Lovely community garden, well looked after by all who take care of it. Such beautiful things to see and such friendly people. If you are going in the summer holidays then they won't be able to access the garden until 3pm which we weren't made aware of until we got there but other than that, lovely experience!

It's a fantastic little space, with a huge veriety of plants and flowers and a fish pond. You might also spot the occasional cute cat. Extremely well maintained and socially enriching, as it offers (on request) allocated lots to local residents to grow their own plants. A true miniature oasis in the middle of Angel, for relaxation and contemplation.

I sit down for an hour sometimes because I work near by having something to eat and drink and couldn't be more peaceful the garden always looks great because it's always maintained by people working there, volunteers and local people I used to go to the school across the road and when I started it was called penton primary school which later was named Angel primary school and is now luxury flats such a shame because it was a great school and a great loss to the local area

Hired this lovely outdoor space for our children’s birthday party. Toilet, kitchen and tea hut. I can imagine it would be very tranquil without the kids! Be careful with smaller kids as there’s a pond that’s easy to fall in if they running about!

every day i spend around half an hour in this garden during my break while i am working. this is a nice & quite place which i like most. lots of plant and birds in this garden. the people who are looking after this garden are really nice. always smile when they see me and they are working hard to keep this garden beautiful. thank you very much to all of you guys. this is the only place i live to come back every week.

Lovely community garden, I spend most of my mornings after going shopping to the local supermarkets, it is great for kids and toddlers who like to play a bit of explores games. Several times a year they hold garden and art events.

A cosy garden with lots of hidden nooks & crannies, which make it the ideal place for a secluded moment in a big city. If I lived closer, I'd spend lots of time here on lunch breaks & so on. The people working on this community garden have done a great job. There are distinct areas, even small topiary bushes, which look like chickens & overall it comes together so well. Ideal for a small stroll.

Always stop here whenever we pass by. It's a haven so close to Angel s hussle bussle it's hard to believe it's real!!! People over there are kind and friendly and look very well after the garden. It's a blessing to fund such a peaceful place there😎. Sometimes you can even hear a choir rehearsing.... I would urge visitors to respect this garden and to pick up their litters!!! Really little effort means so much... 😎

Lovely quiet communal garden with playground, pond and seating. Unfortunately no dogs allowed. Nicholas Culpeper 1616 - 1654 was an English botanist, herbalist, physician & astrologer. During the English Civil War, he was the 1st person to translate (from Latin to English), self help medical guides for use by the poor because they couldn't afford the help of extortionate physicians. He believed that cheap herbal medical remedies was a public given not a commercial secret!
