David Harvey has changed my life forever. The level of understanding he has of the human body is beyond knowing the facts but is applied to your particular lifestyle and experiences . As someone who had been dealing with back pain for years, he was able to cater my treatment to my body's particular reactions and coping mechanisms. Additionally David always strives to make all of your sessions accessible,  so you know what's going on and how everything is related which makes you able to help yourself improve as well. David is a highly skilled and well trained professional who is always compassionate and empathetic which helps immensely when the impact on your life is monumental. I've never felt so seen and heard by a medical professional which is why he is am amazing practitioner that gets results that change your life. Thank you David for your life changing impact. Having tried a few different treatments for sports injuries I decided to give Chiropractic a go and pay David a visit at Health Shak and what can I say I have been going regularly ever since! Training as an athlete most days, I was always plagued by various niggling injuries. However, these have all but disappeared since I began getting regular treatment at Health Shak. My posture is noticeably better and my movement feels much freer. In training sessions after my first couple of adjustments I felt muscles that I hadn't felt being used before which had been unlocked. Health Shak is nicely decorated with green plants and a few posters which give it a warm atmosphere far from the sterilised clinical environment of many healthcare establishments. As for David, he is an absolute professional, thorough and friendly! He even provided me with advice on setting up my workspace to keep my posture solid. Can't recommend this place enough!

Very impressed with everything I've seen so far. Firstly I must say the energy in the space is amazing, the place is very clean and tidy and I love the choice in the plants that have been decorated around the space. I was made to feel very welcome and calm and lets not forget safe, my temperature was taken as soon as I walked in and there was hand sanitizer close by too. David was wearing a good amount of ppe gloves, mask apron the whole lot. When you have your first consultation 1 to 1 in the health shak clinic I'm sure you will have many more I'm currently on my way to my 3rd session with David so far. He teaches you about the body whilst giving you treatment so you know what he's doing and why he's doing it which I love because I've learnt so much about the body. I like the way David articulates himself and makes you feel relaxed and relieved that you are in his hands because after listening to him for even 5 minutes you can tell he really knows what he's doing. So after 2 sessions I've seen a huge difference in my posture and pain I've had in my lower back for over 3 years so I can't wait to see even more improvement over the next coming months

Detailed review: I fully vouch for and highly recommend visiting David and Team Health Shak if you have any aches or pains in your back at all! For years I'd been suffering on and off pains in my lower back and occasionally in between my shoulder blades and even in my neck . The pains in my lower back were sometimes so painful that I could hardly move and it would even take me a while to be able to get out of bed. I believe I had sciatica and it seemed there was not much I could do. I had seen masseuses because I thought the pain in my lower back was due to aching muscles but the massages didn't help much and only provided temporary relief. My brother suggested I go and see a chiropractor and recommended David. Making that appointment was one of the best decisions I have made! From the online consultation and my first visit right until my last adjustment, David has been a pro and a gentleman. He has good chat and can really educate you about the body and each of the actions he performs on you. I experienced some karate-chop ting, back-crack and neck-cracking ting, some foot pokey and hip adjustment moves. Madness! But I really enjoyed everything! It's evident David is super passionate and very good at what he does. After my first visit at the Health Shak I immediately noticed a big difference and felt changes in back and body. I walked out of the clinic feeling great! The pain in my lower back was rapidly disappearing - two weeks later I no longer feel any pains in my back and my posture has massively improved. He even "removed" the pain in between my shoulder blades and tension in my neck has disappeared. It's crazy what a difference he has made. How much money would you spend on some trainers? I came to see David for my neck pain and can really recommend him for not only back pain but for all aspects of the body, he has so much in-depth knowledge that he explains what he is doing and why which really helps. Having been in a car accident 5 years ago, I was sent to see many professionals who told me that I would have to learn to live with the pain in my lower back, left shoulder and neck. After a couple months of seeing David, the pain had reduced drastically (as well as my posture) and I was and still am able to get between 6-8hrs of sleep at night - which I hadn't been able to in years! From the consultation to getting treated, the whole process is handled professionally and with care. David provides more than just a temporary fix, he really explores the route of what causes certain aches and pains, so you exit the clinic feeling more aligned and 'complete'. Even though I thought of myself as reasonably fit and mobile, I didn't realise how tight/restricted certain joints/parts of my body were until I got treated by David. After my treatments, I noticed an improvement when inhaling/exhaling, walking felt a lot easier (which was a crazy sensation because I thought my walking was just fine!) and a decrease of tightness/pain in my neck, as well as my lower back. The last treatment I received from David was around three weeks ago, and I truly believe that I'm still feeling the positive effects because of him. David also treated my mum who is in her sixties. Before, she had a few aches and pains in a few places, key areas being her shoulder and knee. After several treatments, the pain is now gone and I've noticed an improvement when my mum performs various everyday movements ie walking and getting on/off a stationary bike. In regards to COVID safety, David wears the correct PPE throughout the whole treatment. In less words, if you're experiencing any aches/pains or if you're just curious to experience the benefits of being adjusted, I can't recommend David and the HEALTH SHAK team enough.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Before seeing David I was suffering with headaches and lower back pain. I was even getting referred pain down one of my legs. It was so frustrating because it was stopping me running and even the simple day-to-day tasks were painful. Since being treated at Health Shak my headaches have gone and I’m back to running pain free. I feel more balanced, I have more energy, I breath better and I’m finally able to get on with my day without the distraction of aches and pain.
