My husband ordered my roses for valentines day when he was out of the country as a surprise. As we lived in an apartment building the expectation was for the roses to be delivered to the door (these are flowers after all). However, it was delivered to the concierge and I had no idea until I checked my mail the next day. The roses by then was wilted and squashed as the concierge just kept them like any other package received. To add insult to injury, they were suppose to come with chocolates which never arrived. My husband raised a complain when I told him what happened, and the only compensation offered was for the missing chocolates to be delivered and a 20% discount for our next purchase with no offer to replace the wilting squashed flowers. We did get a sorry that this is not the experience they want for their customers, as much as that counts. What is the point of a 20% discount when no customer will come back after such an experience? the reason for 2 stars instead of one is their speedy response. I just don't think their response was good. Update: After their response I got in touch with them with the allocated reference number. They were very responsive and apologetic. They offered a replacement from any of their current collections regardless of price. In the end I got an amazing replacement which I'm in love with. Thank you for the replacement. This experience was definitely better than the last.

I received some flowers as a gift from a friend that sadly turned up damaged and dead. I emailed the customer service and got a response straight away. I sent images of the damaged flowers and without any questions they agreed to send me another fresh bunch. When my flowers arrived for the second time they were AMAZING. They had sent an even bigger bunch to compensate for the disappointment of the first bunch. Customer service is 5 star and the second bouquet was faultless. Thank you so much!

Have used Arena Flowers for several years and always been happy with them. My last order was delivered as always on the correct date but there was, unknown to me, three broken stems. The recipient emailed the florist/delivery firm re problem and within two working days an upgraded bouquet was delivered. My first knowledge was an email to say delivery had taken place so I checked my account and saw the FREE order/delivery. I think this is great customer service.

I have been following the Arena Flowers twitter account for a while now as it is hilarious, irreverent and makes the internet a better place, so when valentines day came around I knew where I would be ordering from and I am very glad I did. I starting using Arena Flowers back in 2008, living in the USA I found it to be by far the easiest option (with the best selection) to send flowers to my family in the UK. Since then I have used them every single year without fail and I am as happy with them today as I was when I first came across them 8 years ago. Their flowers are always delivered on time, my mom always comments on the great packaging and they always look as good if not better than the photos. I am extremely happy with them, I have only had to use the customer service once and they were Super helpful which just made my experience that much better. Update: Upon writing my original review, Arena flowers got in touch with me and explained that more than likely, the flowers had perished in the Caribbean heat the UK has been experiencing. With an apology they sent the most beautiful flowers. My pregnant wife (who I originally bought these for) can't stop smiling. ################################################### Not sure if I had done something wrong but followed the instructions on the box. I have also had flowers before but these did not last at all. I got flowers delivered on the 21st July and by the 28th only less than a handful blossomed, the rest just went black and crumbled and died. Not happy with the flowers and don't think I will be reordering...I've had Tesco flowers that have lasted longer so don't think it is something that I've done wrong. Delivery however was easy and great, very informed and on time.

I've now ordered several different bouquets from Arena, for various loved ones on quite a few occasions & I have to say that so far, I have been very impressed with their quality & service. On each occasion I have received a text message informing me what time they would be delivered & they have never been late & have usually delivered quite early in the morning on the day I requested. Without exception, the bouquets have always been very fresh, with either just opening or still closed & about to open flowers. The only slight gripe I have is that Amazon should not be able to offer a better deal on the same bouquets, from the same company. It's not exactly encouraging to see a message appear at the top of my computer screen telling me I can buy the same flowers from Arena cheaper if I buy them on Amazon than if I continue with the purchase on Arena's own site. This makes no sense to me & it doesn't exactly encourage customer loyalty. Another suggestion I'd like to make is, I'd like to see loyalty rewarded. The only rewards seem to be for customer referrals, which seems somewhat disrespectful & discourages repeat custom. I think an offer of reward for multiple repeat purchases would encourage more people to return to Arena for flowers & gifts. Just an idea Arena.

I can only comment on Service at this stage, but I am extremely unhappy with my experience with Arena Flowers. I am living in New Zealand and last week I organised a bouquet of flowers for my partners birthday, who is currently in London. Delivery was organised for the following Monday and I was told that there would be an email confirmation of delivery. My partner stayed home that day, but the delivery (or even an explanatory email) never came. Because the flowers were supposed to be a surprise, I had to look into this myself. The delivery had been returned to the depot claiming the address was too hard to find (a quick Google search brings up the house, with front door plainly visible). At this point emails were sent to both Arena and DPD (couriers) asking for delivery to be attempted again, reconfirming the address and providing it's location in Google maps. I received no response, and the following day, the flowers were once again not delivered. At this point I am extremely concerned that the 10kg, $100+ bouquet of flowers I've paid for are sitting out of water at some depot. It is now Wednesday, and because my emails have been ignored, my partner has had to contact the courier company herself to request the delivery of the flowers. This has completely ruined the surprise and experience of being confronted with a beautiful arrangement at her front door. A lot of this is DPD couriers fault, but as Arena have chosen them to represent the delivery aspect of their company, and then neglected to contact me or even reply to my emails, they are equally to blame. Arena seem to get it right some of the time, but judging from the reviews I've read delivery issues are a serious ongoing problem. I would recommend that people looking to send flowers to loved ones from overseas use a different company. This entire experience has been one of frustration and disappointment for both of us. Now that the birthday surprise is ruined, we can only hope that the flowers will eventually arrive in good condition. EDIT* The flowers arrived Wednesday lunchtime and were "The best flowers she's ever received" and even made her cry... which is good I guess! With that in mind, I am still unhappy about the apparent lack of help from Arena Flowers when the delivery was late. They are running a flower company.. they supply flowers for occasions - funeral, birthdays, weddings... it is IMPERATIVE that things are delivered on time, and certainly warrants an apology when things do not go to plan. This will not be the last time I surprise my partner with flowers, but it will be the last time I use Arena Flowers.

These were the large bunch, and although don't look much here bare in mind they still need to open up to reveal all their beautiful glory. Got the vase too.
