We used City Gas to replace our boiler in December 2014, including installation of a nest thermostat. From the first interaction with the company we were very impressed with the personal and professional service. The installers were friendly and very tidy, with the work carried out and finished to a very high standard. The new system was explained to us, and any questions we had answered clearly. The after service provided is impeccable, including the annual safety service. We had a recent query relating to documentation, which was dealt with without any hesitation and very quickly. I would certainly recommend City Gas. As soon as you contact them I am sure you will see for yourself the clear difference between them and other heating engineers and national providers such as British Gas.

This is a fantastic local company. They came 6 hours after I called for a free quote and then installed the boiler within 48 hours! The customer service in person and over the phone has been fantastically professional and efficient and it was ~900pounds cheaper than British Gas for identical specification.

Fantastic. My boiler stopped working completely in the middle of a cold spell in February, and City Gas Services were able to get someone out at short notice (called Friday, they came on Monday) to replace it. The price was reasonable, the engineers were knowledgeable, friendly and professional, and they got the work done quickly and tidied up afterwards. Highly recommended.

City Gas installed a new boiler in our rented property. They turned up on time for the initial appointment and gave us good advice, in language we could understand. The estimate was emailed to us promptly and although we had had a slightly cheaper quote from another company we went with City Gas because they gave us confidence that they would do a good job. And they did. The work was done on time, with no mess or fuss and the boiler is in the right position, working properly. They accommodated some last minute changes at our end very flexibly. The bill was exactly the same as the estimate. Steve was easy to contact as we could email him as well as phone him. What more could you ask for?

From the moment Steve arrived, he was professional, polite and we were assured that he knew exactly what we needed from our new boiler installation. His quotation was clear and precise and we could see exactly what was included. His team (Terry his son) turned up promptly each day and worked like trojans, leaving the house clean and tidy, ready for the next day. The Worcestor Bosch boiler was installed with minimum of mess and all work was carried out to perfection. Encountered problems after the installation but Steve was very quick to return and rectify the problems (which weren't specifically his fault but he didn't charge us for either). Would highly recommend - thanks Steve for an excellent service.

We had the worst situation I can imagine. It was at the beginning of December when we suddenly had a cold spell. Our old bolier was working sporadically so sometimes the house was warm, but mostly it was freezing. Coupled with 2 children who were not well and something needed to give. Well I called around for a replacement boiler and was either greeted with a high price or a date measured in months. City Gas sent their man that night, he spent a lot of time explaining my choices and at the end of it, it was a great price. Better than that their lead time was measured in daysWithin a week the installation was booked. On the day they turned up early and were a very professional crew. Thankfully they completed the whole job in one day (working through lunchtime) and it's been fantastic since.What better recommendation can I give than to thoroughly recommend City Gas and personally I'll be looking at the portfolio of other services they provide as they will be the first number I'll call when the need arises

These guys are fantastic. The quote was very competitive (much better than British Gas), the installation was smooth and effective and with no mess, and the after-sales support continues (after 2 years) to be great. Really a pleasure to do business with.
