Reviews of ActiveBacks

I've tried 10+ physios over the last few years, and Miles' treatment has been the best that I've received by far.
Active Backs have helped to relieve layers of biomechanical issues that I've been faced with for over three years, methodically providing solutions to each of the problems. NHS treatment and thousands spent on other physiotherapists have not helped me half as much as a couple of sessions with Miles.
Other physios would have you leave with feel-good treatment only to come back with pain a few days later. Miles has left me with genuine insight, solutions, and advice which I'll carry for the rest of my life.

Thanks to Miles I now have a neck that doesn't creak or crunch and I can turn my head further than has been possible for years. I also have a fully mobile (and stronger) shoulder, and a set of straightforward exercises to keep me that way; and no pain whatsoever which is wonderful! After just one manipulation session I noticed a real improvement .The treatment and advice was all delivered in a warm and friendly manner, and I was given a regular reassessment to check progress.
I would thoroughly recommend Miles to anyone suffering from painful or immobile joints or spinal or muscle problems.

From barely able to bend to tie my shoes, to a regular back at the gym – in under 6 weeks, what I have experienced at Active Backs is nothing short of incredible. Miles thoughtfully steered me through a combined programme of hands on manipulation, small incremental lifestyle changes, and stretching and strengthening homework, which were very specific to my areas of pain and attentively evolved alongside my progress. Best of all I now know how to keep things in good shape for the future, and the new version of me is working better than it has in a very long time.

I went here as a last resort. After 9 months of pain on my ankle and knee, which peaked shortly ago resulting in me not being able to walk in the morning, I found Activebacks. I am not a big spender, so knowing that this was so much a session left me dubious.
Doubts which disappeared after walking in. Miles gave me straight away hope that my problem could be fixed, and he was not "nice" like the other physios that I have seen before. He told me it would take time and work.
Needless to say, 5 weeks later, and I can walk with no pains. He literally fixed me from the foundations, and I will never be grateful enough. The reception is worth mentioning as well. They are available and helpful whenever needed.

I am someone who grew up doing a lot of extra-curricular exercises such as Athletics, Cricket, Squash, Hockey, Rugby to name a few. But with playing sports, especially Rugby, I have got my fair share of niggles, injures and muscle imbalances along the way, which needed to be addressed.
I have been to numerous physiotherapists who do deep sports massages — they would bring temporary relief, but would never address the root problems and only treat the symptoms. I believe in a proactive approach towards healthcare and its always frustrated me that the “quick fix” physiotherapy practices weren’t really addressing my root problems. I always left feeling better, but not right, if you understand what I mean.
But that changed when I finally decided go to a chiropractor and I chose ActiveBacks based on their specialised experience in sport injuries and rehabilitation. My first session with Miles Bosoni greatly exceeded my expectations. He was professional, precise and thorough during the consultation, but most importantly, he listened and empathised about my concerns. This is a characteristic that I rarely see in other practices and practitioners anymore and it was refreshing to see that from Miles.
He was able to quickly spot the root problems that was causing me discomfort in my back muscles and began a treatment/rehabilitation program — which has displayed good success. The only drawback is that it is a bit on the expensive side of things, especially if you are on a tight budget — but what you are getting in return is knowledgeable, experienced and professional who is looking to make you aware of your issues, treating them and educating you on how to get into the habit of moving correctly. Miles is actually invested in you getting back to being active and discomfort free on a long term basis, and I find that quite valuable.

Great office, super friendly receptionists and Andrew Martin is exceptional at his job. At the first consultation I immediately got the feeling that he was genuinely interested in helping me and giving me some answers to my problems. I wish there were more practitioners like Andrew in this world....so passionate about his job and his patients, so full of knowledge, so capable of seeing connections within the body and he does such an excellent job with the treatment and explaining, in simple words, how the body works and what the issues are. I can only complain about myself not booking an appointment with him years earlier. Thank you so much for your help :)

Mathew treated me with A.R.T for a couple of months and fixed my problem. I've since had ART with other practitioners in London and have to admit that Active backs is the best place for ART in London. The only reason I'm giving this place 4 starts (instead of 5) is because the prices are steep. Was it not for this I would stick with active backs all the time.

Very friendly and welcoming. Matt's knowledge is priceless. I injured my L5-S1 disc and was told by many "experts" that I would not be able to train again. Thanks to Matt I am now stronger than ever and have a much better understanding of my body and movement. Highly recommended 5 stars !! plus more!!

I came to London from Kuwait my name is yousif seeking treatment for my neck, spinal pain and hip pain that I have suffered with for five years as a result of a sports injury. I have tried different treatments but nothing worked. I came across activebacks and met with Miles Bosoni chiropractor and it was the best decision I took.
From the first day miles went through my medical history, reviewed my scans and catered a program specifically for me. He used the graftson method of treatment and I can honestly say it has helped eliminate a lot of the pain I have been experiencing and I was able to lift my arms above my head which I previously found intolerable to do. I can’t be thankful enough or happier.
I would highly recommend anyone who is suffering from neck, spinal, hope or muscle problems to go to miles at activebacks. I am planning my next trip to London a couple of months and will definitely be booking my appointments with miles to continue my treatment again.

Andrew is great, he really knows what's he's doing, not just doing a few back cracks that feel good at time like some others. Highly recommended.
