Reviews of Dominion Theatre
R. J.
First time to this theatre, and we really enjoyed Grease. Although we had front row, the incline of the stalls looks like all seats would have a great view. We'd definitely be happy to sit further back.
The show, very good, nice little medley at the end and allowing pics to be taken during the medley was a nice touch. We'd happily go and watch Grease again, and also return to the theatre for other shows, well laid out and great location.

Saw The Prince of Egypt in January 2022, great musical. I sat in Stall Z5, pretty small seat & far from stage but still enjoyable. You can find some photo from my Z5 seats. Your view is blocked by balcony but you still see the whole stage alright. Great location, lovely theatre.

Girlfriend and I went to see Grease and a good time was had. Being able to pre order our half way drinks and snacks was a godsend.

I've seen a few shows here and each time had different seats. Though the view each time was pretty good.
It was quick and easy to get into the theatre, and the foyer is actually pretty special. It's quite grand looking.
The only downside to the most recent visit was that during the interval the queues at the bars were really long as a few were closed.
So we actually had time to run across the street to buy water from a different shop.
All in all it's a great theatre to see a show.

Beautiful theatre. Loved the show Dirty Dancing. Very close to the tube station, you can see the theatre straight away. Staff were polite and helpful. Bar gets very busy however you can take your own drinks in. You can order drinks from your seat via an app but you must book this with your tickets.

Such a nice trip. I was literally on the last row at the back (Q45 for anyone interested!) but had a great view of the stage, and it still felt like an intimate venue. Loads of leg room given that I'm over 6ft, and you could see over everyone to get a clear view, even if you were shorter. All the front of house staff were friendly, quickly dealt with issues in the audience, and everything went really smoothly.

Lovely theatre near the Tottenham Court Road.
We have had chosen Circle seat, row O, which high up but still managed to see loads. See the photos.
We watched the Dirty Dancing show, it ends on 16.5.2022. It was great, well rehearsed.
The Bar is well stocked. The toilets are ok, plenty of them.
Go & see the story & this lovely theatre 🎭!! Xx

Went to see Grease on 01.06.22
Best show I've seen in the last year.
I loved it. The kids loved it.
Everything about it was brilliant - singing was top quality, superb band, fantastic choreography (by Arlene Phillips) outstanding performers (and Peter Andre added extra entertainment value), lush costumes, impressive set production. The cast had so much energy and looked like they were totally enjoying themselves.
Sat on very back row in the middle. Great view. Take some binoculars. Queues for ladies toilets and the bar were not too bad. This is one of the larger and more modern theatres in London. Seats are a comfortable size.
I want to see it again!

First time at the Dominion. Beautiful theatre. Our seats were quite high up but if you choose the back rows there's a handrail so not a problem if you don't like being high. It's not raked steeply so it's comfortable. Had a great view of the whole stage. Comfortable seats not too close together. Saw Grease which was fabulous.

The Dominion Theatre was excellent, way bigger than I expected and quite comfortable as these things go.
The show was outstanding, don't go expecting a remake of the film Grease, all the right songs just in a different order! Cast was excellent although Peter Andre stole the show.

The Dominion Theatre is right in the heart of central London (indeed beside 'centrepoint') next to Tottenham Court Road Station on the Central and Northern Lines (and the new Elizabeth Line, although who knows when that will actually happen!). It's a beautiful theatre, architecturally interesting, almost church like in the main space. I have to be honest, I prefer a slightly smaller theatre, this place is absolutely huge and there are plenty of seats where restricted means restricted. The back of the stalls is cut off by the circle so if anything is happening at height, you will miss it. The back of the circle will ensure you can't see facial expressions. I've sat in row P of the stalls and row H of the circle and whilst the view for both was fine, you do feel quite far away from the action, which you don't get in most other theatres. The queing system is quite shambolic, so get there early if you can. A nice theatre to visit though.

Spectacular play!!! Prince of Egypt was so amazing!! I cried during the play!! Theatre was great, was a bit confused first with the seat number but everything went well. Loved the performance and the theatre was just near Tottenham Court underground tube. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

The musical Prince of Egypt is a truly a magnificent production of how Moses saved the Hebrews. The lighting, the props, casts, rhythm of the music, acoustic and how each scene transforms to the next painlessly is just spectacular. You must see this musical before it ends in January 2022 at Dominion Theatre, London. Thank goodness I did not miss it.

The queue to the theatre was really long, so I asked if it was possible for my mum who was on crutches to come inside and wait. They let us in without hesitation and helped my mum to her seat.
They were so helpful and friendly.
two male ushers stood out, sorry I didn't take ther names. One kept talking to us whilst showing us to our seats offering to help carry her crutches, the other was by the door to the circle seats. Thank you!
oh and Dirty dancing was good too 🥰

Saw Grease here last night, the show was a feel good toe tapper. I've only ever seen the film so had to adjust to the screenplay version, but all the best songs still there. Loved the diversity of the cast, and the energetic dancing, everyone on their feet by the end of the show. Dominion theatre operates a cashless system and you can preorder and have your drinks, ice-cream bought to your seats, bit pricey but not unexpected.

Very helpful when we needed to change our booking due to Covid. Offered either new dates or a refund. The show was fantastic. The seating is more spacious than some theatres and our view was excellent.
L. S.
Lovely theatre with a nice interior design. Seems to have good views of the stage no matter where you sit. We sat in the Circle, Row B, Seats 6 and 7 and we had a great view
S. P.
Amazing show!!!
We were able to pre-order our drinks and snacks and they were brought right to us at our seats shortly after we arrived. Excellent service.
A.
Beautiful building and excellent space for a show.
But...more importantly, the staff are amazing. I had a special request and they catered for my every need, making our night extra special and personalised.
Fully recommend Dominion Theatre.
M. H.
Tremendously enjoyed watching Prince of Egypt last evening at the very well located Dominion Theatre in London. The ambience was great, champagne was served on our seats and the performance very entertaining musical. But when are these theatres going to provide adequate toilet facilities and comfortable seats?
W. B.
The theatre is great.
I went to see The Prince of Egypt.
Must see.
The Prince of Egypt, high expectations satisfied.
The story is beautifully tell.
The acting parts are genuine and transmit strong emotions. The songs are amazing especially at the beginning and towards the end. Spectacular special effects that supply to relatively simple costumes. The lights and the music are excellent.
The dances uniquely exquisite.
Just go and spend the night there, is amazing.
M. R.
Saw Dirty Dancing here excellent show with the feel good factor. Had good comfortable seats in the stalls. Good location as next to Tottenham Court Road station.
M. J.
Average size theatre. Different shows every few months. We went various times abd sat at different places. Views are not restricted (generally speaking). You can see very well from most seats.
G. B.
This has always been my favourite West End theatre. It's well laid out, plenty of room. Great views from every seat. I saw We Will Rock You 3 times and Prince of Egypt last night. The staging at this theatre is on another level. Looking forward to my next visit.
b. s.
This is our second show at the Dominion. The view was great, we were in the second row and the stage wasn't so high that we struggled to see, which has been a problem for me in the past. It's quite a big theatre and u can't comment on the view from the other seats yet but the front is great. We are going again on 3rd march with seats in the royal circle so I will update with pictures.

Excellent theatre. We saw Dirty Dancing, which was superb. The seats were roomy and comfortable, and the refreshments were great. Recommended.

The prince of Egypt. What an amazing show to see in the theatre. Probably one of the most dramatic and high energy shows to see. The only snag was that it finished too quick despite it being on for about 2 hrs LOL 😂. The performers were absolutely brilliant 🤩.
I wish the seats were more comfy and you had a bit more personal space, theatres could do with facelift.

It was my first time going to a theatre and I saw one of the best shows I could ever see Dirty Dancing was absolutely fabulous the performers was amazing the acting was on point it was like watching the film in a different way thank you for the amazing experience

Saw Prince of Egypt here. Very nice show with some good visual effects and catchy songs. The Theatre is quite large, good rake in the stalls and plenty of friendly staff.
N. M.
Well organised. Beautiful decor. The Prince of Egypt was an extravaganza! Great singing, dancing, music and interesting and ingenious set design. The prices were really good when we went on a Monday.

It was my first visit to this theatre. It is easy access from the station. We had to queue outside, we thought it would take long, but we only queued 10min. Once inside it was easy to get to our seats and to find all the amenities. Thank you for a lovely afternoon watching Dirty Dancing.. We had the time of our lives 🥰
R. A.
Very much enjoyed the performance, especially Moses. Great cast overall and a real fun experience. The vocals were so good.
Staff were also very helpful and polite and made the experience even more great.
j. d.
Nice clean theatre, staff very friendly... Watched Dirty Dancing and really enjoyed the experience, view from our seat in Circle was really good even tho it specified restricted view due to safety rail.

Now I've had the time of my life
No, I never felt like this before
Yes I swear, it's the truth
And I owe it all to you
'Cause I've had the time of my life
And I owe it all to you
I've been waiting for so long
Now I've finally found someone to stand by me
We saw the writing on the wall
As we felt this magical fantasy
Now with passion in our eyes
There's no way we could disguise it secretly
So we take each other's hand
'Cause we seem to understand the urgency
Just remember
You're the one thing
I can't get enough of
So I'll tell you something
This could be love, because
I've had the time of my life
No, I never felt this way before
Yes, I swear, it's the truth
And I owe it all to you
Hey, baby
With my body and soul
I want you more than you'll ever know
So we'll just let it go
Don't be afraid to lose control, no
Yes, I know what's on your mind
When you say, "Stay with me tonight" (stay with me)
Just remember
You're the one thing
I can't get enough of
So I'll tell you something
This could be love, because
I've had the time of my life
No, I never felt this way before
Yes, I swear (yes, I swear), it's the truth
And I owe it all to you
'Cause I've had the time of my life
And I've searched though every open door
'Til I found the truth
And I owe it all to you
Now I've had the time of my life
No, I never felt this way before (never felt this way)
Yes, I swear, it's the truth
And I owe it all to you
I've had the time of my life
No, I never felt this way before (never felt this way)
Yes, I swear, it's the truth (it's the truth)
And I owe it all to you
'Cause I've had the time of my life
And I've searched though every open door
'Til I found the truth
And I owe it all to you...

Watched the prince of egypt here! It was such an incredible performance🥺👏🏽 shoutout to that cast they really put in the work and it showed. Could feel the emotion of each scene. Loved how they used the same props to make different objects throughout. This musical is definitely worth the price.
Theatre staff were nice and were helpful when we asked any queries. The theatre is clean and you can find your seats very quickly. We sat in the stalls row L seat 6,7,8. We had a clear view of the stage so I’d recommend these seats. The intermission usually lasts 15-20 mins and you can order snacks near the bar downstairs.🎭👏🏽

Prince of Egypt is an absolutely stunning and awe inspiring show.
I’m not a huge fan of the theatre but this show blew my mind.
The actors, songs and stage of the entire show was absolutely incredible and I cannot recommend it enough. Even friends of mine said the same when they heard I was going.

Went to watch Dirty Dancing at the Dominion Theatre last night. Was worried about how far back we would be but our seats had a brilliant view. The show was amazing!

Went on a coach trip to London. Saw Dirty Dancing which was brilliant and most people stood up to give a standing ovation. Lots of people present which was surprising as reports had suggested fewer were going to the theatres. Very few wearing masks. All shows people saw on the trip were highly spoken about. Worth going.

Amazing theatre, went to see Dirty Dancing with my sister. First time I've been. Can't wait to go again
F. M.
Great venue for Dirty Dancing...
Never seen an audience interact with a play so much and anticipate the next scene or famous line... loved it

The Prince of Egypt is an absolutely fantastic show. 👏🏾 What a fabulous cast, their voices were superb! The production, the orchestra were all top notch. We had an epic evening.

I'm not one to write reviews usually but I had to make an exception!
I booked Dirty Dancing as a surprise for my mum and my grandmother. My grandmother is very frail and relies on a mobility aid. I was worried about how she would navigate the theatre but whilst waiting in the queue outside, a lovely chap called KM asked us all to follow him.
KM led our group to the front of the queue and guided my grandmother down the steps to the theatre seating. He guided us from the initial queue, straight to our seats and even stored the mobility aid for us so we didn't have to cram it somewhere.
During the interval, KM came back to check on my grandmother and asked whether she needed the aid. He then returned at the end of the show and guided her safely out of the building.
KM was so so lovely and nothing was too much trouble. In a time when customer service appears to be dwindling elsewhere, Dominion have certainly got it right!
KM is a real asset to the company and we were very appreciative of his assistance! KM, YOU ROCK!

This theatre is huge! I saw The Prince of Egypt and sat on Row N in the Circle. Although it’s far back, the view isn’t restricted: for £19.50, you can’t argue.
Check out what's on at the Dominion and pay it a visit :)

Went to watch the Prince of Egypt matinee here. The staff were really helpful and polite and the theatre itself is clean and tidy. The show was great.
C. L. O.
Art deco space, well conserved with original structures and well kept. Different floors and entrances. There are bars in each floor and merch as well. Feels luxurious.
A. R.
First time at this venue I really liked the leg room it was very generous compared to other theatres even my tall partner said the same. We sat at row B the view was great. As for the performance of Grease the parts where they stuck to the original we’re enjoyable but there is very little chemistry between “Danny and Sandy”
N. M.
Amazing experience, from start to finish. Walk out of the underground at Tottenham Court Rd Station, up the stairs and the theatre is straight in front of you. Very convenient and easy to get to. Good location and Dirty Dancing was superb show, must see 👌🏼😊

Went there to watch the musical Grease. The facilities there were clean and comfortable to use. Staff and security were on point and professional. Saw someone trying to take a video and was told not to do so within a 30 second time frame. Despite the theatre being full, there are sufficient exits for a swift exodus. I sat close to the front and was out within 5 minutes. I would visit the theatre again to watch many more musicals if I could. Would highly recommend. Overall, 8/10.

We went to watch The Prince of Egypt at the Dominion Theatre. Blown away is what we were. We were totally in awe of the cast, crew, musicians and everyone involved in this production. It was a fabulous three hours of pure entertainment!! To the staff at Dominion Theatre thank you for all you did to keep us safe. We have missed the theatre. Man was it totally worth the wait. What a way to come back!!! Long may your performances thrill and delight the crowds you are all super talented.

We watched Dirty Dancing which is currently on at Dominion Theatre. We loved the view from our seats up in the balcony (M45 and 46). The seats were comfortable with good room space for a theatre. I would gladly go to this theatre again!
T. L.
Great room, sound is great, seats comfortable, and good leg room in the Stalls.
Saw Grease there tonight, it was a good rendition of the iconic story.
J. B.

Walked past this theatre many times passing through London, never forming an opinion of the place. Having now Actually gone inside to watch "Prince of Egypt" I can comfortably say that this theatre is an excellent place! The stage is amazing, the staff are fantastic, and the seating was spacious and comfortable! Hope to visit many more shows at the Dominion as the years go by! As all these factors really helped me enjoy my viewing experience.
L.
Had to queue to get in, once in we were directed straight to our seats. Alcohol available - reasonable price, Watched dirty dancing with a good view from the stalls
J. K.
We went to see Prince of Egypt when we were there. The theatre is super massive. We were there for the Matinee on Thursday so the seats weren’t full. I just hope that they would move everyone up to the front to fill in the seats, but the didn’t. Overall a nice theatre to go to
J. O. W.
A great theatre, nice, comfy and roomy seats.
We were sat in row "O" and had a great view.
Sadly Grease was not the word for us - the sound was really poor and the show didn't really flow.
The set and lighting was wonderful.
A real shame, because I very much wanted to like it. 😪
C. M.
Great night but couldnt buy single glasses of pino grigio?? Some gratuitous nudity which my wife and the rest of the screaming women seemed to enjoy!! Went home and tried "the lift" as it looked so easy!!😅😅
J. P.
Quality production amazing venue. My cheap seat was next to a very expensive seat and we had the same experience.
My only negative is the theatres seat pricing.
I wanted 2 seats in the last remaining 3, they wouldn't let me buy just 2 so was an inconvenience. This needs to be looked at in future

Teatro de Londres, un antiguo cine del West End. Está situado en Tottenham Court Road, cerca de St Giles circus y del rascacielos Centre Point.
The historic Dominion Theatre sits majestically at the junction of Tottenham Court Road, Oxford Street and Charing Cross Road and first opened in 1929.
This landmark building, which was granted Grade II status by English Heritage in 1998, has recently completed a stunning £6 million restoration. All areas of the theatre were involved in the renovation, including the installation of a new flying system and the enlargement of the orchestra pit to facilitate large scale productions, and a full refurbishment of all five bars and ninety-five toilets front of house. Almost 1.2 acres of bespoke carpets were laid front of house and over 400 gallons of paint used in the reconditioning of the gold detailing and plasterwork of the proscenium arch, auditorium ceiling, foyers and hospitality suites. All of the theatre’s seats were reupholstered and additional French polished handrails added to aid accessibility inside the auditorium. The electrics and lighting fixtures also received an overhaul with the use of enough cable to stretch 4500 times the length of the Eiffel Tower.
During its illustrious history, the venue has operated successfully as both a theatre and cinema, including a record-breaking 4 years and 22-week continuous run of Joshua Logan’s film of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s South Pacific, starring Mitzi Gaynor. Other blockbuster films have included Cleopatra, which starred Elizabeth Taylor; The Sound of Music (which ran from March 1965 to June 1968); the Gertrude Lawrence bio-pic Star!, with Julie Andrews; David Lean’s Lawrence of Arabia and, in 1977, the UK premiere (simultaneously with the Leicester Square Theatre) of George Lucas’ Star Wars.
The Dominion Theatre has played host to countless legendary stars (including Judy Garland, Shirley MacLaine, Maurice Chevalier, Sophie Tucker, Jeanette Macdonald and David Bowie) and seven Royal Variety Performances. In 1931, Charlie Chaplin made a personal appearance at the UK premiere of City Lights (the classic silent film he directed, wrote and starred in).
Over the years, the theatre has also welcomed many prestigious companies, lavish stage productions and long-running shows including: Disney’s Beauty and the Beast; Matthew Bourne’s Swan Lake; London Festival Ballet (now English National Ballet); Welsh National Opera and the Olivier Awards.
Facilities
A large extension to the rear of house facilities was built to accommodate Disney’s Beauty and the Beast in 1996/7. It’s still in use today.

How you experience a theatre is largely down to what show you see there I think, so while I'm reviewing the Dominion 5 stars, it is also because I enjoyed Grease there. We sat in row D on the Isle on the right. It was great to see the actors expressions being so close. Perhaps would've been better slightly closer to the middle, but we knew that booking. The show was great, with my favourite numbers being "We go together" and "Greased Lightening". The choreography and singing was worth watching the whole show for just those 2 numbers. The theatre itself was well managed, we got in quickly and the toilets were fine:)
E. L.
The show itself was outstanding; the cast and crew deserved the standing ovation and more. The facilities were great. Would recommend getting your own snacks as its slightly overpriced inside.
J. M. L. F.
I came to the Dominion Theatre on the 25/11/21 to see the evening performance of The Prince of Egypt. I managed to get good discounted tickets so thought why not as I had heard rave reviews about the show.
My seat was row J and the end aisle seat so the left hand side was slightly obscured, however once the show was on, it didn't really affect my view.
During this performance, half way through there appeared to be some sort of technical issue which brought everyone in the audience to a surprise. However after a few minutes they quickly resolved the issued and resumed where they left off and professionally like it never happened.
Toilets are clean.
Theatre is across the road from the station so not hard to find at all. Tottenham Court Road station is served by the Northern and Central Line.
Plenty of places to eat nearby, Burger King, Mc Donald's, if you fancy something a bit more upscale there are a few more places behind Centre Point to eat.
Covid-19 Measures are in place so if you are not exempt, you are expected to wear a mask, didn't need to show Covid status on the NHS app although it is useful to have access to if asked. Most theatres will tell you if you need to bring proof of vaccination/lateral flow test if need be.

My eldest daughter and i went to see DIRTY DANCING at the Dominion Theatre on the 25th March.
I would like to thankyou to the staff that afternoon because I have to walk with a rolator.A member of staff showed us to our seats and explain that they had to take the rolator away and bring it back when half time came so I can walk to the ladies. After the show they once again brought my rolator. The service from staff was very good and so kind.Everyone had a lovely time. The people all stood up and clapping. The show was like the real film and it brought tears to my eyes.My youngest daughter use to play DIRTY DANCING over and over again at the age 2.
Thankyou to all staff working so hard that day and made jus welcome.
J. F.
Saw Dirty dancing, good show great cast but for me can't help but compare to the film. Feels rushed through and the sound wasn't great and was lost in the large auditorium
F. W.
Fantastic to be back!! Prince of Egypt was fabulous!! We loved ordering our drinks to be brought to us during the interval. I hope this idea will catch on and stay. Lovely helpful and friendly staff. Efficient and felt safe. Well done.
E. S.
Amazing theatre lovely protection. Staff very friendly and helpful :)

The prince of Egypt was not what I expected. The message of “believe in Allah instead of worshiping the pharaoh or the cow or literally anything and anyone else besides Allah or you shall perish, was completely omitted from this play, but instead it was a about hazrat Musa’s (as) struggle to free the slaves.
Pharaoh was portrayed as someone struggling to do good (lol) ( and he was not drowned at the end!!!) and Hazrat Musa (as) was portrayed as weak and defiant against Allah’s will (astagfurillah)
I don’t understand why this story was changed so much but it completely ruined it for me.
R. M.
There isn't a bad seat in the theater. Visited from America just visiting friends for a couple of weeks and had a wonderful time. I did find that pending the area you visited that the British are a bit snooty but like I said,it depends on the areas you visit (my British friends words not mine but I have to agree with them.) We went to The Dominion to see a show, had a good time then went to visit a couple of the gay nightclubs and saw where The Historical Blitz stood,Heaven, and got to meet a couple of celebrities and they loved my southern U.S accent and picked up right away I was an American southerner haha.
J. F.
My daughter and I saw Dirty Dancing and had brilliant seats for what was a wonderful show! Great dancing, singing and story, which lives up to its reputation. Well done everyone involved in the show and at the theatre. Well done to you all!
S. K.
What a fantastic experience that was ..... Dirty Dancing 🕺 🎶 The cast was Amazing , really enjoyed it .
I'd recommend going to watch this
A. G.
Such a beautiful theatre. Love the architecture. The interiors are beautiful, and has a structure that allows, also in further rows, to feel involved in the theatre. At the moment showing “the prince of Egypt” that’s worth watching. There is also a great service that helps ordering drinks and merchandise keeping it safe.
M. A.
My daughter had given me a very special treat on my birthday to see dirty dancing. I enjoy every minute of it. I can't wait to come back to see another show. I love it.
J. A.
The dominion theatre was a great venue. The queue outside was processed quickly and efficiently. There was good leg room in the seats which made for a comfortable experience. The bars were busy but this theatre seats a lot of customers. We were in row O and had a good view of the stage. We saw Dirty Dancing and the show itself was amazing. Toilet queues were surprisingly short and facilities were clean. The building was lovely and the acoustics were good!
J. W.
Fabulous show Prince of Egypt, venue ok but far to packed for my liking with many people not wearing masks. I understand some are exempt but not one of them wearing an exemption badge. Excellent service from bar staff and indeed all staff.
F.
A beautiful theatre with grand design. We went to go and see Prince of Egypt and although I was very disappointed with the show, I do appreciate the theatrics to it. It was an experience all in all. But for any fellow Christians out there, don't expect much from the show; it's definitely nothing like the film, the storyline is completely changed and God is completely removed from it and made to seem like a villain. 100% disappointed so I won't be going to see it again.
M. R.
Went to see Dirty Dancing which was amazing the cast did the characters from the original film brilliantly. Patrick Swayze would have been so proud. Well done to you all. Myself and hubby had a brilliant time. Thank you 🥰

Felt very cramped in the seats, and I couldn't really see past the person infront ...only when she fell asleep ... the place was ok , clean and service to your seat in the interval which I could book before hand .....but it was just quite claustrophobic for me
W. S.
Great theatre. With helpful staff and the show (Dirty Dancing) was phenomenal!
S. Y.
Such a cute theatre. Went to see Dirty Dancing and it was absolutely fantastic.
J. H.
Went to watch The Prince of Egypt the Musical with the family. Centrally located West End theatre venue. Just outside Tottenham Court Road tube station. Licester Square as well as Chinatown/Soho a short walk away. Place is a bit dated but clean. Has bars and restaurant inside. You can pre order online drinks, snacks and spirits. When planning to buy Stalls ticket, ZZ on lower level is best as it has huge leg room. You dont have to stand up everytime somebody needs to go toilet or buy something.
S. C.
We saw grease in the theatre, amazing show we enjoyed it! The theatre itself is also pretty
A. G.
Excellent venue, facilities, bar, and a good show(Dirty Dancing 2022)
A. M.
Went to see Dirty Dancing, great show.
The ladies definitely "had the time of their life"
Great seats in the stalls, so no-one was in the corner this time around.
Bar was reasonably priced, Card only atm.
N. M.
Good hotel in a great location with friendly staff. We had a very nice meal on the first night. The cosy room is as described, only issue was hot water pressure but probably to be expected in an older building on the top floor.
Y. D.
Grease The Musical was amazing, The stage is clearly visible even from the rear seats
s. o.
Last minute theatre visit ,got fantastic seats, helpful staff in the box office, great theatre fab show...
A. Z.
The theater ia great, and The Prince of Egypt Musical playing it currently is one of the best I've seen on West End / Broadway, highly recommended!
J. T.
Recently saw Prince of Egypt here.
Albeit post covid, the split entrance for circle and stalls was brilliant, got straight into the theatre and through bag check without any hassle. Staff were friendly and still wearing masks, which was great to see.
The cherry on the top, order to your seat refreshments! Perfect! 😊
A. S.
What an amazing theatre drinks delivered to you seat. Seats are big plenty of space and a large stage Aircon was good too we saw dirty dancing fantastic show lots of fun loved it
M. B.
Great venue, comfortable seating with decent legroom. Lots of bars and places to buy snacks and souvenirs. All the staff we spoke to were helpful and friendly. This place is fairly easy to find as well.
K.
Beautiful theater and not too big, which means good visibility from all seats. Reasonably priced bar and lovely service!
M. C.
Fantastic evening with my partner watching Dirty Dancing. Great service and an abundance of talent throughout the whole cast if the show. Thoroughly entertaining and would highly recommend.
j. b.
Great view of the stage
Fantastic performance of The Prince of Egypt
J. C.
A few problems at the Dominion on my visit last wk. System problems meant the queues to get in were huge and very slow moving. This was then made worse when the 'all clear' was accidentally given to begin the show long before the full queue of audience members were seated or even within the auditorium. After an initially poor response from the front of house staff on the night; when I emailed in about it, the response from the customer service team was excellent. They provided a detailed explanation of what had gone wrong and how it had happened, and offered me a chance to re-see the show. A brilliant example of good service recovery.
T. W.
Theatre amazing. Staff great. Only issue was all the drunk crowd who were singing along and sounding like a strangled cat. They should be made to keep the noise down and be respectful of others
s. b.
Such a great performance dirty dancing was great. The staff at the bar are super quick and the staff who watch the performance are good too getting people off there phones that are trying to record. Great night
D. L.
So close to Tottenham court road.. Fabulous atmosphere...... highly recommend Dirty Dancing
J. S.
Great theatre, comfy seats, view from seat A3 of stalls
B. D.
Brilliant show!
Loved every moment of it and well deserved standing ovation.
I’d like to say a big thank you to “KM” for taking great care of my Nan; your customer services is exemplary.
M. F.
Prince of Egypt. Everyone else loved it. I thought it good. Miriam was exceptional. Very, very powerful opening in Deliver us. Original songs are the best.
Post COVID theatre arrangements worked well. Felt so good doing something normal again.
R. R.
I had a wonderful experience inside the theatre. All seats are well placed in such a way that you get a clear view of the centre stage. Lightings, sound system is excellent.
J. H.
Went to see Dirty Dancing today with my Daughter - absolutely brilliant.
p. c.
Saw the musical Dirty Dancing. Absolutely fabulous and a lot of fun! Felt like I was 17 again. Will definitely come to The Dominion Theatre to watch another show.
L. W.
The seats were big and comfortable plenty of leg room. The staff were friendly and helpful. Very easy to get to on the central line it brings you right to the Theatre
S. H.
Group of friends went to see Dirty Dancing. Great show, cast and music. Loved it. The audience loved it, grest atmosphere. Staff really friendly and efficient.
E. B.
We saw Dirty Dancing here, great venue and fantastic show.
k. h.
Watching Dirty Dancing brilliant performance fantastic theatre
J. S.
Went to see Dirty Dancing, good show enjoyable.
Theatre is a lovely venue, staff nice and helpful. Bag checked queues were huge however, need to rethinking and have a queue for no bags to get people in quickly as everyone stuck in a long queue
N. M.
Gotta love The Dominion. We have seen so many good shows and films here, over the years. Never cramped for leg space in the stalls (and I'm 6'), altho' it can be annoying if someone tall/or with big hair is in front of you.
C. S.
Loved our night watching dirty dancing and had a great night!
R. C.
Watched Grease yesterday.
The theatre is 2 mins walk from underground, so very convenient.
We seated at the stalls, which is about 80m from the entrance, so pretty easy to walk in straight, if you are late.
Amenities wise the loos are quite clean and there are bars and cafes inside selling drinks and small snacks.
On the downside, our show started about 20 mins late due to some technical issues.
Also, £8 for a programme leaflet and ~£3 for a small bottle (20p) of water is very very steep indeed.
S. R.
Really enjoyed Dirty Dancing at the Dominion Theatre. Lovely venue
T. D.
Smallish theatre, bit of a maze but it's fine, easy to find,
D. M.
Excellent theatre, with great facilities, although I felt a little bit cramped in my seat with regards to leg room. However, the show was good , with all the participants putting on a good show and a great night out.
F. B.
Beautiful theater, Grease was so much fun. Though from the top seats the view is a bit far to fully appreciate the characters.
V. S.
beautiful hall! Hillsong London church every Sunday 11 am and 5 pm
T. R.
An excellent view of Dirty Dancing however, I think they really need to lower the handrails in certain sections. I had trouble seeing the parts of the stage when up on level 3 because I sat behind the handrail and had to stand up or sit myself down to see more
A. S.
I loved this theatre plenty of room large seats and a great view can order drinks to your seat which is fab best theatre I have ever been too. The staff are great as well really organised thank you so much
P. J.
Amazing experience!!! I could definitely do this every night ❤️
T. P.
Great show....shame about the audience. One group got thrown out!! Another group got a warning
s. w.
Fantastic experience, top circle seats had a great view, staff are helpful and friendly , didnt seem to be disabled accessible but maybe in the stalls it is , definitely call the theater to check before travelling.
S. L.
Really easy to find.
Just be aware that if you pop to toilet at end you'll be directed to leave by alternative exit and not via foyer. Not good when rest of your family go missing!!
G. M.
Must be one of the biggest theatres in London but seats could be better - quite narrow & bum numbing. Well supplied with toilets although women still needed to queue into the corridor.
J. h.
Wow! Grease was absolutely superb. Great cast, great energy, superb choreography. We loved every minute!
j. b.
Great show. Well worth seeing. Chose seats with restricted view to save money. Glad we did. Hardly affected our view at all.
r. m.
Love this theater..attend hillsong church there on Sundays..grate location
M. D. A.
What a night! Dirty dancing, definitely provided some amazing dance pieces.
K. E.
Arrived late because of the tube strike and it was a series of staff members ready to take us to our seats, so nice!
M. P.
Fantastic show...Grease did not disappoint!! Theatre was comfortable, (unlike the Coliseum earlier in the day)..and staff were helpful & friendly!
A. H.
Just been to see the new production of Grease. Fun and uplifting. Good afternoon out.
J. S.
Nice theatre. Easily located from exit 2 of Tottenham Court tube, (Northern Line).
Just seen Grease. Seen film obvs and saw original Westend production with Craig Mclaughlin and also Shane Ritchie as Danny years ago.
Enjoyed this version and Peter Andre made this show great.
s. y.
Watched Dirty Dancing with friends! It was great!
D.
Grease the show was great!
Sadly, the seating were not too big and the air conditioning was too strong and extremely cold.
K.
Huge theatre. Very comfortable. Good viewing from every seat. But if you want to see faces I would recommend sitting somewhere rather lower than circle. I watched White Christmas. Beautifully done. Theatre gets very warm so don't overdress yourself. Bars with quite high prices but avarage in London. Toilets might get busy but there's lots of them.
N. S.
Beautiful theatre, I really enjoyed the musical American in Paris. I would recommend seats in the middle of row L, was very good visibility not too close as the stage is quite tall. The only thing we could hear the noise from the trains during the musical as probably trains pass very close to the theatre, but it didn't disturb too much. Overall amazing experience!
T. G.
Fabulous show if you want to have a great night out get tickets for Dirty Dancing, audience participation amazing, cast superb, experience wonderful.
K. M. (.
Customer service was exceptional! Brought my father who has trouble walking to the theatre a to watch Bat out of Hell and he loved it!
We even got moved to higher banded seats for free so he could access the disabled toilets easier.
The show was fantastic and the theatre was very clean and warm.
Great night out and you can even bring your own snacks, water and soft drinks if you prefer.
M. I.
Had a l9vely time watching Dirty Dancing . My daughter took me for 70th birthday present. A great show.
S. G.
Beautiful theatre. Seating is decent although not staggered enough so you often get people with big heads blocking your view. Gorgeous architecture if you find the time to look at it. Overall you can see the stage pretty well from anywhere.
S. A.
This is a review of the theatre (rather than the current stage show, as in fairness that would require a review of its' own). The theatre is located directly opposite or outside Tottenham Court Road Station (depening on which exit you come out of). It is clearly visible by the show's banners.
I visited in February in a group of four. Walking in, we had ohr bags checked by security briefly. We then went up some grand stairs that looked inspired by art deci design. There was a gift stand at the top of the stairs with a friendly attendant manning the stand.
Our seats were located in the front row off the upper circle. It is an awkward shuffle to get in and out of the seats as you can only access the seats from one side. Our seats were marked as restricted view, but we found they were okay despite having a bar in front of us.
The theatre is smaller than what i thought it would be, but it housed the props and stage design well.
In the intermission a young man offered is the usual tubs of ice cream.
A thoroughly enjoyable theatre-going experience, albeit for a disappointing show.
P. H.
Two shows, two great experiences
G. T.
Good theatre , was enjoyable experience. That seats had little leg room that was the only down side
J. C.
Saw Dirty Dancing here - Love this theatre - I'm sure there isn't a bad seat in the house. Staff excellent.
D. D.
Saw Dirty Dancing, great atmosphere and so nice to see a huge theatre so busy. Only gripe is it costs £4 for a very small tub of ice cream
C. C.
We went to see Bat out of Hell the musical. We were quite a way back (circle, second ring), but were pleased to find binoculars attached to the seats which we could rent for £1.
The theatre itself is quite large and beautiful.
M. P.
Cameron at the champagne bar looked after us very well yesterday, great service and an experience that we would definitely do again!
T. E.
Saw The new Prince of Egypt musical last night. It was absolutely amazing. Between the performance, set and human other effects I was blown away. It was my first show in the Dominion Theatre so I wasn't sure of what to expect. I was seated in row S in three stalls and I had an uninterrupted view of all the action on stage. Arty least largely. The person in front of me had an up swept hairstyle that occasionally blocked my view. But it didn't spoil the show.
T. M.
For many years, the Dominion Theatre, located diagonally from Tottenham Court Station, hosted the wildly successful Queen musical "We Will Rock You" - and now, it's running another jukebox musical, "Bat out of Hell" - which I recommend wholeheartedly to any fan of "operatic" rock. The venue itself is among the less attractive in central London, and its relative grubbiness is only exacerbated by an ugly building site just in front of it - which makes smoking/vaping during the interval a less than pleasant endeavour. But it's one of the larger venues, with more modern technical facilities than some - and thus perfect for a rock opera like "Bat out of Hell".
I saw the show once before, last year when it had a limited run at the more prestigious English National Opera house.
T. Q.
Great venue with easy transport link. We saw Dirty Dancing which id recommend, but get in quick, its not on for long
G. L.
The location is perfect, very close to Tottenham court road station. The show, grease was very nice.
H. K.
I went to see Bat Out of Hell and was sitting in the Circle, in the back half so quite far away. The Dominion is a huge theatre. They don't use the Upper Circle any more but it's still enormous seating over 2000 people. Despite the distance from the stage, the sightlines were very good, and the clever staging with large screens to show the close up action worked very well. The theatre has fantastic audio, so the music from the show filled the auditorium without sounding distorted. I loved the show!
C. B.
Went to see Dirty dancing ,absolutely fabulous show and the venue was brilliant.....
D. T.
Watched the Prince of Egypt and enjoyed the performance. Their precautions considering the current climate showed their due diligence had been carried out and also enforced. Very reassuring and enjoyable. Amazing cast and show.
M. L.
Prince of Egypt was spectacular! Highly recommend. I went for New Years for my wife’s bday. Amazing.
First time at the Dominion, can’t fault it.
Covid passes did not delay things either surprisingly for such a large venue.
S. M.
Prince of Egypt tonight - wow. Moses, Miriam, the tiny little boy actor, the dancers and the orchestra - just so good. The staff in this lovely theatre were all super polite and friendly. Great night
W. R.
Easy entry during these covid times.
Though this meant queues outside while vaccine status was checked.
Went to see 'The Prince of Egypt'
It was a wonderful production with brilliant actors.
S. K.
Saw Bat out of Hell for the third time...Brilliant show. Theatre has great seating with good leg room. We sat in the stalls. The bar is good but no seating hence I only gave 4 stars. You can order drinks for the interval. We had great view of stage even though we were at the back.
G. A.
The theatre itself is ok and seats have adequate legroom, however, the waiting outside in sub zero temperature, filling up a busy West end pavement isn't necessary or tolerable.
Mandatory mask wearing was totally ignored inside the theatre and wasn't insisted upon by the staff obviously fearful of being told to sod off. Bar prices are beyond belief and so are seat prices. Theatre land needs a shake up,it wasn't only them that suffered during the lockdown some of us didn't get wages either !
Incidently, Dirty Dancing was pants. Poor production totally relying on the last 10 minute finale. The audience rising to its feet at the end was mistaken by the cast as a curtain call when in fact it was a rush to get out
M. C.
Brilliant! Epic! Are words used justifiably to describe a stellar performance but...
the story is about an abandoned race of people, abandoned by the God they knew, the gods they did not know, who consumed them through slave labour. The actors enacted the story well. For me, I felt something on a cellular level, like they were telling me my own story . The music was very good but an Asian Arabic Jewish undertone kept resurfacing..not the tones that epitomised the God-like energies that made Egypt great and terrible..
A. D. S. (.
Wonderful experience. Prince of Egypt was emotional for me who was familiar with the story from the bible. The actors & actresses were amazing. Fantastic singers. Made me want to sing along as well.
W. S.
Visited the Dominion Theatre to see "THE PRINCE OF EGYPT" and had a great time. The show is outstanding and I thoroughly recommend a visit to see it. Communication with and from the theatre is excellent and both staff and venue are Covid-19 compliant. They almost achieved 5 stars but I found the queuing up outside poorly processed with a lack of direction especially as I had been given a time slot, which I achieved but the theatre seemingly oblivious to this. The timeslot was actually worthless. On the plus side, ordering and receiving drinks was excellent and although the staff were rushed off their feet it was great to sit down and have the drinks brought to you. The performance started 20 mins or so late and this was not very well communicated but did not detract from a thoroughly enjoyable evening. Lateral Flow Tests since the performance some 4 days ago have been negative so I guess they seem to be doing everything to combat this virus whilst allowing some semblance of normality. Would definitely recommend an evening at this theatre.
M. M.
Watched Prince of Egypt. It was an amazing experience. Beautiful interior, friendly staff, fun vibe. 😀
S. M.
What a show, sad to see it go due to Covid19. Definitely one of the best I've ever watched
b. s.
Great night out, grease is a fantastic show i would highly recommend it 👌
Q. G.
Went to see prince of Egypt on the 20 September, really enjoyed the show.
Very friendly and polite staff, only bad experience was with the security guard checking our bags on entrance he was not polite or friendly, otherwise a perfect night.
C. B.
Went to see the prince of Egypt which was great. Cast was good, though some overacting.
D. B.
The theatre and it's staff are lovely. The building is well kept and it is a great venue to watch musicals at. The only negative is the costs of drinks and snacks. When I saw Prince of Egypt there was a full audience of people so I don't understand the need for the product prices to be so high. Otherwise a lovely evening!
R.
Nice theatre, entry and exit procedure really efficient despite covid protocols. Staff helpful and friendly. Sat in row Z of the stalls which gave us a good view of the excellent Prince of Eygpt show.
A. E.
Excellent service and did not have to wait too long to enter the building. The show Prince of Egypt was awesome. Brilliant special effects.
Dominion theater did not get 5* because it could have done with air condition. Apart from that l will go there again.
M. A.
Beautiful huge theatre. Wonderful facilities. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Well managed too.
S. G.
Nice theatre. Great show. A lot of happy women when Johnny took he's shirt off.
L. (.
This theatre is really beautiful and we had a good sight on the stage, although we sat in row x, which is not very close to the stage. I went to the prince of Egypt. The actors were great and i loved to see the small kids playing so well, the price was okey in my opinion. I can’t give 5 stars because it was so incredible hot in here that we left in the break and we were not even wearing a face mask and we wore a t-shirt. I really hope dominion theatre will do something about this, because I would love to come back another time, but we had to leave the theatre because of the warmth.
R. W.
Beautiful theatre inside & outside & always follows a detailed theme depending on the production.
The Prince of Egypt is fantastic & would recommend for all ages... Don't listen to the negative reviews, suspect that a systemic agenda has played a part in the negative press.
The Prince of Egypt is an incredible, powerful musical with some powerful voices to match. Expect goosebumps, tears & some new songs.
Brilliant... Standing ovations all around!
Register your party on the NHS Track & Trace app before attending, this will save time on arrival (so make sure the app is downloaded before you go. You'll receive a text/email with an instruction link if this information was provided at the time booking). Masks are worn at all times moving around & you'll be encouraged to wear them while seated if possible. Staff will check inside any bags - We had a very comical, friendly bag checker 🐙 All of the staff we came in to contact with were putting in maximum effort to help patrons & to follow safety guidelines.
A glamorous, dual staircase from the foyer to the circle has wide, shallow, carpeted steps with 4 hand rails on each stair (approx 12 + 12 steps). Approx 8/10 more steps from bar area/landing to auditorium entrance.
There are seat maps available online to chart a specific location. In the circle, any seat from H to Q will be steps up, any seat from G to A will be steps down.
Not many staff are present toward the top of the circle, they stand on the landing half way between rows H-G, so if you want ice cream or bathroom at interval use the side stairs, along the edge of the auditorium, to get to the landing. It gets very warm up there so ice cream will seem like a good idea, even if you're not an ice cream fan.
Queues for loos... Not too bad! Approx 8/10 steps down for loos, from circle.
Great location next to Tottenham Court Road tube station, right on the Tottenham Court Road & a short walk to Soho, China Town, Charing Cross, etc.
D. J.
Went to watch the orince of Egyot during a slighr lifting of lockdown. The staff were so lovely and accommodating and i definitely felt like everybody was adhering to the social distancing. The seats were excellent (we sat circle A26-27) as we got a great view of the performance. Will definitely come here again!
S.
Got last minute tickets to see Prince of Egypt and had a great time. Sat in row G of the circle and view was amazing, and decent leg room. Drinks are fairly expensive but it's all part of the theatre experience! Fun evening out, definitely worth it if you get last minute tickets.
D. U.
Excellent show and service from box office staff and especially the assistance host Niall. Saw to everything we needed most efficiently and with minimum fuss. Highly recommended and congratulations on a job well done.
E. V.
Finally used my voucher from last year!!! So happy the musicals are back!!! Loved being here, although the ushers are so rude at times and one of them specifically came to us and requested that we don’t have hot food in the theater. Well duh! We just ate before we came and of course we smelled like food 😁plus we had some French fries fromFive Guys left over. Anyways, I would definitely go back, but watch for that floor manager, with her keys behind her back and long pony tail, walking like she owns the place lol If it wasn’t for her this experience would have been beyond impressive, but so disappointed that they treat you with no respect!
Thank you for the rest of the crew at the theater! Amazing show!!! Absolutely loved it, took my little sister with me, it was her first time and definitely wants go back. As soon as we get some days off, planning ahead to attend the next show! Or maybe even rewatch the Prince of Egypt. 🤩thank you!!!!!
J. D.
The Theatre is easy to get to via the tube Tottenham Court Road. I had Circle tickets to see Prince of Egypt the effects of the show are brilliant and well thought through. The seats were good but if you are over 5ft 11in they are not generous with the leg room. There are alot of stairs in the venue as well as the journey on the tube when switching tube lines.
M. R.
This was one of the Best Musicals I have have ever seen. And that is saying something when I have seen over 45 shows. The perfect pitch harmonies of the voices was incredible. All the actors have simply fantastic and out of this world voices, ALL of them ! And the choreography, oh my god the choreography is breathtaking and a show of its own. This is a musical that I would watch over and over and over and over again....very very very highly recommended.
N. M.
This is one of the bigger theatres. It's really beautiful instead and well maintained. Staff encouraged you to wear masks while around the building and there were hand sanitiser stations everywhere.
J. G.
Drinks & snacks overpriced but hey it is London & you are a captive audience. But all round a good night out. Easy access to the tube, overground trains etc.
C. J.
We LOVED watching the Prince of Egypt at the this theatre. The cast was incredible and the staging was so well done!
The bar didn’t have many options but the staff didn’t mind you bringing in your own snacks and drinks.
If you go for seats in the circle, go a few rows back from the front row for the best view.
D.
Faithfully recreating & true to the original 1987 film, the Dominion’s theatrical presentation of Dirty Dancing is like opening a yummy chocolate box time capsule only with even more fun, frolics & fever pitched hip pivoting dancing as you sit along with a very excitable audience. The casting directors have excelled themselves with choosing Kira Malou as ‘Baby’ and Michael O’Reilly as an even more believable ‘Johnny’ than the actual outstanding late Patrick Swazyze himself! His pose, hair flick, swaggering strut & swivel hips are perfectly staged under the broadest shoulders known to man & have the audience captivated in his capable hands…to the point of him even blushing at the audiences adoration.
Unusually, the two main leads do concentrate on what they are wonderfully displaying in terms of acting & dancing, leaving the qualified singing to be belted out elsewhere with outstanding vocal performances. Personally, I believe this is refreshing in a musical rather than loading principal actors with a multitude of expectations that can feel lacking at some point…and therefore adds to the authenticity of the original delivery of the film…whilst bringing more diversity & professional expertise into the production.
T. J.
I been here 3 times. Twice when We Will Rock You was played and now for Prince of Egypt.
I will definitely come back for more.
Great place with character. Excellent musicals with mechanical stage.
Center of town. Before and after the shows you can visit China Town, try cousins of different origins in restaurants. In other words you can see heart of London ☺️
A. B.
Lovely teatre. Saw prince of egypt. Good play although they changed the ending from the biblical truth; dont know why?!?! Nice staff.
M.
Very comfortable seats, good performance, will be back again.
C. L. L.
Stuffy theatre and the seat is small and uncomfortable. As the quality is not superb, so when you moved, other people along the seats will notice the movement.
S. B.
Amazing experience to watch dirty dancing with my mum☺️💕 seats were cosy and lots of leg room. The performance was amazing - like the movie and understandable with scenes that elaborated the story line 🎭
H. O.
Went to see the Prince of Egypt and was blown away - loved it! The vocals, the cast, everything was amazing. They really brought the story to life and the music was incredible. Such a shame that the second half of the show was fairly ruined for me - SO MANY people on their phones, even ordering Uber eats?? And many people talking. I do feel like the staff member by that section was too busy watching the show to monitor the guests… other than that it was great. I did try to get his attention but eventually some of those annoying people left early!
G. M.
One of the best theatres. Great access from public transport, comfortable seating with good leg room. Great views from every seat.
N. K.
Nice and comfortable and well laid out seats. Enjoyed watching Prince of Egypt. However, would have liked a better way to order food and drinks as menu seemed to be off from just before show began and even through intermission. Liked the way Hamilton and Mamma Mia order their food in a COVID safe way.
L. T.
Dirty Dancing was an AMAZING show! Incredible dance, wonderful singing and a very impressive live band! Go see it!
T. S.
First play in London; saw Prince of Egypt. Sat in circle seating. Nothing to complain about except that it was cold and we would’ve appreciated a hot drink at concessions.
T. H.
Massive, lovely old theatre, so worth getting some decent seats, although good view from everywhere. Went to see Prince of Egypt, which was spectacular. Nice place with plenty of space to chill out and good facilities.
S. T.
Saw the prince of egypt here and it was wonderful. Lovely theatre with lots of seating and a great view from most seats. Good facilities and friendly staff
S. S. (.
Something quite special about the box office windows inside, really defines old London nostalgia, and the art deco intetio is a marvel! Fantastic view from bargain seats in stalls Y26 & 27, the most leg room I've ever had at a theatre!
The wide stage set allows to feel close enough not to miss anything. Loved it when the actors departed the stage and walked through the auditorium for The Prince Of Egypt show!
Average bar snack prices £2.60 500ml bottle of water, ~£3.20 a mini pot of Häagen-Dazs.
You can bring your own reusable sports bottle, no glass. Grab a pre-show meal at a nearby restaurant like Arirang to really feel the city vyb.
L. C.
The theatre was spacious and very organised. We had a situation with other visitors to the theatre where we needed the staff to step in. I spoke with Emmanuel and one of his colleagues who dealt with the situation straight away. Had that not happen, we would have had a very different experience. Thank you for your hard work! Show was great too.
N. S.
Beautiful theatre, I really enjoyed the musical American in Paris. I would recommend seats in the middle of row L, was very good visibility not too close as the stage is quite tall. The only thing we could hear the noise from the trains …
D. B.
The theatre and it's staff are lovely. The building is well kept and it is a great venue to watch musicals at. The only negative is the costs of drinks and snacks. My daughter brought me tickets for mother's day to see dirty dancing 💃 it was amazing
W. R.
Easy entry during these covid times.

Lovely theatre and staff qere amazing. Really helpful. Friendly. And non judgemental. Thank you
T. J.
I been here 3 times. Twice when We Will Rock You was played and now for Prince of Egypt.
I will definitely come back for more. …
L. N.
Beautiful theater, very spacious, even the highest seats provide a fantastic view of the stage. Highly recommend.
F.
A beautiful theatre with grand design. We went to go and see Prince of Egypt and although I was very disappointed with the show, I do appreciate the theatrics to it. It was an experience all in all. But for any fellow Christians out there, …
K.
Huge theatre. Very comfortable. Good viewing from every seat. But if you want to see faces I would recommend sitting somewhere rather lower than circle. I watched White Christmas. Beautifully done. Theatre gets very warm so don't overdress …
P. D.
Great seated service however drinks were served warm and No ice!
T. G.
Went to see The Prince of Egypt, it was amazing! Dominion is definitely one of my favourite theatres, seating is really spacious and comfortable, drinks etc are decently priced. Would recommend for sure ☺️
I. B.
I want to see this wonderful performance of The Prince of Egypt which was very entertaining. The music and cast were do amazing and was a very enjoyable experience.
N. N.
Super, Prince of Egypt was fantastic. Great staff.

Great place. Even the back seats are absolutely fine.
S. B.
Had a great evening. Good seats. Drinks a bit pricey. Fantastic show.
L. N.
Beautiful theater, very spacious, even the highest seats provide a fantastic view of the stage. Highly recommend.
D. T.
Great performance, theatre very close to the tube.
L. J.
We saw Dirty Dancing which was absolutely brilliant. Excellent cast. We thoroughly enjoyed the Matinee.
G. W.
Great venue, great location, great layout, (comparatively) reasonable prices and good shows. It annoys me that they don't offer physical tickets, however - only e-tickets.
n. T.
Watched dirty dancing .great show and cast .
Theatre is not too big and seats are a good size and not to narrow .
J. D.
Brilliant Theatre and Dirty Dancing this afternoon was Outstanding.
Very Raunchy and very Sexy for a Saturday afternoon performance!!
J. Š.
Very nice building. My friends and I visited Sunday service of the Hillsong church that takes place here. Fantastic organization and very welcoming atmosphere. I really enjoyed the harmony of historical monumental respected building and modern understandable church.
S. R.
Lovely theatre. Has a tube station literally 30 paces away from the front door. Went to see the Bat Out Of Hell show. Great view from everywhere in the theatre, small but perfectly formed.
d. P.
Amazing place so warm and welcoming staff.
Went to see dirty dancing

The subtitles too what a fab idea on the side screens amazing idea
C. H.
Went to see Prince of Egypt for second time in as many months, even with all the pingdemic closures. Fantastic theatre for any seating area.
C.
Love seeing shows here such an easy theatre to get to great views and location and amazing shows nothing bad to say.
C. C.
Lovely theatre . My low cost seats are well worth the money. The show and atmosphere was great .
S. M.
Dirty Dancing was an excellent production. They caught the important elements of the original film on the stage.
A. E.
Leg room ace, not like most other theatres.
C. K.
We went there to see dirty dancing and it was astonishing! Highly recommended! Shame it ends this month!
We sat in grand circle and the view was amazing
L. C.
Went to see bat out of hell, throughly enjoyed the show.
Picking up tickets before the show was very easy and plenty of staff around to help out.
The bar was what you expected, over priced and not great value for money.
Great show and great venue from this experience
G. R.
Dirty dancing was amazing. Loads of space at seats. Plus at seat service was a lovely touch!
E. R.
Lovely theatre. Staff were friendly. Expensive food and drink but that is to be expected.
D. b.
We really enjoyed the performance and had a great evening, i would recommend this place if you are in the area
P. S.
Beautiful old theatre. Saw the musical Dirty dancing, I had the time if my life!!!
l. s.
Was great straight out of station into theatre hopefully will get to go again soon
l. c.
Lovely theatre and staff qere amazing. Really helpful. Friendly. And non judgemental. Thank you
J. K.
The rows in the lower area are a bit uncomfortable to sit on and the seats are not in the right angle to each other. Wasn't able to see the left part of the stage. Show stopped because of technical difficulties out of nowhere. Performers were doing a good job though.
M. K.
Great Loved watching dirty dancing here
S. P.
My daughter brought me tickets for mother's day to see dirty dancing 💃 it was amazing
C. K.
Great facility, I've enjoyed the Prince of Egypt with drinks and snacks delivered to my seat. Definitely had the time of my life and the show was just out of this world.

T. K.
Dirty Dancing is a big shout out, worth every penny for those tickets...loved it!
M. M.
It was an amazing experience if you book a seat further back, I'd recommend bringing binoculars.
C. C.
Amazing show great seats I watched dirty Dancing!!! I would definitely recommend it.
B. P.
Went to watch White Christmas and this was such a fun musical. This theatre is quite spacious and has good leg room per seat compared to others in London. Local restaurants are nearby if you want a bite to eat before the shows.
J. B.
Loved the dirty dancing show very entertaining the theatre was easy to get to by train xx
J. N.
Awesome year 1959! At Rydell's High
p. c.
Great show excellent singers and dancers, clean theatre , slightly strange storyline
B. F.
Large venue. The entrance is not as glamourous as other theaters in London, but the house is beautiful. Convenient to public transportation.
D. D.
Saw Dirty Dancing here and it was amazing
V. M.
Brilliant show, venue was excellent. Staff knew what they were doing and were very friendly
R. E.
A great experience always happy to visit. Great Theatre good staff
C. W.
Watched a really great show, but didn't ask for the information it says you need online
Y. K.
We went to see Bat Out of Hell on may 10th, absolutely brilliant show and lovely theatre.
One set of toilets where quite big and another I went to smallish.
Well worth watching from start to finish.
J. D.
Really good theatre. Underground right next door. Good night out
D. W.
This venerable theatre remains beautifully maintained with friendly, efficient staff. Known for blockbuster rock themed musical productions of high quality, the long running Queen based "We will rock you" has been replaced by the Meatloaf music based "Bat out of hell". A great night and a lovely venue.
K. B.
Amazing show. Not at full capacity and all staff very helpful and friendly making sure you are in the correct lines. Hand sanitizer available for use. They do ask for face masks to be worn which wasn't a problem for us.
S. S.
Fantastic theatre, great service and welcoming staff. Prince of Egypt was superb! Highly recommend to watch this musical.
T. N.
Loved seeing Prince of Egypt. Was great to see a musical after COVID
M. Ö.
Nice theatre, but Dirty Dancing which we have seen was just ok.
J. R.
Dirty Dancing was fantastic. The Dancing was amazing. Just as Patrick Swayze danced. X
M. O.
It's a nice theatre, seats are very comfortable, and you can see the stage clearly, I watched bat out of hell it was also very very nice play ,the story, performers, songs and special effects were amazing ,it worths every penny you paid I highly recommend you too see, and Dominion theatre is very close to tothannam court road station
P. C.
Went to see dirty danceing great show .good seats great night
A. A.
Best theatre experience. Loved every moment of the show. The acting, signing, lighting, colour themes, the excitement and the energy was incredible. We were magnetized in the story of the Prince of Egypt. Make sure you buy the front-middle seats to capture the whole stage. Make sure you arrive at least 20 minutes early as the crowd outside gets long very quickly. Lastly order your snacks before the show and the stewards will bring them to you during the intermission. We cannot wait to go back again for another show.
w. “. t.
View isn't the best unless you buy the expensive seats, also the place stinks of cigarettes at the interval as they leave the front doors wide open
a. b.
Great show and fabulous setting
S. G.
We went to see The Prince of Egypt and had a truly amazing time. The dancing, the singing, the stage and the way it all works perfectly together. We took four children aged 8, 11, 13 and 19 and they all loved it just as much as we did. If you look now you can make big savings for half term too!!
L. Y.
Lovely theatre, well organised, staff lovely, show brilliant - dirty dancing
r. d.
Loved every bit of this. Ģreat theater experience with fantastic acoustics, special effects and lighting. All made better by watching a brilliant show, The Prince Of Egypt.
Easy to find and close to the station.
R. T.
The show was great, but scary when probably 10 % of the audience wore masks when asked to do so! Can't blame the venue. Seats had plenty of leg room.
J. B.
We went to watch The Prince of Egypt here. Good venue, seats have good visuals from most points. Would have been 5 stars, but a member of staff spilled cider on me, then didn't make any effort to replace the drink.
C. M.
First ever visit to West End and it was amazing! What a show! Took my breath away! Theatre was wonderful too great atmosphere. Toilets need updating but only fault. Staff v friendly. I'll definitely be back
C. W.
Really lovely old theatre with a nice history to it.
Seats are spaced just enough, at least in the stalls area. The theatre is actually not too big, so wherever you get a seat, you will always have a perfectly good view, which I feel is so important!
C. G.
Staff were great and the seats in the upper circle were more spacious than in most theatres. Lots of legroom and not too narrow.
Prince of Egypt was amazing, if you get a chance to see it, go for it!
A. J.
Went and saw Grease recently at Dominion Theatre, show was brilliant, lovely Theatre
C. A.
Wonderful theatre. Paw Prince of Egypt. Amazing choreography.. dancing and singing and the stage sets were great. Very friendly and welcoming staff.
S. L.
Nice place to see a show spoons is just down road so handy lol
not to big
N. K.
Beautiful theatre, and Prince of Egypt is absolutely divine. View is from stalls G41
l.
If you're a fan of bats out of h*** I hope you get to see this musical before It's engagement ends Of course you cannot take pictures during the actual musical but here's a picture of the stage set up
J. R.
The Dominion Theatre has a large stalls auditorium. If you are going to see a show there, Centre Stalls would be better, especially with children.
J. G.
Great show. Good theatre with good view and sound.
J. O.
The Dominion Theatre is a very beautiful and luxurious environment to go to to watch a theatre production. I went to watch The Prince of Egypt and it was absolutely spectacular the actors were phenomenal and I would recommend anyone who loves the theatre to go and see it
M. P.
Lovely theatre. Wonderful, helpful and professional personnel.
I've sat in the last row of of stalls with restricted view, and yet I've seen everything during the play if Prince of Egypt. This was first time I've had a comfortable seat with legroom in theatre.
V. B.
Really lovely theatre. Staff couldn't be more helpful they really were excellent. Visited with two friends one of which in a wheelchair and were in the Nederlander box to see An American in Paris. Didn't know we would be sharing the box with another wheelchair user and two friends. Viewing was extremely limited as the other party had the front of the box. Transferred out in the interval to an aisle seat in the stalls where the viewing was much better. The photo shows how restricted the view was.
S. P.
Watched dirty dancing.
Massive theatre really good seats no matter where you sit.
S. G.
Went to see dirty dancing 🕺. Amazing theatre, seats were fantastic, even at the furthest seats.
K. S.
Went to see Prince of Egypt which was utterly brilliant. Very nice theatre and everything well-organised. Fantastic evening.
P. D.
Great seated service however drinks were served warm and No ice!
A. S.
Enjoyed watching Prince of Egypt a musical extravaganza about Moses. Wide open stage and we got a great view from the front row. Sound quality was excellent.
N. P.
Seats in rows rather than staggered. Good amount of bars to get a drink
Dirty dancing production very poor
J. E.
Prince if Egypt was incredible!
I like that the seats here were elevated so everyone has a good view!
Z. S.
Prince of Egypt was brilliant at the Dominion theatre. The theatre itself is in a great location right by Tottenham court road tube station. The stalls are angled so it's easier for those at the back to sit. Getting in and out was very quick.
K. M.
Our first experience of a West end play and loved the (Prince of Egypt). The only critic would be that the show was maybe 30mins too long as I fought to get to the end as we watched the 7.30pm show and it finished after 10pm, aside from that the cast was amazing, I took my 13yr old daughter and she loved it 4*!
L. F.
What kind welcoming staff. Superb show. Drinks ordered in our seats and delivered to our seats and really great prices. My birthday treat and had a wonderful time.
R. T.
Great show
Roomy seats
WAY too hot.
I suppose slowly cooking visitors alive through the first half is a good way of selling refreshing beverages and ice-cream in the interval.
D. S.
Great show, my first musical so can't compare. Clean and tidy.
Downside was quite cramped, seats not the most comfortable, and if you've someone tall in the row ahead you'll have an obstructed view.
C. G.
Amazing location, spacious building, great views from most of the seats and the bests plays in the West End. I´m a big time theater enthusiast and this must be one of the best places to see live performances in London
m. a.
Watched the prince of Egypt. The theatre was snug and cosy, the ticket process very straightforward and staff friendly. I would definitely go back. Highly recommend!!
A. d. Z.
The famous West End theatre. A well know, well run and special place to watch a show. Good facilities too
D. W.
Went to see Dirty Dancing and loved it! Can't wait to return to see Grease!
G. K.
Fantastic theatre. Really big inside so you actually get more than a postage stamp of leg space. Easy to get to and lots around it. Perfect.
m. m.
Dirty dancing was fantastic entertainment but the theatre was so hot in side all eight of us was sweating buckets put the air con on
T. S.
Not pleased with seating arrangement. Blocks views if somebody even of average height sits in the seat in front of you
s. a.
Went n watched Prince of Egypt. Great show. The theatre seating wasn't on a slope enof so few people taller than us sat in front rows n make it hard to watch so keep having to crane my next to try see the while stage. Also they don't do hot drinks. N ice cream we hv to go bk inside theatre to purchase where tge card system needs WiFi and WiFi was pants in ghe theatre. Be good id they sell vce cream outside toonso we don't hv to queue up 2x.
A. R.

N. F.
Nice old theatre. Easy to get to - just outside Totenham court rd.
r. c.
Great evening out seating was ok waiting time not too long
c. R.
Lovely venue and staff were nice too.
Toilets maybe need to be fumigated as there was quite a stench when you go in there. Other than that the rest of the venue seemed clean
V. P.
Went to see Prince of Egypt, i was late to my entrance appointment but nobody made an issue out of it and the staff was very helpful and kind to show me the way. And the show was amazing
N. M.

J. D.
Great theatre, saw Dirty Dancing there which is a really fun show.
K. E.
Fabulous show (Prince of Egypt).
Very well organised entry system. Covid rules in place and felt very safe
G. T.
Went to see The Prince of Egypt and the performance was brilliant. The seats were a bit firm for me and became slightly uncomfortable after a while, I ended up becoming a bit of a fidget because my cheeks were going to sleep, I was wide awake though on the whole as the show was far from boring and really well done.
s. p.
Beautiful!!! But the place can be kept better. I suffer from dust allergies and stepping inside instantly flared up my sinuses. Can be cleaner since it's fully carpeted.
A. A.
Grease was good enough although story was slightly changed.
C. F.
Great theatre with very good seating. Show can be view from anywhere. I have seen We Will Rock You here and it was a memorable experience with excellent performances.

N. Y.

T. O.
Historic London Theater in London's West End.
The Tube station is right near the theatre making travel to and from a breeze.
In my eyes, the spiritual home of Queen's 'We Will Rock You'!
M. T.
Some seats are too far back, but the overall experience, from the performers and all the props used is amazing!
r. f.
Good show couple of dodgy singers but all moved along well
S. F.
Great atmosphere , fantastic show Dirty Dancing ,highly recommended 👌
C. E.

Brilliant show amazing atmosphere we loved it. Thank you Dirty Dancing!!
R. N.
Gran theatre from the 1920s, massive auditorium & huge stage. Current showing Prince of Egypt, magnificent!
T. S.
Plenty of space for your legs. Footloose was great!
I. G.
Lovely, well presented theatre. No problem with viewing such a fine performance. Not a five star entry because there was a strange, piercing back-noise throughout the quieter periods of the play. Disappointingly annoying.
A. F.
Great theatre. Very ornate and lovingly restored to former glory. Great presence from the road. Saw Bat of Hell which was a fantastic show both performance and scene changes and effects.
R. B.
Went to see the Prince of Egypt here.
Was really good. Theatre was really clean, and the view to the stage was also ok. Only issue here was, the staff did not check your COVID vaccine status or ensure face coverings where worn.
d. c.
The staff were very polite and courteous.
The show was excellent.

M. v. H.
Since a long time back in London. Strolling in West End and remembering seeing the tube advertisments from the 'Bat out of Hell' musical. On a spur we walked into Dominion Theatre to ask if there were still tiquets for the evening show. The very friendly lady at the box office made sure we bought nice seats. There was a sign at the tiquet office that asked NOT to sing a long, move, cheer a.s.o. during the show, which made me happy! The show was super. A must to see visiting London. The Domion Theatre is very nice. Old vibe. Vintage pictures at the hallway walls. Good view, clean. Friendly users and even the toilets were pleasantly accesible during break. A overall exellent expierence.
C. E.
Theatre is great seen a few produ tons here now....
N. J.
Organisation was good. Theatre was lovely and show of course was excellent!
A. S.
Dirty Dancing was fabulous!!! Beautiful theatre it's good to see a London show??
J. J.
Went to see Meatloaf's Bat Out of Hell production at The Dominion Theatre. The show is fantastic, we had a very enjoyable night, the nostalgic songs were amazing, the production, stage and cast really made this a memorable night.
R.
E-tickets save so much time getting inside. Quick bar service and comfy roomy seats
H. G.
Came here for Hillsong Sunday service. The sight line is good. The structure well maintained and clean. There's a mini binocular you can rent in front of your seat with £1 coins, maybe for theatrical performance
C. C.
Great theatre and have visited many times over the years. Fabulous production and although a little disappointed that there were not a few more theatrics, it was a good night!
