Reviews of British Museum (Stop W)
I could visit the British Museum every day and see something I haven't seen before. It is fantastic, an absolute must see place.
Would definitely recommend checking this museum out, it puts things into perspective. If you are philosophical, chances are you will reflect that there were many nations greater, wealthier and more powerful than us, but they did not take their possessions with them and eventually came to an end. The most extraordinary gallery for me is the Islamic World, the pieces are exquisite and I find a calming feeling being there!
Putting aside the realisation that all of the artefacts have been taken from other countries, make the most of it while they are here! I doubt they’ll be returning them.
Closest tube is Tottenham Court Road and literally a 3 minute walk.
BETTER TO GO DURING THE WEEK NOT ON WEEKEND
Breath taking! A word of warning, you need all day!... A good day. Everywhere you look, history hits you! I only had 4 hours there and it wasn't enough. I'm going back with pleasure.
Awesome experience! Definitely the most crowded and known by tourists but still great for family outings.
I'd come me back every day if I could. Impressive collections from around the world. Simply spectacular!
Great bus stop, really fantastic and I've seen a few stops in my time

Nice place
Awesome place
Incredible
The British Museum is a mixed museum that contains historical artifacts from all over the world and from all cultures. It is so big that you only need to spend the day here and have a nice rest after the trip, and it is also a museum open to the public free of charge. The best part is that they categorize historical artifacts according to cultures and display those belonging to the same culture together. You can definitely see this in every room you enter. Among them, what caught my attention was the display of a Quran from the 14th century. As with every work, they have included an extensive explanation in this work, and I have specifically included this area for those who want to read it. Have a nice trip. :)
The most famous museum in the world. The rarest works from all over the world are exhibited here. Very striking. It makes you think very deeply. It's a good thing they didn't leave it there, it's displayed very well here. After all, it is the common heritage of humanity. And It's Free. Moreover, the WC is free. On top of that, hot water is flowing.
(Translated) Beautiful museum with free admission. To be seen.

Bellissimo museo con ingresso gratuito. Da vedere.
My favorite museum! In my opinion, it is much better than the Vatican Museum, both in terms of collection and price (the British Museum was free in 2016, at the same time that the Vatican charged 30 euros for admission). The British Museum is very rich in works from many different countries and regions. You need a lot of time to appreciate it in its entirety. I recommend it.
Excellent museum! There are lots of cool things to see, it's worth spending some time there. Very organized.
It is a museum created by stealing and collecting from all civilizations in history, but despite everything, it is definitely worth seeing.
Very interesting museum. Many many artifacts fro. All over the world. Somewhat concerning that these artifacts where taken from their orginal countries of origin. Puts a damper on so of the excitement of seeing the artifacts.
A warehouse-museum where the most important finds and ruins of almost all cultures and civilizations of prehistoric and historical ages were transported without the permission of the local or successor nations, for the benefit of the empire on whose horizon the sun never sets (and the people under its domination never see the light of day). Main memory...
It is one of London's MUST SEE museums! Even just to admire the historical finds studied so much at school, such as the Rosetta Stone and Cleopatra's mummy.
A paradise for museum lovers. One day is enough for a cursory look at the exhibits. You have to come back here several times. I recommend.
Beautiful museum with a lot to learn in an enjoyable way, passing through the rooms that interest you the most. It is worth going, without a doubt.
You cannot ignore this museum, it will captivate you with its different rooms. If possible, I recommend going during the week since it is too crowded on holidays.
One of the most beautiful museums in the world, very rich in culture, Mesopotamia, ancient Egypt...
One of the best museums I have ever seen, it is right up there with the Louvre...
Its Egyptian piece is unique.

History we must preserve
This place is outstanding. World class!! Costs nothing to come in but they ask for a donation which is fair enough. You could spend days in here!
Great place to visit, one day is not enough.
Visit the steppes for no more than two and a half hours.
Gorgeous collections from around the world
Rich cultural assets
Great museum
It has everything you want
Handsome
great
Fantastic
Not sure what I can say. This is one of the finest museums in the world. Definitely a testament to the age of empire with its vast collection of antiquities from just about every part of the world. Be prepared to spend several days here if you want to see what the museum has to offer. It's simply amazing!!!
The Greatest archaeological museum I have visited so far. Though not specialized and having better competitors in the different areas (the Roman museums in Rome and Naples are better for Roman History, the Cretan Museum is better for the Cretan civilization, etc.), this museum encompasses all Ancient Civilizations I am interested in and has gathered millions of findings uncovered by the numerous British expeditions in the Ancient Near East. It took me whole day just to pass quickly the Egyptian, Assyrian, Babylonian, Persian sections. One needs at least a week to cover all interesting objects and to read through the descriptions of the different findings. A place to return numerous times during the lifetime of any enlightened person ! Where else can someone find so grand finds, that have turned the science of mankind history like the Flood Tablet, the Rosetta stone, the palette of Narmer, the Akkadian, Sumerian and Assyrian cuneiform tables and so on and so forth.
A museum to be seen if you visit London. I especially recommend him who loves Egypt and ancient Greece. It also has a restaurant, so you can rest between several floors to see. The entrance is free of charge for everyone.
Jus amazing architecture...
