Albert Docks. Also if you get the chance pre- book tickets to go in the Beatles Experience.
G. W.
interesting visit really enjoyed only problem some of the lights on smaller exhibits weren't working so we're gard ro see. but still very good
R. F.
Lovely place to walk, unwind and see. Feels far from the big city, despite being just next to it. Culture and history, mixed with the modern.
C. W.
Really nice area, lots of museums and restaurants etc great views of The Wirral and The Mersey. The odd bronze sculpture is dotted about. Nice open space.
C. C.
Always an amazing place to visit, but went to see Red Bull Drift Shifters there today, awesome venue for a circuit with the 3 Graces as a backdrop 😀
N. M.
Ever since Liverpool was awarded Capital of Culture back in 2008, the waterfront has improved year on year. Well worth a visit.
M. “. M.
I mostly go when the big events are hosted, it is very busy but even so, since it's refurbishment it is a very nice place to be.
R. B.
Breathtaking! Incredible what they did with the wharfs. It's become such a beautiful cultural city, with museums and incredible shopping and nightlife.
s. h.
Lovely place to walk. They also do a bus hop on hop off service which is a great way to see the city.
J. W.
I come from here so my view is one sided. And I will always love Liverpool no matter where I go. It is a good place to visit. Nice people. Worth the visit.

I love Liverpool and it's waterfront.
So much to do.
Plenty of permanent attractions and the museum, ferry, amusement park, maritime history exhibit, are all great.
N. U.
Good place for a stroll, nice view of the Mersey/Wirral. I think when there aren't summer/winter fairs, it would be better if there were more shops/cafés along there
A. G.
This place is a must in Liverpool. BEAUTIFUL PLACE.
A. “.
The Liverpool waterfront is recognised as one of the top waterfronts in the world, a UNESCO site, fantastic 3 graces buildings, the Albert Dock, and now cutting edge modern architecture housing free museums and always something going on.... Not forgetting the famous Mersey ferries.
J. K.
Nice little fair for the children. Great museum. On the pier head, nice views of the river and Liners, plenty of tourists.
R. F.
Didn't seem very busy. We went ice skating which was fairly expensive for 45 minutes and a lot harder to do than when I was younger!
W. T.
Nice for a lunch time walk
B. M.
Great free place to visit or relax. Numerous places to get a drink and some parking. Blustery in winter but great views over the river.
C. B.
The summer funfair was ACE loads of music and loads for adults too. There are 2 big bars with Djs and heaters, really good vibe down there and the best cocktail I've ever had! Sour mango caprhini I think... Lovely!
R. C.
Great place with lots of history. Look forward to seeing Road improvement changes when finished
m. m.
One of the most beautiful sunset
F. F.
A lovely way to spend a sunny day
P. J.
Fantastic building. Spectacular place to visit
J.
A nice day near the water. There's a museum and the statue of Beatles to take a pic..greenary..options to have a baguette, ice cream or both? :). Have cider near the waterfront...sit in the Liverpool eye, shop...what more would you want from a day out?
D. 7.
Pier head is now iconic. 30 years ago it was rundown and drab. Great to see the transformation and the fact it is being appreciated for the wonderful place it is.
K. B.
Has a great Beatles statue!
K. S.
Beautiful area that isn't too crazy crowded. Between the Beatles statue, the three Graces and the ferry, it was a fantastic time!
V. C.
On our way to IOM

D. G.
I always went on the ferrys when i was younger to Newbrighton in the 60s LOVED It THERE would spend ALL day in the outdoor FAIR but would go to the INDOOR FAIR when it was raining anfd sometimes the outdoor swimming pool
J. B.
Was a tourist in my Liverpool home and read all the statues at the Pier head instead of just walking past them, fascinating
N. B.
Oh come on, who doesn’t love Liverpool waterfront, looking out over the Mersey toward the Wirral, especially on a nice day.
The bike ride along the entire length of the promenade from Garson Otterspool Prom to the city centre is a real treat.
M. B.
A awesome walk around the old docks. You'll need to work hard to reimagine the true grit and graft that occured here in service of the Commerce. The rough edges have been smoothed forntourist and dullard health and safety officer comfort. Try out the donation-only recreation of the authentic 1940s house, in the old dock managers office, just south of the museum.
A. D.
Great place to visit, lots of places to see, we had a great time & will go back
G. B.
Fantastic waterfront, shops, bars food outlets , fun fair & children's activities. Mersey ferry terminal & Albert Dock, a highlight of a trip to Liverpool. Also, The Beatles Experience & shop & Beatles Statue

Love this area, nice for a leisurely walk. Some excellent museums, shops & eateries.
P. B.
Very exciting wonderful place also river crossing ferry cross the mersey brought back 60S memorys for me and my sister what a weekend enjoyed it earnestly
C.
There is no better, chilled, stunning or more beautiful waterfront in the UK than the Three Graces and the Albert Docks. Just go for a walk down the waterfront and be amongst the history and the architecture from the redbrick buildings of the Docks, the modern design of the Museum of Liverpool, the picture-esque views of the Three Graces and the peaceful views out into the Mersey from the pierhead. Would highly recommend getting a ferry across the Mersey and simply look back onto liverpool from the middle of the River to take in not just the Waterfront but the City as a whole. There is not a better view in my opinion and to take it all in is so satisfying and moving to look upon.
R. H.
Liverpool waterfront is always worth a visit! its stunning both during day and night and there is always some sort of cool event going on
D. A.
Great place!!
J. 5.
A beautiful historic place with lots to do and enjoy. I love my city
J. M.
The most beautiful place to chill with the kids. Museums, ferry's, restaurants and cafes. Just love it
S. G.
Liverpool's waterfront and the 3 Grace's is a world heritage site. So called after the mythological Greek 'Three Graces', who were the goddesses of charm, beauty, and creativity. There are 2 liver birds on top of the Liver Building, one is said to look over the city to protect the sailors wives, and one looking out to sea to for incoming ships. Its said to be a sight for sore eyes for returning sailors. Well worth a a trip wether you're visiting or a resident.
K. S.
There is so much history at the location, humbled to be able to visit the area to be inspired by Liverpools hard work over many generations.
P. C.
It's really nice whether you want to be a tourist or just watch the river flow by. It includes the Tate, shops & food!
J. C. S.
A beautiful blustery waterfront with a variety of beautiful buildings and venues to visit, right from the Albert Dock to the Three Graces. If you fancy a view of the waterfront itself, head to Seacombe on the other side of the River Mersey.

Gorgeous! The Three Graces (Royal Liver Building, Cunard Building and Port of Liverpool Building) are spectacular - especially at sunset when the Portland Stone glows! There is a canal between them and the waterfront where you can sometimes see beautiful traditional barges sail through. There are also at least seven museums here within five minutes walk. Tate Liverpool, Mersey Maritime Museum, the Pop Music Museum (Cunard Building), The Beatles Story, The International Slavery Museum, The Museum of Liverpool and The Piermasters House
Don't forget to take a walk to William Brown Street however and see Liverpool's main museums - the World Museum with one of the biggest collections of Egyptian artifacts outside of Egypt, The Walker Art Gallery and St George's Hall.

Great Place, kids can have a run around between all the Museums, a full day out and the only cost was the parking £4

Love Pierhead. There is always a buzz about the place. There was a brilliant market the last time I went (end of August) and also a great little art gallery in a couple of shipping containers.
