I had a gift card to use and treated myself to a signature facial and gel peel. It was so good! I had to come beforehand to get a patch test, which certifies to the specialist that my skin won’t react negatively to the treatment. That went well, so on the day I arrived ready for the treatment, but was told that my patch was for dye and asked whether I’d like to opt for another add-on as I wouldn’t be able to get a gel peel. I was ticked off to say the least, and said I’d be willing to take the risk and get a gel peel regardless of whether or not my skin had been tested beforehand. That blip aside, I had a blast with the specialist. She was so kind to my skin & explained the entire process the whole way through. She also treated me to a hand and scalp massage, in addition to my facial. And wrote me up a prescription (aka step by step skincare guide for morning and night time) for me to take home.

I had an amazing massage by Marta! She really listened to my needs and focused on problem areas. So as well as applying good pressure to knots, her hands were also extremely relaxing. Just what I needed, thank you!

A really comfy and cozy place in the heart of a cute neighbourhood. I had the massage today, which was absolutely fabulous and comes with a complimentary hot beverage. The room temperature was warm, and I had my choice of scented oil. The only downside was that the treatment was downstairs. (Yes, London loves its basements). As such during my treatment I heard the constant stomping of either moving chairs and people walking upstairs. That was the reason I did not give this place 5 stars.

A pleasant enough facial but definitely overpriced. Spotlessly clean spa and a pleasant therapist however I was a little concerned when she told me she hadn't had the Covid vaccinations, especially given we were in a small room with a tightly closed door and she wasn't wearing a mask. For that reason and the price, only 3 stars.

Staff is friendly, I come here once in a while for eyebrows tinting/ tidying and the results are always impeccable. It is a bit more expensive than other places though. If you bring your partner they can order a coffee or drinks from the bar while waiting for you which is convenient. One thing That do not seem very relaxing to me are the mani/pedi and facial treatments that are done upstairs next to a hallway that let people go downstairs for their massages and other treatments. There is a lot of passing so it is quite noisy which breaks the relaxing atmosphère of the whole place. Luckily eyebrows treatments are done downstairs in private rooms so I always have a peaceful time.

I had to use up a Birthday voucher and I chose the Gel Pedicure (Normally £85 which is extortionate, and theres absolutely no amount of foot massage or nail colour worth this price) however Frederica my therapist was truly wonderful. Not only was the pedicure spot on, but she was extremely friendly, professional and personable. If you do end up going here then book her immediately but you might want to save your pennies!

I have stopped in a few times, cozy place with nice wood finishes. I only ordered a juice and cookie. The £4 juice came in a small bottle, not even freshly squeezed - pretty poor. The cookie was dry. I'll stop again and try the brunch, which seems decently priced and good options.

Had a 1hr bespoke body treatment and it was absolute bliss!!! The menu is expensive in comparison to what's available at other spas. But the service and products used are worth paying the extra.

What a fabulous experience! I had the Signature massage and the facial treatment and both were exceptional. I walked out of the spa on a cloud. The facial was thorough and left me feeling cleansed. The friendly staff, complimentary hot beverage and well-informed staff all made me feel cared for. I would advise not to drive there if you are staying over two hours during the day due to parking restrictions. Enjoy!

Was given a voucher as a gift and decided to do a signature massage. Overall the quality of the place was great. The room was clean and warm. The therapist was great. However, the front of house environment was a bit intimidating - not from the other guests but the staff were a bit cold. It felt like even going to pay was slightly an imposition. I would definitely come here for the treatments, but just prepare yourself for the front of house. Reading other reviews it seems like it's hit or miss, so perhaps I just caught it on a miss type of day.

I received a voucher as a Birthday gift and was excited to try Cowshed. I booked an ultimate manicure which is £60 it is an outrageous price for a manicure but as soon as I got there I thought this is going to be worth it!! The first impression when I called to book the appointment and upon arrival was amazing, quick, warm and professional. The techinician was extremely nice and I even feel bad writting but the manicure was mediocre, the best thing was the head/shoulder massage, it was worth it because of that, but I did go for a manicure. I was also told by the technician that I couldn’t use my phone inside, I was never told before. Unfortunately won’t be going in again.

The therapist I had (Alexandra) was lovely and gave me a wonderful signature facial. It was incredibly relaxing, and I left with my skin feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. The products used all smelt incredible and before we started the session Alexandra ensured to address my skin needs. She asked me from the get go if there were any products I was looking for, and I told her I was only looking for an exfoliator and happy with the other products I used. She absolutely did not attempt a hard sale and therefore all advice felt genuine...didn’t buy anything in the end because facial is quite pricey (£80) already but again didn’t feel pushed by any means. Would highly recommend it!

Much like it's other spas, Primrose Hill maintains the great standards I've come to love of the Cowshed chain. Situated at the bottom of the small high street, while the spa may appear a little small from out the outside, it's actually incredible pleasant to retreat to and escape the madness of Camden Town and the weekend crowd brunching in Primrose. They have a wonderful little cafe inside, which for those of you having treatments will be treated to a complimentary drink of choice. You can have this either before or after your appointment, which works wonderfully as you can really savour the relaxing atmosphere of the place. The coffee is well made and they have a small but lovely breakfast menu, all of which is made with great attention to detail. I have never had a bad word to say about Cowshed. The staff are attentive, friendly and very welcoming, and the treatments are always tailored to take into consideration any problems areas you may want to focus on (or avoid). While I'm not flush enough with cash to be a regular here, it is definitely worth the extra spend for a little treat.

I've had many a pedicure but the Cowshed Ultimate pedicure is by far and miles the best yet. Definitely recommend for giving your feet a gorgeous start to the summer and a general treat. My therapist was Venice - she was spot on. All that a therapist should be and generally lovely natured. Thank you for a lovely afternoon!

I had a voucher from my husband for some treatments and had a lovely time at Cowshed. Would come again as a treat. Had a lovely pedicure and a 60 minute moody massage. Rosario gave the most brilliant massage. Things that need a review is the size of the cafe (very small) and the breakfast menu. I can't eat eggs so requested sourdough toast with avocado and instead of the poached egg, wanted smoked salmon. Was told by the waiter that I couldn't simply supplement the egg for the salmon. Instead had to pay for the eggs plus the salmon.....even though I didnt have the eggs!!! I felt a bit aggrieved having to pay extra for two 5cm pieces of salmon. We didnt stay for lunch as planned, instead walked to Camden and had some lunch there. Cowshed's customer service from the head office team is great. My voucher had expired and they extended it without hesitation. It took absolutely ages to book my treatments at Cowshed as I needed a specific date. Booked more than 4 weeks in advance and it was still difficult to get both me and my friend our treatments at the sane time. I would advise to book sometime in advance if you are making a day of it at the week end.

I really loved my experience in the spa. It was my first time getting a massage and getting waxed but I felt completely at ease there. The atmosphere was very cosy and welcoming. I had booked a some treatments for the morning and some a lot later in the afternoon so I was worried about what I would do while waiting. But Faza very kindly moved it to an early time for me so I wouldn't have to wait for hours. I had a chocolate brownie and a breakfast salad bowl in their cafe. The food was sooo delicious and was served very quickly so no waiting time. I was soo delighted and happily surprised that the breakfast salad bowl is a massive, very generous portion size. I was also given complementary tea, there's lots of flavours to choose from. Everyone there is soo amazing and very nice and welcoming and make you feel completely at home. Especially Nadia and Faza who did my treatments on me, they are very friendly and very experienced and any nerves I had they completely took away, tbh they are completely awesome. I want to come here often, I will definitely come back next month and bring my sister and mum. And will come on all my birthdays in the future

The only downside was the cafe which does not know if their cheese is pasteurised and could not care less to provide you with a decent service. I am so, like, totally, like, in love with this place, yeah? Isn't everyone. Its always extremely busy when I walk by or visit for a treatment so get your bookings in early. The pedicures and manicures are definitely the best you can get in London without a shadow of a doubt and I've been around the (spa) block in my time! The staff are professional and friendly and the welcome complimentary mint tea always goes down a treat. I can happily sit in the pedicure chair with the headphones on watching friends on their little cute tvs (with a side portion of 'beauticans head' bobbing in front), with the big cushion on my lap, looking out over primrose hill pretending I'm in the rich millionaire wife club that my fellow chair neighbours are in. If only. For a slice of pure relaxation and to sample the high life in glam Primrose Hill then this is your place. I would spend every day in here if I could!

Cowshed is def overpriced with its treatments. However, you are paying for the vibe of the place. It’s easy to relax and unwind and this is exactly what i look for when getting a treatment. The other thing is this specific Cowshed has the best waxing ladies in London.
