Reviews of Bridge to Health Osteopaths

Couldn't reccomend this place enough. I suffer from fibromyalgia and 2 of the great people working here saved me. Sian (osteopath) that I've been seeing for 3 years now and Barbara (acupuncture) who I only started seeing 4 months ago but what a difference it has made! Was a bit sceptic about acupuncture but Barbara's knowledge makes you feel comfortable and reassured.
These ladies will definitely help you with what you need.

Incredible team of osteopaths. I have multiple back issues including, a disc bulge, arthritis and onset osteoporosis. For me it is about managing my conditions so I can lead my life. I am now being treated by Mathieu who gets to the problems quickly in the clinic but also encourages everyday disciples so I become stronger. The difference in 3 months is very noticeable and to move around with little and sometimes no pain is life changing. Mathieu is direct and honest and is interested in my rehabilitation long term - no nonsense advice and very encouraging. I’m looking forward to including rehabilitation pilates at the clinic as suggested. After years of back issues, Bridge to Health is showing me how to take responsibility for my own wellness - there is no quick fix for me but the treatments, advice and encouragement are setting me up for long term health and good mobility. Very grateful that this practice was recommended to me and that I have Mathieu on my side! Thank you Mathieu!

I went to Bridge to Health after suffering for about 10 days with acute pain in my lower back. I booked with Sian Smith, an osteopath, who worked absolute wonders. I was feeling rather desperate with limited movement and little sleep. I was given a thorough assessment and first class treatment and sent away with some stretches. I could feel the treatment kick in within days and with only one follow up appointment, I'm nearly myself again. I couldn't recommend Sian enough and the prices are really competitive. It was a real life saver. THANK YOU.

I came to see Mathieu earlier in the year with a lower back issue that was causing me a lot of pain. He immediately identified the problem and after one treatment I felt a huge improvement, and after three treatments I felt restored! I really like the way that Mathieu takes a 'whole-person' approach and has empowered me to make changes to my lifestyle (such as my working from home set up and suggested exercises), to help avoid the problem happening again. He does all of this with great humour and kindness. On Mathieu's recommendation I am now taking Pilates classes with Jenny and finding them very beneficial. I would have no hesitation in recommending Mathieu and his team at Bridge to Health.

I have been treated by Matthieu at Bridge to Health for several years, for many different issues including neck and shoulder tension, back pain and sciatica. He is professional, extremely knowledgeable and sympathetic. He consistently provides swift remediation to my problematic areas and I always leave the practice feeling much relief. He always offers useful advice and exercises to manage my conditions. He has, throughout the pandemic, maintained high stringent hygiene practices and have felt very safe attending appointments which is important to me as I care for a extremely vulnerable family member. Highly recommend Matthieu and the staff at Bridge to Health services.

I have visited Bridge to Health Osteopaths on two occasions over the last 4 months being seen by
Mathieu Rossano each time. I continue to appreciate the professional and skilled treatment which has greatly assisting my hip and neck/back issues. The recommended exercises are easy to incorporate into a busy day. The clinic has very clear guidelines when visiting during the pandemic and the covid compliance with checking the health of visitors through to the sanitisation and safeguarding of visitors and staff is excellent. Highly recommended.

Fantastic team, I’ve been treated by both Daman and Nicolas who are super easy to talk to, make you feel relaxed and comfortable, consummate professionals whilst being approachable and chatty if you want :) would and have recommended to many people!!

I have been seeing Mathieu at Bridge to Health for several years, and I have recommended him to my family and friends. I find that Mathieu caring and his skilled work helpful. He is one of the best osteopaths I have seen, and he can often identify the underlying causes and offer fixes in one or two sessions.
His office is also very professional, with Sue and Susan helping. I have also seen his colleague Sian once and find her very friendly and helpful as well.

I’ve been visiting Bridge to Health in Ealing for many years on and off as I have a few chronic msk conditions. During this time, I have switched and changed between their osteopaths depending on my own and their availability with no problem and without any compromise in the treatment provided which means the practice can provide treatment when I require rather than being dependent on one practitioner so giving plenty of options and means I can always get treatment quickly . I have always been treated with great expertise, care kindness compassion and most of all with the utmost skill. All the osteopaths at this practice are so highly skilled and passionate it is with confidence that you can book in with any of them as they clearly have been specially selected for their competence . I have always felt better very soon after a couple of sessions and there is never a pressure to continue with more sessions .More recently I have treated by Nick, Sian and Matthieu and would recommend any of them to anyone .I have a complex combination of conditions and it’s never fazed any of them . Each treatment session has been packed in with precision to get the optimum outcome in one session. This practice also offers the community a range of therapies to meet various needs of the community.I highly recommend Matthieu and his team to anyone .

I could hardly walk the first time I attended Mathieu's clinic - I was in constant pain and getting pretty depressed at the though of remaining that way. But over the course of two weeks Matthieu literally put me back together. His anatomy knowledge is second to none and his integrated understanding of how the body moves is very impressive. I have every confidence in Matthieu's ability to treat and maintain a healthy body. He is a marvel.

Highly recommend!
I attended the Ealing and Uxbridge clinics and I was seen by nearly the whole clinical team in the last 2 weeks (January 2020). I needed lymphatic drainage following a cosmetic procedure (liposuction). I started looking for an osteopath to help me before my surgery. Mathieu Rossano called me back without delay after I sent an email enquiring about lymphatic drainage. I was delighted that the clinic was able to provide me with all the sessions I needed. They were able to not only help with lymphatic drainage but also took a holistic approach as my posture wasn't great. Each day I visited they targeted the problem areas where I had swelling or discomfort. They were all very professional, took care to sanitise the space and made me feel safe and comfortable. Thank you for your help, advice and tips and for helping me speed up my recovery!

Great massage with Marialine! I have seen her for a few years and really appreciate how she communicates and tailors the massage to address any specific issues. I always leave feeling more flexible!

Mathieu came highly recommended to me by a friend. I have found him to be extremely professional, pragmatic, proficient, courteous and humorous. Aligned to his treatment as an Osteopath he has referred me to Marialine within the sports massage department to compliment his work. Similarly I have found her to be extremely intuitive and responsive in treating my injuries.
E. S.
Daman treated my hamstring and pelvis over a course of 6 weeks with tailored treatments and advice. He was very attentive and answered a lot of queries I had with ease. He is very passionate about his craft and I believe he is the best in his field. I have developed absolute trust in the way he works and I have recovered rapidly from a point where I had barely any mobility. I cannot recommend Daman enough, great charisma and attitude!

Dear All, I have been using Bridge To Health now for more than 10 years. Mathieu has supported me from a post spinal injury position through to full recovery and ongoing structural and general health. In my opinion, Mathieu is a born healer with deep kindness behind his motivations to help others be well. I have used dozens of Chiropractors and Osteopaths on my journey to full recovery and back to a fully active life. Without a doubt, the best support I have experienced including many practitioners in Australia and the USA, has been the care I have received from Bridge To Health. I would whole heartedly recommend using Bridge To Health on your personal journey to a more aware life when listening to your body and mind as one.

This is the most wonderful practice, I have been many times over the past few years with various issues and the care and attention to detail is second to none. I always feel that my overall well-being is looked after and cared for also. The staff are professional, thoughtful and just genuinely good people who want to help you. I would have absolutely no hesitation in highly recommending Mathieu and the team.

Extremely happy with the Bridge to Health. Daman, the osteopath is extremely knowledgeable with chronic pain conditions and I am very happy that I have been able to have his treatments. He is extremely skilled and pleasant and really good at listening which is a must for people with chronic pain conditions. Therefore, I have only had positive benefits without negative after effects. I would also recommend Adam for the sports massage which was an eye opener and give me an advice about plantar fasciitis. He us also really knowledgeable and skilled. Susan, the manager, is very pleasant and efficient. Really happy with Bridge to Health.

It was my first acupuncture appointment and Jackie was very professional, responsive and understanding. She took the time to make sure she understood my needs and that I was comfortable. She was very patient with me and considerate. 1.5 hours are required for the initial appointment, where a consultation is carried out.
I felt very well looked after and came out very happy. I highly recommend Jackie Graham, as she takes care in her work and is obviously very experienced and thorough.

After having a massage treatment with Marialine this week, I highly recommend her services. I felt invigorated and stress free afterwards and it has been many years since I have found a great massage therapist of such a high calibre. I have already booked in for another!

I found Bridge to Health in Ealing during my pregnancy which was God sent! I was 5 months pregnant at the time and could not sit, lie down or turn around in bed without being in excruciating pain due to a coccyx (tailbone) issue. I used an orthopaedic seat cushion which helped for pain relief while sitting, however after 1 session with Mathieu Rossano, I was able to sit and be mobile again with practically no pain. It was quite unbelievable but it's simply testament to a highly skilled professional. We identified the cause dating back to a horse riding fall when I was about 12 years old, which injured the coccyx and then some 28 years later manifested itself again during my pregnancy with the pressure from baby on a hooked coccyx. After a couple more sessions and manipulation, I felt we had totally fixed the issue and it did not bother me again during my pregnancy. I am so grateful for that. I highly value this clinic and would recommend it 100%

I can totally recommend Jackie Graham to anyone requiring or thinking of trying acupuncture. She has helped enormously with my knee pain and I was amazed at how effective it was after only a couple of appointments. My knees have felt a lot stronger and I look forward to seeing Jackie for the treatment. She is very kind, attentive, caring and a lovely person. I am so pleased I chose Jackie when I was looking for an acupuncturist.

When I began training in order to walk part of the Camino to Santiago de Compostela this autumn, a long standing hip problem developed into a painful limp. Feeling very disheartened about my walking prospects, I came to consult Matthieu Rossano. After only 4 weekly treatments, including manipulation, acupuncture, and targeted exercises, I am now walking up to 24 miles per week. Thank you. I can highly recommend this practice.

My first visit to Bridge to Health was after a weekend away where I did something to my back. I’ve no idea what, but suffice to say, I was in a large amount of pain and could barely walk. During that visit I was made to feel comfortable, I felt enormously confident in the osteopath's abilities and I was talked through and had things explained to me clearly. I was supported and – amazingly - I was essentially fixed there and then. I did literally walk in, in pain and when I left, I was a different person!
Since then, I visit every 3 months as an insurance policy above anything else. I get ‘straightened’ out, receive lifestyle hints and tips and get set on an even keel physically and mentally. I get massive value for money from my visits to Bridge to Health. I really cannot recommend them highly enough.

Finding a good osteopath is difficult. Luckily I crossed my path with Bridge to Health who takes a good care of me and my problems. Bridge to Health offers a holistic approach which allows me to treat each pain with specific skills and a know how in a trustful environment. I strongly recommend the team. Go ahead blindly, they are great, they will take care of you.

Jenny is my pilates instructor, for the last 8 weeks. In that time she has made the classes fun but has not let me take the easy options and I can only thank her for her patience and dedication to my lessons. If you are thinking of taking pilates I would highly recommend Jenny who teaches in a friendly and relaxed way.

I was introduced to Bridge to Health by fellow football / soccer referee.
I was in dire pain, eventhough I had undergone 24 sessions of shock therapy.
My osteopath is named Harry Rogers.
I am now on my feet and able to jog and walk normally. My sciatic nerve pain is gradually fading and I am able to stretch with much ease.
I've found Harry to be a true professional, capable and passionate about helping people like me get back on our feet.
I would highly recommend Bridge to Health and more specifically Harry's knowledge and expertise will help you get back on your feet.
Believe you me I'll never give starts to my previous osteopaths / physios and clinics.

I attended the Bridge to Health clinic to see Mathieu after suffering for several years with increasingly painful lower back pain. Prior to our meeting I had received treatment from doctors, physiotherapists and personal trainers, with little or no positive result.
Mathieu managed to do what others had failed to achieve. He diagnosed the root cause of my lower back pain, which for me was an old shoulder injury, and created a series of treatments and exercises which have removed the pain and allowed me to maintain a pain free life.
As a business owner who spends a lot of time sitting at a desk, in front of a computer. Mathieu has had a major impact on my ability to continue to run and grow my business. I have no reservation in recommending him and his team.

An expert, caring team 100% recommended.
As an amateur runner, triathlete and violinist, I have been injured and out of alignment many times due to training and stresses of 21st century human life. Bridge to Health have a wonderfully caring, expert team who have been able to diagnose, treat and suggest corrective exercises for a number of musculoskeletal injuries that I have suffered over the years and calm the related anxieties that may accompany such physical pain . Their holistic, knowledgable, respectful approach and evident love for their profession makes them a most excellent team and I am extremely grateful for having been able to be treated by them.

I've been going to Mathieu for treatment for nearly 6 years - I've got a genetic connective tissue disorder which can cause severe hyperextension issues - and he's really helped relieve the symptoms. He's also been great at helping me understand what I can do myself and pointing me in the direction of better managing my illness and my treatment. I cannot recommend Bridge to Health highly enough!
F. M.
I have been seeing Mathieu four times a year for the past 6 years for the management of an existing back condition. Mathieu is very professional, credible, caring, compassionate, trustworthy and very knowledgeable in his field and is able to pinpoint the problem area very quickly and provide you with the relevant and effective treatment. I can't recommend him highly enough. I have also been seen by his colleague Harry who is also fantastic.
N. S.
Jackie is a highly professional & competent acupuncturist who has helped me to conceive my first baby & has helped me through out my pregnancy (morning sickness, sciatic nerve pain, improving energy levels). She is warm, kind & attentive & I can’t recommend her enough!

I was recommended Bridge to Health by a friend and now would recommend it myself. I went in with a niggling issue in my hand and after a couple of sessions with Mathieu, he was able to sort me out. He has an extensive knowledge of how the body works and I felt very safe throughout the session. Fantastic clinic in Ealing, with a natural take on how to look after your body.
A. 1.
The Team are fantastic ! Having used Osteo and other therapists over the years in West London - I can honestly say they are not a patch on Bridge to Health. If you want a trusted, professional, world class service - get in touch with Mathieu and his team. Cannot recommend them highly enough. Five stars.

I have visited both Sian Smith, the osteopath and Agnes, the massage therapist, at bridge to health.
I saw Sian for an Osteopath session and it was really good. She was friendly and listened to where I had issues and then carried out an examination. She identified where the issues originated (she looked at the body as a whole), especially muscles that were tight and pulling on my lower back muscles. She showed me exercise to stretch those muscles out. She also helped re-align my body and I left feeling much better.
I also saw Agnes for a deep tissue massage before my 3 peaks challenge. This was great to work through those tight muscles that needed to be released, especially before walking 23 miles up and down mountains! She also showed me how to use a foam roller to work through those muscles.
Definitely go and see them if you have any issues, no matter how small as important to find them before they become big issues, and some we aren't even aware of!
B. H.
I had a few niggling issues that I finally decided needed to be addressed. I'm quite body aware but I was very impressed with what Mathieu was able to tell me about the causes behind my symptoms. I had the utmost confidence is his knowledge and ability.
I was given a few simple exercises (less than 10 mins daily) and they are already making a big difference.
I would highly recommend Bridge to Health and I already have. My girlfriend is using their services as well.

I have been seeing Mathieu Rossano at BTH for over a year now I think - possibly longer! We both know this is quite a bit longer than we intended but I've had a prolonged period of initially excruciating elbow pain which started out as tennis elbow and then encompassed my shoulder. Latterly this became an extended problem with the lateral collateral ligament in my elbow. In fact I haven't completely finished sessions with Mathieu but we are ever so close to reaching that point. would say things have improved 100%. That doesn't mean everything is right but it is a honest assessment of the good that has been done me both the Mathieu and is to BTH's credit but also to the field of osteopathy. I'm in my (very!) early 50s and, ironically, have been playing tennis since about the age of 8 as well as some cricket still in the summer. I was a general all round sportsperson till about 15 years ago when back problems - which are now I'd say also are a 100% better - put an end to firstly running, and then football. My day job for over 28 years has involved computer keyboarding and vast amounts of words expended so not an ideal job by any stretch! I have discussed these issues and my background candidly with Mathieu and I have always found him to be engaging, clear and kind and supportive. I started on a journey nearly 2 years ago to try and continue with my two remaining sporting passions for at least another decade and Mathieu has very much been my guardian and mentor on that path which I so much - god willing and of course all other factors notwithstanding - want to achieve. I have not met any of the other practising staff at BTH though I have had contact on the phone often with the administrator who has also been unfailing kind and helpful.
All the best to Mathieu and BTH for a successful 2017 and beyond.
Amicalement

After a feeling ill for a few months I was diagnosed with having extreme raised liver count, high cholestoral and was on the cusp of having diabetes. This really scared me and after being a patient for back problems with Bridge to Health I decided to book an appointment with Emily Fawell the practice's nutritionist in Ealing.
She focused on my family history as well as the current diagnosis. We worked together for a few months and changed my lifestyle in terms of eating a different diet and taking a few appropriate supplements as well as introducing a bit more exercise.
I was having hospital scans and blood tests at the same time. After 6 months and results of scans and supplementary blood tests, I am now back into the acceptable range for all of my levels and have no signs of IBS which I had had for over 30 years. I am over a stone in weight lighter, my skin has returned to a nice smooth texture.
This has given me a new lease of life and I am grateful to Emily for her help.

I would highly recommend Bridge to Health. I started seeing Mathieu, an osteopath, in September and my back condition has improved dramatically since then. Bridge to Health also provides other services and everyone there is friendly and professional.

I would highly recommend Jackie, who has been treating me for my facial palsy with acupuncture and other techniques she is trained in. I have seen a great improvement in my symptoms. Jackie is very professional and her treatment room environment is very relaxing.
P. M. C.
I received from Agnes a 90-minute full body massage and facial and wanted to say how much I enjoyed this time.
With the warmth of her heart and the silkiness of her touch, Agnes offered me a 90-minute sensory trip to Southern France; I could picture this bright sunshine spreading over the scent of the wild plants, herbs and flowers. Very relaxing and comforting experience and I loved her little secret to activate my sense of smell with her products. Thank you very much Agnes Gaudron (Agnes Zen) for your generosity. Highly recommended.
R. D.
Jackie takes a holistic approach to the issue and both the acupuncture and her supplementary advice have been of great benefit to me. She is highly professional and thoughtful in her approach I would certainly recommend her.

THE ONLY place for caring and professional osteopathy! Golfer's elbow threatened to keep me off the fairway, but after some treatment , which included overcoming a needle phobia (acupuncture), I am able to play regularly again. Highly recommended! Stefan Anstis.

I would highly recommend Bridge to Health complimentary therapies clinic in Ealing and Uxbridge. I personally have been attending the clinic in Ealing for almost 2 years now. Though I do not suffer from any ailment, I believe that my quaterly visits to Mathieu Rossano (osteopath) help me to avoid problems in future (in older age). They offer other therapies as well, and I have heard only good responses from other people about this clinic.
V. K.
Great service, experienced professionals nice environment.
Having been a client at Bridge to Health, Ealing, for a few years now, and seen a number of the professionals there, I recommend the place for three reasons.
First, each person you might see is a professional, very conversant in their speciality.
Second, they all take a holistic approach to the body, aware of how their specialism might help, but also aware that it may not be sufficient and that therefore you may need to see someone else.
Third, despite this awareness, there is no hard sell. You are told of other offerings (time and conversation permitting), but it is entirely up to you as to whether you want to get additional support.
I have been going for a number of years now and will continue to do so. I cannot speak highly enough of the experiences I have had at Bridge to Health.
A. M.
I’ve been a client at BTH Ealing for over 5 years and couldn’t ask for a more professional, credible and caring team. I started going due to an injury but now aim to go once a quarter for maintenance, this helps prevent injury and corrects any bad posture habits. Really worth investing in this regularly to avoid injury and BTH is the place to go!
D. C.
Daman has been a game changer for me, located the main issue of my pain and worked with me to get me back to full fitness whilst keeping me informed along the way. I can't speak highly enough of everything Daman has done for me - highly recommend to anyone with any pain or niggles, Daman will get you back on track!
N. R.
I have been treated by Mathieu for two years now and can honestly say that it is the best decision I have ever made. The treatment was very successful for me. The whole team are professional, knowledgeable and caring and I cannot recommend them more.
S. S.
I've been seeing Matthieu for years, initially at the Uxbridge clinic and latterly at Ealing. He is highly professional and interested in treating the whole person rather than just the immediate symptoms. I particularly appreciate that he is able to modify his techniques to suit what works for me and my body. Highly recommended.
S. M.
I have been holding out getting my aching shoulders a look at for the past few years and I have never visited an Osteopath before. Sian was so welcoming and very knowledgeable about my symptoms. Sian suggested a few excercises and stretches that will help my shoulder pain. I will be visiting again! Thank you so much! X

I experienced a most wonderful lesson of the Alexander Technique with Lynsey Metcalf. I wasn't sure what to expect before I had met Lynsey, but she took time to explain the history, her training, 'thought before movement' and 'poise" of the head. And so, we moved on to the practical part of the lesson. Quite remarkable, and all my pre-conceptions were blown away. With the most delicate touch and movement my whole being was realigned in minutes. I have long been an advocate of all parts of the being having to be in balance for true wellbeing. In Lynsey I have found a skilled professional who seeks to achieve that. Fabulous.
C. J.
I highly recommend Bridge to Health. I’ve had great experiences and results in both osteopathy and sports massage there. Very professional.
C. L.
I will recommend this practise to friends and family with no hesitation. Bridge to health is a wonderful team of professionals that can help you to improve your health and lifestyle in many different ways.

Nutrition: Emily Fawell: You identified through Nutrigenomic testing the deficiencies in my health and advised specific diet and supplements required for my optimal health. The fog in my head has gone and I feel more energised, hence more productive. I’m motivated and mindful about good nutrition and exercise knowing I can return to you for future checks and updates. I feel safe in your hands - your knowledge on nutrition is exceptional. Thank you!
J. G.
A big thank you to Emily for finally getting to the bottom of the stomach problems which have been plaguing my daughter for the past 6 months. Turns out to be exactly what my daughter thought it was but was dismissed by the GP and treated for something different. Now we know what the problem is we can start to get it properly treated.

Harry has been looking after me for over 2 years now and I have always felt a huge relief as an athlete after every treatment. I cannot thank him enough for his dedication to keep me fit. Yaro at CompControl Ltd

Mathieu and his colleagues have helped me along the way massively. Can't rate them highly enough, and fully recommend Bridge to health to bring you back to speed.

Absolutely great ... totally looked after me and Harry knew exactly what was wrong and how to treat it.
I cannot recommend them enough
Really looking forward to my next session!

Will certainly recommend Jackie Graham to friends and family. Great treatment!

Great professionals, they made my life better. No more back pain.

(Translated) Mathieu is my osteopath since 2010 for recurrent back strain.
My stress settles there, and Mathieu has the art of loosening the knots, whether physical or even psychological.
He has established a real relationship of trust between us, and my sessions at his office are always cheerful and pleasant.
I leave his body relaxed and light-hearted.
I can not recommend his care that very warmly!
